341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 11:41:56 AM
Manchester City were just too good in all departments, and Bayern Munich couldn't cope with it the way they were playing. Too many schoolboy errors from Upamecano. Bayern Munich were beaten by their own game. That's both Intensity wise and physically. I expected at least a goal or two from them considering that they’re a goal scoring side. Honestly with the outcome of that game, i don't think there is much to play for in the second leg but never say never when it comes to football.

If you give away free goals like Bayern did yesterday, then obviously you don't really have a chance against a very strong team like Manchester City. In general the performance of Bayern Munich was pretty good though in my opinion. Even Pep Guardiola said, that Bayern was the better team during most phases of the game, but of course that does not help if you are making huge mistakes in the defense.
The first goal of City was a beautiful shot from the distance that was only possible because Rodri was given the space to shoot and obviously the second goal for City was a total gift from Upamecano who suddenly decided to start dribbling in his own box, which was just stupid. Up until the 2-0 happened i think that Bayern was the better team, after the second goal it was over.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 11, 2023, 07:40:14 PM
Few days ago Metamask announced development of new feature with the help of Opensea and Blockaid in order to help people not connect their wallets to known scams and lose all of their money that way. I am sure that people will still lose money this way, but I think that this feature will help to some degree.

That is definitely a very useful feature, even though it obviously only works with addresses and sites that are already confirmed as a scam. Still, a lot of people don't have the time to always stay up to date with the latest news about the new scams and hacks in the crypto space, that are basically happening each and every day. So this feature will definitely protect those people from getting hacked.
In the recent days and weeks i heard from a lot of people that they have switched to other wallets for example rabby wallet, because they are easier to use and more smooth and stuff like that. So it definitely is important that metamask keeps improving in order to not lose their top spot.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 11, 2023, 04:20:12 PM
Who's ready for the big game tonight?
The giant of bundlesliga are full ready to matchup the strength of City in Etihad stadium. Thomas Tuchel knows Pep Guardiola and knows the strategy to implement inother to melt down the pressure of the home team. It's definitely going to be a tough game to witnessed top class action from both sides. Ball possession doesn't matter because city will grab that, it's a specific pattern for them but the Bavarians will haunt you like an average club and with the looks of players, Bayern Munich have an edge over manchester city.

I am looking forward to that match, even though i have to say that i am pretty sad, that this match is already happening in the quarterfinal of this competition because honestly this match up should happen in the final because it features the two strongest teams. The draw decided otherwise so it is what it is. Even though i am a supporter of Bayern Munich i think that ManCity is the favorite in this match up. I would say in general both teams are completely at the same level in terms of quality of the squad but at the moment things are just not going so well at Bayern Munich with the replacement of the coach and also the recent elimination from the german cup.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 11, 2023, 10:26:57 AM
I will prefer to remove freiburg from the list and try to add leverkusen to the list why? the inconsistency of freiburg has been making many people distrust the club to get a spot in UCL. Union berlin and leipzig are going back again on the right track while freiburg is still struggling with its performance. Your focus must be on the leverkusen right now.

I agree with you partially. If i had to pick the 4 teams of the Bundelsiga that will qualify for the Champions League next season then those teams would be Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leizpig and Bayer Leverkusen, because those 4 teams are simply having the strongest squads of the league. I am not so sure though, if Union Berlin can really finish the league on of the top 4 ranks. Just as Freiburg, they are playing way above their expectations in this season so far, but in the last few weeks it was also obvious that they are getting tired now. Both Union and Freiburg have lost their matches on the weekend and if Leverkusen can keep it's momentum, then that 8 point lead of Union does not mean that much, because there are still 21 points to be earned.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hype ends ? on: April 11, 2023, 10:20:36 AM

In the past few weeks, most cryptocurrencies have been doing great: Bitcoin price increasing from below $20,000 to above $28,000, ETH following to increase to the level of above $18,000, same as some other big name altcoins. Even the new listed ARB has enjoyed an ATH around $1.3(if I am not wrong), and Dogecoin price was suddenly reaching an ATH at almost $0.1 after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo as Dogecoin. However, the market correction happened after the little hype endured a short period. What can we conclude from all these market fluctuation ? Until the next bull market comes, is this hype considered over now ? Please let me know your thoughts. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please feel free to contact me should you have any inquiry.

I personally would still say, that the overall market conditions are still positive in the crypto space. I mean for example BTC was going up from around 17k $ per coin to now 30k$ within the last 4 months or so. So i would guess that everyone agrees, that this is a huge positive price movement. At the moment the 30k$ mark is tested, which is a pretty important symbolic barrier. Of course it is also just normal, that the price can not go up 5% every day. There need to be time spans between the pump where the price is going sideways or even going down a bit again, because people are taking profits and selling a bit of their holdings too.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 09, 2023, 10:15:25 AM
A player like Jude Bellingham will definitely attract interest from many other top clubs because of his top performances and brilliant playing style and it is no surprise that PSG are also drawn to him but Liverpool seem to be much more interested in hos signature and are very confident of getting him in the summer. If PSG are willing to compete, they will have to move quick with the best offers to lure him to their side.

I think that PSG will have a pretty hard time to convince good players to join them after this season, with all the stuff that is going on in Paris. This years champions league season has proven again, that PSG is not one of the strongest teams of europe and now it seems very likely that Mbappe will really leave the club after this season. Messi most likely also will not prolong his contract in Paris. PSG always was always defining themself about those 3 huge players. When 2 of them are leaving then there is not much left of a team to brag about and the future of Neymar is also not clear. So i doubt that Bellingham or any other good player will consider to join PSG after this season.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on shikoku inu? on: April 09, 2023, 10:11:57 AM
Does anyone know the token, it looks promising

I have never heard of that coin and i would guess, this is the case for 99,9% of all the crypto users. If i had to take an educated guess, then i would say this is just one out of the 100 of new shit-coins that gets created each and every day and that will be dead again in a few days after it has been launched. Then the "team" behind this token (which is probably just 1 dude). Takes 5 minutes to think of another stupid name and creates the next shitcoin. That's how the shit-coin business works.
I think those project are all stupid and in general harmful for the whole crypto space, but that is just my opinion.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2023, 06:06:18 PM
In the end, the Union Berlin team did not earn any points from the match. Although I am happy with Dortmund's victory in this match. Because Dortmund's performance in this match was much better than Union Berlin's players. They deserve to win this match. After the win in this match, the Dortmund team is now 2 points behind Bayern Munich. If Dortmund had not been badly defeated against Munich, then perhaps the Dortmund team would have been able to hold the top spot in the table. Dortmund is expected to continue their title fight until the end of the season.

Overall i think we can say, that nothing major happened today regarding the fight for the bundesliga title, as both contenders Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have won their games. So Bayern is still ahead with 2 points and of course also the way better goal difference. The match of Bayern vs Freiburg was pretty similar to the one on Tuesday. The only difference was that today Freiburg did not score 2 goals out of 1 chance and Bayern even had a bit of a luck in the first half when Freiburg only hit the post. That being said, the victory of Bayern was totally deserved because they really put on a lot of pressure and in contrast to tuesday they also had 2 or 3 more very big chances to score goals.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: April 08, 2023, 06:02:24 PM
Hello, with Hong Kong looking to lift ban on crypto in a few months June 1st 2023. Could we see huge gains coming from the next bull market from the following coins: Filecoin (FIL), VeChain (VET), Neo (NEO) and Conflux (CFX).
What are your thoughts?

I am not sure yet to be honest. So far i have not seen a chinese coin that completely took off yet. I still remember back in 2017 when NEO was introduced, which is a chinese project if i remember correctly, a lot of people were saying that this will be the next big thing and some kind of chinese Ethereum. It even managed to get into the top 10 in terms of market cap if i am not wrong. At the moment it is ranked on position 60 at coinmarketcap which is still good but of course nowhere near the top 10 anymore.
In general i think that a great chinese project that offers something new and that is also introduced and marketed well has huge potential because the potential chinese user-base is just so huge.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2023, 09:47:06 AM
Bayern vs Dortmund was an interesting match last time but it ended embarrassingly for Dortmund when they were beaten by Bayern with 4 goals.
who would have thought that Bayern could take Dortmund's position at number 1 on the standings and that is in accordance with the previous prediction that Bayern has the opportunity to shift Dortmund from the German league standings.

Well to be honest i think most of the people that know a little bit about the Bundesliga would have guessed that Bayern is the big favorite in the match against Borussia Dortmund because obviously Bayern is by far the best team of the Bundesliga and i would say that the gap between Bayern and Borussia Dortmund in terms of qualitiy of the squad is way higher than for example the gap between Dortmund and Leipzig, maybe Leipzig is even at the same level as Dortmund.
Bayern has a pretty tough game today, as they are playing in Freiburg and everyone knows that Freiburg can defend very well, which they did during this week in the cup already. So it will be very hard to score for Bayern today too i think. So there is a realistic chance, that Dortmund could gain some points back today.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crew3 an effective tool to attract community members ? on: April 08, 2023, 09:43:37 AM
Building a community is never easy and needs a lot of strategy and tools. Recently we find Crew3 interesting to attract potential users to become active community members. We have not started to use this tool immensely but it seems useful for new users to complete tasks to get rewards and become active community members and thus contributors. How many of you have used Crew3 before and is this useful for both project owners and most users ? Please let me know. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please feel free to contact me should you have any inquiry.

Recently i noticed that a lot of crypto projects are now using the crew3 platform to do their giveaways and other stuff and not gleam anymore. So far i only took part in one of those campaigns but everything worked as it should i guess. Also i just found out, that crew3 changed their name to Zealy like two days. Not really sure why this happened but well. I think so far the platform is mostly just used to do airdrops and other stuff so most of it's users are just airdrop hunters that don't really care about how the site looks and so on.
From a company point of view crew3 could be better than gleam because of available statistics and so on.

I don't want to get anyone hopes high but when Frank Lampard first signed for Chelsea there was a transfer ban which restrict the club from buying players so he had to make do with the crop of players available to him. Lampard has inherited a fantastic squad but he has limited time to get to know the players, their individual qualities and to put the team together. It's indeed a daunting task and it would only take a miracle for Chelsea to play in europe next season.

I am not really a Premier League expert but if i remember correctly, than Frank Lampard did not really have a big success so far as a coach not in his first stint as the coach of Chelsea and also not during his stay at FC Everton. So i think that his second stay at Chelsea could be really important for him for his personal development as a coach. If he is again failing at improving the performance of his team now, then maybe his dreams of becoming a big coach of the biggest and best teams of europe could already be over again. So Lampard definitely has a lot to lose now, but of course if he is doing well, then this could also be a huge career boost for him.

Are you already feeling the hype of Arbitrum airdrop? And you feel like you will never miss out on the next upcoming airdrop like Zksync and StarkNet? This warning message is for you.
After the Arbitrum airdrop was a success and many people are claiming their arb tokens some people claimed that they lost all their arbs after claiming them from the official claiming website into their wallet, including a friend of mine, you want to know how it happened? This is how

Thanks for the heads-up OP. I am sure that it will save at least a few people from losing their funds and being victim of a scam. It is very sad that stuff like that happens but it is totally not a surprise for me, as this is just how humans are, they are taking personal advantage out of everything. To that whole airdrop farming hype that is happening at the moment in general: I think that this trend will slowly but surely slow down again, because obviously now that the Arbitrum airdrop brought a lot of money to a lot of people. A lot of new airdrop hunters are now active and this can not go well in the long run. The more people there are farming those airdrops, the smaller the amount of money will be that everyone gets.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 07, 2023, 04:08:44 PM
I also make Dortmund the favorite to win tomorrow's game and that apart from the home game for Dortmund. Because Dortmund also don't want to experience defeat at home and have to go down in position if they ever lose the game. Obviously Dortmund will try hard in tomorrow's match and yes will try to score more goals against Union Berlin although Union Berlin itself will also do the same because considering they can get second place if they can win in tomorrow's match.

Obviously Dortmund is the favorite in the match tomorrow against Union Berlin. They simply have the stronger squad overall in my opinion. That being said, i think the chances of Union Berlin to win, or at least get a draw are not that slim. The big run of consecutive wins of Dortmund is over since the last weekend and they have also lost the spot on the top of the table again. Then they also lost on wednesday against Leipzig and they have shown a very disappointing performance there.
So i think it is very much possible, that Dortmund's momentum and confidence is now not at the same level anymore as it was two weeks ago or so.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The sandbox/Decentraland will fail or succeed in 3 years? on: April 07, 2023, 04:05:20 PM
The sandbox/Decentraland will fail or succeed in 3 years? new all time highs or faliure what do you think?

Both of those coins are doing pretty ok at the moment for my standards. Both of them are trading of around 1/10 of the price which they had during the big bull market of 2 years ago. If you compare those numbers, with the ones even from bigger projects then they have not lost that dramatically in price because others are down even more.
If they can reach their ATH again or even reach new way higher ATH's i can not say, because the crypto market is still very much driven by hype and trends. Back then the metaverse was one of the biggest hype topics. I doubt that, this will still be the case in 2 or 3 years, but i would guess that those 2 projects are already to big to fail and will at least pump with the overall market when a bullrun comes.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What makes Binance stay strong despite all FUD ? on: April 06, 2023, 08:53:23 PM
There is nothing short of FUDs in the crypto market especially for big names such as Binance.  Recently there are so many accusations about Binance and even the U.S Senator has inquired. According to Binance's response https://www.binance.com/en/blog/ecosystem/binance-shares-its-recent-response-to-us-senators-inquiry-1968152125579137703 , there are some public misconceptions about Binance and the team had already clarified. When I read the news, the first thing came to my mind was that BNB price was doomed to decrease dramatically. However, Binance US's weekly trading volume reached 41% of Coinbase's (global) trading volume last week, which is an ATH. (Source:https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1641728341962096641). At the same time, BNB price is still around $320, showing very little volatility. What makes Binance so strong faced with so many unfavorable conditions ? Please share your opinions.

Binance has become a huge company now that pretty much everyone knows that is interested into cryptos. Therefore it is not really a surprise, that Binance is more and more in the focus of attacks from all possible directions. Influencers that are spreading ridiculous rumors and of course also legal issues that are forced upon them from the authorities. To be honest i also expected that the BNB price would drop sharply when i read that news about those investigations but somehow the price of BNB stayed almost at the same level.
This just proves again, that crypto is just to big now, that one news would make it pump or dump in a meaningful way. We are not in 2017 anymore.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 06, 2023, 08:46:54 PM
I don't think it's will be very hard for Chelsea to beat Madrid. Chelsea's current position is not very good, the change of the coach will greatly affect the game. Chelsea players must adapt to the new coach's style, and sometimes this is not necessarily going well. Indeed, motivation can beat everything, but Madrid players also has motivation to add their collection of UCL trophies even though they have become king of UCL with the most winners.

I think the chances of FC Chelsea to beat Real Madrid and to advance into the semi final of the Champions League are significantly higher than most people think. First off all Chelsea still has a good squad and even though they have a pretty bad run in the premier league at the moment, the champions league simply is a totally different competition and every player will go all out in such matches.
Secondly i think that Real Madrid is not really that strong. For me clubs like Manchester City or Bayern Munich are way stronger than Real at the moment. So it is not like Chelsea is facing an unbeatable opponent here. Of course Real also was not the favorite to win it last year, so that does not necessarily mean that much.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 06, 2023, 04:28:10 PM
Sometimes I feel Todd Boellhy doesn't look into past records before deciding on people to take over Chelsea's managerial affairs. I think he wants to pay more money on terminated contracts. I know vividly well that he's the significant brain behind Frank Lampard's new contract as chelsea supervisory coach.  Lampard may do well during these few periods but his success story may not last in the next season if peradventure his performance in this short period is convincing enough to give him a permanent contract. Chelsea as an elite club needs experienced coaches not the likes of Frank Lampard.

To be honest i have never heard of Todd Boellhy before he took over FC Chelsea from Abramovich. For me he seems like the typical american, that does not really have a clue about football (or soccer for americans) but still wanted to own a big sports team outside the United States. He already own big parts of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the LA Lakers. You can say about Roman Abramovich what you want, but i think he probably was the best and most patient of all those oligarchs, sheikhs and other billionaires that are buying big sports club as their toys.
To fire Thomas Tuchel was probably the biggest mistake that was even possible. He fired a coach that took over a team that was completely down and then he made them win the Champions League.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: they change the way we handle money and own things ? on: April 06, 2023, 04:21:57 PM
as decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and non fungible tokens (NFTs) become more popular, will they change the way we handle money and own things,

or will they only be used by a small group of people(like now being used) ?

I think that Defi is one of the biggest inventions of the crypto space that has ever happened, together with Ethereum and the introduction of smart contracts, which made stuff like Defi, Dexes, yield farming and all the other stuff possible to begin with. With Defi you always have the full control over your funds because you are in control of the key of your wallet all the time. The only thing that can happen is that the project where you are having your yield farm is making a rug pull or is hacked or something. You don't have that kind of risk when you put your money in a traditional bank, that is also part of the truth.
I think that Defi nowadays is already used by hundred thousands of people so in my personal definition, that is not a small group of people, but of course it is also not the broad masses.

BREAKING: Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have sent out a bid of €400 million/year for the greatest player of all time, Lionel Messi.
Messi's priority right now is to stay in Europe. Barcelona are waiting on FFP issues before sending out a contract offer for Messi.
With Messi coming to the Arab League, this is very interesting, many are looking forward to them, Ronaldo vs Messi will compete again.

If that number is really true, then this is just crazy and would just be completely out of proportion. If i remember correctly, then Cristiano Ronaldo gets around 200 M€ per season so this would be double than that. Those numbers are just totally insane and nowhere near a reasonable salary for a footballer. I mean Messi is a great player but, he is also just 1 player and a team won't be successful just because they have 1 great player.
If those team really is willing to spend 400 M€ per year on salaries, then they should use that amount and split it to 15 other players. You would get a full team of absolute world class players for that amount.
Truth is though, the best players don't want to play in the saudi league because it is a completely irrelevant league. That is why they are going for those players that have a huge name but are old already.
Even if Messi would accept this offer, the league would still be irrelevant.
