With the present performance of Manchester United, Bayern Munich does not need to do anything before they can beat Manchester United because even though it is Bayern Munich's second-eleven Manchester United can not still beat them.
Lol, it's that bad. Well i would not disagree with you, it would be a miracle if Manchester United were to qualify, absolutely everything will have to work in their favor, but we all know how difficult it is for things to pan out that way. United do not even deserve to make it out of the group stage, their performances have been extremely poor, and i'd be rooting for Copenhagen to qualify, because they were the underdog in the group that nobody gave any chance, but now they have a huge chance of qualifying for the RO16.
543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: P2P Dusting Attack And How Not to Become a Victim on: December 11, 2023, 06:55:56 PM
and what happened was that my address was replaced with a scammer address which created similar and familiar to my save address, and when I just copied the address and send my coins to that address without checking, and that lead to my coins being sent to a scammer wallet instead of my own wallet, but since then, I have learned my lesson and I can never fall victim to such attack again.
If i understood you correctly, a scammer sent dust into your wallet, from an address that is similar to yours, and when you wanted to send money to yourself, you copied the scammers address instead of yours from your transaction history.

Sorry for whatever you lose then, and good that you now know the right thing to do. For users who do not know, never copy your address from your transaction history, go to the "addresses" tab to get one of your receiving address, or you use the "receive" tab to generate a new address, which is advisable because address reuse doesn't give you any privacy.

How is that good? It's just distrust for services. People withdrawing money because they are scared of losing it, and fear is not good for adoption. Trust is.
If you want a network/system of trust, then use fiat. I don't know about altcoins, but Bitcoin is a trustless network, you don't have to trust any entity and you shouldn't. People withdrawing their money out of centralized exchanges into their own custody is the best decision they can take.
And this is not CEX vs DEX. Dexes and bridges get hacked all the time.
Mind you that "decentralized exchange" is now somewhat of a buzz-phrase, there are quite a lot of services that are anything but decentralized, but they advertise themselves as decentralized services. In a decentralized exchange, there is no single point of failure, and the traders trade directly with their trading partners, and when the exchange does not hodl customers money or data, what is there to hack.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trend or long term projects? on: December 11, 2023, 11:56:44 AM
What is your suggestions about profit from altcoins. Should we rely on only buying long term projects or we should invest according to trend despite of looking that trends coin will have no value in future?
It is hard to talk about long term projects and altcoins in the same sentence, and that's because most altcoins are pump and dump coins.

I think with altcoins, investors have to be looking at the short term, and that means investing in coins due to hype/trend, and when you get some profits, you dump it on the new investors. If you are looking for value or use case, then i am afraid, you have to buy Bitcoin, but if you are a short term investor who's looking for quick pump and profit, buy the trending altcoins.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchange HTX sees outflows top $258M following exploit on: December 11, 2023, 11:41:05 AM
so I urge any users to drain their exchange wallet before a hacker does from HTX.
If they don't lose it through a hack on the platform, then they'd prolly lose it if (or when) the exchange collapses. All of these are indications that the exchange's days are numbered, and that is why quite a lot of people are rightly moving their money out of it, i actually hope that majority of these people are moving these funds into their non custodial wallets and not into another exchange. It is crazy, but people actually do it, one exchange is about to collapse and they withdraw their money into another one, i don't know why it is so difficult for people to understand that they should keep their assets in their non custodial wallets only.

I agree that failure to qualify for the round of 16 or into the Europa League would be the end for Ten Hag. United need different leadership, someone who is smart and more charismatic to create a warmer dressing room environment without any bickering.
Whilst i agree that Erik Ten Hag would be fired sooner or later, i don't think he'd be sacked during the season, maybe at the end of the season. The hierarchy at United would know that sacking Ten Hag mid season wouldn't really help the team, but it would completely flatten the team, and they'll not even have enough time to find the right manager.

Ten Hag has been so poor in handling the dressing room, he has a problem with player management and i don't even know what his footballing philosophies are, he is an average manager at best and he'd prolly go in the summer.

Once again Chelsea failed.
Chelsea are now 12th on the EPL table, if you look at the amount of money they have spent in the last three transfer windows, it is unbelievable that they are in the bottom half of the table. I don't know what Chelsea has to do to get back to winning ways, they have bought young and quality players, they have hired a good manager, but the results are not coming. They were well beaten by an organized Everton side, and here is a small stat to think about, if Everton were not deducted of 10 points, they would have been above Chelsea with 4 points, and they would have been in the top half of the table.

Meanwhile, Emery once again shows his masterclass.
Aston Villa are absolutely flying at the moment, they didn't perform to their best standards today, but they still got the win and the 3 points, that is now 15 consecutive home wins for Aston Villa, that's an unbelievable feat and Unai Emery deserves an awful lot of credit/praise for what he is doing with this Villa team.

Arsenal's loss means Liverpool are the current league leaders after they defeated Palace earlier today, it is so tight at the top of the table and no team is yet to pick up the pace and lead the standings with a good margin, this looks like the sort of season that would be settled by 1 or 2 points, something similar to the 2018-2019 season, when City won the league with 98 points and Liverpool came second with 97 points.
550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Someone Deposited Money Into My Bitcoin Wallet. Can He Withdraw it? on: December 09, 2023, 10:36:30 PM
Laziness, ignorance etc., finding a reason for some things people sell is too much for my taste.
Most of the people who buy a forum account already know one or two things about the forum, i say so because they are buying the account so they can use it to participate in signature campaigns, so they are not really ignorant and won't buy a newbie account with zero merits. They cannot also be so lazy to understand that they can create a new account for themselves if they want to start from scratch, rather than buying a newbie account with no merit.
551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet of Satoshi vanishes from Apple and Google’s US app stores on: December 09, 2023, 10:02:58 PM
I have never heard of this wallet before. Even I was in doubt when I heard the name "Wallet of Satoshi".
Seems like a clever trick from the developers to lure beginners to use this wallet.
No wonder it got removed from the App store.
Wallet of Satoshi is a LN wallet application, and i don't know if their choice of name is anything you say it is, but there is nothing wrong in attracting customers to your service, as long as the service isn't a scam. Mind you that the wallet wasn't completely removed from App store and Google play store, it was removed for U.S. customers because the wallet application no longer offers their service to customers in the United States, due to regulatory requirements and nothing else.
Also more of a warning here, a few weeks ago they stopped offering their apps in the US, nothing stops them from tomorrow cutting access to US IPs or other other parts of the world.
True, and it is essentially not peculiar to just WOS. Any custodial wallet can stop operating at anytime, we can all see how centralized exchanges collapse, so such wallets aren't supposed to be used for hodling funds of a substantial amount, but they are not bad for small amounts and to make micro payments when needed.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 08, 2023, 09:22:38 PM
Yes, it would probably be a real shame for Manchester United to finish last in the group, but I don't remember them achieving any success in European Cups recently. Of course it would be nice for them to finish third to stay in the Europa League, but the chances are really slim.
I am not even sure if United would be happier with a complete elimination from Europe or with elimination down to the Europa League, if they drop out of Europe completely, it gives them a better chance to focus on the EPL and try to finish in the top four. But if you think about it, winning the Europa League gives an automatic qualification into the CL for the next season and a trophy as well, thus since United are not going to compete for the EPL title, they might be happier with a place in the Europa League and try to win it.

Newcastle's team this season is really down compared to last season and they are also inconsistent, I doubt that Newcastle this season will be able to enter the top 4 again like last season.
Newcastle have been very erratic this season, it has been up and down for them, but they have not been doing too badly i must say, they are 7th with 26 points, that is not too bad. Having said that, i also don't think they will make the top four this season, like they did the last time, the race for the top four is going to be tougher this season, with many teams competing for it, Newcastle would definitely be one of those teams, but overall i think the other challengers are stronger and more consistent than them. But certainly Newcastle would be in Europe, prolly the Europa League.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 08, 2023, 10:58:59 AM
Spurs are in decline.
This is the good old Spurs we are used to, the beginning of the season was somewhat unsual, they were winning all their games and we actually thought a title challenge was on the cards, i guess we have to think again. I know they missed and are still missing some of their players to injury and suspension, but that is not enough justification for their bad form. I know Ange is sticking strongly to his philosophies and though i don't see a reason why he should change it, but maybe he shoud tweak things a little bit, they have to defend better and stop losing games when they are in winning positions.

557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 07, 2023, 10:36:51 PM
Everton were deducted of 10 points some weeks ago, and they fell into the relegation zone, today they move out of the relegation zone after an emphatic 3-0 win against Newcastle. Everton fans would be more than delighted with how their team have responded after their points deduction, they are currently 17th, with 10 points and i think things will only get better for them.

Spurs are winless in their last 5 EPL games, 4 losses and 1 draw, they were beating by a solid West Ham team, and all the hopes that spurs would prolly challenge for the title this season have all evaporated out of the window.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 07, 2023, 08:13:16 PM
I said it from the begining of the season, that Manchester City will find it difficult this season because of the players they let go during the summer,in the person Gundogan and Mahrez, two players whose qualities are rare to find in the world.
I think City should have done more in order to try and keep Gundogan in their team, they miss his impact so much in their midfield, Mahrez is also an important player they let go, but i think Jeremy Doku has been a good replacement thus far. But City have failed to replace Gundogan, Kovacic and Nunes are not so good and there is no way they can be replacements for Gundogan.

Right now City do not look themselves and if they continue to play like this, they will find it almost impossibe to retain their title. But it is too early to write off the treble winners, we have seen it happen too many times, were City are behind for a long time and then they start winning games consecutively and end up winning the title, it could happen again.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 06, 2023, 10:46:15 PM
Another home win for Aston Villa in the EPL, that is 14 consecutive home wins for Aston Villa in the Premier League, unbelievable feat. Aston Villa fans are currently living the dream, they are third in the Premier League and playing fantastic football, if they continue playing like this, then they could even finish in the top four.

As for Manchester City, that is 4 games without a win, 3 draws and one loss, and they definitely didn't play like champions tonight, Villa were by far the better team and they deserved to win. City have failed to win a game this season when Rodri was unavailable, it is clear that City cannot do without him, and i can only imagine a scenario where Rodri gets injured, that is disaster for City, i really think they need to go into the market and buy a few players in January.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 06, 2023, 06:17:33 PM
And the match will be held at Aston Villa's home ground at the Villa Park stadium, even though Manchester City are favored, Aston Villa will have the advantage because they will be playing in front of their supporters.
Aston Villa have an unbelievable record at home this season, so this game is going to be very difficult for City to win, to add to the difficulty, City will be missing both Rodri and Grealish to suspension, we are also not sure if Doku would be fit enough to play, he limped off against Spurs and we'd have to wait and see to lineup to know if he is fit and ready to play tonight.

City have to win and close to gap to Arsenal, Aston Villa want also want to win, so they can continue their incredible form at home and also climb above City, it is going to be such an entertaining game from a neutral point of view, but 3 points will be so important for either team.
