5741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and Magnum Wallet! on: December 20, 2019, 04:26:00 PM
Finally, Limx Dev came back with updates and some decoding puzzles for Bitcore community. We have nearly finished a tough year for crypto in general and more terribly for altcoins in particular. Despite of some rallying rounds for bitcoin and altcoins, things are worse for altcoins. But I still have kept my belief on the strong rallies of crypto market and altcoins next year, till the end of the first quarter next year, at least.

Go, BTX.

Can you give me more information on the way to use VPN for android devices, smartphones for example. I have not yet known how to stay private when browsing on mobile. There is no private browsers on mobile as far as I know (I might miscatch something).
5743  Other / Meta / Re: Add "list of topics link" to "Additional Information" part of our profiles on: December 20, 2019, 04:13:00 PM
Or there is a third approach:

After clicking on "Show the last topics started by this person.", we will be automatically directed to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=userid;sa=showPosts.

Then, on that page, we should have two given options at the top:
- See in list of topics.
- See in details of topics

Using bookmarks is better, but still not 100% foolproof. There was a post I read a while ago about a mixing service which had shutdown, and a scammer then purchased the expired URL. Anyone who followed their previous bookmark would now land on a scam site and lose their coins.
Bookmarking is convenient but it is not totally safe because it can be tampered, not only as a result of expired-URLs change hands.
I use bookmark on browsers for unimportant sites, but for important ones, I bookmark them in my head, instead. No one can tamper my memory if there is nothing wrong with my health conditions, seriously.
5745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone can Rank-up! [Motivational Thread from a noob] on: December 20, 2019, 03:56:20 PM
I recommend OP to edit the term Mega thread to Spam Mega thread, that is more fitted with what usually happens in Mega thread. Most of posters join Mega threads to spam and get post counts.
5746  Other / Meta / Re: To the attention of the Mods and Admins, account farms abusing bounty. on: December 19, 2019, 01:45:14 AM
Nuking a user means that a mod can, with a single click, delete all user's messages and ban him immediately.
But it only works on newbies.
What does it mean?
From what you wrote, I imagine that nuke is only applied for newbies by moderators and above; or nuke is applied for all ranks but moderators are only allowed to nuke newbies and for higher ranks only global moderators or admins can nuke them.

Can you clarify my question, please.

5748  Other / Meta / Re: How Do I Delete Comments In Self-Moderated Threads? on: December 18, 2019, 01:26:52 AM
If your thread is a self moderated, you will see some lines at the top:
Quote
This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic. (X posts by Y users with Z merit deleted.)
If your thread does not show it, it means yours is non-self-moderated one.

Self-moderation must be identified when you initially create your threads, you can modify and add that option after creating your threads.

Maybe you created your thread as a self-moderated, but if you move it to boards that do not allow self-moderated threads; yours will become non-self-moderated one. Nevertheless, I don't see it is your situation.
5749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recommend trading strategies sites on: December 17, 2019, 11:56:23 AM
As a newbie I can't argue that much but I still think there are similarities in basics. I have read a book for fore beginners and i started to understand what is going on. Of course that doesnt mean i know how to trade at all, but I think it gave me knowledge, to begin with.
In practice, they are difference but you started well as you said. Technically, in cryptocurrency tradings, technical analyses do not help much, in particular for altcoins. Instead of technical analyses, you should stick with fundamental analyses.

Another reminder is that you should start to trade with very minor part of your capital. Why? I am sure that most of starters will lose most or all of their capital in their very first months, first one or two years so beginning with very minor part of your capital will give you second, third, fourth chances to trade & learn & grow up. If you start to trade will all capital, you will lose all with your 'first' trading mistake.
5750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2019, 05:52:24 AM
I don't think that Atalanta is going to proceed more in the tournament.
They have made an amazing performance so far but know out games require experience and Valencia has more of that.
They might win but the odds is very low. Everything can happen in sports. Valencia is stronger certainly but they are not too strong to 100% win over Atalanta. All teams can be beaten by the other weaker teams. Like last season, no one thought Tottenham could beat Manchester City. There is odds for that but I bet on Valencia.
5751  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recommend trading strategies sites on: December 17, 2019, 05:30:17 AM
when you are trying to use the suggestions try to learn "trading" not "cryptocurrency trading" because you will find a lot more resources and they are a lot better.
Your reply reminds me to the fact that there are significant differences between traditional markets (stocks, forex, ie.) and cryptocurrency market. If ones learn about tradings on traditional markets then bringing all knowledge they learned and skills they practiced into the cryptocurrency market, I am sure that they will mostly end with failures and dramatical loses.
5752  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: December 17, 2019, 02:40:30 AM
Damn the first winner wagered more than 125btc, I think it is the first time I see someone wagered that much at Wolfbet during the race. It is like a sign that more whales are coming soon which will be good for Wolfbet. Once more whales come, I think Wolfbet will offer bigger race. Perhaps like weekly or monthly race with bigger prizes.
The participations of big whales are somewhat signals for the growths of Wolf.bet and reflect the rises of Wolf.bet's reputation too. Whales don't take risks at non-reliable sites with their huge funds like that. I think we can say congratulations for Wolf.bet with this whale participation in the last wagger round. If it can be maintained in next rounds of wagger contest, the Wolf.bet will have stable growths.
5753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2019, 02:35:53 AM
Atalanta vs Valencia - The surprise package for this season, I expect Atalanta is surprise Valencia and proceed on to the next round
Your predictions mostly match with mine, except for the match between Atalanta and Valencia. Atalanta has very successfully performed in their first season in Champions League (after their another most surprising ending at the 4th position in the Serie A last season). Nevertheless, Valencia is a big club and has lots of experience in Champions League as well as Europa League, the top leagues in the Europe, I meant. They will know how to set up traps and beat Atalanta. Another disadvantage of Atalanta is their limited player resources that will do affect their general performance in some most important period of this season (injuries, exhausted physiscal fitness, and so on).

Don't forget One of the Best Weapons in Trading.
I will save you life in some terrible crashes of the market. I don't call crashes are doomsdays of the crypto market, but those weapons can reduce your temporary loses and at the same time give you greater opportunities to enrich your portfolios.

5756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obyte: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 16, 2019, 03:22:53 PM
yeah it looks like this. Only few old coins did well over all time. The rest are shine, die and replaced by new.
Obyte shine time is ended in 2018. Even if this is not the end of crypto, this is the end of obyte
It is too soon to say like that. Next year will mark the first four years of Obyte and it will be an interesting year, not only because of Obyte itself but also because of crypto market in general. Altcoins which have good internal sources will do rally next year. I have never lost my belief in Obyte.

If you look at the market with neutral perspective, you will see most of altcoins have fallen deeply more than 80 percent from their all time highs. Fortunately, this year is not the end for them, and not a dead year for all; strong survivors will do have another opportunity to shine again, next year.
5757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 16, 2019, 03:08:34 PM
THE FUTURE IS HERE
It is more interesting and more informative if you or anyone else can include the total net effects of all nodes on each cryptocurrency network. How many percent all nodes account for on each network? I think the figure is somehow help us to imagine the roles of nodes to secure networks, keep them being as much decentralized as possible, and reduce risks of replay attacks.

Full nodes, masternodes, service nodes, whatsoever nodes, they are help to secure networks and maintain decentralizations of networks.
5758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: December 16, 2019, 02:34:25 PM
Dogecoin flies to 100 satoshis, please don't make me crazy with that dream. I have only planned to take profits with my Dogecoin around 60 satoshis, that likely a big challenging at the current bearish period of the whole crypto market. Bitcoin has struggled at low range and most of altcoins have still lost from 80 prcent to more than 90 percent from their all time highs. That is very a big challenge for them to come back.
5759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2019, 02:12:42 PM
Dortmund vs PSG
Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Atalanta vs Valencia
Atletico vs Liverpool
Chelsea vs Bayern
Lyon vs Juventus
Tottenham vs Leipzig
Napoli vs Barcelona
Among all those teams, only Tottenham, Juventus and Barcelona seem to have significant advantages against their competitors. Atalanta, with their first season in Champions League still have a lucky match with Valencia, but it is hard to say they can win against Valencia. For the rest pairs, any team can win and it is so hard to predict which teams will win.

If I have to choose, I will choose PSG, Manchester City, Valencia, Liverpool, Bayern, Juventus, Tottenham, and Barcelona.

To be survived in crypto market, the vital thing you have to learn is FUD. What is FUD?
Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.

Don't trade if you don't afford to lose your money.
Don't use margin trade (that is more popular recent months) if you don't afford to lose your money fastly, in a blink of eyes, due to shady manipulations from whales and exchanges.
Don't trade with assets you don't have enough knowledge (after indepth investigations).
It's better to avoid trading with too young assets (less than four years old).
