This is kinda ban but it is in fact locking an account. Account gets locked when you reset because I tried today and the account got locked.

Exchanges between USD/EUR and BTC usually require full identity verification to be able to accept USD/EUR deposits, you need to verify your bank account and CreditCard to start making deposits using them in Circle/Coinbase. You need to make a verified account with ID image and proof of address I think to even start trading on bitstamp. BTC-E doesn't require verification normally but I saw a topic about them requiring extensive verification with a big withdrawal.
I'am usually against Exchanges since they ask you for ID and passport and other real life informations but I thought I could use to know the best just in case I feel to sell my BTC fast .
I would like to know which is the best , also details about it (Documents needed to start exchanging , how old the account should be ? deposit and withraw methods etc )
I'am also not sure how all this works ,I mean once I used Allcoin.com and I had an alt coin which is basically not known atall but I got it instantly when I traded , on those exchange ... who buys the coin we sell ? the website directly or we trade with other people who wants the same thing ? kinda confusing :/
Go with Kraken. They have different levels of verification, and depending on which level you want, they ask for certain documents. Of course, higher the level, higher are the limits as well. I opened an account with them a year ago so I don't know exactly what are their limits but you will check that easily on the site. I verified level 2 and that was without sending any documents. Just a phone number verification and I provided full address. I think limit is 2000 euros a day with this level. First I wanted to open with Bitstamp but when I saw I have to send documents to use them altogether I gave up. This is why I liked Kraken. Also SEPA they charge only 9 eurocents, international wire transfers not much more. And their security audits are rock solid as well, this gives me confidence. Hope I helped! Which country are you from? This would help narrow down the options.
I'am from Algeria which is located on North of africa (that big country on the map ) -snip- * Bolding is my courtesy.

OR they got bribed with coin and are doing this out of greed. You never know. Also, has anyone started receiving their payments for the $500 free package yet?
They are most probably bribed, because as far as i know; they ad an article about the company before, and removed it, only to place this new one just now. They know what they are doing, and they know who they are advertising. Indeed. It would seem that they were simply paid to publish an article, which isn't uncommon. The verification is something that poses no risk to them either, they're simply verifiying that CloudThink is a registered company. That doesn't mean they're trustworthy. So did anyone actually get any of the hardware they are selling? A newbie, probably/obviously an alt/shill, created a thread in Service Discussion claiming he/she got it. Other than that, no.

You can run anything that you could in a non-live version.
But the amount of disk and ram will be reduced. And you will have to store the blockchain elsewhere, unless you have 25 GB of spare ram in your live system
I highly recommend you not to post about things you don't know about and to slow down your post count and increase quality before your potential ban.

Funny, scrypt is a scam
Probably, yes. I can't think of any other explanation of the observed facts. but an signature advertised unlicensed dice gambling site that will take all your money if they can is not a scam
Just-Dice has been trusted with over 60,000 BTC (worth over $50 million at the time) and ended up giving it back to its owners. Again you're right. It is not a scam. you make me laugh.
I'm glad I can entertain while I educate. Educate people into unlicensed gambling is yet entertaining. Educating a troll is more entertaining than that.

I am a fan of running live linux mint on my old busted laptop. Can I install bitcoind on this?
Yes but Bitcoind needs to communicate to Bitcoin-Qt/XT. Where are you storing blockchain data? Anyone got a good link for this?

Another way to do this in the future would be to put an ender on the name of the thread , something like -dev121 And everytime you would do the search like suggested above, do it for the keyword dev121 and selecting yourself as thread starter.
That's where the problem is. There is no option to search by "topic starter". If so, it will be very easy to search for the topics started by a user. You can only search by "poster". I meant in the field of " By User " while searching you can just put the normal username. And in the text field add dev121 which you could set at the thread title end. Now I understood what you are saying. That is actually a good idea. Instead of adding "dev121" or whatever it maybe, adding *a* special character is better.

Hello
Hello! I am considering creating a new topic on the forum that I would like to become a guide for new users, such as myself. I have a few questions of the forum rules and best practices though, as I would like to avoid any issues by starting out right.
Read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0 thoroughly. 1. If I create a new topic, can I make the OP with minimal text and right away reserved the first few response myself? I was thinking something like a brief description in the OP, then maybe 3-4 replies reserved with placeholders, such as the word "reserved", so I can later back-fill the guide without it being too unwieldy in one post. I anticipate the guide will become quite lengthy and breaking it up into different replies would make it more manageable and easier to read.
You can. 2. Is it a good idea to make it a self-moderated thread? I seem to sense there is some debate on this, but I would like to keep the thread clear of any unnecessary trolling or other detracting posts. I would keep constructive criticisms, etc., but many threads I see deteriorate to the point the original intent gets lost. Or does using a self-moderated post detract from the thread creditability?
As you are a new user, there might be some criticisms from users but as long as you don't give any false advises, you will get into trouble. 3. I have read the rules and feel I have a good understanding of do's and don't s, but if anyone has tips to offer that would be great.
Not all users ask questions in your thread. New users create threads instead. If I remember correctly, there was a thread like this but it is inactive for a long time. You might want to bump it once every 2-3 days and don't forget to delete old bumps once you create new ones.

and use various escrows who are in the default trust network for the sole purpose of getting a trusted trust feedback (they may not always trade with themselves, however escrows on DT who give trust after every trade appear to be highly sought after).
This pisses me off to no end. There is no reason to give positive feedback to people you escrowed a deal for. Nothing is displayed that warrants that, the escrow does not actually risk anything - if someone doesn't send, they just return the goods/BTC of the person who did send. There is pretty much no reason for the escrow to be giving positive rep. Unfortunately, this happens a lot and you see lots of inflated trust scores with people who have 0-BTC risked trust all over the place. There are valid situations for escrow leaving a positive feedback. Eg:- if the trade had a big amount or if the trade took a long time and if there was good involvement from buyer/seller, then leaving a feedback is good. But leaving feedback for each and every trades escrowed or each and every trades done is not at all a good idea especially if the user is in default trust list. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=223869, for example. TBZ should not leave feedback like that IMHO.

Is there any website where it shows how many bitcoins are lost, or we know only from people that lost their bitcoins?
There is no way to know total Bitcoins lost. For example, a person deletes a wallet with Bitcoins. How can we know that Bitcoins are lost if he does not publicize it? I know it is a tricky question. What do you think, how many Bitcoins are lost forever and are 'out of the network' by lost private keys?
People lie, cheat and steal, so you must assume that there are no lost bitcoins. Unfortunately, that assumption is false.

What will happen to your fiat when you die? If you tell your relatives or friends about all your wealth, they can get it. If not, it is probably lost. Same way, if you don't tell about your Bitcoins to another person, it is probably lost. If not, there is a chance for recovery. The difference between fiat stored in banks and Bitcoins stored in your wallet is that your close relatives can take your fiat money legally but to recover Bitcoins stored in an encrypted wallet/device, you need to tell the password to them or they will have to proceed with a brute-force attack.
