2461  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: January 29, 2022, 05:51:42 PM
From the beginning of humans, we have created boundaries between ourselves by lots of conflict over the century. Our greediness and eagerness for more power make us intelligent animals. Humans are capable of their own destruction. But what if those never happen? what will be the scenario of the current world if there is only one nation and one currency and humans invest their full strength for human resource development and the development of science and technology? What do you think is that even possible in the future and what will be the benefits and inconvenience of it?

This is definitely will not happen. Given the fact that there are countries who are underdeveloped, developing, and developed countries, the variance among their respective treasuries and value of currency would be against the these poor countries. The rich will only become richer, and the poor will become poorer as they will be deeply prejudiced with this kind of setup.

Though having one universal currency may sound a good idea that could potentially solve issues with regards to transaction, I honestly believe that it would bring more harm than good.
2462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: State Senator Introduces Bill to Make Bitcoin Legal Tender in Arizona on: January 29, 2022, 10:35:21 AM
The State of Arizona can pass the bill, but it needs to abide with the constitution of America. Maybe it can give access to shops and other services the legality to be used. Bitcoin to be a legal tender can't be made, maybe there'll be different laws that can get an exclusion. I'm not that technical, but from a common man's view this isn't gonna happen for now.

This is definitely true. Though I do not have any personal experience with federalism, but the law that the State of Arizona must kneel down before the Constitutional law as the latter is considered the supreme law in its own nature. If, in the event, that the state of Arizona does indeed successfully pass the bill (which I highly doubt so), this would definitely clash with some of the provisions of the Constitution in which the legislature will soon strike as unconstitutional.

All laws emanate from the Constitution. Whenever there is an act or a law that goes against the very nature of this supreme law, then I doubt that it will materialize, unless the legislature amends the constitution.
2463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino behavior that turn you off on: January 29, 2022, 03:28:40 AM
Different forks with different opinions, I have seen quite a lot of gambling sites that have hard a rough pass and this reflects on their reputation both on this forum and outside the forum, this leads me to ask what are the bad behavior of casino operators that turn you off from the site?

There are lots of reasons on why online casinos have been neglected by users. But the core issues that I think that may either make or break the casino are the following:

  • Lack of customer service response;
  • Asking for too much KYC documents; and/or
  • Vague and fake giveaways.

I think the first reason is self-explanatory given that in an online setting, customer response is the key for a successful project. For the second issue, asking for too much KYC documents usually put people in a situation where they feel uncomfortable and unsafe. For the last issue, I think there are thousands of online casinos click-baiting you with their so-called "free BTC giveaways" but in fact, not.
2464  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: January 28, 2022, 07:23:19 PM
Hello to all.
are there any gamblers who play high limits and always manage to withdraw their winnings from betting crypto sites?
because even reading the A tier I find that often the winnings are not paid and money get blocked and I don't know which one to trust.
Thank you for any advice

There are dozens of established online gambling websites/casinos available nowadays. In addition, if you were to choose an online casino, I would suggest websites that have an active forum/user-base in this forum for easier contact of customer support services.

I would like to mention also that there are dozens of online casinos that are ongoing for a certain number of years already. They have also proven their trustworthiness on its player base due to the number of years that they are in service. Scroll around the gambling boards and do some background researches before you invest into it.
2465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is valuable? on: January 28, 2022, 07:11:31 PM
When I read the title, I thought you were asking us why it is valuable but I see that you are rather telling us why it is valuable. I don't know where you get your example from, but the only thing you are right about is the 21 million limit. It is as simple as that it is the best digital system to store and transfer value, especially in large quantities, decentralized, autonomous and resistant to censorship.

To be honest, I also got the same feeling when OP phrased his title as I was expecting it to be a question, but it turned out that it was some valuable information instead.

But like you mentioned, the reason on why BTC is considered to be valuable is due to its inflationary value and limited supply on the market. Having only a 21 million in supply means that its price is bound my inflation, and supply-demand. Considering that BTC is used as a form of currency that deletes the use of a third-party in handling our transactions, people can safely transact on the BTC network money from one person to another, without worrying too much on your identity.
2466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: little knowledge about gambling - before I knowing bitcointalk.org forum on: January 27, 2022, 03:40:16 PM
So, gamble if not to win, why do people gamble, I don't accept that advice, I gamble to win, if not to win I won't gamble.

Gambling is determined by luck and there are many people with poor emotional control (like me). Op's advice is of course good and is actually a principle that I hold in gambling. As such, I'm not too dedicated to winning bets. It's not that I don't want to win, but I'm more worried about myself when I lose more while winning is my goal.

I think the reasoning varies on why people gamble in the first place. While most gamblers play for the win, there are also others who just really want to experience the thrill of the adrenaline kicking. I think this kind of gamblers are the ones who are not worried financially since they have a relatively unlimited supply of capital for their disposal.

Personally, gambling is something that I cannot tolerate with. I tried gambling but most of the results were not in my favor. That is why, I really see it as a form of entertainment where it is relatively difficult to win money (at least in my case).
2467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 24, 2022, 06:15:57 PM
I don't do e-sports betting anymore but when I was, I was betting on dota2 games. I don't really play or understand any other e-sports games. (LoL, CSGO, whatever...) It probably wouldn't have made a difference if I was betting on CSGO games though. Because  the outcome of the dota2 games was nearly impossible to predict. Underdog teams has beaten the favorites many times which made me to believe that it is pointless to make a research on those games.

I somehow disagree with your statement that dota 2 games are nearly impossible to predict. What you just mentioned probably answered your query- since you do not understand the basics/fundamentals of the game, it is natural but to conclude that betting on these types of games are impossible. But coming from the perspective of someone who invested thousands of hours in these games (both dota 2 and csgo), I could at least tell that there are a few factors that helped me in reaching a decision on which team to bet.

You must first understand the dynamics of the team (e.g. playstyle, hero pools, history, matchups, etc.). One you have conducted your research, it is time to bet on the team that you've invested time on reading about. While it may be time consuming, the process is at least rewarding as it discounts the possibility of betting blindly. At least, you have pure information about the statistics on the team and their winning percentages that may help reduce the risk of losing in gambling.

2469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $34k the bottom?? on: January 24, 2022, 05:34:22 PM
We have not hit daily rsi levels this low in a very long time, only a few times in bitcoins history do they go below 20 rsi.
Even then there still is no point in calling the bottom, but we should be close.

If we can build a recovery from this point then things could start to look a bit better.

I think $30,000 is the benchmark on how BTC price can really go low. It's price may soon recover around the $40,000-$50,000 in the coming weeks/months. Though I do not fully understand on how candle charts go (RSIs, etc.), one thing that lets me see the light at the end of the tunnel is the opportunity to acquire more and HODL it for long-term. Basically, this price is a dream for long-term HODLer investors as this is the ATL price of BTC since January of 2021 (~$36,000).

If we were to follow that trend, I do speculate that its price may recover around $50,000 soon. No need to panic as these things happen due to its insane volatility and inflation.
2470  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 24, 2022, 05:24:15 PM
Normally, you will hardly find a casino that avoided those scam accusations on the web. I think that online casinos use those "scam accusation" schemes as a kind of elbowing as the competition is hard in this area. But in fact, you will hardly find a casino scamming people. Some punters lose money, others break rules. Casino's edge allows those sites to stay alive and even to earn money. I always treat those scam accusations with big scepticism, as they have no real ground at all. A casino may scam you in one single case, I think, when you have won a big amount and they don't want to pay you. But this is a rare case. Normally, casino has enough profit to cover its losses that were caused by a lucky gambler.
Say no more to 1xbit Grin so many people already got scammed in this casino, if you want easier to get scammed... 1xbit is your choice Tongue

The fact there's some casinos is trusted enough and really pay the winnings to the players, you can see in this board. They might have a accusations were their players complaints, but the legit casinos will always resolving the cases ASAP. If they didn't resolving the problem and the accusations is legit, their reputations will be ruined just because a single accusations. So it's really a concern to choose a casino who have active representative in this forum.
Think have clear their accusations of fraudulent attitude, last year when then bring prove of those suspect to be scammed, and that is not some thing we should talk again, every one have a casino company they will support, before casino i was supporting very good we're 777coin and bitvest casino, but is recently i know others like 1xbit and when i they had their accusations i dont know but immediately i joined their campaign i noticed that 1×bit is not scam company

Again, I am so baffled on the choice of words you mentioned. You really do not think that 1xbit is a scam online casino in the forum? Lots of threads and comments accusing this casino and most have proven to be true. Unfortunately, this is something that we hear from people who wear their signature- trying to defend something that is PROVEN to be a scam in the first place.

Not to judge you or anything but it goes to show on how much of a company they are in recruiting posters like you. Not to be rude or anything but it is heavily implied that they just want the exposure, regardless on whether the poster can say anything fruitful or not. I just hope you open your eyes from all the allegations that are being spread here in the forum.
2471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally got paid for some work in bitcoin on: January 24, 2022, 05:04:18 PM
I write apps for a living.  Someone wanted a crypto one done and they paid me in bitcoin. Living the dream.

I remember the feeling of earning my first BTC here in the forum. I literally couldn't stop looking at it on my wallet inside our local exchange and the endless possibilities that I have imagined with it are beyond my wildest imagination. As someone who started earning BTCs back in 2017, I could say that I am yet to achieve of earning a solid 1 BTC in my wallet but I am somehow and relatively closer in achieving that dream. As days passed by, I also get nearer and nearer towards that goal, soon in having that shiny 1 BTC on my wallet!

Keep up the good work and this kind of motivation will burn passionately within you. Channel your talents into different works and create opportunities that will allow you to earn more in the forum! Congratulations, OP.
2472  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 24, 2022, 04:19:57 PM

Here on Bitcointalk also anyone can comment on any topic and everyone can believe what they want.

For me one thing is not clear, if tens of thousands of people play at 1xbit every day for huge amounts of money, so why would such a large casino as 1xBit cheat some small gambler?!
Because the victims are randomly selected , and most of the victims are being denied once they won and need withdrawals, meaning most of those gamblers that you are calling has not been winning or withdrawing that is why they are not experiencing that scamming.
but eventually? in the next couple of years? all those gamblers will be one of the victim crying her for help and also you , when this scammers decide to stop their signature campaign and denied your payment lol.

I have not found, so far a genuine player who is able to withdraw their huge earnings and posted them here in Bitcointalk, so there's a possibility that what you're saying is true and I guess it's true, all complaints here are similars they won big amounts they cannot withdraw their earnings which they deserved and their account is eventually banned, and once they open a ticket they are accused of cheating, it's a story that goes over and over again.

I will be honest with you- I am super baffled on why people are continuously gambling on this shady website despite posts being scattered around in the forum alleging their genuineness. Lots of players have fell victim to their schemes where some would not be able to cash-out/redeem their winnings from the website.

As a gambler, you have the primary duty of being responsible to your money. This also includes the responsibility of checking whether the website is genuine or not. As much as I feel bad for those people who lost their money to this shady gambling casino, I partly blame them for their lack of research and naiveness. Like what I also mentioned, prevention is always better than cure.
Sigurado namang may purpose at nagresearch sila about diyan.

This is true!

I just hope na medyo bumaba yung fees and conversion rates kasi medyo malaki nga yung kinukuha nilang percent % dito every time coconvert mo siya sa BTC.
2474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 24, 2022, 02:23:04 PM
The game of Warriors vs Jazz showed the potential of Jordan Poole as a future all-star and franchise player of this team. His confidence, skill, and ways of creating shop opportunities are so much alike of those superstars. He is definitely a threat to be reckoned with and his skill continuously improves game by game. Ingles showed an amazing performance earlier but he missed the game winning shot which went in-and-out of the basket, and the failed tipped-in that could have sealed the game.

After watching the game, I noticed on how players are easily distracted by Curry's movement. Like once he gets running, either 1-2 players would double team him, creating an opportunity for other players to take advantage of the situation.

As we see numbers of experts which are highly experienced with expertise in Cryptocurrency field. Here you can portion of your life journey in this platform from where you start ,How much time its takes to accomplish your milestone, which strategies you used ,what was the best learning phase for you.Because it will be a real life time motivation for all newbie’s and best way to follow the footsteps of successful peoples of the platform.

I started my journey back in 2017 where I was a college student looking for an alternative way to earn money online. But after reading hundreds of posts and threads about the nature of cryptocurrencies, I realized that BTC is more than just 'money online.' It is also more than an investment since its possibilities are limitless (e.g. can be exchanged without the need for a third-party handling our transactions). This fact alone makes it so valuable that its price on the market will somehow skyrocket in the following years.

Unfortunately, I realized this potential late as I have generally withdrawn most of my BTCs and converted them to cash from the years 2017-2020 (price of BTC in the market was around $4,000-$30,000).
2476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 23, 2022, 11:50:58 PM
Recently, I was asked by one of my clients to check out which esports betting bitcointalk users are most interested. I wasn't really aware of esports betting much. Because I really don't gamble a lot. Can you please share which esports you used to place bets on? It would be a great helping hand to find out the right one. Client was interested in offering bonus for bitcointalk users.

Before, I mostly bet on esports that I am familiar with and which I play them also regularly. Thus, I usually place bets on CSGO and DOTA 2 since those two games are the ones that I am most comfortable with. With the knowledge that I have gained from playing those games (thousands of hours in Steam), I can say that I have some knowledge and feel to the game that would let me decide on which team would be in favor against another one.

This is also the reason on why I prefer esports betting compared to any other betting due to the knowledge that I have on these games. As someone also who invested countless of hours in the esports atmosphere, it would be relatively easier for me to choose which teams that I would bet on.
2477  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 23, 2022, 11:44:14 PM
Hey, I am wondering is it truly possible that my BTC works for me , without revealing my private keys and also without KYC ?
I have read and heard about similar things but they seem more like a Ponzi scheme.
Does anybody have any experience with a non-custodia platform/wallet /swap which does not require KYC but supports BTC ?

A privacy concerned BTC fan.

Like what most have mentioned, the only thing that I see this from working is if you hire someone who does the trading/investing for you, which I think is risky enough for someone to get scammed. In addition, avoid ponzi-schemes since those kind of business models cannot work in longterm due to their nature of offering significant amount of returns in a short amount of time.

I personally advise you to check your BTCs regularly and the market price. If you plan on HODLing for long-term gains, then the best way is to HODL and currently check the market value depending on your goal. Assuming that you aim for short-term profit, then withdraw them as soon as its price reach above the initial investment you put on.
2478  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your guidance is needed on: January 23, 2022, 04:40:59 PM
What and what to avoid in this crypto world so as not to fucked myself up in every way possible? I need some advice as a beginner and I don't want to mess up pls guide me right, hope I came to the right place

Just like in any investment method, you are duty-bound o do proper research about the cryptocurrency that you are planning on investing on.

Unfortunately, most beginners and newbies think that investing into cryptocurrencies will absolutely guarantee you profit. Remove that kind of mindset and focus on the ultimate goal of supplementing yourself with knowledge about current events that may affect the market price of cryptocurrencies. Bottomline is, avoid investing on something that you have no idea about.

As to scams, better to avoid websites that offer high rates given in a short amount of time. Generally, those are called "ponzi-schemes" that will most likely run away with your investment.
2479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 23, 2022, 03:31:09 PM
Hey guys,
I have created this poll to see what your ideas are in this.
So what do you say, what are the most important features for you in an online crypto casino?
Please choose five, and if you think of something else I haven't covered, please let me know.

Like what I also answered and predicted, customer service is indeed the most essential feature of an online casino that could either make or break the business. Remember that hundreds to thousands of people gamble online and there may be a ton of issues that they face in this kind of setup. Like in any other business also, customer service is the most needed type of service since you will be addressing directly the issues of customers (e.g. payment, account, prohibitions, etc.) while other features are just secondary.

Without any active customer service, the online gambling website would most likely be a recipe for disaster. Like some websites have been facing, they will lose playerbase and the trust that they have developed will slowly deteriorate.
2480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I invested $100 for 18 years for my new born nephew on: January 23, 2022, 02:59:55 PM
What do you think, guys? Will this amount be enough for his better study costs? Though if they keep it for 10 years, at least that's enough for me. What do you think, guys? What will be the price of this $100 after 18 years?
I bought bitcoin at an average price of $35,546,.

This kind of question is relatively hard to answer since no one can literally and absolutely predict the price of BTC in the following years.

But despite that, there are a few factors that you should know- every 3-4 years a fork happens where the denomination of BTCs will be reduced in half. Meaning, forks split BTCs into different networks that usually result to a significant increase in its price. While basing it also primarily on the price history, the price of BTC skyrocketed in the following years. Again, if you really plan on investing long-term, then I highly suggest that you consistently purchase $100 worth of BTCs monthly to maximize your long-term profits.
