601  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chain.so on: July 09, 2019, 03:10:13 PM
Is this block explorer legit?

The list of recent blocks at https://chain.so/dash is quite different from what I see on other block explorers.

Looks like the dash chain is no longer being maintained by chain.so, as they're 30k blocks behind, but yes they are "legit" - as in they do display the right blockchain data for other blockchains, eg the bitcoin one still works fine, https://chain.so

For dash, use https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/ instead as your main block explorer. I'm pretty sure they're accurate.
602  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this cloud farm-mining.com website a scam? on: July 09, 2019, 02:09:43 PM
@examplens

I think you totally misunderstood it.
That thread I recommended is about how to identify scam cloud mining sites.
😶
It's quite simple actually, you should regard any cloud mining site as a scam, or rather a way to pry money from most investors.

Even sites such as bitdeer are a scam, much less blatant obviously, but they do change their rig prices, and completely suck you dry in the end, often leaving you with less bitcoin than you started with.
Why wouldn't bitdeer mine themselves with their rigs if it were so profitable as they make it out to be? They're simply dumping all the risk on their "investors"(or rather- virtual rig buyers) while they reap the harvest virtually risk free.

Verified - found your staked print - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159946.msg14636738#msg14636738

Imported it with your message into kleopatra- seems to check out.

I'll tag your account, but i think some sort of flag is more appropriate. - not sure which one though.  Undecided.
604  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Mixer (Tumbler) - Secure Your Privacy. MixerTumbler.com on: July 09, 2019, 11:27:09 AM
Hello dear community,

We analysed main competitors and took the best practises from other bitcoin tumblers to improve our service.

Also we decreased service fee to 1%-3%. Try it now!
Such as?

I also think you're quite deceptive quoting a bunch of random articles about bitcoin mixing that have nothing to do with your particular service, only to then act as if they do..  Undecided

- I am puzzled as for using Cloudfare as SSL and CDN too, the SSL certificate isn't a full SSL, just a flexible that belongs to CloudFlare (randomssl.cloudfare.com) and there is no encryption between (?) .
Any mixer using cloudflare nameservers raises big red flags to me. @OP, why do you do this? -- https://who.is/whois/mixertumbler.com

The site's frontend looks decent but i'm not that certain that the backend and privacy are preserved that well too.

Edit:
Why do you have

A. fake testimonials on your website
and
B. broadcast fake randomly generated mixing messages every X minutes?
605  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit Support on: July 09, 2019, 10:34:09 AM

I didn’t get any answers, I don’t have enough status to write a personal message, can someone help me and write a personal message to them here on the forum? I will provide a screenshot with balances, date, amount, and address of the last replenishment, and date of registration. This is my only chance to stay alive.
Their last post was months ago and as far as i know they don't respond to PM's on bitcointalk.

Best thing you can do probably is either contact them on twitter, ( i always see support staff in the comments of their "official" account tweets.), or try to contact them on https://t.me/yobitnet

Also, in the future, don't use yobit. Use Binance instead.

Thank you for the possible options to save my life !!! Peace to your home !!

I thank everyone who helped me, my request to reset 2FA authentication was accepted and processed !!!!!! Guys, thank you so much and kowtow for hints, support and feedback! All the best to you !!!!!

You didn't mention the most important part  Undecided. On which mediums exactly did you contact them and on which of them did they respond to you? Was it twitter, telegram or?

Might come in handy for other people in the near future.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Man in the middle (mitm) on Bticoin Core? on: July 08, 2019, 03:32:32 PM
Yes attacks similar to this are (correct me if i'm wrong) possible which is why i think there is a warning displayed when you're trying to use RPC with Bitcoin core;

Code: (https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/release-notes/release-notes-0.18.0.md)
Listening for RPC commands over a public network connection is insecure and should be disabled, so a warning is now printed if a user selects such a configuration.

608  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Effective use of Personal Message- Tutorial on: July 07, 2019, 11:40:37 AM
Thanks for the guide. I would like to ask, if someone knows if it possible to make messege “unread” again after it was read? I’m used to situation at work, that when something is unread - then it is not done.

On a regular mail UI i can read the task in the mail, make it unread on continue working or doing the task. When the task is done, I simply replay on email. It is ok when you receive 5-10 email a day, but when you receive hundrets, there is change to forget to do something.

I was wondering if this can be performed on the forum.
Not possible as far as i'm aware. Well, i've not yet been able to find such a feature, so if it's actually there, it's hidden quite well.

You can of course send a PM to yourself and then close the tab. quite unorthodox though.
609  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: "BANKDEX LIFE INSURANCE" on: July 07, 2019, 11:15:02 AM
We believe that having a peaceful mind enables our users to carry out their exchanges more efficiently. Hence, BankDex aims to insure its traders through special circumstances.

More Info on www.bankdex.io

Where on your site do you refer to offering life insurance?

Anyway it's quite the epitome to get life insurance with a shitcoin ico. Sums up everything that's wrong in this crypto space.

(I sincerely hope something got lost in translation because you're not seriously telling me you're starting an ICO to offer life insurances to people with crypto, right?)
610  Other / Meta / Re: Inconsistent flags on: July 06, 2019, 03:35:18 PM

Not everyone, just DT1 members should be
Why?

Imagine a situation when one DT1 member is threatening a regular user with certain negative consequences (which obviously involves raising a trust flag) for doing something or refraining for doing something while another DT1 member is openly opposing these threats

This is an obvious conflict and the solution is to blacklist one of these members
Threatening as in blackmailing someone? I'm pretty sure if someone in DT1 were to be found extorting regular forum members, they'd be excluded of DT1 pretty damn quickly.

Or is that not what you're referring to? If it's a subjective matter; one DT1 member finds it immoral what X forum member does, and another DT1 member doesn't, i don't see a problem really? The community will outvote either of parties, therefore settling the "communal opinion" of the matter?

I see blacklisting any party who has a different opinion about certain matters as something that will lead to nothing but a monotonous trust system. - ...

Although that's already largely the case. Whether that's a bad thing, i don't necessarily think so.
611  Other / Meta / Re: Inconsistent flags on: July 06, 2019, 03:26:11 PM

Not everyone, just DT1 members should be
Why?

It just seems counterproductive as the only thing that'll lead to is self-censorship, DT members being afraid to voice their opinions, and even more ass licking.
612  Other / Meta / Re: Inconsistent flags on: July 06, 2019, 03:23:31 PM
In my view, there is certain inconsistency in DT1 members being in opposition to each other. Not that it is something which should be avoided at all costs, rather their disagreement should render the issue unresolved by default until there is such agreement
I don't understand why though...? Why does everyone needs to be in agreement at all times?

Just.. no?

613  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which Mixer is getting axed next? on: July 06, 2019, 02:59:12 PM
@TryNinja is right. I don't even know what is an illegal or legal mixer. And the funny thing is: which laws do they break? Money laundering? But the government don't want to consider Bitcoin as a legal currency!

Are there any illegal banks? Because I know for fact they participate in money laundering massively, it's well documented and can't be denied (some even accepted publicly) but what happened to them? A small fine at best and they're still here.

Honestly, the only thing which you can call "laundering" about a mixer is that it layers the bitcoin, but as it isn't even recognized as a currency, i'd say this does not even come close to calling it "Money Laundering".

And; is layering money as a single procedure even illegal? I'm not so sure.
614  Economy / Services / Re: 10 FREE SPOTS for BITMEX TRADING BOT ARMY - 🔥 JULY 2019 🔥 on: July 06, 2019, 11:44:51 AM
Yup, a broken clock
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148727

WHAT IF, i post the trade in here, on your god damn face ? would you believe it?

SHORT
ENTRY:
10923

EXIT1: 10804
EXIT2: 10751
EXIT3: 10725
EXIT4: 10549

STOP: 11369

So, how did that trade work out for you? Seems like you've hit a stop there, didn't you?

EXIT1 never got hit, the lowest it got was 10805.. So much for your bot making all the right trades without risk.. How much did you lose here? I imagine you're quite leveraged up.

615  Economy / Services / Re: 10 FREE SPOTS for BITMEX TRADING BOT ARMY - 🔥 JULY 2019 🔥 on: July 05, 2019, 07:41:24 PM
And for those interested,
this is how a bot manages risk and lets you earn 6% of your bankroll in a couple hours while you play with monkeys

6% when bitcoin makes 10-20% movements every day proves absolutely nothing, nada. you could've just gotten lucky.

I will make a website that keeps track of the trades so i don't have to fight every time i open a thread.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Untill then i won't up this thread anymore, if anyone is interested in joining the army can contact me via pm

Ps. my bot uses market orders and hidden limit orders, there's no way to copy it, except if i make it open source. That's not even considering multilevel entry.
Why not use /position in the bitmex trollbox with your actual position sizes whenever you open a trade, then archive.is that, and put it on your website instead of these crumble trades that prove nothing except that a broken clock is right twice a day?

(Although, you could fake that as well. Still, it does show whether or not your bot makes the right trades. (spoiler alert: it won't because no one knows whether BTC goes up or down..))

http://archive.is/h45K3

Oh wait, you won't because you can't. you are a broken clock..

Anyway, there is 0 benefit in you sharing this tool if it were actually generating compound interest for you, so... you're either trying to dump insane risk onto your customers, outright scamming them, or generating compound interest out of the good of your heart?
Which one is it.. hm.

Quote
I'm not here to convince anyone, the bot will do that, i'm offering a chance to invest and gain in a passive way without the stress that comes from leverage trading.
What do you mean..? There's no risk, no stress? ....
616  Economy / Exchanges / Re: This transaction is a fraud on: July 05, 2019, 03:51:53 PM
i scanned with malwarebytes, spyhunter, eset, hitmanpro... nothing of suspect found!!!
is it time to be quiet?

Perhaps the credentials you used for your Yahoo and kraken account were both leaked in some database for another website you registered for?

Or, the adware was, as blankcode described, enough already for an attacker to keylog your pc or your browser.

You can check some databases with your email here, https://haveibeenpwned.com to see if that's the culprit.

If not, it might be smart to completely format your harddrive. (It might be smart to do that anyway.)
617  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM REPORT [BITTREX] on: July 05, 2019, 02:48:56 PM
Maybe you should've read their Terms of Service before you started using them.
I'm not entirely sure what happend to OP, but i also got my account locked without prior warning, back in 2017 it first happend on bittrex, and after some time poloniex followed.

Even if it was stated somewhere in their TOS that they could lock any account for any reason (Which i don't think was at the time, and i doubt that that's legal anyway), it still is completely untrustworthy behavior to do this without prior warning to your customers to give them a chance to withdraw.

It's not like i'm going to submit anything at this point either;
This is not the first time Bittrex has had KYC-related issues. Earlier, during the market peak, the exchange had troubles with leaked passport information, apparently from sending out passport files through unencrypted email. KYC procedures were hastily adopted, and users have expressed concern that some of the operators were inadequate or unprofessional. Additionally, fears of information abuse, selling and using passport data to create multiple accounts have been mentioned on social media.
618  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin Fog: Secure Bitcoin Anonymization on: July 05, 2019, 01:43:47 PM
God, I can't calm down. I sent them some bitcoin not long ago. When I quit, the bitcoin in the fog disappeared, but did not reach any address! I still have dozens of coins that need this hybrid service. I need to clean up in a short time to get fluidity. The first time a small amount of bitcoin returned to the fog, I successfully took out my coin, and when I made another second remittance (not too much, about tens of thousands of dollars), the same thing happened! Bitcoin has disappeared from the fog! I haven't reached any of my wallets yet, the transaction didn't happen, there is no record in the blockchain, I gave this feedback to the administrator, I think it will solve my problem soon, just like the first time, but no, I have feedback many times and have not got any answers. This makes me very anxious. I want to ask if this happens often? Or what has been indicated?

The OP of this thread has last been online 3 years ago.

I can't imagine that this service is still running without problems. Why you decided to send tens of thousands of coins to this service i haven't even ever heard of before baffles me.

Quote

Why not use a mixer that has a reputable track record?

Where did you send your coins to anyway? the clearnet site seems to be down .. ? http://www.bitcoinfog.com --- 404.
619  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinBox beta version [ NEED SOME REVIEWS ] on: July 05, 2019, 12:55:33 PM
Are the files to be encrypted? and where are stored after uploading?
Even if they are, why would anyone use this over something like selly.gg, or https://shoppy.gg which already has a reputation and does the EXACT same thing?

What makes this site unique from them? As far as i can see it's definitely not the amount of features, nor the design. I don't see how you can compete.
620  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ANN Thread Bumper/Spammers: Vitor Services on: July 05, 2019, 11:19:57 AM
Doesn't the site itself also list the projects (or rather, logo's of said projects) that have bought some sort of bumping service from them?

I think these are all the images of projects that are listed on their site. https://imgur.com/a/QTNJPjR

How much actually engaged in fraudulent behaviour though, who knows...
