2521  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: January 10, 2022, 05:16:30 PM
Money does not guarantee happiness. In my opinion, money and happiness are 2 different things. Happiness can be found in simple things.
I find it strange when there are people who do everything they can to earn money and they think it's for their happiness. I think that mindset is wrong.
What you say is true but we also can't deny that having a lot of money can make someone happy,
We can't measure someone's happiness because everyone has their own standard of happiness

I somehow disagree with the first statement.

While there may be this misconception that money does NOT guarantee happiness, it does enable someone to be happy especially if a person came from nothing and gained everything. It all depends on whether the person has the capability of transforming money and converting it into happiness by purchasing stuff or experiencing once-in-a-lifetime moments.

That is why, every time I hear someone saying that money cannot buy happiness, I tend to disagree. I mean, if I have the money to own several BTCs, that would definitely make me happy.
2522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: January 10, 2022, 05:07:54 PM
By the way, did anyone watch the World Rapid and Blitz Championship which ended at the end of December?
First, Magnus, due to additional indicators, took third place in rapid, and then, after he was very indignant about this, he showed an even worse result in the blitz - 12th place. This once again shows that it is high time to change the formula for playing the chess crown, and in fair conditions the reigning champion will feel much less comfortable than now.

Unfortunately, that is where he stands right now but you also have to consider that Magnus was also preparing for the WCC 2021 while the other players are busy preparing for rapid and blitz championships. I do think that Magnus performs exceptionally well when his back is against the wall- like he is on the verge/edge of defeat. That is what sparks his interest and competitiveness that unleashes his inner instincts more compared to preparation.

I do think that he will be getting his revenge by next year given that there is something that he has to prove. Being at the top can definitely make someone lose their motivation and the fact that Magnus was not able to snatch rapid and blitz championships this year, he will definitely be hungry for next year.
2523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site in 2021 on: January 10, 2022, 04:12:56 PM
Talking about the best gambling sites i think it from personal experience so most of gamblers will have their own choice but it will be more good if OP added poll to this thread with the current famous gambling sites which exist in his forum as the lists so besides giving some opinions people can vote the poll and we will see the results of poll which is determined which casinos will be the best gambling sites in 2021

If I were to base my list on the best gambling site in 2021, I would primarily put the long-time gambling websites that are still ongoing until now. To create a list, here are some of the best gambling websites that I have tried so far:

1. Fortune Jack;
2. Duelbits;
3. Playbetr;
4. Roobet; and
5. Cryptogames.

The reason on why I put them on the list is because all of those have a designated campaign signature and support system in the forum. If a person encounters an issue regarding their withdrawals, etc. they can always create threads or notify the managers here in this forum for a relatively easy customer service support. Lastly, most of the casinos that I have mentioned have been around for years, which tells a lot about their system.
2524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 10, 2022, 03:34:58 PM

Yeah, that drive and a dunk, oh so scary but at least he didn't fall hard on his feet so I guess we now feel confident that he is really back. Concern though is Draymond Green, seems that he is still nursing that injury so it might take some time to see him in the Warriors uniform.

So GSW goes deep again with Klay back in the line up, I think it's only Phoenix or Memphis that can match GSW right now in the West.

Even before Klay's comeback, the Warriors is already a dangerous team in the West because of their chemistry and fluidity in their offense, everyone is moving without the ball.

But with Klay back on the line up, it has somewhat stretch the bench, Poole might be coming off the bench and then we still have JTA and then Porter to complement. So maybe we will see another case of winning streak here specially if they are going to play home court, expect them to have a blow out win.

^ GSW were already a team everyone feared in the league and now that Klay is back with the team, they are now gone to be better than ever.

Curry is getting insanely good support from his teammates all around and overall they have a really good depth of the squad. So the manager can easily rotate the squad around, so everyone is fresh at a time. And we all know that Klay is one of the top 5 if not top 3 - 3 pointer shooters in the league. So, I think GSW are in for a treat.

Man, it is so nice seeing Klay back on the ball game but to be honest, I got so nervous when I saw his first dunk where he almost tripped. The way he landed almost gave me a heart-attack! Klay went back and scored 17 on his first game after his injury the future of Warriors are now becoming brighter with his return. I just hope he gets his momentum and confidence back so he would be able to adapt fairly quickly.

The only worry that I have is that since Klay would be back, the other players of Warriors may have half of their time on the court. Though I expect that the team would make the certain adjustments, it is just refreshing to see new players improve game-by-game.
2525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: January 10, 2022, 03:24:21 PM
Finally, someone provided concrete data and analysis to support the idea of HODLing BTC by basing it also primarily on its history price index. Compared to any other investment methods present in the market, BTC had the highest amount of percentage increase on the market given in a relatively shorter amount of time.

By basing it also purely on experience, the total number of BTCs that I received is equal to around ~$37,000 but this price may vary also depending on the current price of it. That is why, I do believe that HODLing long-term is the way to go if a person wants to experience large amounts of profit/gain.
2526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big Wins of 2021 ($550,000+) on: January 09, 2022, 07:18:01 PM
You have a point there, it's an amazing win but I think there's a loss also that has been hiding by the OP.

It's impossible that OP doesn't lose on the way. It's just that when there's an attempt of promoting a service like a tipster, posting winning is what matters. And besides, the summary of the amount seems legit. That's a big win and no doubt about that.

To add some spices for the supposed promotion, if ever there's a tipster service involved here as I didn't check yet OP's Telegram, might be better to have a daily shown of results.

losing is not the biggest problem if we limit big losses
as in trading gambling has 4 kinds of common outcomes

big win
small win
big loss
small loss

if we limit big losses we'll make money on the long run

one can consider breakevens as small losses since they lose time.

Ohh I somehow disagree with your statement. While gambling may involve the four (4) outcomes you mentioned, the problem lies on its unpredictability. While OP did indeed won $550,000 on his pocket which is rarely experienced by a few, it is however implied that he had prior history of betting large amounts of money in the past. Even if we did limit big losses, there is still that issue of unpredictability which is innate on the nature of gambling itself.

I remember that my brother used to gamble as he integrate the martingale system. Though he won large amounts of returns in a single night, there were also some days where he lost more than $1500 on a single bet due to such crucial system.
2527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My 5 months newbie experience on: January 09, 2022, 06:59:47 PM
Ahh, I remember the days before the merit system was implemented. Lots of accounts were created and spams were so prominent across the forum. After such change was made, lots of newbies cried and quitted on the forum since they had a "difficult" time of ranking-up. Again ask yourself, what is the purpose on why you joined this forum in the first place?

OP, I applaud your effort, time, and knowledge you spent. With many newbies and beginners quitting at an early stage, you managed to ranked-up to Full Member despite the difficulties you faced. Continue the momentum and the sharing of knowledge to this forum as your good deeds will be rewarded. Congratulations again, OP.
2528  Economy / Gambling / Re: VR online casinos? on: January 09, 2022, 06:45:51 PM
Hi to all. I'm a metaverses traveler and at the same time  a big fan of gambling . Could someone recommend me a cool VR online casino (suitable for Oculus  Quest 2 goggles) which would allow me to bet  with the use of  crypto currency. What I have found so far is slotsmillion but the problem is it is design for Oculus Rift but not Quest2. Oculus Quest 2 store has casino app to play poker in the virtual space but it is not the same as online casinos with the dozens of games to gamble on.

A VR type of casino? I doubt that such technology/game is available right now since I find it relatively difficult to understand on why people would want such thing. Is it because you want to experience the feeling of attending/visiting a physical casino? I doubt also that game masters would develop such game since a 'virtual reality casino' can easily be accomplished if you just visited one in real life.

Another thing to consider is that the market for VR technology is somehow niche- meaning not all people has access to such technology. With this kind of hindrance, this gives little room for people to create such game.
2529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Historical Bitcoin Prices😊 on: January 09, 2022, 05:20:32 PM
🎅🏻 🎄Historical #Bitcoin prices on Christmas Eve:
2010: $0.25
2011: $4
2012: $13
2013: $651
2014: $330
2015: $453
2016: $899
2017: $13,673
2018: $4,120
2019: $7,318
2020: $23,475
Today: $51,500

Like what I previously mentioned in my past posts, the trend of BTC prices (basing it on its history), tend to be upward. Though there have been cases of bearish prices (like the one we have now), it continues to increase every time a fork happens.

Since the nature of BTC is inflationary due to its limited supply, forks do happen that lowers its denomination which circulates in the blockchain. Miners get lower rewards which makes its price more valuable. That is why, I highly recommend for people to invest in cryptocurrency for long-term gains in order to maximize profits.
2530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you have a chance to become a VIP what casinos will those be on: January 09, 2022, 03:48:46 PM
what extra benefit for become vip ? right know im more often play at csgo500 and rollbit. i like play at casino that have unique game option or feature so i would choose between these two.
The benefit can be a little different from one casino site to another. I have not become a VIP before but there are some benefits that can be given to VIP. Examples of the benefits are free withdrawals or having a discount while withdrawing, gift during the VIP birthday, some free contests, given points that can be converted to cash and many like that which are special offers that are not provided to all members but only to certain people for their loyalty of staying long on the site and the amount of betting they have staked before.

I have a friend who is considered as VIP in a 'physical' casino here in our country and he has a lot of benefits and freebies. For example, every time he gambles in a certain threshold, the casino provides freebies and food to him. Another thing, he has his own room where he can enjoy his privacy and some personal servants aroud him to take care of the deposits/withdrawals. I remember like 2-3 years ago, he was able to win three (3) straight rounds and the casino gave us a one (1) night stay at the hotel itself!

I am not entirely sure about the benefits of a VIP in online gambling but I am pretty sure it has something to do with free withdrawals/discounts.
2531  Local / Pamilihan / Re: face 2 face transaction in Manila on: January 08, 2022, 06:57:31 PM

I'm not saying wag mong gawing, I'm just suggesting it's risky, hope you'll think twice.

I definitely agree with your statement.

Kapag may mga transactions na ganito kataas ang halaga, it is better to rely on exchanges than to meet face-to-face with the buyer. Hindi natin alam kung ano ang pwedeng mangyari especially na ang BTC ay lumalaganap sa bansa ngayon. Gaya nga ng sabi nila, it is better to be safe than sorry- kaya better to sell your BTCs on exchanges. If you are planning to withdraw that amount naman, better din kung paunti-unti yung pag withdraw kasi may history din si coins.ph (if ito yung exchange na pinili mo) na mag flag ng mga accounts due to high withdrawals.
2532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: January 08, 2022, 06:10:59 PM
Quit smoking to invest bitcoin, this is a very good choice because you will get two benefits, health and also Profits from investing and that is if you do it consistently because it takes a process to stop smoking and the risk will always feel hungry in the early stages.
smoking is the same as burning your hard earned money and quitting smoking to buy bitcoin is a smart choice to create a better future.
OP good luck and according to plan and you have a good plan and advice for those who smoke to think like you.

Not just a very good choice but definitely the best choice that a person could do- quit your haphazard habit and switch it up to something meaningful that will benefit you in the future.

As far as I know, people who smoke cigarettes spend an average $2,000 yearly on this habit alone. If you were able to remove this dangerous habit that could also ruin your health in the long-run, you are actually doing yourself a favour. Not only do you save lots of money from this process, but you also earn from investing into BTCs and HODL it for long-term. The other benefit is also your health as you would be able to witness your investments profiting two to threefold during your lifetime.
2533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 08, 2022, 05:53:42 PM
We always read the words "Don't bet more than you can afford to lose", but are we really following that safe principle in gambling?

So, I have a question here, if you are earning like $2000 a month, how much are you willing to gamble that you think you can afford to lose?
Please use the amount as a basis for your answer.

Before I answer this question, let us first dissect what $2000/month can do to me as someone who lives in a third-world country.

Earning $2000 a month (P100,000) can definitely make my life relatively comfortable. Given that the standard of living in the Philippines is cheap compared to some countries, I can safely say that I can live comfortable plus savings in around $1500 monthly. The extra $500 can also be further dissected but if I were to be a gambling maniac, I would probably use $200-$300 of my savings as gambling fees which is also considered as "loss money."
2534  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 08, 2022, 04:52:29 PM
I learned a lot from 2021, I was too ambitious for big profits so I invested in new coins so I lost a lot, and in 2022 I will save cryptocurrencies and I use them for staking so I can get 2 benefits, namely rewards and opportunities for big profits because prices go up.

That's a mistake that many of us have done. We aim for high profits and invest in coins which we don't know much about and hence lose money.
But even if you invest in well established coins, it doesn't mean you will make good profits because that depends on how you trade them.
You can buy PoS coins and stake them for a long term which will give you good profits but make sure you are buying potential coins.

I also do think that this is considered as a rookie mistake. Anyone who is relatively new to this kind of setting may create high-hopes of earning large amounts of profits in a given year. But in reality, it really does take some time like your conventional investment methods available (e.g. stocks, golds, bank notes, etc.).

In line with what I just mentioned, creating and making a savings and investment plan may be really effective especially if you can faithfully follow the schedules that you created. In this way, the streamline of activities and investments can be properly maintained and tracked at the same time- which can also avoid any greed or prevent any loss on your part.
2535  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why I love this forum...and we should make it more powerful on: January 08, 2022, 03:24:20 PM
This is true. I pity crytpo gamblers who still are not aware of this place, they are missing so much. The Gambling section of this forum has evolved to such a degree that today it's the best place on the Web to find the info on which crypto gambling platforms to play, what games to play and how to deal with various issues. And, like in the OP's case, they'd rather pay you fast than get bad reputation here. Sometimes I wish this forum was promoted on the national TV or something. It would make life of millions of crypto gamblers easier.

Yeah. Gambling platforms are constantly growing and we will see new ones every day. Therefore, we should always be aware of what we can expect before placing any online bets and try to do our homework before we begin our gambling journey.
There are numerous websites online where we can read casino reviews, but this forum is the best place on the Internet for this type of discussion because it is open to the public, and as such, everyone will be aware of any issues or questions that may be present before beginning to play on any of these platforms. There are thousands of users on this forum, and even the largest crypto casinos do not want to risk their reputation by associating with a name that has a bad reputation.

Just to add, I think that the fact that lots of campaign signatures are focused on providing exposure to various online gambling websites are evidence on its own about its current potential and widespread opportunity of exposure. Lots of gambling companies nowadays pay a hefty sum just to provide exposure to their gambling websites throughout this forum. In addition, the fact that they can also regularly pay various participants also speak to their authenticity and profit in a week.

I just hope that when people are attracted to crypto gambling, their first option would be to search and utilize this forum as a form of guide and support to their needs.
2536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What stopped you from starting crypto earlier??? on: January 07, 2022, 06:05:52 PM
WHAT STOPPED YOU FROM STARTING CRYPTO EARLIER???

I think it is not because it stopped me but rather that its popularity was not that widespread when the time I entered this space.

Back in 2017 (a struggling college student), I remembered that I was having this conversation about watches with my friend. I told him that my dream was to purchase a Seiko watch (SKX-007) but I did not have the necessary funds to get it. He then told me that he participates into campaign signatures that garner him roughly $20/week, so he introduced me to this forum/space. I will be quite frank, that was the first time I ever heard of "bitcoin" and its characteristics.
2537  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Crypto online sabong? on: January 07, 2022, 05:32:13 PM

Masyadong mataas talaga ang value for me to gamble them away given na mukhang mag fofork na din.
2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: January 07, 2022, 04:21:24 PM
What you said is true. Myself too have the same definition when it comes to chess. Maybe we can call it a mind game, because the win is much associated with the thinking and not about the physical acts. As said eSports were just a resembling of real sports, and not real sports. But the naming is done in a right way adding "e" to the sports.

I find it also amusing that chess indeed is the sport that involves mentally and psychological battle between you and your opponent. The slightest mistake could definitely cost the match that may have lasted for several hours depending on the game format (e.g. classical, rapid, blitz, or bullet). Though many have argued that chess is not considered as a "real sport", I do think that suffering a loss here can be brutally painful.

I am just thrilled that this sport has been widespread recognized and its popularity is steadily increasing. I just hope that more people would try it out as it is definitely enjoyable!
2539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 07, 2022, 02:56:43 PM
I've read a few articles on the web which indicated you could get rich with just 0.01 BTC. At first, it seemed crazy to me considering that Bitcoin is still below $1m. But then it started to make sense after knowing that the pioneer cryptocurrency was designed with deflation in mind. Each halving had a positive effect in BTC's price, so one would guess the next one will lead us to a BTC worth more than $100k. To become a millionaire with 0.01 BTC, the price of one Bitcoin must be $100m. Prices are still volatile, so I'm having my doubts whenever I'd really become rich with just 0.01 BTC or not.

What do you think? Is it really possible to become rich with 0.01 BTC in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

Makes sense actually. Remember the times when the denominations and payouts of campaign signatures where around 0.05 BTC/weekly for Jr. Members? Every time a fork happens, its denomination is halved making it more inflationary and more valuable. That is why the value of BTC increases every time a fork happens.

To be honest, owning 0.01 BTC does not automatically make you rich but it does have the potential of giving you large amounts of resources in the future if you HODL it for long-term.
2540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I recovered my wallet from 2014 and saw how close I was to being a millionaire on: January 06, 2022, 06:09:03 PM
I somehow/relatively understand what you are going through, OP.

Back in 2017 when I first started my journey in this forum, I remember earning 0.005 BTC/weekly (roughly ~$5) from participating into campaign signatures. I mostly cashed out my BTCs every time I earn around $20 since I had to purchase some books for my education. Looking back and upon checking my wallet address, I noticed that if I did not sell all of my BTCs that I earned, I could have had ~$35,000 on my pocket right now which is definitely game-changing for someone who lives in a third-world country.

While your losses are far greater than what I just shared, still, the lesson is definitely to HODL for long-term gains.
