So you are saying i can add 2-3 site ads, isnt it againt their TOS ?

https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9728?hl=en

Secondly will you please mind to suggest some best idea for my faucet rotator?

Create your own faucet and creating landofbitcoin-like rotator may also get some attention.
982  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: June 28, 2015, 09:40:35 AM
So I saw people with less points and activity then me having Hero Status .......when I will have mine Sad .

You'll be a Hero on the 15th of September providing you make a post in each fortnightly period. As others have mentioned you cannot achieve Hero rank before you get 480 activity.

User SpiryGolden is talking about may have deleted many of his/her posts which may have lead to <480 activity but rank maybe still a Hero Member.

IIRC only Newbie, Hero, and Legendary members don't get demoted normally. Maybe I'll fix it at some point, but it's not really a big deal.

Check how we can do yatra of vashno devi.

First of all 12-14 hour of travel by train from Delhi to Jammu tawi after that we have to hire a mini van or bus which takes us to Katra acutual place from where our journey starts.
Find a hotel there take rest for 5-10 hour and then start you journey.
And it takes 48-72 hours to do darshan at ardh kumari after reaching it by travelling 6 km due to high rush in the month of may and June.
After doing darshan of garbhjune cave we have to go 5 km away by walking at vashno devi mandir.
After refreshing/Bathing we have to take a prasad to start the darshan of devi in pindi and due to high rush we get chance to see the pindi after 1-2 hour from where we have to start journey to bharaw baba at 3.5 km away but darshan of bharav baba does not take much time nearly 20-30 min after that we comes back to hotel to take rest for a day and then go to shiv khori cave by bus which takes 3-4 hours to reach from where we have to start walking again 3.5 km to reach shiv khori cave and due to rush it will take 2-3 hour out side  cave to enter into the cave.
Then jitu baba and first darshan of devi etc...
1 day is reserved for the purchase of prasad oh wait I can show pictures of prasad and lockets which I get from there.
Let me know if you want more description.

Well, you said you walk/run ~35 km and I thought that it will be similar to Sabarimala walk and people going to Sabarimala usually don't rest for long but in your case, you rest longer. I don't wamt evidence for that journey of yours. If you did take 704 Doge and Newbie account, give it back.

986  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I'm Not Running any Ponzi and I'm not a Ponzi scammer on: June 28, 2015, 07:47:15 AM
From the looks of it BTCBLOGGER scammed someone out of 704 DOGE and a newbie account (refrence)
 --quotes of probable scam--
It looks like someone may have messed up the quote
I was out of town in vashno devi check it out there is some network issues and prepaid network providers are not allowed there and it takes nearly 5-7 days as we have to walk/run almost 6+5+3+6+5+3+3.5+3.5 = 35 km quite long distance.
You are welcome in India.

5-7 days to walk 35 km? Huh Average human walking speed is 5 km/h. But lets check how much time it take to walk 35 km at different speeds:

0.5 km/h = 70 hours
1 km/h   = 35 hours
2 km/h   = 17.5 hours
3 km/h   = ~11.7 hours
4 km/h   = 8.75 hours
5 km/h   = 7 hours

So...?
987  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Need your Help for my faucet Rotator on: June 28, 2015, 07:18:16 AM
There are many faucet rotators around now, so if you are looking for income, it may not be a good idea. You must create something different from other faucet rotators to get attention.

There are rumours that these type of sites are against Adsense TOS but still there are many sites using it. So you may also use it. A-ads is good when you start the site and if you are getting lot of traffic, then start using https://adbit.co. Even if you start using adbit.co, I recommend you to keep one or two a-ads ads. It's not a good thing to rely on one site.

Bitmedia is good but there has been multiple bad reports. I don't vouch for them until everything is clear. If they are good site, then you can use them. Their pay is competitive.

I just gave him some space to breath as he came forward and pm'ed me that he will repay. If he doesn't pay, He will taste and see how good the jail food is, A cybercrime FIR case will be filed on him with all the documented evidence and i will spend my money just to have him behind bars.

Don't expect much from Indian police. Recently, one of my friend went to report a Bitcoin theft. He had evidences for it but police didn't take any case telling that Bitcoin is illegal. He said that Bitcoin is not illegal but they rejected it.

lessons to be learned here

you must always keep control of not share your private keys with others.

Corrected for you.
990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: paying no transaction fee on: June 28, 2015, 06:48:49 AM
If you set tranx fees zero then you may lost your bitcoins normally it takes

You won't loose your Bitcoins.

About 2 month to géting single confirmation you will not

2 months? A zero-fee transaction can get included even in the first block after it is broadcasted.

Get money back one it sent

A fair warning: if you don't want your account to get banned, avoid posts like this.

-snip-
Why is Luke-Jr sitting at a -1 {...}

The answer was in first page.

-snip-
Doesn't that mean if someone receives a positive and a negative rating, they'll go negative if the negative is newer?

If someone has 1 positive and 1 negative, then the time doesn't matter. They'll have a score of -1.

There are some useful changes, but the first score needs to be rescaled. It varies too much if one trust is added or removed. Makes anyone in Default trust much more powerful and those outside it more worthless.

Muhammed Zakir's rating shows as ???

Yes:

[ img]https://i.imgur.com/VZfITNr.png[/img]

It is a bug.... theymos can surely fix it.

I am not surprised of a bug in the trust scores, the whole system is a bug and hardly usable Wink

Trust spam. Just below that post, that doubt was cleared.

I thought I read somewhere that the "???" trust score basically means the system is unable to help you determine a score so it is up to you to decide whether the user is trustworthy or not. On my end Muhammed Zakir's trusted ratings are all positive and he has a trust score of 9 currently, so I guess it also depends on who you have on your own trust list as it affects other people's trust scores. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

??? is a valid score in the new algorithm.

Doesn't that mean if someone receives a positive and a negative rating, they'll go negative if the negative is newer?

If someone has 1 positive and 1 negative, then the time doesn't matter. They'll have a score of -1.

Examples:
Old -> New
+ - : -1
- + : -1
+ + - : ???
+ - + : 0
- + + : 1
+ + + : >=3
- - + : -3
+ - - : -3
- - - : -8

You are wrong dear the percent of jizya is not 20 to 30%. It is equal to zakah almost, there is just difference in their names.

I had already posted the accurate figures from history books. I will post some more.

1. Jizya ranged from 33% to 80% in Spain under the Arab rule. (Source: The Moors in Spain (Vol. 6) by Lane-Poole, S., & Gilman, A.)

2. In modern Egypt, the average Jizya is around $1,500 (almost equal to the average annual income of the Egyptian Copts).

http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2013/September/Egypt-Christians-Killed-for-Not-Paying-Jizya-Tax/

3. The rate of Jizya in the Moghul Empire (modern day India) was 48 silver dirhams for the highest class, 24 dirhams for the second class and 12 dirhams for the lowest class. This amounted to some 20% to 30% of the income (for the middle and lower classes).

They are overexploiting jizya by charging a high amount. Actually, jizya should be a little low nowadays because there are very less wars. Hence, defence is not really needed.

+1

Keep going. Hopefully you are going to be the first cloud mining company to complete its contract.

With the lowest payouts (dust) per week.

The problem is, almost no one else dare to publish their payout in Cloud Mining industry. Hence it can not be compared if they are dust or chunk. Smiley

Everything is available on Bitcoin blockchain and how can you verify all the transactions CMW post is payout? There is no need to post payout details in the website. In fact, almost all ponzis post payout details to attract customers and usually, legit companies* don't do it. Using payout details as proof of legitimacy is absurd.

* I am not telling all websites which don't post payout details are legit.
995  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Bitcoin - Sending Fee on: June 27, 2015, 05:45:58 PM
You will need to know the size of your transaction and coin age to calculate priority.

The size depends on the numbers of inputs and outputs and is roughly*:

148 * number_of_inputs + 34 * number_of_outputs + 10

0.0001BTC/1000 bytes is recomended fee to get high priority. Priority can also increase if age of your coin is old.

996  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Los Angeles police shoot unarmed man in head; and then handcuff him! on: June 27, 2015, 05:27:19 PM
LAPD identifies officer who shot unarmed man in Los Feliz

A piece of tape and ruler flank a bullet hole through a garage door in Los Feliz, where an unarmed man was shot by police Friday.

A week after Los Angeles police shot and critically wounded an unarmed man whose hands were covered with a cloth, department officials on Friday identified the officer who pulled the trigger.

The LAPD identified Cairo Palacios as the officer who shot Walter William DeLeon, 48, along Los Feliz Boulevard. Police said DeLeon walked "aggressively" toward two officers and pointed his hands at them, leading them to believe he had a gun hidden under the gray cloth.

DeLeon remained in critical condition on Friday.

Palacios previously worked as a sworn public safety officer with the city's General Services Department, which patrolled parks, libraries and other city-owned properties. That department merged with the LAPD in 2013, part of then-Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's effort to boost police staffing to the 10,000-officer mark.

Palacios began working with the General Services Department after he graduated from the Los Angeles Police Academy in 2006, the LAPD said. He was assigned to patrol Griffith Park as part of the LAPD's Security Services Division, but was removed from the field after Friday's shooting.

An attorney representing Palacios said his client thought DeLeon had a gun and was going to shoot the officers, saying there were no indications DeLeon was trying to get their help. Attorney Gary Fullerton acknowledged it can be difficult for the public to grapple with police shootings of unarmed people, but said officers have the right to protect their own lives.

"The officer, when he went up to handcuff the man, was shocked to find just the cloth there and nothing under the cloth," Fullerton said. "It's unfortunate, but you can't expect officers to be clairvoyant and wait until they get shot at to actually know what this person is doing or thinking."

Fullerton said he believed "100%" that Palacios followed LAPD policy in the shooting. But, he added, the officers "were obviously traumatized by what happened because nobody likes shooting what ends up being an unarmed man."

DeLeon's son told The Times he was shocked to learn his father was shot by police. William DeLeon, 18, said his father often walked with a towel to wipe away sweat.

Kevin Boyle, an attorney who is representing DeLeon's children, said his firm would "leave no stone unturned" in its own investigation of the shooting.

"From everything I have seen, this is a wonderful family and I would be absolutely shocked to learn that he was approaching police in some sort of an aggressive way," he said. "Maybe he was feeling ill. He may have been reporting a crime. It's just unknown at this time."

The investigation into the June 19 shooting is ongoing. LAPD officials have said Palacios and his partner were stuck in traffic along Los Feliz Boulevard when they saw DeLeon walking toward the road, with his arms extended and his hands covered by the cloth.

“DeLeon began pointing his arms toward the officers and continued walking toward them in an aggressive manner,” an LAPD statement said. “Based on DeLeon's actions, the officers believed he was pointing a gun toward them.”

The officers got out of their car and ordered DeLeon to drop what they thought was a weapon hidden under the cloth, police said. He didn't comply and kept walking toward them, the LAPD said, prompting Palacios to open fire.

No gun was found.

It remains unclear why DeLeon approached the officers. The LAPD has said no broken-down car was found nearby and he had no injury to his hand indicating he needed help.

Police have also said several witnesses have backed the officers' account. Residents who live in the area and who were interviewed by The Times said they saw the aftermath of the shooting, when the officers rolled DeLeon over and handcuffed him.

Thanks all. I have already send a message to Marco and I will message hilariousandco soon about it. So do you have any other persons in mind? As SebastianJu has already handled a good amount of bitcoins, I think we can add him to big 5. Any thoughts?

Updated list:

Code:
[size=14pt][b]Bitcointalk Escrows[/b][/size]

It seems as if there is no thread with a clear list of all the active escrows on bitcointalk that is regularly updated with relevant information.

Only members with announcements threads will be listed in their suitable category.

Have a suggestion or update? PM me or post here!

[b]Some tips:[/b]
- The escrows in the follow list are to be used carefully.
- Always do your own research before trusting any escrow.
- The 'BIG 5' will be the most trustworthy, but at all times ensure you are talking to the right person and if possible, verify their PGP signature.

Correct, but it is dependant on the trust depth you set in the trust settings, no?

Yes but in a sense, if you change the trust depth, it will no longer be 'default' trust list. I might have overlooked 'default' when it comes to default trust list though.

Also, DefaultTrust is owned by theymos, correct?

Yes. DefaultTrust is controlled by theymos.

Or does any admin/global mod, like badbear, also have control over it?

I don't know if anyone else can control it but I think only theymos can.

P.S. thanks for clarification, I edited my first post.

Anytime and thanks for correcting!

I believe that a multisig address begins with a 3, and they are mostly acquired from Bit-X.

or Xapo also provide multisig address begins with a 3

so is there any disadvantage for multisig address ?

You will need to sign with more than 1 key if you have m-of-n multisig address where m is greater than 1. So you need to secure more than 1 key and that is the only disadvantage I know about.
