421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: February 29, 2024, 07:31:05 PM
It is hard to change people's mind if it's about gambling. Those that have been believing that it's a way to make money but they don't gamble at all, it's like you're arguing to a kid over a cotton candy and that kid won't allow you to win the argument. And you as the person against that kid, you won't also allow that kid to dictate what you wanna do. With this, it's better to understand the point of everyone on why they think they're right and the belief that they're set on. While us, we know the hard reality about this and we have to understand every person that's dealing with this kind of thing.

If someone wants to have fun, for sure that it's not just all about having fun but also making him/her some money as they gamble. Nobody wants to go home with nothing as they gamble and that's how our minds are being tricked when we're losing. We think that we can go over for more games and survive another set of disasters of losing. But in the end, the chance of losing is higher than ever so regardless of everyone's reason, as long as you're not giving hassle to somebody, you're not taking loans to gamble, you're not selling stuff and not doing anything stupid just for you to gamble, I think that's the most important thing to remember here.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does it feel to be Balls Deep in altcoin, when only bitcoin is rising? on: February 29, 2024, 11:29:23 AM
How do you feel being balls deep in altcoin investment, when bitcoin alone is rising?
I don't have much in alts but if I am that one that have balls deep in altcoins and never invested in Bitcoin, I'd definitely feel terrible that after all of the advises that I've heard and being said to me to keep on buying bitcoin when it was low and I have never obliged myself to follow. It's my problem when the surge is only happening currently to Bitcoin but then, the altcoins are going to follow the trend and that's for sure.

Do you feel like selling your alts and fomoing into bitcoin, or do you just hold, patiently waiting, believing that alt time to rise will come?
HODL and wait patiently. If you're believing on the altcoin that you're holding, you're not going to FOMO. Because that's how you've invested but it can't also be help if there are some change of plans that happens during these times that you see that the price of Bitcoin goes up. You just want to sell all of those altcoins of yours and use them to buy Bitcoin. If that happens, that's also fine as long as you know what you're doing and it is your money that's being played around in the market.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 29, 2024, 06:45:42 AM
Well, I think it's just a coincidence. Because if so, and working in your case them why not bet small so you can win consistently, right? Just like in martingale strategy, if you increase your wager after loss, your mindset is recovering the losses quick by doing this strategy. But is it really working? No. Because there's no such consistent winning since losing is also inevitable.

Gambling is unpredictable, you can win or lose base on your luck. Therefore, regardless of how much you wager, if you're not lucky then you can't win.
It is a coincidence that happens to everyone. When we bet big, there are times that it's not going to hit big just as what we think it should be. That's why I agree that a gambler should just bet small so that there won't be hot takes like this and no regrets afterward when there are unfortunate moments upon betting. As for the martingale, it pushes us to bet more after each bets for the thinking that we might get lucky next. That's true with that comparison and it's hard to get on that idea when you've been stuck into doing so. We can conclude here to just gamble responsibly and gamble with the amount that you're okay and can afford to lose. So if there are moments that you can't accept, you'd just say to yourself that it's fine because you only bet small. But again with these moments, you'll have the realization again about what if you bet big and you win that time. I guess that's the cycle there and it's not going to stop anytime soon, we always have those times that we regret, we compare, we try to think again of what ifs and etc. pertaining to the result of our bets.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in a crypto bubble? Is a possible correction coming soon? on: February 29, 2024, 05:44:15 AM
The upcoming Halving event in April and the anticipated approval of the spot ETH ETF in May indicate that this bull run will continue throughout this season.
IMHO, that ETH ETF spot is unlikely to get an approval. The BTC ETF spot have come long ago before it was approved. That's the reason for its approval that it's set a long time and changed a lot of policies time and time again for SEC to get satisfied with its rules and regulations. That's why with the ETH ETF spot, I haven't heard of it before but maybe there were applications that have been done before but I've never heard any of it. Also, don't forget the contribution of the BTC ETF spot for this current bull run, we're not even yet on the after-halving effect and yet, we're close to the former ATH.

Any predictions on whether a BTC price correction is on the horizon? How far do you think the price will go now that it has broken through resistance levels?

#tothemoon
It is to expected that corrections are coming and you have to remember that because before a pump that shall happen, there should be a capitalization through a dumped market. That's where it is getting fueled before it reaches the ceiling and for that, this is going to make it better if we see some corrections on the side and not pure pump. As usual, the whales have to take profit back and then on the market so as we.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s Soaring Heights and the Unpredictable Journey Ahead on: February 28, 2024, 10:58:03 PM
I may agree with you that people shouldn't invest with it if they're too emotional. But what's the cause of not investing? Because it's already on the top? We've been telling everyone to invest on it as much as they can when it's still below $60k. But many didn't listen and you guys are now trying to invest at the top again. The tendency that you'll be stuck there again is high but with halving coming in soon, there's a chance that you might go out there very early.

Those that are emotional on this market have to stay away and just accept that you've never invested when it was too low. You need to deal with it for you to understand the importance of buying when no one is buying and when people are telling to buy at those low prices. But before that, if you're long on Bitcoin and you think that it's going to be more than the recent price surge of it, then buy but take it as your emotion to be out of it and you're decided to do so with no one to blame with whatever happens to its price after this surge that we're happily and enjoying to see. No one is there to help you out with these decisions but only you, so check and see if they're going to be the right moment for you and you're patient enough.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: February 28, 2024, 10:04:52 PM
I agree, it is not going to lose you money when you see an individual trying to overcome his addictions and trying to win against them by supporting them. And one of hows is by giving them the thought that you're with them and you want them to win over these addictions especially in gambling because you just want them to get better in life. Having this type of support to that person might boost his confidence and there's someone that's counting on him for him to win over this gambling addiction. But, if you are someone that sees it as mind your own business and you have nothing good to say, much better to leave it as is and don't say anything bad at all.

Ignoring the guy is much better and saying nothing at all. Because who knows what the other person is going through and how tough he's been doing everything in his capacity to do these necessary steps just to quit gambling. We don't know the battles that the other people are going through so, please be gentle with everyone and shut your mouth when you have nothing to say. Words of encouragement are powerful so as words of discouragement that shall embedded to their minds and they will remember you as that guy that never helped them to give a support and when you're at the time of needing some support, you won't be able to see them there for you.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 27, 2024, 09:40:09 PM
Casino streamers usually work to fulfill strategies for their interests. Their streams are usually done very professionally definitely all these streamers are fake just watch them for fun never believe their wins and losses they sometimes fake it to attract new customers.
They are streaming and faking all of their wins because they've got a dedicated account provided by the casino that they're partnered with. That's no longer a new thing to think of when many of these streamers are doing all these fake attachments and emotions that are being shown to their audiences because they think that it should how it goes. So, whether they lose or win, it won't matter to them because the balance that they're winning and losing is controlled by the casino sponsor of theirs. And it has only one purpose and that's to entertain their potential audiences and new gamblers.

To lure gamblers and sites like stake and roubet are paying popular streamers to play casino games on their channels sometimes offering hundreds of thousands of dollars per hour.
Well, that's true and not just that. With vast money for marketing, they're catering even sponsorships through clubs from different sports where there's a wide-range of audiences and potential gamblers. That's why it is an important thing to keep on marketing their casinos because it is part on how they're going to maintain their sales and casino for them to have more money flowing in to the casino. Regardless of their life status, what is important to them is each of them are going to contribute to their volume and cash flow.
428  Other / Off-topic / Re: Having a regular/steady income is important as a gambler. on: February 27, 2024, 08:39:53 PM
I think that a person, in principle, should have a stable income.
But the point here is different, if a person is into gambling and has problems with it (he bets money that he has no right to use, borrows money for gambling or takes out a loan, etc.), then most likely it doesn’t matter how much he earns, since he will still have problems sooner or later, regardless of salary and income
Well, everyone should have a stable income but it differs with our passion as there are jobs that don't really give that security for having stability. But if the person is enjoying that job and it's like a commission-basis work, that's fine. Whether that person is a gambler and as long as it's clean money, that's what matters. So, if that working person gambles and he's got that money that he'd worked out, what matters there is that it is his money and he worked for it. That's what matters there and if that guy goes to the point of borrowing money and he doesn't have a stable income, he should at least give himself an idea that people who take loan have stable income or cash flow that they're able to pay for it.

Not going to that point but paying the possible loan through the potential winning. That's not going to be granted by the loaner if that's the idea but if he's got a stable income. The loaner will no doubt going to allow that to be granted and will set a term on how much the interest will be. Most of the borrower gamblers have those type of mind for which they think that it's normal but little did they know, they should be more aware the after-effects of it when they're not able to pay those loans and they don't have a stable income. They shouldn't gamble for being in that situation.
429  Other / Off-topic / Re: Everything you need is within you on: February 27, 2024, 07:40:30 PM
You don't really need to go the 360 degrees to be successful in life for everything you need is just within you.its not until you also do the same business the next successful person is doing before you gain financial freedom.the part way to success is not fixed you could discover yours.

Some persons close their long term built businesses to sought for a bigger one and end up losing both instead of making the one they are well acquainted with larger and better.
Stop crossing other people's lane and stop looking outwardly for everything we ever needed is just within.
Opportunities are all around us but it's left for us to see it as an opportunity and make use of it. One good step that is proportional to one good opportunity could lift one to a greater height. just look around, the solutions to your problems are just lying by the corner.
Those businessmen that are taking a leap of faith with their new ventures are the brave ones. They don't mind if they're going to step into a new doorstep with what they're about to do. While there's the meaning about having everything within us, you have to look at the other perspective if this is about making money and making a business. When you startup a business, it's not all about you but everything about the people that you're targeting as your customers and the ones that you're going to render your service. The solution that you're going to provide for them is what they're looking at to.

Some people actually believe that success is a function of luck
Those kind of people are crazy. I don't mind if it's about gambling and even trading. But establishing a business and will have to lie on the belief of being lucky to make it successful, they're crazy to the highest level. They have to understand that setting up something to reach their goals and become successful takes blood and sweat, a lot of time, money, effort, etc. That's all they have to know and see if they will have to do whatever it takes for them to become successful.

Idk how to get start with this, but I cant think of anything to do except wasting my remaining life away while my energy getting drain slowly, idk how many of you still living, not get killed in pandemic, but allow me to brief about myself.
Did you all noticed that the viruses nowadays are like stronger than ever? After this covid-19 hit the world, the viruses that are hitting our bodies seems to be different and it takes a longer time before our immune system recovers from it. I hate it honestly, and right now I am sick as well for how many days already and I am just taking a whole rest in my house. Even if I want to do a lot of things, I just can't. I am not getting any younger and this is also giving me the idea that I should take care of my body unlike before that I feel like I am invulnerable to these sicknesses and viruses.

Don't waste your life, I know how frustrating it is with whatever you're dealing right now. But don't decide to do it because there is no one that's going to come and tell you that you should end but only your evil thoughts. If you're getting drained slowly, take morning walks, drink some hot coffee or cold drinks whichever is preferable on your condition. I've been drinking a lot of hot drinks but I seem to never recover for several days. I'm not losing hope but I just hate it that this has stopped me doing my errands and things that I have to do during my free time together with my family. Now, it is my wife that has contained the virus with me, we can't go outside and we think of this as just a normal flu but I think that I am already on the end game of this sickness.

i personally talk to a doctor, I means real highly reputable doctor, i wont reveal the identity of the doctor but I'm very certain he didnt lied to me, he told me he was too get covid-ed, but he was lucky enough to get well, idk what he did to get back, it must be some undertaking for him, but he told me, it feel like he would have a long effect, possibly adverse long time effects, obviously I cant say much about that, he say it based off his very own knowledges and experience after treating up to thousands of people of their disease. take this info where you see fit.
I haven't gone out to check a doctor for a check up because I am totally wasted right now. I cough and my throat is hurting every time I have it. I just want to be gone but you know, we have to survive this and we're no longer living for ourselves but to our family. It's just sad that you're in a different situation based on how you've explained your status right now.

There really is still the thought about doctors making a lie about our sicknesses and when they give an explanation, sometimes we're doubting it because we've been reading too much conspiracies. I still have trust in them but of course to the ones that I do really trust. It's hard to get onto it when you're just on your own, no one's going to take care of you and even crawling means taking a water, I'd do that.  Undecided

432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price approaches $3k on: February 26, 2024, 05:44:01 PM
As Bitcoin is back @ $53k. Now, Ethereum has also been back to $3,100. This only shows that Bitcoin is the main thing of this market and then everyone follows it. So, if you have been holding Ethereum for such a long time and when it was under $2k, you're in profit now but depending on how much you're holding Don't get discouraged if you have been thinking to buy it and then you haven't done so because you're too doubtful with the price before if it's the right time to buy or not. That's always been the case for most of the investors and you guys have to accept the fact that Ethereum is the side kick of Bitcoin on this market. If there will be discussions that it will be removed at the 2nd spot in the entirety of the crypto market, it is very unlikely to happen and how much more it would be if we're on the bull run?

And just as Bitcoin goes up with approved ETF spots. This is the next big thing that we have to tune in for Ethereum. IIRC, on May the result will be out and we have to wait for about 3 months and that's also after the halving for which a lot of these events make significance in the market and will definitely show influential they are. Don't be too hesitant to buy before these events come because who knows if this $3k now might surpass the $4800 levels ATH soon and might get close to $5k and $6k?
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO in 2017-2018 left the strongest impression on you? on: February 26, 2024, 04:36:33 PM
No, none.
But it was the time when most of the projects that were being launched became the hot topic for most investors. And we are just seeing the logic now with the new launches that we're having. I honestly think that many became rich during that time, especially those that were wise and didn't keep their profits on any alt but moved it to Bitcoin. That was the craze before and from there, the bear market came and that trend declined which made significant impact to the market and community that many have thought this market and space is totally gone and dead for sure. But little did they know that it is essential for a market that have gone up to start going down and go through a cycle that it has to go on. 2018 was crucial and it's like a total dead year for the crypto market. But those that are patient and have a long term goal never left the market and just held whatever they by that time and kept it until the market recovered and shown some signs of its regained health.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t play gambling with drugs or in half sleep on: February 26, 2024, 03:28:15 PM
Doing this is like you've already accepted the fate of your money and that's no good. It is the same as you're giving yourself the last call for your money when you gamble and take drugs. The effect of it for someone's mentally will make you hyper and decisive to bet on these games like there is no tomorrow. And as you take drugs, you will have hard time in sleeping and that's the reason these two combinations aren't going to do good for gamblers and the influence of drugs could also be in emotion that can reflect to your actions that you'll never like. I wonder how people still don't see themselves not doing that and instead, they're trying it for their own sake because they seem to be encouraged and think that it's totally fine. They need to check some reality for themselves and give love if they want to or else they're decreasing their life spans.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling games that gives you an exciting experience on: February 26, 2024, 07:09:39 AM
We have the same hobby and if you are happy watching matches, me either and at the same time that's making us bet to those matches that we prefer. A fan that's also a gambler sees these things as an advantage for his bets but it's not that good at all everyday. You may have some bad days that your bets are not gonna give you those wins that you might expect. But the counterpart of it, when you enjoy the game watching the team or the player you're a fan of even they've lost the match, you are just accept that despite the loss that you've made with them. Sometimes you'd totally be disappointed with that but there are good times to come too.

So for you to enjoy the betting side of sports betting. You don't obliged yourself to hit such targets. You wait for the match of your favorite team, club or what you call them, cast a bet and sit back and relax and have something to eat as you watch those matches. Don't be too much with the bets that you do because if you can't afford them, you better not bet as that's not the essence of betting for many of us.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do cryptocurrency increase the standard of living on: February 26, 2024, 05:16:39 AM
Increase the standard of basic knowledge through knowing not just about the ecosystem and economics of cryptocurrencies but also about the technology that's behind it.

Crypto currency can not increase your standard of living, earning more money would while some crypto projects are good source for investment there are also some bad eggs amongst them, so when you refer to crypto it's a bit general and includes scam projects and dead projects too, so I'll say if you play with the bad eggs you would lose your money, but if you invest in good projects like bitcoin and hold for long then they is a chance to increase your standard of living.
I get about what he's talking about is the byproduct of investing in crypto. Like he's thinking of increasing his standard of living but in general, it is not crypto that shall increase the standard or way of living but his approach towards life and having more sources of income. So someone has to be that good in anything that he does not just with cryptocurrency investments but also in any profession or trade that he does. Because without having that upgraded skill in the job market or in managing a business, how can you increase your standard of living if you're not even receiving that much cash flow and source of income? That's why from there, start from the resources that you know that can help you out in growing.
437  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the challenges of developed nations nation? on: February 25, 2024, 11:29:36 PM
What's the major challenge that developed countries face?
Usually, it is the corruption that's rampant in those countries. They lack of leaders that have political will and has a genuine heart to serve the people and make the country better. These leaders are only for their own sake and keeping money through their pockets while they're on the seat and position. And after leaving or when they're done with their term, you'll usually see them living a fancy life and that's what they've prepared for and don't want to leave a legacy. But those that have pure intentions to make their country better and great, they're doing everything they can with their pure heart to help their country in a better state.

Do we have similar issues I mentioned above as part of thier problem or is it that the are going through these challenge but choose not to make it known to the public ?
There are no secrets anymore. As you can see, with number one problem of them which is the poverty and that's due to the incompetent leaders that people keeps on voting and electing. There's no solution for that but for the people to realize that they need to see the real leaders that has purest heart into serving them and not the people serving these leaders.

I am looking at ramzes profile, I haven't heard that he has parted ways with 9pandas but that seems so.
It happened during the offseason after TI and it was probably overshadowed by the other big players since there were too many roster shuffles at the time.
Oh, it wasn't made articles for his departure with his former team.

Surprisingly zai is back, but he's only behind the scenes now that Tundra took him in to fill the manager position.

https://twitter.com/TundraEsports/status/1761028310862094844
He may not be the player that we used to love but I am also happy to see him back working on the back end with Tundra as their general manager. He'd surely give more tips and advises too just as if he's a coach or analyst of the team too.

Happy to see Aurora and 23Savage doing great in 1st day of DreamLeague S22 but also glad to see Lorenoff is doing a great job as a replacement for Jabz and I won't be surprised of Aurora will have a deep run this DreamLeague season.
Not bad for them that they ended this day with a 3-1. 3 more days for this group stages to end and there will be more actions to come. I like this format that we have a long day for this group stages.  Cheesy
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: February 25, 2024, 09:18:56 PM
I also believe that researching gambling is good. Follow casino streamers are not always accurate as they cannot guarantee exact winnings.
We don't have to follow them and to based our pick on them. We can follow them for entertainment but if it's about decisions and related matters to gambling, I don't think that it's the best idea ever that we should do that. Researching is normal and this must be done by everyone not just in gambling but in anything where we're putting our money into risk. That's for the sake of our safety and also that shows on how responsible we are and we just don't dive as quickly as we can just because the person that's pushing us is influential or a streamer.

If they promise big money in the beginning but then it becomes difficult to find them if they suffer. Therefore if you do your own research you will learn something new and it becomes easier to understand the casino trends. Other people's research is useless in gambling.
Actually if there's a promise to win big money, that's already a red flag for me and I'd avoid that streamer or influencer because in gambling, there's no accurate winnings that someone can make. It's just for the sake of them to have audience sign up with their affiliate links and that's why they're so pushy for their audiences to have you and me signed. But for me, I wouldn't do what they say. Because if I do, then I am one of the ignorant and gullible audiences that they have.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of gambling sites are scams ! on: February 24, 2024, 11:24:48 PM
There's definitely no shortage of scams out there, but there are also plenty of totally legit gambling sites too.
This made me laugh. Honestly, this is so true. There will never be shortage of scams and it is everywhere and that's why we're here to help each other out tackling those complains and having some discussions on which one that we should trust. Because these casinos are also giving some importance to their communities and hearing them out. So, if there's no action taken by a single ticket that's been reported to them, they've got their other means of approaching them through their various social channels and as well as their announcement threads here.

I feel like after seeing enough sketchy sites trying to pull fast ones, you start to get a sixth sense for shadiness.  And when someone new pops up making big promises we can usually sniff out pretty quick if things seem off or they might actually be on the level.  but for new gamblers, it can be tough knowing who to trust. and  That's why its so great having these forums where people help each other separate the trash from the treasure.
Experience will definitely give you that another sense to see some red flags from these casinos that have shady plans to their customers. You'll figure them out that they're not legit and all they want to do is to attract more newbies deposit on them and from there, it's going to be the plan that they will execute by simply giving that user a headache and problem through any means of their service.
