461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best way to know altcoin that has potential in the market cap on: December 28, 2023, 09:40:40 PM
It has been said to be very careful with influncer in one of the thread,

That's true, maybe the influencer is a noob, or he/she has a lot of knowledge in crypto, but still it's hard to follow his advise here, just saying.

my question is which way is the best? Share your idea about this to avoid certain limitations.

There is no secret formula to find which one is the best. And it might take some luck in your side to found that diamond or at least the next meme coins like Shiba or Inu. This is the best resource though, but still you need to learn how to read between the lines.

Maybe there are projects that might go off the radar but suddenly it exploded. And if I'm not mistaken, we have boards about the new and upcoming project so maybe you can start for there.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Was You Biggest Win in 2023? on: December 28, 2023, 11:14:19 AM
-snip
So, the question is simple, in your gambling activities all through 2023, how much your biggest win?

And in loses as well, how much was your biggest loss?

Is it possible for you to calculate your cumulative wins and losses, and tell if 2023 was profitable or not; to you in terms of gambling?

Lets discuss..
Well, it’s been quite a roller coaster. I can’t remember a big win this year; all I recall is being part of an ongoing gambling session, but due to its continuation, the final result turned out to be a big loss. The balance is now leaning toward the negative side. I know that losing is an inevitable part of the game. It teaches us lessons and builds resilience. So, my biggest loss was around 180 USD, which was tough to swallow, but it became a stepping stone for learning and growth.
Hoping that the new year brings even more wins, lessons, and moments to celebrate. May the odds be ever in our favor! Cheers to a prosperous and fulfilling 2024!
Same here, it's been a ride, I remember playing though in a traditional base casinos and winning like $200-$400 in the last quarter of this year. And then I didn't have the guts to comeback as I usually played online now.

The thing with playing online is that I don't spend or bet that big as compare when I was inside a casino. Maybe it was due to the ambience and the environment wherein there are a lot of gamblers and maybe you have the same bet in games like bacarrat or roulette.
463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the only currency that has grown the most!! on: December 28, 2023, 09:55:51 AM
Despite the volatility of Bitcoin, anyone predicting a big correction in the market is not far from getting it wrong. Definitely the price of Bitcoin will drop but there is no tendency for it falling so much, I think the little correction is just there for those who wants to still accumulate Bitcoin, they can jump in by applying the DCA strategy.
Some may either wait hoping for the price to dump so they can purchase but that may not be the case as we are not expecting such to happen.
Normal price corrections can occur in the Bitcoin market with conditions that will not be quite different. Because what is meant here is a price correction that only occurs within a few percent without any drastic terms because large price drops only occur when the market is in a bearish condition. Meanwhile, in bullish conditions like now, it will be quite difficult to see prices drop drastically except for just a few percent of the highest price that has been created in the market.
Buti in the bear market, we will have to see worst corrections, like what when we have the FTX collapsed that sent the price down to $15,500. And I think it's not just a few percentage if we take into consideration that bearish year. After a high of $69k the price nose dive to almost 90% down throughout that bear market.

Nevertheless, it's just another bump for bitcoin enthusiast, we all know that after a bull run the bear market will take over.

And so we endure that and now we are very much in the bullish state. And next year there will be big surprises as we will officially enter the bull run.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 28, 2023, 09:12:24 AM

I am wishing for this to be John Riel Casimero hehehehe but I speculate that this will Luis Nery to prepare Inoue's entry for boxing in Las Vegas.

he can choose to fight Casimero first, in Japan, and if he wins again, he could proceed with his last fight in the division with Luis Nerry in Las Vegas. This Casimero fight has been long due, their trashtalking started when the fight was cancelled due to covid restrictions, but it didn't resume when everything was back to normal.

I also saw an interview from Casimero saying that Tapales knows he has no chance of winning after round one, so all he does is  just tighten his defense because that's the only way to survive longer. Casimero even mentioned that if he was there, he would be able to give Inoue a fight, he even beat one of the best bantamweight which was Tete in just 3 rounds, so he is the only Filipino who can beat Inoue.

So this is what I like Inoue vs Casimero, biggest fight next year.

Casimero was wrong, however. Marlon Tapales was trying to win the fight and had a better performance than expected. There was only 2 rounds where Tapales became more defensive. Those rounds was when he was using a philly shell and did not throw much punches. But for much of the fight Tapales tried to punch Inoue. It also appeared that Tapales could reach the decision until he was knocked out which was shocking because Tapales did not appear tired or weak.

In any case, do you know what would be better than fighting Casimero in Japan? It would be fighting Casimero in Las Vegas hehehehehe.
I do agree though, I mean after the first knockdown on round 4, we thought that Tapales is done, but look at what he did, he go toe to toe and he had some good shots, like the upper cut and that straight right hand if I'm not mistaken.

Unlike other boxers that Inoue face, when they felt the power, they just want to survived but they can't run the full 12 rounds.

12 rounds could be what Tapales wanted, but he gets tired and because he has soften up by Inoue already.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 28, 2023, 08:32:38 AM
^^ But then again, even though Luka has another big numbers against the Cavs, they still lost in the end. As what the announcer say, pesky Cavs and even they enjoyed a big lead going into the 4th quarter, the Cavs keeps coming back and eventually take the lead and that was enough and then they double team him in the dying seconds and Curry didn't get a good look.

So after beating Booker and KD the other night, they've lost a bad and ugly game that is winnable for them.

39 big points for Luka, but Cavs has more solid balance scoring and they have the heart, specially Lavert who lead the Cavs tonight.
466  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: December 27, 2023, 09:48:19 AM

And yes, it's a good partnership, between the two parties, and seeing Manny's face in BK8 promotion is huge already.

I've read mixed comments about this commercial in Facebook, and some are making a guess on what is BK8, they even make their own meaning about BK8, and for them it's "Boxing King, 8 Division champion". I laugh quitely while reading and I say to myself, they are genius because it does make sense.
Isn't it fitting though, that BK8, one of the largest in Asia is partnering with the legendary Asian champion in Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. Yeah, that could be the meaning of BK8, Lol. But we all know that BK8 also has a lot of stars specially promoting or partnering with football teams and players.

And maybe this is one of their strategy now, to get Pacman so that they can attract boxing fans as well.

So like others said, it's a good move by the marketing people behind BK8.
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 27, 2023, 08:59:14 AM
^  With the sell down that just went on a few hours ago, the daily chart shows that BTC has somewhat found some resistance against a local high point it had at December 8.  But then again for what we're trying to do for this thread, the monthly chart shows BTC is up around a tad over 13% which isn't really bad at all.

And the weekly isn't really looking that bad from an optics' point of view which could mean we're in for another leg up...  So yeah, pick your poision and hope for the best.  Stay safe out there guys.
Still good to see the price at $42k but it's not that what we expect it to be, I mean we thought that $45k could be the price, but let's see. Well I don't think it's poison though, just another minor dip, the normal cycle that we have been seeing.

So $42k for now, less than 3 days, if it can go up and put the price around $44k that will be huge end price. So with that, happy new year to everyone and hope that 2024 will be fruitful to everyone.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person more addicted on: December 27, 2023, 02:21:54 AM
In my opinion, both online and physical gambling can make you addicted to gambling whatsoever, it doesnt really matter what kind of form it is it is still gambling so you are still prone to getting addicted to it especially if you are doing it a lot and winning. I mean I dont think that you could easily get addicted it might need to be your habit in order to get addicted sometimes we just want to gamble since its fun and entertaining we want to try our luck.

We saw gambling addicts in physical casinos and even on online gambling your friend just preferred to gamble physically that just it, both of are still can make you an addict, I've seen a lot of people get addicted on online gambling since that is just the way they want to play, probably your friend prefer playing with real people or that just the thing that entertain him, I mean if you are shy and lazy to go to the casino you might just preferred gambling online i mean that is just the same since there are already games online that is live where you could play worldwide.
Indeed, this really depends on each individual in playing their gambling, of course if we gamble too often and they cannot control themselves of course they will experience an addiction to gambling, so it would be better when gambling we can control ourselves to be able to avoid addiction in gambling, because if you have experienced an addiction it will be very difficult to get rid of this habit.
Both physical and online gambling will certainly make us addicted if we continue to play it very often, but if we play it just to entertain ourselves and fill the free time we have, I don't think we will be addicted to gambling.
It indeed depends on each person but I still believe that more gamblers are more addicted due to online gambling. Just recently I was wrecked and I have been thinking about depositing more to take back what I had lost but thankfully I controlled myself to not do it because the chances of me losing more is there.
But, do imagine if I did what I was planning? I cannot even imagine the stress that I will feel upon losing more and I don't want to be in that position. Gamblers who are chasing losses tend to try and bet more until they get what they want which is revenge from that gambling site. They want to win back whatever was lost and that means non-stop playing that could lead to addiction.
Control and discipline are a must, we lose we call it a day and do not try to win it back. Try again tomorrow and maybe it will be a different outcome or maybe after a week or more.
I do agree, sometimes we can't accept that we just lost our money to a game that we bet or to games like slot machine or dice. And so we deposit more and more and then we become addicted. Plus the fact that online games are easily accessible, even maybe after you wake up, you will go on your favorite crypto based casino and then bet on sports or play slots.

So it's a very dangerous world that we are in right now for gamblers, as we need to have a lot of self control so that we wont' fall for the addiction of it. Maybe if we can take a break and forget about it for a while, it might do good for us mentally and not chase those loses and recoup it back.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 27, 2023, 01:37:48 AM
Gambling is for fun, and actually, if someone wants to have fun gambling, there is no way they can spend six hours gambling or even spend the rest of their day gambling.
I don't have the numbers, but I do believed that gamblers can play more than that in one sitting, specially at a land base casinos. And during my height of my gambling days, I can easily play 8 hours straight, baccarat, roulette, machines.

I even see when I comeback, the same people sitting, same clothes and everything and so it means that they could have been playing longer. So there is no time frame for this addicted gamblers, as long as they have the money or produce money to play, they will continue to gamble.

It might be different for casual gamblers though, those who might want to just enjoy. Maybe 1-2 hours online might be a rough estimate.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 27, 2023, 01:23:21 AM
Yes, everyone thinks that Tapales will not last that long, but he did and that is already a big accomplishment for his endurance and really willing to win this fight. You can see that he was really hurt and trying to get up from the canvass. But the pain though, it was very tough to see fellow Filipino again falling to the Monster.

Now, I'm pretty interested on what type of fighting style could beat Inoue.
A bigger and heavier fighter and someone that can take his power with a good chin and doesn't just stand in front of him just like what Tapales did here. Maybe if Inoue decided to go up to 126 lbs or higher he could face someone with this kind of fighter.

Yeah, I know that feeling of seeing a countryman falling victim against the Monster.

But at least he made everyone proud of his performance, he gave everything but the Monster is the best boxer right now.

472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder Vs Parker & Joshua Vs Wallin Boxing Mega Saudi card 23rd December on: December 26, 2023, 06:01:21 AM

Was not able to see the fights but based on the reports, Wilder was just too bad and Parker deserved the win, still a shame as I think that the fight between Joshua and Wilder will not be for any time soon. A great boxer can deliver a knockout punch but can also receive one and Fury is the best example for that.

Most likely he underestimated his opponent and didn't really take it seriously. I think they only want the payment and it was really a surprising event because we never see such fights in one night, especially with these kinds of boxers, especially the heavyweights. they are given huge paychecks and no one could really decline such an offer because mostly they are after the money when they want to fight someone. No one really loss in their fight because they received their payment well and those who won had another chance to get to fight for that country again.

Anyone can speculate that a heavy favorite fighter losing is due to him underestimating his opponnet, but that's not the real case here. Wilder is already scheduled for a bigger fight after that fight and he will be up against AJ, so that fight has a lot at stake for him, its his future in boxing. Now, he's back to the beginning as he won't be able to fight AJ anymore since he lose, and it's not even a close one since he lose via Unanimous decision.

And this was his statement relating to the loss.

https://www.sportskeeda.com/mma/news-deontay-wilder-clears-air-rumored-retirement-statement-shocking-saudi-arabia-loss-joseph-parker

Quote
We came out short tonight. You know what, I don’t know what happened to be honest. My timing was off and I didn’t throw my punches, I didn’t let my hands go like I was supposed to. Sometimes you get like that. But you live to see another fight. You live to see another moment.”
It could be sign that he underestimate his opponents, or didn't try hard, or he train by overtrains.

So for me it could be the case of all this 3, he thought that Parker is going to be easy for him and so he might not train that hard. Or maybe he had train for many weeks already leading to this fight and that's why during fight night, he can't pull the trigger anymore.

It's good to hear that he sounded positive still despite the lost.

But definitely the big fight with AJ is off for now, and you can also hear AJ's voice during the post fight interview that it seems the Wilder let him down with their supposedly mega fight next year in February.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 26, 2023, 05:37:53 AM
Was also a little surprised to see LeBron have a bad game on Christmas, but he almost managed a triple double in the loss so it wasn’t horrible.

Horrible game for the Lakers except for AD who has 40 pts and grabbed 13 boards just like what he needs to be, but that doesn't really matter if the whole team was sloppy on the defensive end. Though the Celtics had a good off and on ball movement, but the Lakers could have done a better defense, turns out the other way around as the Celtics have made too many open shots in different angles. They even let the whole Celtics squad shoot a 3s.
Now, finally LeBron admits they are not in a good condition to compete against top teams, seems like they are stating an obvious fact that they needed an adjustments. Not gonna be surprised if they'll pull another trade and this will involve DLo, Rui, Vando, and even Reaves. Let's see what happens next for the Lakers.

Honestly, I think Celtics has a better lineup, even though they do not have a superstar of LeBron and AD's stature. Lakers do need to make a few trades to get their starting lineup and a deeper, more competent bench. I had my money on Celtics, was a gamble as its Christmas game, Don't really know who's motivated to win and who's not. It worked out, luckily.

They have the better line-up this season, giving Holiday and KP to beef up their roster. It's really hard to understand what's going on with the Lakers after winning the IST, and then the  Spurs beating them to snap their losing streak.

Stayed close with the Celtics in the next 2 quarters, but unfortunately, that's the closest that they can get in this game as the Celtics showing how deep their team is and just going over the Lakers defense in the second half and win.

Phoenix game against the Mavs, Dallas with a slim lead right now.
Suns come back strong in the 3rd,  38-27 to take a one point lead going into the 4th.

So another cliff hanger game we have here guys, let's see if the Suns can hold off the Mavs as Greyson Allen is waxing hot from the 3 with a big 27 points right now. I think it's good to see someone other than KD and Booker leading the way for the Suns.

Luka though, with another great numbers, double double with 38 and 10 already.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 26, 2023, 05:15:06 AM
My bet is also on Asian total under 7.5. I think this is the safest bet for me which offer good odds. Right now, the odds on under 7.5 is even lower at 1.55. When I made my bet it was still 1.60 I think. With a boost, that would be 1.64.

Although I hope that this fight would be a good fight and Tapales will really make it hard for Inoue to grab victory, I'm betting based on objective bases. I think Inoue would knock Tapales out within the first half of the whole fight.

I hope this will not end early, if ever this will end via knockout. The good thing about this fight is that most of the people thinks that this would be an easy fight for Inoue, forgetting that Tapales is also a champion. Tapales is very aware that if he will be too aggressive, this would end early but he should be aggressive but calculated aggressiveness is what he needs and stay away from the ropes.

My bet is this fight to be over 8 rounds, better if this will last the full 12 rounds.
Yeah, lots of speculation from us, we wanted to even last this the whole 12 rounds, but it's hard how Tapales can maintain that against the power of Inoue. And again, this is Japan, so Inoue's homecourt, just look at the picture during weight-in, Inoue just worn a T-shirt but it seems that Tapales is cold with a popper jacker.

I think Tapales could have been affected by the cold weather in Japan right now, I reckon.

But let's see, it all or nothing for Marlon Tapales, he is also gunning for history books as the first Filipino to unify belts in the 4 belt era.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical price of Bitcoin on Christmas Day on: December 26, 2023, 05:01:01 AM
I still remember 2018's price, I mean we are in the bear market that time and If I'm not mistaken, if even goes down below $3k along that month. But during or nearing the Christmas day, we've seen the price going as high as $4k and above and everyone was very happy to at least see the price going to this level. I personally sold some, because you know it's the holiday to I needed some cash that time to make my kids happy.

But yeah, it's possible, maybe next year we are in the six digits already as we will be in the bull after the block halving.

And then we have a lot of good news next year for sure like approval of Bitcoin spot ETF.
476  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 25, 2023, 02:04:28 PM
Those that want to experience $100k will not sell their BTC like the decision you took not to sell now in this bear run because it will not help you to make pretty money from your investment but if you hodl till $2025, you will surely get it right to make big money from your investment.
I am a little doubtful that some investors will continue to hold their bitcoin when the price reaches $100k, almost all investors will be tempted when bitcoin experiences a significant increase and sell at the highest price before going back when the price experiences a correction. Its not easy for holding bitcoin until raising to $100k because when success break out to $60k many investor will sell their bitcoin fund and have plan when getting correction will buy back on lower price.
Personally I doubt with your decision keep holding when bitcoin success raise to $100k and realistic bitcoin up above 20% current price right now many holder will sell without try to hold until raise more higher price again.
Even if I think that once we reach six figures for the first time ever there will be a lot of people that will sell their coins, I also think there will be a lot of people that will keep holding their coins, either because their target price is way above that level or simply because they are long term holders that have no plans on selling their bitcoin no matter how high it could go during this cycle, as their goal is to sell on a future cycle and not this one.
Doesn't matter though if there will be a lot of sellers at six digit, I mean we can understand why they will do that, to make profits. And we all know that this kind of investors could have been holding Bitcoin for a long time or at least this cycle and so they have the right to make profits after their hard work.

And if we have strategy during our accumulation, we could have also a strategy of selling. I mean, for me I would have to sell in small baby steps, maybe sell at $100k, and then if the price continues to $120k-$150k, then sell a bit as well.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 25, 2023, 01:49:44 PM
The Golden State Warriors finally winning most of their games. They are now on their 5th winning streak but later it will be a problem if they will continue that winning streak. They will be up against the strong Denver Nuggets which are also on their 4th winning streak. My worry is who will be defending Nikola Jokic, it could become an easy score for the Nuggets if no one can stop him. I doubt Saric could do the job, he is too small to stop the skillful big and I bet Coach Malone would take advantage of that, without any doubt.

I am amazed at how the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics days ago but that's because they played fire with fire. Considering how good the defense of the Nuggets is, it will be a different fight.
Klay Thompson is on his 6th game 20+ points per game. I think he will be the key for the Warriors to win one more time and continue their streak. It would be a good confidence booster if they did. Still, I am betting for the Nuggets on this game.

Jokic and Gordon inside that's really a headache for the Warriors, knowing how good Jokic in terms of passing the ball or finishing the basket,
the only chance Warriors have is the firepower that they've got, but the next question is how they will execute.

Knowing how good also the Nuggets in terms of protecting the basket and they've got players who can rotate to tail both Curry and Klay.

We can only conclude once they are already playing, the way they will execute both offense and defense will be the key factor here.

We are seeing a different GSW and Denver Nuggets, if before the Warriors can dominate the Nuggets, not this after they won the championship as they already have a deep line up with the Warriors have been inconsistent despite of their win streak. It's a road game for the Warriors, they normally struggle on this situation and they'll challenge the Nuggets who are 11-2 at home, so good luck to them. I don't want myself to be hype with what the Warriors had achieve recently as I'm with the real deal here and that is the Nuggets.
I'm still tore though, I wanted to put a bet on the Warriors as they seems to found a second wind without Draymond Green. But it's true they are struggling in the road and with one of the best team in the West in Nuggets, it's hard to imagine them winning or maybe that point spread is not going to be huge.

Let's see, it's hard to guard Jokic, although they have this kid Trayce Jackson-Davis who might be a good match against Jokic.

But I'm seeing that Jokic will just bring this kid into school if ever the Warriors are going to to put him against Jokic.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith January 13 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: December 23, 2023, 12:13:44 AM
I just check the odds on my favorite sports bookies and I'm not surprised that Smith is close to 4:1 underdog by today's line. Beterbiev is really scary even at his age, he still possesses that knockout power and I don't know how Smith can stay away from that.

Maybe in the first couple of rounds he could avoid it, or maybe Beterbiev is a slow starter. But once he gets on his range and groove on the fight, he simply will steam roll any of his opponents and this could include Smith. And as we can see on those votes, majority of boxing fans thinks that Beterbiev will continue to win by knockout. Of course the fight that we want is him and fellow Russian Bivol next.

Best country to cash out less questions asked ?
It's UK. ? Specially London where everything is easy ?
Many people Even drive there without dl license it's quite relax place i heard that USA not easy place to cash out.
Can the Dubai or spain can better? I mean less taxes Also so i Open company and transfer crypto from exchangers
I think you should look for crypto friend countries and we I think someone already posted what country it is. And it seems that you are looking for EU based as you probably live there. But in any case that you are not, I will say look for Asian countries as well, specially South East Asian countries.

But the lessons here is that at least you know someone from countries that you are going to exchange a few mil of your USD in crypto.

We are talking big money here so you don't want to be scam or get some issues along the way. If you have someone that you know, you will be confident to make that transactions.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Secure your crypto wealth by not having it all in crypto on: December 22, 2023, 12:49:41 PM
I usually have such thought in mind head too, like how do I stay safe from this hacks when I get up to a high amount of assets in my wallet.

So diversification is required whether into a physical asset of virtual asset, my conclusion was hang around having different wallets and split this virtual assets into smaller pieces and move to different wallets to keep hackers eye off one big wallet with alot of cryptocurrencies in it.

I could also diversify into physical asset but taxes and other factors discouraged that decision.

One of the key thing that help to become a successful business man is the ability to diversify one's income. Diversification is just like having a plan B. Having multiple wallet to save your huge crypto asses insist as good as diverting part of your asses into a physical asses. Both can't fail you at the same time.
Just separate everything,

a, hardware wallet for long term
b, we might have crypto wallets in our desktop for our trading, or at long as we are very careful of our online wallets we could be safe
c, diversity, it could be crypto, stocks or any other assets.

The key here is that as you have said, we should have plan B or plan C to survived. Life is getting harder, and if we want to give our family a better life, then we should take care of our money and our investments.
