4181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling worth playing? on: October 13, 2016, 05:56:42 AM
Gambling is worth playing depending on your outcome. Your outcome depends on your skills and luck. If you win money, of course you'd say that gambling was worth playing. Otherwise, you'd say that you just wasted your time and burnt your money. Anyway, even if you lose some money out of gambling, it can still be a good thing because it can serve as a learning experience for you. At least you've tried gambling once and learned that it doesn't do any good to you.

I would also add that it worth playing if you're ready to take the risk because that's what it is about but if you're not ready to take the risk and you're about winning alone? I say don't even bother to go near it because you will get frustrated especially those ones that depends heavily on skills or experience in other to make headway in it.
4182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 13, 2016, 05:36:42 AM
Most people will lose at gambling if they run it for a long time. But, most people didnt realize it. When someone lost a bunch and they keep gambling and suddently have some good profit, they will forget about they previous lost although they profit in fact cant cover all the previous lost.

The long run is actually different for people in the sense that my own long run will be someone else short run but why everyone losses or most people losses is not knowing the right time to stop playing because i believe when people invested time on an activity, mastery sets in which is the long run part but nit knowing when to stop leads to losses which eventually validates op's position.
4183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: October 13, 2016, 05:11:28 AM
To me how greedy you are will determine how much loss you make or how much more profit or winnings one would make. One could be greedy for winnings then end up losing. I lost quite an amount although small in value but much more in the effort to acquire that much in value because I became greedy and wanted to multiply winnings and boom lost a shit of money and effort which is really discouraging.
4184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: October 12, 2016, 08:32:09 PM
For girls gambling is not a problem, I also do gamble and it is only for entertainment. I do not gamble because of any greed of earning big money and because of becoming rich. But only for entertainment.

In this part of the world where I come from, I have seen women, ladies, or girrls do so many things originally meant or by convention meant for male counterparts from engineering to mechanic to chairperson, to CEOs, to carpenters among other things without leaving the social vices part out of it. So I won't be surprised if I see a lady gambling because the originator of gambling never made it gender sensitive.
4185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone converted 0.0698 BTC to 1.1168 BTC !!! on: October 12, 2016, 08:15:09 PM
Congrats on your winnings but winning in this kind of gambling defies all forms of skill as even by playing the chance of winning is 1/16 couple with losing at the remaining 15/16 so basically from my point of view I win want to agree that winning here is just purely based on luck and nothing else in totality and for op to have won against all the enormous odds then it Worth's congratulating.
4186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: October 12, 2016, 07:59:48 PM
I don't see gambling just in perspective of making money only. There are other thing which can be seen in it. As of money I also have wasted lot of money in gambling so far. I have gained experience in change or I can say I paid for this process of experiencing. Gambling has cleared many imaginary thoughts and I see good effects overall on my life as whole.

Gambling to me should not be seen as a do or die affair in that so far you are not rich from it then you should definitely be poor from gambling. I think that will be the case if I put my entire savings of my life on that venture to arrive in either of the two positions which I won't do and won't expect a sane individual to do same as well then we wont have issue of being fixed or wrecked by gambling because we won't put ourselves in a position like that as a result of gambling.
4187  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you already become a USD millionaire through Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2016, 07:51:47 PM
No, I have not, though I have made pretty nice amount of money since I was there for a long time.

I am still waiting till that day when I could actually make that amount of money because that's basically everyone goal me inclusive to really make money. Although I am not there yet but hopefully with hardwork, commitment and determination I can get to make that money one day and through Bitcoin so I have something to be thankful for coming this path.
4188  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: October 12, 2016, 06:24:24 PM
Although over here gun is being controlled as you don't just go about flaunting one even though you manage to get one. In as much that there are advantages of having one to yourself maybe for protection, I think for countries where there is liberation of having gun, government should really step up the game in controlling the output of how this guns gets out because we have read cases of gun violence all over the place and this has been worrying among other factors.
4189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: October 12, 2016, 06:16:01 PM
It maybe the Ethereum has a good advertising they made and they established big community also in crypto world. But it doesn't mean it can be   the future of crypto. Ethereum is very far from bitcoin, and they are not the same too, when it comes to popularity and stability bitcoin is the one who is leading not the ethereum.

I would say its a matter of opinion and whatever you or me believes it does not change the position of which crypto belongs to the future and there is nothing we can both do about it. The same way your believe is towards Ethereum, the same way the proponents of Doge coin, or Monero or Crowncoin or millions of other Alts out there. I say let us all wait for the future and the future will decide for itself.
4190  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you help with bitcoin? on: October 12, 2016, 05:06:47 PM
I must say that I think that by investing you are already helping the bitcoin right now, of course its your own decision to do this but I think that is already enough.
What you also can do to help and what I also do is spreading the word about the bitcoin.

Buying bitcoin is one aspect of help the bitcoin. You should also use the bitcoin to make it more useful.

This is something I have actually be giving a lot of thoughts lately because seeing people over here making a lot of effort just to earn what they would have earned with less effort and time even on this forum is something that picks me to take action. But the challenge I will have is to really change the conception of people around me about it because to them its "underworld currency" so I am trying to organize a forum where i can really teach them and correct the misconception but I am starting with my friend first then we move from there to a larger platform.
4191  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people here don't really care about BTC? on: October 12, 2016, 04:59:05 PM
Those who are in bitcoin world will love bitcoin and they will definitely love bitcoin. myself in bitcoin world  really love this technology and i really care about it.

I want to believe everyone here is here with the motive of adding value one way or the other and also to be compensated for it no matter how small. So even if you don't care about BTC, it is the language here and there is nothing you can do about it so you just have to care about BItcoin earn it then convert it to whatever currency or means you want or you really care about but the fact still remains that we all care about BTc
4192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future on: October 12, 2016, 04:38:31 PM
Is bitcoin a future proof currency?
There is no proof of the future of the Bitcoin being good but I believe in Bitcoin so I think that Bitcoin is only going to become bigger later on.
Bitcoin is already doing good right now so with in a couple of years it will improve.
There will not be any need of any new proof other than what bitcoin had achived in the past. Usually, all things are speculated based on past performance. Bitcoin is having very good track of growth in last ~6 years. Hopefully bitcoin will repeat those growth again, so we can believe into bitcoin that it will have very good future.

There is nothing whatsoever that does not have a future, inclusive of bitcoin but he funny thing is that no one knows the future for certain as we can only make predictions by holding some factors constant and in the real sense, all factors cannot be held constant. So in the foregoing, I would also make the prediction of what I see about bitcoin which is more acceptance at the same time more regulations, in addition to increase in the value from today.
4193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was bitcoin designed to be global? on: October 12, 2016, 04:12:41 PM
I think bitcoin was designed to be global.

Bitcoin to me wouldn't have been thought of to be a major currency as early as this. With the statistics of about 21million BTC all over the world, then I really would want to know how its going to go round. I also think that, the limitation in the abundance is also a factor that makes it a sought after in the crypto world. In conclusion, it was intended for it to be global originally but not this early.

4195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: October 12, 2016, 09:41:06 AM
Gambling does not matter experience, it does really on luck.
In gambling its a risk, you might gonna lose some you might
gonna win some. It really does not needs a strategy to win the
game.

I will want to disagree with your position that winning in gambling is solely on luck in which we all know that its based on chance which relies mostly on probability. In addition to that, gambling to me relies so much on experience at least in the longrun although not eradicating losses finally, but reducing the chances of losing.

Another situation where experience is necessary in gambling is in the area of specific games such as cards or poker or blackjack etc but I agree it will be of less relevance in games like dice or High and Lo.
4196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a unexpected amount with a small amount ? on: October 11, 2016, 05:47:22 PM
How I wish that would just happen one day and boom, I won but still waiting till when that will happen but I know the chances of that happening is really low and the chances of losing is high which most times the amount one puts in is likely to be proportionate to whatever one will receive. Especially the high and lo part of gambling.

You were gambling on one website and wager with a small amount  . And BANG, you won an unexpected amount in some couple of bets only. If these happen with you,  please share it here.

4197  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: October 11, 2016, 02:35:44 PM
I don't know whether bitcoin will show its presence even after 20 years or not, so till its alive I will prefer to collect as much as I can and also will spend when price has reached to my expected level.

This is something I haven't given much of a thought even though I would love it get to that level I would actually wished to have enough that I can really sell and make a lot of fortune in which I am sure of would have increased on the high side. I would want to be like the 17 year old boy story I read whether true or not who invested like $17 in 2009 and made a lot of fortune some years down the line. with amount close to a million dollars.
4198  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for forum posters up to 0.0002BTC per post on: October 10, 2016, 06:03:50 PM
For a new bitcoin forum, I am looking for posters with reasonable writing skill in English. Escrow welcome.
Not a big earner, you may earn 0.002BTC to 0.004BTC daily. Post here if you are interested.

I will be interested in your offer and deliver if only you can just do well to clarify my confusion in the sense that the Title of the thread is saying 0.0002 btc while the content is saying 0.002 btc which means by my calculation, I can get 200000 satoshis if I make 10 posts in your forum or the minimums is the 0.002btc. Pardon my curiosity, I only need to be clear.
4199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: October 10, 2016, 04:33:56 PM
That will really be hard to decide in my own opinion because i actually want to really get how Bitcoin will really help them, is it by giving developmental projects or by ensuring hitch free election or maybe by curbing corruption or by ensuring speedy delivery of judgments, or maybe its the provision of jobs to the ever increasing population these and many other things are the help that poor countries actually need. However, I see Bitcoin liberating people to make extra income but on the individual level.
4200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: October 10, 2016, 04:25:52 PM
My own opinion on this issue would be that to correct your impression that maybe something is wrong with you or maybe youre not lucky. I will say its just chance and that's why its gambling because its not a respecter of number of tries or mistries. So I would say gambling is not meant for everyone and no matter how they try, they cant just win maybe you fall in that category and just move on to other types of gambling may chance will be on your side.
