621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 07:33:23 PM
Gambling whether you play it online or offline is a mental game there are a lot of mixed emotions going on while you play
Excited when you're winning, anxious when you're chasing your losses, ecstatic when you won a big amount but have anxiety about cashing out.

It's a roller coaster ride when we are playing in casinos whether online or offline that is why we always come back to gamble because we feel alive and we have mixed emotions.

But after finishing the game what's your overall feeling how did you overcome this feeling and how many hours or days did it last?

Be honest with yourself and vote on the poll on What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling?
No choice for being meh? Yeah, that's usually my feeling after gambling. If I win, it is satisfying but if not then it's just the typical feeling of being meh. Like having a frown face, I am not sad nor disappointed but sort of like that but that's how it goes with gambling, right? We can't always win and we mostly lose at most times. Those who are still frustrated when they're losing, if you don't gamble, you'll never be frustrated. But that's how it goes and that's what you need to understand when you do it.

And even when we lose we did enjoy gambling as we stayed for how many hours, that's still fun and satisfying, right? It's like your payment to the entire enjoyment that you have experienced so there is nothing to be regretting at all. You just have to play out with your mind and think of what's essential for you because that's not going to give you any satisfaction when you think of the negativities since your money is already gone away.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 29, 2023, 06:44:37 PM
Questions like this has popped out in several occasions and arguments concerning Bitcoin investment. My friends will say you must lose before you gain or rather have more experience investing in Bitcoin. If its how it work, Bitcoin isn't for a low income earner as well as not gonna make you rich when you can't invest something tangible to it. On the other hand people are been made big and wealthy in same program. What does it in tell, cos am quite sure people had already known what's going to happen in the market in the nearest future to give them the strong mindset to invest porously.
It is not about a person who's a low income earner or a big earner. It's about understanding the entirety of Bitcoin about it being a very volatile asset. If you have understand that then obviously, you're aware that there are some thoughts that you'll get to see along your investing here that it's not always going up. There will be times that the market is going to be lower than you are expecting but at times, you'd see it moving up a lot.

My biggest fear is losing my hard earn to something as volatile, vulnerable and uncertain as btc.
Then invest somewhere else which don't have a lot of volatility unlike Bitcoin. How about go with gold, real estate or any of those typical assets that are tangible and you have no worry that they are not going to show random volatility as you buy them. Bitcoin isn't for the fainted heart so if you've got one then you better step out or keep on learning.

What's the possibility you invest without losing. Is it guaranteed in this kinda market?
Let's say it in general that there's no investment that will guarantee you profit. If there's one, then it's likely a scam.
623  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you see young girls who engage into prostitution on: December 29, 2023, 11:19:13 AM
Sadly it happens that someone will do anything in favor just to get those possessions that they like. I think one big influence is about the shits that are all over the social media. This era and generation are totally out of their minds where they are glorifying someone's body count and making it like a trophy for people to show. I'm not sure if I'll be glad or not that I was born into a different generation that has a better understanding of issues in society.

On the other hand, if it's become a profession of someone. You just can't justify any argument towards that person if that's the only livelihood or job that she can ever do. But I believe that everyone has the skills and period to realize that what they do is not for their betterment if it is something like this. Watch the interviews of those people that once worked in the adult industry and we can just connect it with the topic because it's the same thing that they do. Most of them said that they regretted it and they've been wild and carefree during their younger days and if there's one thing that they want to correct, that's their profession that they went in and they'll avoid to choose that.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: License: is it a guarantee? on: December 29, 2023, 09:50:05 AM
I have read complaints about gamblers not paid for their prizes and jackpots or not paid fully. There are also others who are banned or whose accounts are suspended and their funds locked. I think most, if not all, of these complaints are against casinos and betting sites that are licensed.

Even here in the forum you can read such complaints. There are even scam accusations because of such experiences. But the casinos they are accusing or complaining against are all registered. I doubt that these complaints and accusations are all false. Some of them might be true. So although gambling in registered casinos is the right thing to do, it isn't a guarantee that you will have a perfect experience.
Every licensed casino has its own players who are having problems not just with these prizes but with the policies that are imposed on them. But with all that, there's always a basis as to why it's done on them. I understand the point is that even if a casino is licensed, it does not exempt a gambler not to experiencing a bad thing about them.

Some of them might be true but when a representative responds to them, you get to see that many of these accusers are also abusers. So, it's a case to case basis with the experience but that doesn't mean that the registered casinos are a scam. I think we can all agree that there's a guarantee that a license casino will definitely operate as what's given to them with the licensing because it's part of it having a business. But with the various experiences and complaints, they have no control about the users that are also abusers. And with the legitimate ones, they have control over it and can respond with genuinity and a reply of help for their concerns.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 29, 2023, 08:35:55 AM
Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
There is, it's just the fun or happiness that gambling gives to those who are saying it's fun is there. But as an observant, you don't see it from your own perspective because that's not the fun that you are anticipating. But in reality, if you're having fun and you gamble, that is on you and you don't need to wait for someone to tell you that you should have fun. You don't need to get the validation of other people because that's how you should gamble and have fun. So if they are telling us that they're actually having fun, we can't argue with that and that's their feeling and experience.

Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning
That's it, that's the fun that they do and found it through gambling and that's not impressive to you because that's what makes you think that there's no fun at all. But if we're going to take a look and see those actual people that are saying that they do it for fun, you might see the actual fun on their faces or reactions based on how they show it to the other people. Anyway, it's a huge argument about people that don't see gambling as fun and profitable, this is like a debate that's always going to show.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Was You Biggest Win in 2023? on: December 28, 2023, 11:40:47 PM
So, the question is simple, in your gambling activities all through 2023, how much your biggest win?

And in loses as well, how much was your biggest loss?

Is it possible for you to calculate your cumulative wins and losses, and tell if 2023 was profitable or not; to you in terms of gambling?

Lets discuss..
Not for me because I've transferred from one casino to another one and another one again. I don't know how much I have accumulated in gambling by the wins and losses that I've made. But it is not a lot to be honest because I am a controlled gambler and I don't dig a lot with my budget whenever I have. I can say that I am still on a better situation even with not that a lot of wins but also simply don't have that much losses as well.

Or that's actually a win for me that I am still in my sane as I gamble and I know what actually is happening. I don't want to sound that I am a saint but that's what really it is. So for those that have a lot of losses, I think it should start with your mindsetting and change that if it's not helping you a lot this year. Next year is another going to be a long year for you to start making your own paths in gambling whether you're a compulsive or controlled one. What you must do is to protect yourselves from spending a lot that you can't afford to lose.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 28, 2023, 10:38:10 PM
That's right. Marlon Tapales lacks the firepower which is the truth even when he is up against Murodjon Akhmadaliev. He ain't the type to knockdown a boxer which is why he is trying to end it in technical style. Well, he ain't Manny Pacquiao or The Flash Nonito Donaire who have that punching power to knock their opponents out but I believe he will come back stronger.
They have their own strategies inside the ring and I still think that Tapales is a good one after receiving all of those hooks that are like bombs. He's still managed to stand long for 10 rounds. That's already a long round but it would give him more applaud if he'll be able to finish all of the rounds and it will have a unanimous decision

That's a good new if Inoue would really think of fighting outside Japan. I believe Nery is also a decent opponent, was once a champion and I believe he is better than Tapales. Time for Inoue to bring a championship fight in Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world, "am i right?".
I don't think that Inoue will agree to fight outside Japan. He's the champion and he's the one to dictate where he wants to fight but if he's okay with that then that's going to give him more credibility. What I am saying, many fans will look up higher on him if he allows his next fight to happen outside his country. Going away from home and you'll have to defend your title, that's something else and not all boxers are like him because they just give the demand of the fans or wherever they are confident to defend their belts.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 28, 2023, 10:12:38 PM
If a gambler is young, it won't be a problem sitting more than 7 hours straight but with food and water.  Grin
But as we grow older, the older the gambler is, the less time that we can spend in gambling in a straight sitting. For me, I couldn't do that any longer time like 2-3 hours anymore, and note that it's not going to be a straight sit. I'll have to take breaks because my eyes can easily get irritated if I am gambling online. I think that I'll be more exhausted if I do it at a physical casino, why? Because of the ambiance and noise and the people go left and right that are confusing my attention.

That's why the younger that we are, for sure that it is not going to be a problem that we can sit for straight hours gambling and you'll still be fine aftewards except that you are in a losing streak. And that's the problem of most young gamblers, they don't have much money at all and that's why as they grow old, that's the time that they can do anything they want and like us we can have some allocation and budget on gambling but the time that we can spend is no longer the same unlike when we are younger for which time is not a problem at all and less stressful.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 28, 2023, 08:36:40 PM
Is it possible one can dodge KYC verification request after winning a big amount of money and decides not to withdraw a lump sum but bit by bit in smaller amounts.
It will be noticed by the system of that casino where you have won a big amount. If it's possible that you're able to withdraw in bits then you're good to go but do not be surprised if they suddenly ask you to comply with a KYC and complete it for your withdrawal to proceed. Because that's what usually comes next when you're going to withdraw such amounts from these casinos. So, just prepare yourself for it since the backlogs from your account will be seen by the admins there and if there's something that triggers the alarm then you'll be asked and stopped.

I have read many posts talking about how they wanted to withdraw the money they won but due to the amount they wanted to withdraw was big, they were asked  pass kyc verification because they never did when they first registered.
There's always the rule about the casinos that they can ask you anytime if they want to or if there are some suspicious transactions or activities found on your account. It's always included on the TOS but we don't read it and we just moving on with the registration and then will be reminded afterwards when we're on that situation. And that's why everyone is aware of these policies made by the casinos whenever you're going to win big amount or even if you just deposit huge amount all of a sudden. It is going to alarm them why someone who doesn't deposit huge amount started to deposit, it's due to AML/KYC procedures and policies.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 28, 2023, 07:24:12 PM
Happy Christmas to all gamblers. I have been reading some threads and comments that many people have been saying that they find it very difficult to stop gambling (not only gambling addicts), but on one hand, I really think that it is not hard to quit gambling even when you are winning and not winning, but it is you who can't control yourself. Bets can not force one to stake, but a gambler can force themselves to stake a bet, even when he or she does not have money to bet.
It doesn't matter whether you are winning or not. And if you're saying that it's not hard to win in your best shape, no one's going to quit when he's winning. We have to remember that when you're at the best moments of your life and you're winning, you just don't want to see it stop and that's why no gambler is thinking that he should quit by that time when he's got all of the money that he's winning. We as gamblers are the ones responsible for our actions and whether we continue or not, it is our own will that will be forcing us to do it.

Some gamblers did not learn how to gamble. They just see themselves doing it, but they can't stop it. Why because they can't control themselves, even when they are not an addicted gambler?
What do we have to say about this?
How can a gambler do gambling when he didn't learn it in the first place? It is quite confusing but it seems that you see it as a willful action that we do. As you are saying these people can't control themselves and are dependent on their own course of action. They are not yet addicted but the time shall come that they will because of how they're not able to control it. When someone is experiencing out of control, you can say that they're about to get addicted and no one is able to help themselves but only them. And of course, no one's gonna stop them from betting but only themselves.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 27, 2023, 11:35:49 PM
There are gamblers who are real gamblers and are aiming to make money while doing it. But there are also gamblers that can be said to be recreational gamblers and they are doing it mostly just to have fun. With that, there's no need for any argument whether someone gambles for money or for fun. IMO, let them do what they wanna do because we're all in it for the reasons that are valuable to us.

We can be actual gamblers and are on it for the money and when we lose, we can have some adjustment and just say that we're just looking for some fun.  Grin
Actually, it doesn't matter right? Because what matters here is that you are not gambling with others money and it is your money that you are gambling with. Because if you're for the both or either and you're gambling not with your own money then that's where the argument starts and the reminders about on how we should be able to be good gamblers regardless of the reason we do. We should only gamble what we own, and we should lose what we own, and gain what we own.

Where are the Ame fans here? Your boy is back in the professional scene together with the Azure Ray roster but they won't be playing for the same team. They're going to play for the Xtreme Gaming team and this is one of the strong teams that we can see in their region currently. While the former Azure Ray lineup is left with the two players, Lou(1) and Jiang(5) in their respective positions there. And what's sad about Azure Ray is that their EPT points are gone. Despite winning the championship in the ESL Kuala Lumpur Malaysia with 4,800 EPT points, based on its rule then those EPT points are totally wiped out and gone. It's not surprising that the Azure Ray team owner or manager has allowed that to happen since he owns both teams. I thought that this type of rule has been gone before like having two owned teams per tournament but I guess running two teams is allowed as long as they won't participate the same tournament. For easier vieweing, here is the new roster of Xtreme Gaming that everyone is optimistic with.

  • Ame
  • Xm
  • Xxs
  • XinQ

633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 27, 2023, 05:37:58 PM
I used to be very influenced by streamers and try to be influenced by celebrity I like. But I am now back from that position. One thing I noticed very well is that the streamers try to attract gamblers in various ways just because they get money. Even if they could do something so good, they would get good results from gambling themselves. I no longer join my own Twitch account. When I gamble I try to do it on my own research and my own intelligence. I don't currently follow anyone in gambling.
That's why most of the influencers really love their audience and that is because many of them are attracted to them and will do anything for them, any favor being asked will be granted by most of these people. But if you come to that point, you need to remember that you should act on your own and if you're not even a gambler yet you registered and tried to deposit just because you wanna support the influencer, that's not even right at all.

Don't let others affect your decisions because you are the one to decide whether you will gamble or not. They can influence you a bit but you don't have to let them influenced you at most times. Because if you do so, you'll be confused with what you really are and that die hard support you're giving is not even going to be appreciated by that influencer. They may say that they do but there's no heart feeling with that and it's just pure business on them.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment is kind on: December 27, 2023, 10:02:09 AM
So myself I have decided to launch a vehicle parts shops in my city by January 2024 and I have decided to use Bitcoin as one of the criteria of payment because of what I'm seeing for bitcoin increment and my country that permit for cryptocurrency transaction in my country, secondly I want to start having my own bitcoin with the payment of my vehicle parts, I don't know if mempool of bitcoin I have being hearing will still continue by next year 2024 because I sense that it's what will bridge people not to make a payment with bitcoin if i open by January 16th, because all the necessary arrangements has already put in place and  awaiting for January 16th to open officially.
It's okay that you will accept Bitcoins for paying for those vehicle parts that you will sell. That's just gonna be another alternative for your customers but whichever they prefer to pay you then that's okay. You'll just have to display the QR on your shop and put the logo of Bitcoin because it adds exposure to Bitcoin there and who knows if you'll be able to meet other people that are bitcoin investors there too.

You can just give them a warning that paying right now is going to cost them some bucks. And it's up to you whether you'll add also some other payment options for altcoins or stable coins and then when you think that the time is right, you'll be the one to convert it to Bitcoin if ever you think that you'll be investing on it because everyone is aware of what's coming to Bitcoin.
635  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The personality that promotes the humanity needed in our society. on: December 26, 2023, 11:54:37 PM
That's the problem, we always look at the top of the chain and use them as a perfect example wherein fact that it should start from us, from our homes and families and that's how we need to address this issue. But with this topic, we can see that there are not that many people from the top are really willing to help their people. All they care is to full themselves with their pockets and forget about what's being seen on them. Even the rich countries, there are issues like this so it's like an in general discussion.

But I am not losing hope, we can see from citizens to citizens that there are still people that are looking forward to see this world a better place. And what they do? They are not waiting for a leader's aide or someone from the top with influence to initiate making this world a better place. But instead, they are doing it alone and initiating it from themselves and passing all the good things that they've received and that's why we see this "pass it forward" thing from many people that advocates this matter.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In The Span Of six months what will make you trust a new casino on: December 26, 2023, 10:49:59 PM
If a new casino launches an announcement here in Bitcointalk what are the requirements or criteria that will make you trust them?
Within six months after they launched their announcement here

Launching a review and signature campaign?

No complaints or scam accusations?

Very responsive representative here?

Good reviews from casino review sites?

Please vote and tell us why this is your choice all reasons are valid points but if you're going to pick one that will be the best answer what will it be?
It all starts with a very good representative. That is what they are assigned for and to inform the community that they are cooperative and very open to suggestions, details, and improvements and being heard whether you're not so big or big on this community, that's what makes people too attentive with the newly launched casinos. I think reviews and signature campaigns are also helpful because it's about giving them exposure to the community that they are in.

But if it's about trust, it shouldn't just be good reviews but also bad reviews. What they need is an honest reviews from the known people that are on this thing. We've got a few people that are into this matter and they give honest takes from the casinos that they are part of. About no complaints and scam accusations. It is rare to see a casino that don't have these problems. It's always a matter of customer that they will expose some problems that they've faced with these casinos but in the end, they won't be justified and caught lying.

And that's the same position for the newly launched casinos and also for the old ones, so basically as long as there are proofs that they've been wronged or false accused or actually faced a problem that they shouldn't, it's all about black and white proofs, left and right not just about accusations with words without valid proof.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should security be employed in local bet shop? on: December 26, 2023, 10:32:04 PM
It's a protocol for most business establishments including the local betting shops to have security in detail, inside and outside of their premises because they are handling money. Think of it that the small shops that have one or two cashiers and still have that security force that are protecting them inside their premises. This is a normal thing to see for these local bet shops to have also their own protection through security in detail that can be seen on the premises so that bad actors will have an idea that it's not going to be easy for them if they've got some plans to rob it.

Wherever we go right now, there is security on duty for the shops that they are designed to protect and hired to. And I think most local casinos need more of these securities to be in duty because it's a business that keeps flowing with huge people and money brought to them to enjoy. But a bad situation could become worse if there will be planned robbery and these securities are going to be part of it.
638  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Intelligence on: December 26, 2023, 08:41:18 PM
^^^ I presume you are talking about the medical who just killed millions of people around the globe with mRNA Covid vaccines in a fake pandemic?
Well, there are different medical experts and I know that you're aware of that. I also hate what has happened for the past few years since the pandemic started. But I am talking about those professionals who are dealing with this problem of OP in particular. I don't know what type of medical expert is in this field of intelligence.

And it's known that these vaccines and experts dealing with viruses are different from what OP is asking. So I won't compare them as they are two different fields that everyone can understand. I just can't actually remember what it's called when someone has this type of doctor. Since you've mentioned about the covid and its vaccines, I still feel bad for those who have lost their loved ones because of the covid-19 virus.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 26, 2023, 07:21:56 PM
Honestly at this point any one who follows Bitcoin and doesn't realize it is growing into becoming the world's largest single asset, easily eclipsing Gold next decade, is just not a bright person.
Well, there are Bitcoin investors who don't mind what's the status of Bitcoin on the list of world assets and how it is ranked right now. Because what matters to them is that they're already invested in Bitcoin and let it go along with the waves of the market itself and don't mind the growth of it because it's already embedded on its based on its history without doubting it. It's just going to be a matter of time until it reaches close to the total market capitalization of gold.

In another sense, they just really follow it and are not investors. I'd agree with what you've said that they're missing the whole thing, maybe they're bright but not bright enough to understand how Bitcoin is disrupting both technology and financial sectors.

It's strange that so many people want death of bitcoin. I don't understand that haters
They don't want Bitcoin to be dead, there are actually two people that are classified that wants to say terrible things about Bitcoin including its death. One are those that don't really like the fundamentals and growth of Bitcoin and are already late investing on it. The other one are those folks that keeps on saying terrible things about it and want to see the price go down for them to start moving and buying it.
640  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Intelligence on: December 26, 2023, 06:16:03 PM
I think you should be consulting a professional and not the forum people. Maybe there's someone who's also a professional on that help you're asking but it's just best to go to the doctor who can give you the right suggestions about how you'll be able to increase all of those memory-related needs and tips.

A few searches on the internet could give you some idea but it's still just best to get a consultation from a health or medical professional who will give you exactly what you're asking. Of course, it comes with a fee but think of it as an investment and for your betterment. There are people who don't see seeking professional help as a need and think that these consultation fees are just a waste of money, please don't think like that the same as them.
