441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX to refund customers at Bitcoin's prices below $18,000 on: February 05, 2024, 10:11:20 AM
Everyone who has been affected badly by this debacle deserve every single benefit that they are eligible to that will be set by FTX or the government that will monitor the refund process. So if the price of Bitcoin will be below $18k at the rate of this process, it's a good decision for the sake of the victims. People might say that the users eligible of it are winners, heck no. They've been the victims of this scam that FTX did.
And they have all the rights and deserve every penny that will be returned to them at any rate that the US government decides to.

This is still a developing story and I hope that all of the victims will find themselves the justice for the ruckus that this debacle has caused them. It's a lot of money to process for FTX but it's good to hear them that they'll halt their operation and choose to go with the refund process which is like restoring the faith in humanity. And this is the new management while the fraudsters Sam Bankman-Friend and his cohorts are on jail time.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Two Category Of Gamblers That We Are Not Aware Of on: February 05, 2024, 08:54:31 AM
Based on that description, action gamblers are energetic and yet they have low self-esteem? I think that contradicts the entire description of it when they're action gamblers, energetic and yet they have this problem of having low self-esteem.
Some characteristics of low self-esteem are:

Quote
thinking that other people are better than you, thinking that you do not deserve to have fun, blaming yourself when things go wrong, focusing on your negatives and ignoring your achievements, joking about yourself in a negative way, saying something negative and critical about yourself.

I do not think if someone do not have some of these characteristics, that the person will be energetic. You are right.

What OP posted are just something not to consider.
That's why I think that it contradicts to the description on what OP has given about the action gamblers. They shouldn't be low self-esteem gamblers as they are active and energetic. And whenever there are these types that differentiate the classics of gamblers does have their own reference. But I think that they've just made it for someone to have something to do out of boredom. But anyway, I respect all of these classifications if that's too important to them because still, I don't think that there's a need for you to classify yourself.

It's just like the old times when we talk about it for being an active gambler or a passive gambler. Someone who does it for fun and does it for the money. So, all of those stuff and descriptions that we all know, there can be changes over time based on the trend in the gambling industry and based on the terms that we've been using. But as I have said, there's not really any importance whether to get classified as one or not.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 05, 2024, 07:54:01 AM
Going with just like simple casinos that doesn't have a lot of restrictions like smoking is allowed inside the premises, dude, you're really are trying to win some diseases there and if you already have contained one and you go there. You're just helping them to destroy your immune system and defense. Going on with this argument that there's a health benefit of playing and gambling online, there's always the pros and cons for everything and whatever works for you then you have to choose that because if that works perfectly for you while you're taking your meds and having some relaxation then just choose to relax and be at home.

Although you may find some other interesting things when you visit the physical gambling places, nothing beats what you prefer and having the peace of mind and very relaxed while you enjoy to gamble. If I'll be asked, I'd definitely choose the comfort and will just have to sacrifice the socializing with other gamblers because you can also do that when you're gambling at home. You can join online communities of gamblers just as what we have right now and it's very favorable because you can speak out the entire you while having some conversation with the others.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to present the previous history of Bitcoin to the general public through. on: February 05, 2024, 06:57:25 AM
Reading stories is my old habit. One day while reading stories online, I saw an advertisement, that advertisement was of Bitcoin, based on that source, my journey to Bitcoin or crypto currency.

I want to present the past history of bitcoin or crypto currency in front of people through social media and so that people can know more about bitcoin because I think I should have known about bitcoin earlier. nowadays, people are very pioneers, so there are many who learn a lot at a young age. I would like to know your opinion on how to increase the interest of Bitcoin among teenagers on social media.

By using what topics a common man will like to read about Bitcoin and will be able to gain clear knowledge about Bitcoin and show interest in investing in Bitcoin ?
Just give like a webinar about the basics of Bitcoin and see on how many interested teenagers or even the older ones are going to come to it. But if I'm going to do that, I'll just post it first if there are friends and relatives that are interested on it. At the same time, I am going to think about my safety because it's not that safe at this time when people have seen that you've known something about investments like this. They might feel that you're already rich and that's why you're giving back and sharing it to the others. With that, they might think you have lots of money and you're not giving some treats to them.

Why I am saying this? because of the wrench attacks that have happened for the past years and it keeps on happening no matter what the situation is. You'll never know on who's the good and bad on social media and information there are spreading like wild fire. So, don't go to the public first and start out with your family and friends and from there see if there's an interest and if you want to go out into the public and help the others with knowing what Bitcoin is, you have to be careful if you are for this cause.

The younger generation today are impatient, let's say that there are interested ones but they'll just show you that they listen and that. After your talks to them and ask them after several weeks and months, they have forgotten what you told them.

Your boss or someone in that position that's higher than you and has been dropped with the required person that shall take that position needs to be specific with the candidate that you guys have to hire. It's always hard when it's about choosing the applicants and some are going through with their decision through their hearts than of their minds. On this matter, your higher op just chose the right fit that your company needs and that's why if it is what it is, you can't say that there's a bias thing that has happened on that candidate choosing.

This is the rough thing about the corporate world. You need to be at the best during the interview but then when on the actual duty, the performance drops if didn't monitored well. As for that hiring process, it's the typical process and that's your opinion that he might be bias but in reality and everyone's perspective, he's not and he just did his job and the right thing to select the right new colleague.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: February 04, 2024, 10:50:31 PM
Looking at the matches posted on those telegram channels and without having the check its legitimacy on the web through simple google research is likely the attitude of a person that's likely to get scammed. When you are into sports betting, you'll always check the other bookies for you to determine the odds of it and if you have found the best odds and you're into that team or athlete then you'd definitely going to bet on it. Someone who relies wholly the decision to these channels and signals, think that they're brilliant and letting others do the job. But no, you're not brilliant and you're just bunches of lazy people that wants to get hold of yourselves.

That's the typical person that's too gullible and will never do better if you don't change. Don't believe into fixed matches, most of these if legitimate are only happening in the terms of people like Drake and his connections. But for these random telegram channels that comes out like lots of mushrooms, you're likely to get scammed on them and just make your own analysis because that's the fun part of doing bets especially in sports.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another Two Category Of Gamblers That We Are Not Aware Of on: February 04, 2024, 09:51:01 PM
Based on that description, action gamblers are energetic and yet they have low self-esteem? I think that contradicts the entire description of it when they're action gamblers, energetic and yet they have this problem of having low self-esteem. Maybe the majority belongs to this category because of how many are energetic in terms of gambling but if it's with the other things, we don't usually give our thoughts and attention on it. The attention that we're giving to gambling is we are aware of it but we just can't stop ourselves when we're already there.

And as for the escape gamblers, looks like they are villain of this topic and they are liars and manipulative. Anyway, a type 1 category or the action gamblers can also be manipulative based on the descriptions that they have and said that they've got that IQ and confidence. Why I think that it can just be the same category and there's really no need to categorize them because at the end of it, what matters is that they're both gamblers and still can go to the point of being addicted.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on this Robert Kiyosaki's thought? on: February 04, 2024, 03:55:19 PM
what's the guarantee that once you've bought bitcoin you are 100% certain that you've made profit.
I still believe that nothing comes easy on this world. He's probably just telling things that when you buy bitcoin then you're obviously going to hold and be patient with it. Even the meme coins investors, they don't just buy and don't have any plans at all. They've got a lot of plans and that's why with that, they're aware that it is coming not easy as they need to exert effort and time for it. And the same goes with what Robert said, it's like he's guaranteeing people that have bought bitcoin that you'll make a profit but you need to wait.

At what point can you consider to have made profit in your bitcoin holding journey?
When you're above on the buying price. There's no need to complicate things with that, as long as you're above with that price you've bought it then you're already in profit.
449  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍍Pineapple Poker| freeroll tournament starting soon| WIN 120 USDT on: February 03, 2024, 10:04:51 PM
I am reading the details on the thread about your website but just seen that you're operating through Telegram. I've seen casinos that are running their casinos on telegram but it doesn't really get that much attention. I don't know with yours, maybe you will soon.
Just a tip that while you're there, it's better to integrate it with your own website because most of the gamblers likes to see you have your own website and have some login details there.

Telegram is just like an off source where in it became a den of scammers and thieves. Although your usage of them is different, but the impression for the ones who have known the reputation of telegram should give you the idea that as soon as possible, it's best to just make your own website and have pineapple poker there.
450  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Moving to America on: February 03, 2024, 10:56:25 AM
What if I was black or brown would you still give me the same advice
I've got friends of friends that have been living well in California and just as said that there are each communities that you can find where you belong there and I think in some other states too. But if you're for the opportunity, I think many are moving to Texas and following the herd that's make by Elon as for his companies are moving there from Silicon Valley.

And to tell you honestly, these racism, inequality, it's not just happening on a certain place like for your question in USA. For every parts of the world, there are people that you don't know what's on their mind and they might attack you just because they're like that and they want to. If you want to move to a country, look for those countries that has peaceful index and have the standard of living based on the stats and surveys made. I'm thinking of that but as of now, I don't think that I should move.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use profits from the crypto market? on: February 02, 2024, 11:45:03 PM
I want to hear from you:
  • Have you ever been profitable and taken profits in the crypto market?
  • How did you use that profit? Do you use that profit or reinvest it?
  • Do you think using profits is also important for your investment journey?
1. Yes, but one regretful moment happened to me and that was when I took profit at an early period of time before the bull run. As I am always saying, the lesson has been there and I've learned from that but still, profit is profit and it's money.

2. A bit of was reinvested but the majority of that was used to the things that I need to pay like bills, small credit, etc. You know the typical person's life whenever we get money from any other source that we have?

3. Definitely, we invest to make money and so after we make money, that's the time that we're going to spend and buy those things that we have hoped to buy for with that investment we made.
452  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Herbalists Live Longer than Christains on: February 02, 2024, 10:37:44 PM
There are many reasons why someone can live longer than the other. This topic isn't just all about whether you're a Christian, an Herbalists or some other member of other religions. It's about how we live on a society and how we take care of ourselves. Honestly, the foods that we have right now have more additives and preservatives and it's totally different from the past years where many are living on a natural food eating habit.

That affects the lifespan of most people and if you're into foods like processed meats and you're living a fast life and when I say fast life, it's like that you have no time to cook food and exercise then your choice is fast foods and you'll just go out and work and go home to eat and sleep. There's no life balance with that and that affects someone's longevity so whether the debate is about herbalists, Christians or anyone who's just normally living. Things that we do and in take affects our health and lifespan. And as we grow older, this is the time we realize the quote "Health is wealth".
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: February 02, 2024, 08:52:13 PM
If you'll be hard on them make sure that they're on the soft side and they aren't emotional and they're on their right mind. Because if you're hard on them and they're also on the hard feelings because the loss that they've made is just fresh then it's not going to click and that might even complicate the situation. And that's why I agree with people that are saying that you should be soft to them.

Being hard on them might push them away from listening to you and they might do the opposite. There are people like that even if you show them your concern, they won't obliged and appreciate it so it's best to approach them nicely because that's what I think they'll remember your advise instead of being harsh on them. They might feel that they're targeted because they're active gamblers.

But those addicted gamblers probably have a different approach when accepting someone's advise and if these guys don't appreciate the soft and harsh advises on them, the real problem is really them and they should see on how these people trying to help them get out of addiction instead of having a bad thought about them for which they don't have any ill intention on them.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are people still interested in bankroll investment ? on: February 02, 2024, 07:48:38 PM
The question is in the subject  Kiss I’m genuinely just curious if people are still interested in this because I believe it’s a good way to “HODL” your bitcoin.
AFAIK, there were forum members that have made their own threads tracking their bankroll investments not just for one casino but for several of it. I just can't find them all but I think that if they see this thread, they'll come by and drop their threads. IMHO, there's a little interest now with bankroll investments. But take a look at it like 5+ years ago, there were bunch of us that have shown interest on it and for that reason, many thought that it's one of the best investments. I can't argue with that but as everyone becomes more aware on how to keep their bitcoins safe.

It's just better to keep your bitcoins on your own wallet than put it on a bankroll investment even if you're highly trusting the casino that offers it. Because just as what we're saying with these exchanges, these casinos are not also giving the private keys whenever we deposit bitcoins on them. So, there's no difference at all about keeping it there as a bankroll and the same goes with the exchanges.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Gambling Practices Most People Ignore and Sleep on on: February 02, 2024, 06:33:35 PM
The majority goes with the financial management as a factor being neglected on. And that's because a lot of us think that gambling is an investment and treats it like that without having the understanding that it is an all in taking risk and you have no idea what comes next after the bet you've casted. At the same time, it makes someone make terrible decisions in handling their finances like the approach of how to save and invest properly.

Those important things are also being neglected on and that's why the image of gambling has been destroyed long time ago because of those gamblers that can't control themselves. Becoming addicted to gambling and doing wrong decisions like asking for loans just to gamble, selling their stuff to gamble, becoming irresponsible with their families just for the sake of gambling. Heard of those stories, right? And that's why it's like connecting the dots and creating a domino impact for most of the gamblers that are neglecting these factors.
456  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism in Africa on: February 02, 2024, 05:41:54 PM
It is happening everywhere and if some places in Africa have been targeted by these terrorists, that only means that there's a need for the leaders there to strengthen their forces and armies and send them to almost every corner where these terrorists are being found. Having to shown that you're serious with this campaign of dealing against them will make them back off somehow if they still love their lives.

But just as I've heard with some of the videos about them, many of them are like ready to die so no matter what preparation comes, they've all come prepared and won't be scared to death even an inch of it. And with all of the source of these terrorism in the world comes from rebellion, poverty, poor support from the government and any other problems that these people are crying for. Also, some of them are likely funded internationally so they're hard to eradicate.
457  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: February 01, 2024, 11:39:25 PM
Damn, this is a pretty shitty practice. Like, I use Dplay and XFUN atm, and they do keep their promise as far as KYC not being required to deposit or withdraw funds. I imagine I'd be pretty pisses if anything else were to happen.
I haven't heard about that casino but if they're not asking you for KYC so that's fine. You continue your fun there and you withdraw your profits whenever you want it to be and when it is necessary. But when there's a casino that has asked for it, you're not going to complain because most of them are requiring people to kyc and that's also making them follow the rules where they are found on.

The casinos that ask for it making it sure that no money laundering is happening on them and that's for the safety of their company and business. But as we all know about it, this can't be stopped and it can happen everywhere where people can abuse and use them for doing so, so this is a step that they're doing to stop it from happening and whoever is doing that will be known with the method of having his/her kyc.
458  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is skill key to success! on: February 01, 2024, 04:57:21 PM
Being corrupt isn't a skill. I don't like those powerful people that have became successful due to their dirty tactics. But you know, as we always say "what comes around goes around".
We've got only one life to live and we should live with it the best that we can as for the skills to success. I believe that each of us has his and her own path to success based on the gifts that we have. Yes, gifts and skills are like the same and if you haven't thought of it yet, you have to know what kind of gift you have. And that's going to depend on the likes of yours and what are the hobbies that makes you happy. You are fortunate if you can make money with your skills and that's your passes to success. Because there are many skilled and gifted people but they don't have much of a privilege and choice and didn't pursue that, so they've done it the traditional way just to survive and have forgotten the actual skills and talents that they've got before.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: February 01, 2024, 03:37:32 PM
During this time, I think I also like to take risks. Because of that, I invest in crypto which basically has a high risk. However, I also have limits to that. I only use money that I can afford to lose, and do not use the main money that I have. However, I like taking risks, but don't like making my family or those closest to me accept those risks.
That's the rule in investing, you should only invest what you can afford to lose. Because if you invest your main money and you become unfortunate with that choice of yours and you've lost, that's where the problem will come to you and you'll regret that you have never thought of it first that scenarios like this can happen to any investor. While we love taking risk because when we do that, we're also potentially going to receive rewards.

But not at all times that we're winners, there are failed investments that we have and we have to learn from it. If we don't, we're going to repeat the mistakes that we've made and those failures are going to be the same so no matter what happens, that's what we'll remember even if the enjoyment was there but it is no fun when on the other side we're losing money.

So, I only take risks to a certain extent.
It's a must that everyone must only take risks to the extent that they're able to absorb and can be taken.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 31, 2024, 11:38:29 PM
Never gamble if you are having problems because you will never control your emotions and will
have wrong decisioning that will truly effect your gambling outcome so better to know that first before going to
casino because many gamblers fails from this kind of situation.
Those that have emotional problems will have to deal with it every time they gamble. They're aware of the problems that they're tackling and then they continue. It's up to them whether they'll play around with that situation knowing that it's a hard thing to manage when you alone can't do it. And even someone has experienced that already and decided to keep on going, it's not guaranteed that emotion will be gone so it's best to always remind yourself that you're not on your own when you're too aggressive when you gamble. Safety first as they say and you have to consider that for yourself.

And Also you have to make sure allotting exact amount playing so you can go home or stand
from the table when those amount completely spent.
When someone is out of his emotion, he'd gamble with any amount that he wish to and for that reason the money that will be gambled will be having the most emotional detachment when the gambler losses.
