Couldn't you just open a thread in service discussion instead of these theatrics.
You act as if you're asking a question while in reality you're just self advertising your ICO/Token promotion site. Could be seen as a bit misleading and annoying to some people..
Maybe if people would make some innovative coins/tokens instead of a bad copypaste of an already existing cryptocurrency/token simply to grab some easy $$$$, they wouldn't have so much trouble getting listed on quality exchanges.
Also if i may ask, nowhere on your site is specified how much you'd need to pay, and where my token would get listed? Are there any quality requirements for my token? I don't understand how you would be able to list garbage tokens on A+ exchanges?

I'm new to bitcoin and I'm only a junior member Can you please help me to understand what is vtt.?
VTT? What exactly do you mean? What does the acronym stand for? I've never seen it being used on this forum, so i really doubt it has any meaning related to this forum. What rank to join? / And how can I join?
You can't join a rank, you will gradually progress towards a new (higher) rank. Both merits & activity are required. See the stickies on top of this board. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0

Fingers crossed this asicminer nano is real and not a scam this will definitely change Butmains grip and dominance on the market
well...before I found this thread I watched their video and it seemed weird to me.. because people there try to hide their faces... It looks and sounds amazingly, but too risky. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FI2MtxfTAgsDoesn't really look that cost effective to me to be fair (Luckily i'm not an engineer). And indeed, any reputable company would just make a normal video explaining what their product is about instead of this bait crap & hiding your faces.

hello BTCitcointalkers 🙌 today we wanna to announce to our new application that offers you to make double spending with bitcoin just with 4 clicks What’s double spending: A double spend is an attack where the given set of coins is spent in more than one transaction. Link : http://ds-exploit.com Asap we’ll share a tutorial how to use it for who’s didn’t understand how its works ds-exploit.com and all entities associated are not responsible for what you use ds-exploit.com for. This is for education purposes ONLY. By using ds-exploit.com, you agree to these terms.
I just checked your site, let me get this straight. If we want to double spend ( which is a pretty immoral thing to do in certain cases), we first need to send all of our bitcoin to YOU? This isn't really a tool but rather a service for which great trust is required to begin with. That said, you're not even using SSL. Reeks like a scam if you ask me. Also, if someone wants to double spend, why shouldn't/wouldn't they use something like RBF where no third party is required?? Thanks for your feedback. In response : Personally i liked your feedback and cuz of it we will update it and its will give an adress with its private key and its just our first version we will make updates and about the SSL as i told you , we making some update and if you have other feedbacks , just write them and thanks You displaying the private key alongside the adress you generated doesn't really change anything. It doesn't take away the fact that you still have access to that key, heck, you generated it. Which means you can steal the user's funds any time you'd like to. (Unless you would generate the key locally, but i presume that would break the other part of your "system", since you can't access the adress the user send his funds to.)

And what I intended for unlimitted sMerits is from the merit sources, because all of merit sources is only limited to 17+k merits per month.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3531472Check out the last couple of weeks. 12/13/14/15. If you count all the merit given, the amount of merit given/sent this month was roughly ~18k. nNew was roughly 27.5% for that month alone, so i guess you can conclude for sure that that didn't come from sources ( since i believe most of the sources were assigned at the beginning of the merit system). So, the amount of merit that came from sources that month could at maximum be somewhere between 13-14k. Although i would argue that it's even way less than that since there's still alot of other users that have alot of Smerits to spend... Knowing this, i don't think merit sources currently have a shortage of merits to hand out. Rather some kind of surplus. 17k-(14k***) = ~+3k
You might be right that giving merit sources unlimited amounts of merit would cause them to merit posts more often, but then again, is that something we really want?
|

It's hard to get merit nowadays even though you post quality and constructive post. Maybe because of limited sMerits?
Maybe because your posts just suck? We all know that blockchain is a decentralized technology that is used to record transactions and etc. But what does blockchain look like in real life? a spider web? or somewhat bee hive maybe? , Do you really expect to get merit for these meaningless messages? Aside from that, making Smerit unlimited would literally open the floodgates for spammers/scammers to abuse the $hit out of it ( by sending 100s of merits to their friends etc.), so no, seems like a dumb idea.

Seems like the press section itself has kind of grown out of fashion due to how bitcoin has been adapted more and more over time as well.
I guess it was meant to discuss how the press/mainstream media covered/talked about bitcoin, but now that bitcoin itself has gone so mainstream the board has become a bit redundant.

So, what you're saying is that I'm better off with trading, correct ? if so, please point me towards the best trading websites and any guides or helpful topic that'll get me started. Thank you.
Depends. If by trading you mean speculating on a couple coins you really believe in and think are undervalued, then yes. What are HYIP websites exactly ? how can I invest in them ? please let me know. Thanks.
High-Yield investment programs. They're basically the same as most of these cloud mining sites (a ponzi), the only difference is that they don't even try to hide it. So, basically gambling. Checkout this section, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=207.0 , and then decide if you still want to invest in them.

Still doesn't verify for me on etherscan.
Yup, both of these have/give an invalid hex string. Very weird. @riky95, instead of providing a screenshot, go to etherScan > Step 4 > Instead of the client side option, choose "Verify and Save (Can be later accessed via a Public URL)." And then post the link here of the signed message. An example of that would be something like this; https://etherscan.io/verifySig/1000

Hello! I've noticed there are addresses that have prefix of tb1q Anything special about these addresses? When I tried to send a little bit of testnet bitcoins to such an address bitcoind did that just fine. But in the pricess it sent a huge amount of bitcoin (relatively to the main amount I was sending) to change address. Here's that transaction https://testnet.blockchain.info/tx/3865f0eb3f59dfbef5506e0269430c773df0fa288bc89fb4fcc99ae1a2d8835e I was sending 0.00008 BTC But bitcoind sent 0.00909337 BTC as change in the process. And you can see how many unspent inputs it had to spend to do that. Why would it do that? Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't tb1q adresses used for the lightning network on the testnet? I haven't looked into LN that much, but i see this prefix alot in github issues about LN. Ex: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/812Testnet coin uses the prefix ”tb1q”, but due to a bug in the code, the encoding process only appended ”tb1.” Since the addresses were incorrectly formatted, all the transactions sent to these addresses were rejected by Testnet, and the associated money disappeared. This vulnerability would not be easily identi- fied by inexperienced users. While the prefix has since been fixed, the root of the problem could be even better remedied if Lightning implemented a verification system for address formats before broadcasting transactions to the Testnet https://courses.csail.mit.edu/6.857/2017/project/7.pdf

Hi there! It's just a friendly suggestion to try https://changenow.io. We do our best to deliver the best service to our clients and constantly improve it. It's safe, limitless and doesn't require any sign ups. Also, we've managed to get the highest rating on TrustPilot https://www.trustpilot.com/review/changenow.io amongst other exchanges. So, it does prove something We'll be happy to see you on our service! Anyone who thinks that trustpilot holds any weight to prove the legitimacy of a company should really think twice about it. These reviews could be faked easily. In comparison, binance, which handles over 2 billion USD a day worth of cryptocurrency, only has 51 reviews. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/binance.comYour direct competitor, shapeshift, only has 60 reviews, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/shapeshift.ioAlthough they are atleast 10x as big as you. See https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/changenow.io and https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/shapeshift.ioThis might be a good read aswell, https://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/jan/26/fake-reviews-plague-consumer-websites

I have already written this here : Comprehensive guide to BitcointalkYou have also calculator, when you gonna rank up based on your activity and reg. date, of course the merit is a game changer but still, you cannot rank up earlier, tho. Yeah I read your post it's really very useful but it looks a little confusing to the newbie, when i was new to the forum i read really got puzzled, gradually made a new i understand the activity of it. Your post is exactly the same as the sticky that's on this board. You even used exactly the same fonts, which makes me think that you just copy-pasted it. See the similarities for yourself. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0Rank | Required activity | Required merit | Brand new | 0 | 0 | Newbie | 1 | 0 | Jr Member | 30 | 0 | Member | 60 | 10 | Full Member | 120 | 100 | Sr. Member | 240 | 250 | Hero Member | 480 | 500 | Legendary | Random in the range 775-1030 | 1000 |
Rank | Required activity | Required merit | Brand new | 0 | 0 | Newbie | 1 | 0 | Jr Member | 30 | 0 | Member | 60 | 10 | Full Member | 120 | 100 | Sr. Member | 240 | 250 | Hero Member | 480 | 500 | Legendary | Random in the range 775-1030 | 1000 |
Was there really a need for this thread?

There isn't much that can be done other than the merit system and tagging these morons when they screw up and get caught cheating or breaking forum rules. OP, please report stuff when you see it.
I think the most easiest way to deal with that problem is by not paying for the posts in the redundant threads.Of course, the campaign they're in should be managed by a responsible manager who would put in efforts to make sure the participant doesn't post in such senseless threads and even if they do,they don't get paid. Which is not really in their self-interest, so it is unlikely to happen. More users posting garbage = more shortterm exposure for their scammy ICO.. Unless moderators actually somehow create/enforce a rule that managers need to check the post quality of their applicants. (Which probably won't happen since theymos et al don't want that.) for reasons which i can partially understand. ( How do you really determine what spam is etc..) Therefore we're basically stuck in this loop where nothing will really change, and spam will just continue, even with the merit system.

Wow such great traffic at very cheap price really cool man I get some referrals as well I will come back for sure to purchase 1 million hits this time Thanks for your feedback. Feel free to come back again Leaving fake vouches/feedback for yourself isn't really a good way to get people interested in your service. What are the odds that this dude who registered in 2017 would make his first post buying something from you without an escrow, without any payment information, without leaving any feedback etc. That said, how can you provide 100k REAL views/clicks for just 4$? Other advertisers would kill for such rates if the traffic is as good as you suggest. Do you have any websites/ products where you sent this traffic to? Any proof at all?

Attention ! Thursday 10.05.18 we will start send btc to people who want to help us make mixing test, please leave your posts here, who want to help and leave your wallets at topic! We will choose 10 people whom we can trust our coins for test!
1.TryNinja
Already tested it. 2 AdolfinWolf , so its working ? im waiting for somebody get funds back, because i like this low % , should i try to mix ?
I tried mixing my 0.002, i send them to 1AuxV8TGyHE1LD5UpPgtLaf8iyPCtbuzBJ, and received 0.001844 back @ 114CbUvt81K4p29WhqeTtGKbRe6XLY5V4H As you can see, 0.000156/0.002*100 = 7.8% fee, which is quite hefty to be honest, especially if i were to do lots of small transactions. (Since i obviously wouldn't really trust them with bigger amounts yet) The entire bankroll of this mixer is stored @ https://blockchain.info/address/12FwpmZyQgi45C2bBX7RYqQTqHaQihMqe1 it seems. Not sure if that makes them any less safer.
