3821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safety measures in case of huge profit on: January 27, 2017, 11:24:09 AM
Hey guys, quite new to this cryptocurrency thing.
How should I proceed if i ever manage to have high profits in BTC, lets say 30BTC, and i want to convert it back to Euros.
What do you guys think is the best way to do it and active/passive safety measures should one take at all times.

Thanks! Sorry if kinda messy questions

Several ways to go about it of which the most important is understanding the financial environment of your locality which to the best of my knowledge since its Euro it wont be palatable to move that amount of money. But I would say that you should try move it in bits and not be carried away by moving it once because doing so might attract unnecessary attention which is important for you to avoid at this point as the issue that might generate might be more than what you can handle.
3822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if the bitcoin developer team breaks down? on: January 27, 2017, 11:15:36 AM
One of the biggest factors that keep Bitcoin alive is the development team behind it. What if this developer team breaks down? Are there any other people who can continue the project in technical terms?

In my own opinion, if the teams break down which means someone else who is not part of the team to take over will be very difficult because for another developer to take over another project in which he is never part of means tearing down the project and start all over again and thats why when the developer is no where to be found before the projects gets to maturity stage, then its going down and no two ways about it.
3823  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why do so many people hate Coinbase? on: January 27, 2017, 10:44:43 AM
Because it's their customer support is poor. They can't afford enough customer service or something. They've always seemed to have difficulty working on the tickets they get.

And that is major thing people dont actually hate Coinbase, its their services that is being hated. One thing that is being paramount in the soul of business is never for whatever reason lose touch with the clients because the moment that is happening, then that is the beginning of the end and immediately this is happening and nothing is being done or what is being done is not enough to arrest the declining situation.
3824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As it turns out, Craig Wright actually is Satoshi! on: January 27, 2017, 10:13:49 AM
Going through the articles I can but not say that its total gibberish and nothing else without any basis. Just a situation of picking dots from a situation and turning that into an article in other to generate quite a number of clicks on their site. I really want to know what changes for Satoshi to now come out at this time, its not even sure if he will be present in the conference either way, we will be waiting for another article that will give us the outcome.
3825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Trump on: January 27, 2017, 09:28:56 AM
Will Trump and Bitcoin be Good Partners

The only asset to thrive in the aftermath of Trump’s win was Bitcoin, strengthening its status as the modern day safe haven.
BITCOIN and TRUMP

Friends or Foes? Huh

How many times will this issue be addressed because this has been dealt with several times even on this forum. On another way what is the relationship between Trump and bitcoin and even as at now, I believe Trump has alot of issues to battle with rather than bothering himself on the issue of bitcoin. Let him first handle the backlash from his decisions for the past few days before knowing what is next to handle.
3826  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC5 Loan Needed Urgently on: January 27, 2017, 09:24:20 AM
This guy must be a joker does he thinks 5btc is 5 dollars I cannot just stop laughing at this. When one even wants to post in a particular section of the forum, courtesy demands a thorough understanding of how things are done over there. Its even surprising to see some one who will just open an account for the sole purpose of asking for loans and now you have gotten yourself the negative trust which might take time to get off.
3827  Economy / Services / Re: Creating Gambling developer team. Who want to join? on: January 27, 2017, 08:47:03 AM
Have you heard about peerbet.org?

I can help you with designing, but not completely free of charge.  Smiley

Lol... but he said free of charge but OP you need to still get the fact that there is no way that project will fly with zero funds and everybody will workl completely free of charge as everybody that will be needed cannot be part of the team for example for someone who will do research about the legality  of where to host, or agreement to sign, or even the enabling law and licences to obtain, it cost money which will only be provided with requisite knowledge who might not be interested in being part of the team.
3828  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think in the future on DONALD TRUMP in his term of presidency ? on: January 26, 2017, 01:33:42 PM
The future of the Donald I say is a long way because when one is really in that posts you get a wider picture of things and miggh have to take decisions that even negate your own personal belief and your campaign promises. The outcome of that will be that the same people that hail you yesterday might turn around to stone you if they have their way so I say lets wait till the next 4 years if the future will still be bright for Trump or not.
3829  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All politics is bullshit, just a sideshow or distraction on: January 26, 2017, 01:08:22 PM
Stupid and.or psychopaths running the system it is bad to see this happening and none of the political bullshit being discussed matters as it is just a sideshow. They do everything they can to distract us from reality.

And that is  exactly why they are voted into office in countries that practiced democracy and where votes actually count. Most times, politicians will never tell the citizens the truth but only what they want to hear and thats it because the reality which is the truth that you are clamoring for here hurts and most times its either people dont want to hear or it will do more harm than good in saying it.

So, even you, you are not sure of not doing the same thing because when you get to that position you will understand that its totally a different ball game and nothing else.
3830  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: My bank account was frozen due to suspicious activity on my account on: January 26, 2017, 01:00:10 PM
Its actually you I will blame because if you want to engage in any financial transaction in anywhere then you should first understand the nature of the laws around there and how they trace transactions. From the way I see it. its obvious you are from a developed country where there are strict rules concerning movement of money. I guess you only have to wait for the outcome and from there you plan for what to do next.
3831  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorsit new Strategy on: January 26, 2017, 12:35:15 PM
It seems terrorism has adopted a new strategy of driving trucks at a populated area. What do you think about that.

Its so unfortunate that terrorists will stoop so low to now start targeting soft locations of innocent citizens simply because they want to send a message that the government they are sending it to does not care about who they are using as prey. Yet they convince themselves that those innocent souls are also infidels. I just hope one can just be in gathering of loved ones in peace and not looking over ones shoulder every time a truck is approaching your location.
3832  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GOODBYE OBAMA ! on: January 26, 2017, 11:28:46 AM
There is nothing more biased than History!
An example? Charlemagne is an important sovereign of Europe in the first millenia. Well he's remembered as a wise emperor, who united entire nations and invented things like school.

In reality he was a barbarian who "united" nations by simply burning alive those who refused to become Christians.
He burned down entire villages...

But no, now he's the wise Emperor and Christianity is peace and Islam is all violence as a religion xD

Yes history could be biased I admit but at the same time history has been a judge to many people. In the past, Abraham Lincoln who was adjudged to be the best President America ever had has as at the time he was reigning would have been the worst person in the mind of people that he was even shot by a civilian but over the years history absolves him and everyone at a point might just agree that Obama should be honored and no one will say he didnt do enough the same thing might be applied to Trump as well.

I also tried accessing the site just now and its going on fine from my end. With the popularity this project is amassing over the past few days, I want to be optimistic that it will be successful and the developers will not just abandon the whole thing immediately after the ICO since that us something that is common around here and this is what the people who are criticising are using as a benchmark to judge every development that is coming into  ALts section of the crypto-world.
3834  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GOODBYE OBAMA ! on: January 26, 2017, 09:50:52 AM
No matter how hard he has tried and even sweat blood for Americans he will always be judged by some people because there will always be two sides to a decision. But the fact still remains that he has done his part and has left the position for the person coming in. The only right just for his performance will be posterity and history will be the unbiased umpire that will decide whether he be honoured or dammed for his role in Ameriacan politics.
3835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: January 26, 2017, 09:46:24 AM
I went for I dont care because I know that being bad is not a function of religion or race or any general thing as we have had cases of people who are bad cut across all climes of society. I will only judge and relate with you on the basis of your individual character and nothing else whether you are a Muslim, Christian, Pagan, Atheist etc... is of less concern to me.
3836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 25, 2017, 01:27:39 PM
Countries have different ways in which they are being governed and they also have ways in which they make their laws at the same time how developed and ready to new way of life. It is no longer a fallacy that bitcoin is bringing new things to the way we see money and to some countries this is coming as a challenge to them whether to accept this new way of doing things or not. So, I guess until each and every country is now able to answer whether this technology will be at an advantage or not, then they will decide but it will definitely take time.
3837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 25, 2017, 01:13:02 PM
Yes bitcoin can prevent crime from the way I see it, bitcoin provides a way to earn some decent income legitimately for quite a number of people even on this forum alone is enough compared to other forums as well. we have had coders and IT experts coming here to earn something in which case they would have engaged in something else if this is not provided for them which there is possibility that it might be illegal. So, whether we like it or not, that counts and it means less people engaging in criminal activities.
3838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: impact of bitcoin on your daily life/business? on: January 25, 2017, 11:23:52 AM
Without being economical with the truth, the impact bitcoin have in my own daily life which I know its common to quite a number of poeople on this forum as well. In my own case, it has been able to provide for me an opportunity to earn a passive income without affecting my daily work as well and also earn a decent amount on a weekly basis. In all the impact to me cannot be over emphasized.
3839  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Indonesia Flooded with ilegal worker from China on: January 25, 2017, 09:51:42 AM
There are a lot of Indonesian people who are unemployed. However, Free Visa for tourists coming to Indonesia has caused documents abused. The tourists not only visit indonesia but also work. This an irony. Indonesia now is facing complect political issue of sectarian. Oh Indonesia, I hope You can overcome all the problems.

This problem is not only in Indonesia but in other countries as well and its a serious problem to every sane government who wants to protect its own citizen because this will continue to create loss of revenue to government, when there issue of massive capital flight which will further lead to loss of development of the real sector. I hope the government in that area can go the way of Uk in which the interest of its citizen is paramount in her heart.
3840  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: January 25, 2017, 09:27:47 AM
I guess we never know what we are capable of until we find ourselves in such scenario. It is a despicable situation to be in a position of whether to eat a fellow human being or die. Even in other parts of the world in which I dont have evidence to back, you dont even know the type of meat one will be eating whether its eve human or animal. But the issue is we only pray not to find ourselves in such situation and that really what matter.
