581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join best bounty and earn money? on: September 03, 2023, 09:44:17 PM
I don't understand there are so many bounty in bounty section. Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?
They are using attractive/promising words in order to encourage viewers to invest in their promoted project. Indeed, that was their job but of course, it was your part to do research in order to validate if that was true or fake promotion. If could just think about the current situation, there are plenty of bounties in the market, and sad to say only a few of them are worth investing in while the majority are scams and useless projects. And if you are lazy enough not to do research or just simply follow these influencers, do not wonder why you fall into scam projects.

[....]
If Davis weren't injury-prone, I would choose him over Giannis because, in my opinion, Davis is smarter than Giannis. Based on my observations, Davis doesn't easily panic, and he loves to take the last shot. But when it comes to Giannis, he seems too predictable. I would compare Davis to LeBron, as both are gifted with great physique but aren't that clutch in crucial moments.
You give credit to Davis for loving to take the last shot on one end but you also said at the end that he isn't clutch. I don't know but that really sounds confusing to me.

Sorry about that, it was a typo error. I was using Giannis and LeBron as examples because both are very dominant big men who can defend well but aren't great shooters, especially in crucial moments. Giannis tends to get flustered when faced with double or triple teams, making it easy to beat him if opponents exploit this weakness, as the Heat did. As for LeBron, his shooting percentage seems to decrease in crucial moments, which is why he often chooses to pass the ball and let his teammates take the last shot. This way, he avoids blame in case the shot fails.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2023, 01:14:21 PM
Correct! Why bother to trade your superstar with someone who is known to be an injury-prone player? that's make no sense at all.

Though on some side both are really playing great and the impact is not by far but investment wise, for me, I'll rather
add more money for Giannis' deal instead of letting him go.

Giannis is an all-around player and if he will play with someone who can meet his level of competitiveness, chance that
they may win another title is still possible.

If Davis wasn't injury-prone, then a 1-to-1 trade would make sense since both players are good enough. I would even say that a healthy Davis is slightly better than Giannis in terms of defense. However, the reality is that Davis' value has dropped significantly due to frequent injuries, and such a deal would clearly not interest the Bucks. For comparison, Giannis played 719 games in 10 seasons, while Davis only played 660 games in 11 seasons.

If Davis weren't injury-prone, I would choose him over Giannis because, in my opinion, Davis is smarter than Giannis. Based on my observations, Davis doesn't easily panic, and he loves to take the last shot. But when it comes to Giannis, he seems too predictable. 584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: September 03, 2023, 11:23:34 AM
Might AI coins will soon to hype but probably not this time, not this year. Not really a bad decision to buy these coins but if thinking that it will be bullish, I still don't think so. I would say that we must act cautiously when investing in new projects, they are not yet tested so it was hard to tell and overthink what would happen to them. Still, the best thing to do and it is quite safer is to invest in top altcoins. We don't need to rush nor we can compare them to meme coins which really gain attention and massive short-term investors and think that it will occur to AI coins.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: September 03, 2023, 10:32:33 AM
30k is a scary amount to invest in altcoins even if you know that an altcoin boom is coming in the horizon, I've learned my lesson about altcoins last season so I don't want to repeat the same mistakes, I'm better off just waiting for my bitcoin to grow and hopefully sell it at a favorable price and then hopefully get in quickly to it. OP's plan is feasible and attractive to follow but that will be the possible scenario if all the stuff that OP mentioned exactly happened and we know that the cryptocurrency market is a volatile market and you will never know what's going to happen even if you are good at market analysis.
Indeed it is scary if you are investing in new projects but if you are investing in ETH, you are going to have peace of mind. But yes, $30k is quite huge enough to put into a risky investment even though we know that ETH can be trusted or ideal for long-term investment. If ever I have that amount in hand, I will put some amount to other form in investment or start a business as in the case that we lose in crypto, we still have other way to recover those losses from other investment and income resources.
586  Economy / Speculation / Re: what a surprise dip on: September 02, 2023, 09:31:09 PM

Sometimes you may need money and then you may need to sell Bitcoin. Except in such a case, it is a wrong decision to sell if the price of bitcoin is below the price you bought. We must learn to wait in this market and to trade when the time comes.
You can unless you have another source of income but for those who have not and see selling their Bitcoin as the last option, we can't hold them back. This is what happens to some holders, they're selling not because they are panicking but because of some emergencies and they are badly in need of money.
Quote
When you panic and sell when the market is falling, you want the price to drop more. Sometimes it can be like this, but after every drop in Bitcoin, the price increases. At the very least, selling by paying attention to support and resistance can reduce some of your losses.
When there is a huge selling volume, it will badly affect the price a reason why we can see an instant drop in prices. But if we absolutely trust Bitcoin, I don't think it will come to this point -panicking instead, we remain calm and ignore the dump because we believe that it has risen again.
587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take your eyes off from the fall in price on: September 02, 2023, 01:43:33 PM
Fall of price is a common thing that will always take part in the market, their is no point to get panic when the  market goes down.
Perhaps it was a common thing but some people hardly understand the situation and even think that every price fall is a sign of more falls to come which makes them panic and upload their coins. It was definitely wrong but some people stance their wrong insights until such time they will find it by themselves that they are wrong. Sadly, some people need to commit big mistakes before knowing that it is a wrong decision.
Well, anyway, it was been told that experience is a great source of learning and this is really what happens to most of us.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 02, 2023, 12:55:30 PM
A good start for the Philippines, currently leading by 7 points and keeping China scoreless. This could be the night they secure their first win as they are currently 0-3. I hope the Philippines can finally achieve victory tonight; it's much needed to reduce criticism, especially as the host country, and being winless so far.

Best of luck to the Philippines in securing this final win!

Yes, they should be fighting here, at least get one win and that's it and bury this as a learning experience for the team. Slight lead for them at the half. And it should boost their confidence here.

The Filipino fans are still supporting Gilas no matter what, even if they boo their own coach which is very weird. I guess someone has to be blame though, and usually it is the coach.

It has been an entertaining game so far, and both teams seem to have a good understanding of each other's strategies. The first half has concluded with China holding a one-point lead. In this tournament, the Philippines tends to struggle in the second half, but they can't afford that now if they want to secure a win in this competition. The Philippines' persistent issue with three-point shooting seems to persist, but fortunately, China is also struggling in this regard. However, it's worth noting that China's free throw performance is significantly better than the Philippines', so the home team needs to address this aspect as well.

590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience as a beginner trader on: September 02, 2023, 11:43:02 AM
As a beginner, you often lose than gain from your trades. And it’s very frustrating on part of these newbies because no matter how they try to timing the market, they still end up losing. Perhaps because of lack of knowledge and experience that made them easily lose from their trades, and because they still pursue trading even if the market is not siding on them, or the market does not favor their trades. But to be honest, this is just a test for them if they can actually take bigger risk in trading and afford bigger losses from their trades. If they easily quit because of initial losses, then it only proves that they’re not really bound to be effective traders.
And that is the problem for most newbies because what is in their minds is that they think trading would be easy and when they fail and suffer losses, they will then think about quitting. I admit that I was also in that situation before but I realized that there are no easy things in trading, we can earn success by working hard. Quitting will just be an option when we really feel that we have no chance at all, when we could see that there is no improvements happen despite the hard work we did.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to collect altcoins now or later? on: September 01, 2023, 09:01:38 PM
Planning about collection some MORE altcoins and thats why i manage extra money for that. But market situation is still confusing and today Altcoins dump minimum 10% even more. So is it really right to collect altcoins?  Or another dump will be coming before bull run? Should i postponed my invest or not? I post this in speculation sector cause we can only predict!  And I'll go with the most predicted result
Perhaps, it was not confusing but what is in your mind is that you are thinking what if the price drops more? Well, you must be aware also that drops is inevitable so never think more about it as it only affects your mindset and turns negative. If I were you, focus on your goal, and take this opportunity while the price is low. You don't need to worry about it as long as you are buying only potential coins because I was sure that it would recover someday. You will never fail as long as you are also patient.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: September 01, 2023, 02:52:01 PM

If Charlo wins then no changes for what Crawford desires, he will face instead the winner and proceed to his own timeline.

But technically speaking, although everything is possible to happen including an upset win by Charlo, I don't see any advantages he can use against the prime Canelo. I remember when Bivol was facing Canelo, only a few believed that the former would win but the result didn't say the same. I can't apply that same scenario to Charlo facing Canelo.

Anyway, let's wait for the winner of the Canelo-Charlo bout and speculate everything from there.

Both the players Charlo and Crawford had their equal opportunities to win the game. The players should try equal try to win the game. The game between Bivol and Canelo itself explain the exact situation now.The crowd opinion is Canelo, but the same was changed at the end.Bivol win the game with the support of the judges.I hope same will not happen now to Canelo.Even now the crowd opinion will be Canelo compared to the Crawford. When you compared the support of 100 people in the community, the seventy people will support Canelo.

It's all Bivol though and not on the judges hand, on the contrary they could have cheated Bivol in that fight as the scores is very close. But I guess they understood that they change the score to favor Canelo because that will be madness and there will be a controversy in it.
Will be interesting though what Charlo will look at 168 lbs, looking at the pictures doing their face-off, he is taller than Canelo.
So there is still room for him to make more weight to be able to make the Super middleweight class.
Although Canelo is stockier build and so his frame looks big as compare to Charlo.

We'll have to wait and see, but Canelo has proven to be virtually unbeatable in his current division. This makes it highly unlikely that Charlo will upset him in their upcoming fight. It's possible that Charlo might consider moving up in weight classes after this bout, where he could potentially dominate in a heavier division.

In the current division, it appears that Canelo reigns supreme, and he seems to be eagerly waiting for a formidable challenge. One fighter who could provide that challenge is Crawford, who is very popular and might attempt to defeat Canelo to make history. The prospect of a Canelo vs. Crawford match is indeed intriguing, even if it means that Crawford would have to climb three weight divisions, which is a significant risk. However, Crawford is known for being a risk-taker, so we'll have to trust in his abilities.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 01, 2023, 02:09:49 PM
I would like to see Jerwin becoming champion again but I actually voted for Takuma by decision. Jerwin is going to get schooled if he is not bringing something new to his technique.

He faced two losses against the same opponent, Fernando Daniel Martinez. Given that Takumi's upcoming opponent might have a different fighting style, there might not be a pressing need for him to change his own style. Both camps will undoubtedly study their opponent and develop a strategy they believe will work best.

Honestly, I haven't observed anything particularly exceptional from Takumi, and despite Jerwin facing some challenges lately, I still believe he has what it takes to be victorious in this match.

In my opinion, this is a 50/50 fight. While I'll be betting on Ancajas, it's evident that most voters here are his supporters. However, it's important to note that this won't be an easy challenge for Ancajas, given that Inoue is the current champion and fighting in Japan. Although it's a long shot, I'm hoping that Ancajas will aim for a knockout victory. That would not only make him popular again but also potentially rejuvenate his career, which has seen some setbacks after two losses.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: September 01, 2023, 01:32:39 PM

      -  As much as possible, apart from Bitcoin, the matic, Bnb, Ada, Sol, Shibdao, and Shib, and even Pepe Coin, I will hold it because, according to my observation, it follows the steps of Bitcoin's movement. Its volume cannot be said to be small because it is still large, although it has decreased compared to before.

I was surprised to see Pepe coins in your list of coins to hold. Well, for me, I don't do that because for several years that I've been here in the crypto space, I'd never see any meme coins rallied out during Bull season. It was too risky to do it mate but of course, it was your view and project insights which literally we all have different likes and criteria. Well, I won't say it was not good but must be careful about this project because it was only a few projects that rise after their hype as most of them dump.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 31, 2023, 12:00:02 PM
Are we going to see Abando here getting more minutes?

It's important to include Abando, as he brings valuable energy to the team, which is essential against South Sudan's taller roster. While this might not be the most captivating matchup, it's still a game that holds significance. Our brand of basketball is on the line here, considering our team comprises NBA player, PBA players, and overseas-based imports, collectively representing the best in the Philippines. Sustaining a string of losses isn't something we can afford given the lineup's caliber.

I'm uncertain whether I'll place a bet on the Philippines or simply watch the game without any wagers, opting to enjoy it instead.

Maybe I'll just take the right timing in live betting, I don't know.  Smiley
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 31, 2023, 11:18:27 AM
South Sudan are big men. We all saw how Puerto Rico had a rough time with them. Philippines would better find a way to get those rebounds if they want to win against them.

That's been a persistent issue for the Philippines – they often struggle with rebounding in most of their games, and their 3-point shooting percentage is lacking. It's possible that this South Sudan team shares similarities with Angola, known for strong defensive play combined with aggressiveness. The Philippines has previously faced challenges against teams that excel in outside shooting, and it remains uncertain whether the South Sudan team possesses similar proficiency in long-range shooting.

However, should South Sudan opt to focus their offense on the inside, and if they manage to execute successfully, it could potentially result in a decisive victory for them.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 28, 2023, 01:25:44 PM
Submit your identity and wait for approval, do not be in haste to make deposit first, because the identity you submitted without a green approval from the team can still be rejected, take your time to get the passed approval first before proceeding with gambling.
If this is a requirement with the site then its better to comply especially if you want to gamble smoothly and get your money out without any hassle.
Although there are still cases that even if you comply with their KYC and manage to deposit some funds but if you are going to withdraw your winnings there are still chance that the site will ask for other KYC and usually this is where many experience a problem, its either about the restrictions of the site or you can't comply with the additional requirements.
They will only ask you for additional information once they notice an unusual event in your account. But I can't blame them either especially for reputable gambling sites because what they want is to keep their site out of illegal activities/transfers which could ruin their reputation as well. That is why if we are afraid to comply with our KYC, better not to try gambling sites that require this. This explain how important is to read their rules before using their platform in order to avoid misunderstanding and withdrawal problems.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 28, 2023, 12:38:05 PM
First cockfighting isn't ethical and is considered as a criminal activity. But since everyone is free to do anything here as long as it's not breaking any rules. I never seen any gambling website that offer this kind of activity since it's not considered as a sport or a game. Animals fights since they are organized by people it can be challenging with government rules that can stop that place and shut it down with the website.
I don't think there are any casinos that offer such things.
Indeed, we think it was not right and it is criminal activity but guess what, this is allowed in our country as long as it is legally operated. In fact, many rich people here in my country are involved in cockfighting, they spend millions if possible to have a number of roosters to be used for the game. But I'd never heard of or found any betting sites that promote cockfighting. You can bet this if you are in the arena where you can see an actual cockfighting and you can really see a lot of gamblers are there.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 28, 2023, 11:44:21 AM
Yes, gambling could create bad influence on the people around, but unknowingly, the huge taxes the country is collecting from gambling is a great help like what lottery gambling is contributing in building transportation and health infrastructures that the citizens are clearly benefiting. That’s why no matter how gambling addiction can be detrimental to the people, still number of gambling casinos continue to arise every year because the country’s government is benefiting from it.

That is the truth in most of Western Europe at least, the tax from gambling is huge and it benefits directly the government in offering better public services to the citizens of such country. They know that gambling can get people into bad addiction but I think that most governments clearly call it a "collateral damage" which is providing much more benefits to the government than the damage it is doing to some few individuals and as such that is the reason that most gambling casinos continue to operate without any restriction in Western Europe at least this is the case.I would agree with this,to let casinos operate while the government benefits from huge taxes they collect for them and for those few addicted individuals, well no one told them to gamble and become addicted,no one forced them,it was their choice in the end.
They are doing this not only for the benefit of the government but also to protect gamblers to become addicted and overspend their money.
In my country, gambling is welcome as long as you have legal papers and permits, authorities will let you run a business with reasonable taxes. It Might said that it creates bad attributes for the community making some people fall in love with gambling but aside from that, this will also give happiness and jobs to others.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: August 28, 2023, 10:13:51 AM
I hope Inoue will be able to watch this fight and then step up to the stage to challenge Casimero, hehe.

Well, obviously, this isn't a championship fight, and I think Casimero has a higher ranking compared to Oguni. So, I wouldn't expect Casimero to lose. Instead, I would just anticipate Casimero having an impressive victory to further fuel people's excitement about a potential match between him and Inoue.

You can check the rankings here: https://www.boxingscene.com/rankings. I don't see the name Oguni there, so it's possible that this fighter isn't well-known yet.
