Just to be clear, Armory developers see the issue with how big and how much GB the chain takes up locally right? Hence a "light" version is around?
Goatpig already mentioned about v0.94. It is being tested. For now, you will have to build from source. So, preliminarily 0.94 has stabilized, but it hasn't seen much testing outside "the lab." I would like to invite folks who can build, to checkout the ffreeze branch (feature-freeze) and try it out while we continue our internal testing. https://github.com/etotheipi/BitcoinArmory/tree/ffreeze++ In 0.94 the Armory home dir databases folder should now be less than 150 MB! This is what we refer to as "headless fullnode" -- All database formats have changed. You must rebuild your databases! (and we don't have a clean way to help the user transition from the GUI).
-snip- If in fact this is how Armory is why can't there be a setting to point that folder to another location? Why does it have to be on the local drive? Even if Armory is installed on another drive, it still makes these files on the primary drive. I run many portable programs. Can't Armory do something like that? And the chain is only getting larger and larger.
I did see your other comment in the other thread. Looking for the different switches I can use.
There are already options to do that. Read https://support.bitcoinarmory.com/kb/article/16-change-or-move-the-blockchain-database-storage-location-for-armory-and-bitcoin-core. Alternatively, you can create symlinks. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/

Use the --dbdir command line argument to target a custom db path. You can move the current files there, no need to rebuild from scratch. There's no option in the GUI for that purpose, what you are using is to tell Armory where to download and look for the raw block chain data when auto managing Core.
Thanks. Where are the command line arguments listed anywhere? Run Amory --help. https://support.bitcoinarmory.com/kb/article/8-command-line-options

LoLz... I hope you understand *completely* about the Bit-X scam fast... before it is too late. p.s. I am assuming that you are innocent and do not understand how Bit-X is duping bitcoiners.BIT-X is legit unlike the scam you are advertising. However, it is also possible they are selling more than 1 PH.

How is these accounts getting hacked and no reports are made by users? I don't think someone would buy those to spam a referral link but I am stuck when joining dots!
Easy, someone joins fastminer.net, uses the same password as is used on bitcointalk.org then whoever is behind these hacks simply logs into the hacked accounts. Not everyone is going to try to post on the forum everyday and if your account is hacked, you technically don't need to post in meta, you are suppose to send theymos a PM with a signed message asking him to reset your email address. So there could be reports but they are just not public Hmm... Who is this marcy clown spamming the entire forum with links that are probably virusses. Can some one ban this idiot?
It will take sometime to delete all of those spam and more time to ban a user!

thanks, but what is the "script" field in the Inputs box? All inputs will be loaded manually when you enter an address or private key*. Script determines how the person who receive that Bitcoins can access it. Read more at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Script. You can use http://btc.blockr.io/api/v1/tx/info/txid api to get raw transaction data. It displays script. * I recommend entering an address instead of private key and sign unsigned raw transaction using Bitcoin Core or any other client which supports signing raw transaction.

Thanks for your prompt response Mo, I really appreciate it! I am a bit of a bitcoin noob and have only been mining the past 6 Months...I am not to familiar with nlock...how would i obtain that? Cheers Brother You should have got it after you created wallet. Did't you activate that option? IIRC, it is activated by default and we will get locked transaction via email. Sorry, I haven't used it for a while!

So, when do I get told if I've been accepted or not? Surely it doesn't take two days to look through my post history and determine if it's good enough quality.
I was wondering the same thing myself. Anyone? Send a PM to Marco!

-snip- Can you Please tell me what are these fees?
CARD PAYMENT CONVERT 27.07.2015 15:51 BTC - 0.07720268 BTC Sum converted to 21.60000000 USD for transaction BIT-X COMMISSION FIXED 27.07.2015 15:51 BTC - 0.01000000 BTC Commission for transaction CARD PAYMENT CONVERT 27.07.2015 15:51 USD + 21.60000000 USD Sum converted from 0.07720268 BTC for transaction BIT-X COMMISSION 27.07.2015 15:51 BTC - 0.00231608 BTC Commission for transaction CARD PAYMENT PROCESSED 27.07.2015 15:51 USD - 21.60000000 USD Sum charged for transaction
There are many Fees, Why? Almost around MORE THAN 4$
Please ask things related to debit card in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1006153. BIT-X commission is the transaction fees. 0.01 BTC is probably due to ATM withdrawal and 0.00231608 BTC due to POS transaction. But ain't 0.002 BTC, the fee of POS transaction? Card payment processed is showing the total amount you withdrawn/spent.

Run vanitygen.exe --help to see all commands. Use -D command. oclvanitygen.exe -D 0:0 0:1 1CherryMX. For exactly problems like that i use online vanitygen. I know offline generation is better but harder and more problematic. Good luck in solving this, maybe video card is not compatibile?
Biased.

^^ Thanks, that is how i also see it. I used to see it as darkgreen 20 till i had to remove glennmathews from my trust list. I had done many deals with him or me going first lots of times but then i heard he scammed some member and also someone on BTCjam i think so i couldn't keep him on.
You should only add people who judges accurately, not according to their trustworthiness(though this is one of the criteria). What exactly do you mean by "only add people who judges accurately" I just add anyone i have done a successful business deal with where one of us risked a certain amount of btc, should i change they way i adjust mt DF trust list? I mean people who leave feedback accurately. Not people who leave feedback for each and every things. I don't know how to explain it better. Maybe someone else will explain it in a better way to you!
