I see it as them not following the crowd because the price of Btc on a particular exchange is determined based on the forces of demand and supply and they cannot just go ahead and fix the price with the necessary sell or buy order to support it. If they do, then we can also accuse them of manipulating the market. Another way to look at it is the part that they are being prudent in taking the back seat in other to be protected in case anything happen. Also it gives room for more people to patronise them in other to cash-in on the arbitrage.

Brace up for the regulation is coming and when it finally does, its going to defeat the anonymity Bitcoin professes. Even without this coming to effect yet I have seen exchange sites hiding under the KYCs to even ask for your blood group before allowing one to trade then what are we saying. Its coming and I see government using recent happenings as a reason to have their way.

I guess our campaign sheets will have direct bitcoin based calculations rather than just in number or in USD value. I just see this is a pre-step from this software giant to embrace cryptocurrency giant for adding up again the bitcoin payment option in their online stores. You can find more from the microsoft's roadmap on excel development here : http://fasttrack.microsoft.com/roadmap#I-62159Wow, this is really cool and I would definitely want to see how it will play out because the simplicity of Google signature campaign sheets is cool already, I would really want to know how simpler this will offer. Excel on its own is already a robust package used all over the finance industry. I am sure with this new feature coming into the finance industry, more popularity will be brought into Bitcoin.

I think the issue if Bitcoin not taxed is being over exaggerated and needs proper explanation to get it that Bitcoin is totally immune from taxes. The only scenerio we will have that as OP has painted is if the seller of the penthouse is ready to accept Bitcoin and nothing else. Also, there is need to also say that a particular income can be exposed to several type of tax and it can be only one using Bitcoin one can be able to avoid.

Circle unveiled itself at a bitcoin conference in 2014, vowing to take the digital currency mainstream. But like so many other startups that embraced this big idea at around the same time, its mission has changed. In January, I met Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire for coffee in San Francisco. Even then, he was careful to paint his company not as a bitcoin operation but as an outfit that would help people easily trade good old-fashioned dollars with friends and family via a new smartphone app. And now, as it announced yesterday, Circle will no longer allow customers to buy and sell bitcoin. "READ MORE FROM LINK BELOW" News Source: https://www.wired.com/2016/12/future-bitcoin-not-digital-currency/What do you guys think ? I certainly think bitcoin will become the digital currency in future and this article is BS. However, I'm no bitcoin expert. What do you guys think about this ? Will it become the digital currency in future ? Whatever Circle is having or believing, they are entitled to it. They know what they saw when they went in all for Bitcoin and now, they are saying they are leaving who am I to say No to them or castigate the position they are choosing? All I know is that they cannot remove the fact that Bitcoin serving as a digital currency contributed to a large extent to the popularity it enjoys today. No more no less.

I have .007 bitcoins during rise and its a very small amount of bitcoins i know But im starting to save some bitcoins right now based on my prediction starting from now price of bitcoins will increase continously. I actually wished I had come into Bitcoin earlier and I have gathered enough during this time because following what is happening now, its still a period of rise and I am hoping its been kept at that for my sake. For me, I have gathered at most 0.1btc over the last few months I have found my way into this world and couldnt have asked for more.

Why would anyone want to short when it is obvious that it is going to up from the beginning of the year? That is a no brainer because that's what it does every year then it goes down in February or mid-month here after. Come on now, some people especially when trading volume so high should use their brains. I woudnt blame them for thinking in that direction and it just went the other way around now. Its a risk a versatile trader will take going the opposite direction of the masses and this could mean gold mine. That pattern will die as soon as enough people notice it. People will start buying in December and sell it in January to take advantage of the price increase. When that happens, the price will start falling in January.
This is something I have heard over and over and its actually a possibility going through historical analysis of events surrounding Bitcoin. However, the past sometimes might not be a perfect determination of the future as several events might have happened to negate what happened in the past.

Going back on 2016 i didnt achieve my goals yet and cant say anything about it since im here on bitcoin world for 2 years only and didnt do much thing but somehow i made still some profits but not too big and my aims is having 5 bitcoin ending on this year but i end up not reaching even 1 bitcoin I even came later than you just few months to the end of the year 2016 so I coudnt even achieve much but I am hoping to make this year a financial breakthrough with the source coming from Bitcoin in a legitimate way. Even with the few months I find my way into Bitcoin, I had projected how its going to look like at the end of the year but alas it was not as simple as that and I reach far below of what I had earlier projected.

That's the primary reason why I think the Big Rip of Bitcoin is not only theoretically possible but may be a likely event in the future. If people are firmly set to hold their bitcoins (which seems to be the case if we follow the price lead), this will lead to an ever diminishing number of bitcoins actually traded or used in monetary circulation (i.e. as a currency). Say, today only a few million bitcoins are traded (I don't really know what percentage is traded nowadays, so everyone is welcome to chime in on this), tomorrow only a few hundred thousands until a moment where there is no single Bitcoin present on all exchanges collectively, with millionth parts of satoshi being sold and bought...
If someone decides to cash out eventually, his stash (a minor black hole of sorts) will get quickly torn apart by millions of hands
Based on your analysis in which I must commend which is based on fact and even from the look of it and the trend we are facing as at today, I say it is possible. However, based on the assumption forwarded which is the continuous increase in the price of Bitcoin, then a see much more value placed on 1 satoshi. On the other hand, no one can say that the increase in price will be forever sustained as there are factors that could mitigate against that happening among which include but not limited to a big hacking, government regulations etc... With this happening, then every of the projections will crumble.

At last! Happy new year!
This is really a great news and great gift at that for the new year for lovers of Bitcoin and for those who have predicted in this direction. And since we are starting the new year with this I must say this is the only gift I am rejoicing about now and hopefully very soon it will gets across all other exchange sites and above all I wish we all keep at that level or higher. Happy new year every one.

I believe in God with the letter "G" simply because of the fact that there are things that cannot be explained or that have been explained and I am not convinced to not believe God over. All through human evolution and development especially in the world of Science they have tried to provide explanations to events in which people of the past believe were supernatural and by so they believed in God but today quite a number of explanations have been given but still some still make my believe in God stronger that there is truly a supernatural...

Buying drugs with the bitcoin is for sure possible without any doubts, you can do it easily on the deepweb with the bitcoin these days.
Wow, I didnt know this is possible but I have questions is the drug being referred to here are medicines or hard drugs? Also I will want to know if I eventually buy one lets assume its medicine, how do I get it in the sense that how will it be shipped to me without having to face governments restrictions at the port of entry because of the tight policies against medicines over here.

Seeing the post, I dont see government losing any battle especially when it comes to financial matters what I see is purely a setback in which they will go back to the drawing board and re-strategize because its government and that is what they do. We have given them the power to regulate us and they wont be stingy about using that power even if it means to our dis-advantage.

Why should I bother myself with who controls Bitcoin when the total of the Bitcoin I have is not even up to 1 btc that I have garnered. Even people who have more than me does not even bother themselves why me? But that will not be the case if I have upto like 100btcs with that I know that will be a lot of my wealth tied down I will want to know as a result of that but for now, its basically the function of demand and supply that controls Bitcoin.

Paper ballots are the answer. Unless you go full crypto. But they won't do the latter.
Ballot paper will be 100 steps backward after the initial steps forward. I would still go the way of cryto but the issue is will people trust the software because that is what will make the procedure worthwhile. Paper ballot over here has been characterized with several drawbacks among which include snatching, mass thumb printing, maxi-voting etc.

When alot of people will want to leave the third world country to come over there by all means just because there is a more functional government responsive to the citizens need better than theirs which politics cannot be eliminated from that what youre running from but thats your choice and if you are ready to face insecurity, kidnapping, high-level corruption, power failure etc. at the expense of politics then you are most welcome to join the party.

Every decision we take in our daily life is gambling as we are not sure of the of the outcome of such decision just a level of certainty. I agree that its gambling in the sense that every religion believes its own way is the right way to go and its either one of us is wrong, or we are both wrong but for those of us who are religious, I believe we dont have the answers to everything thereby we live by Faith that our course of action is the right way to go.

I love the argument back with facts from even the Bible and are even relevant to what is being discussed including other point of reference provided by OP. In as much as I respect that opinion and not doing this to change your mind, but I think you faulted in some passages of the Bible that you made reference to as you only picked a verse and not what was was going on at that point in time when the verse was related to.Doing this, will give a better understanding of why a particular statement was made whether by God or by someone giving the account of events.
