621  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: July 26, 2021, 09:09:51 PM
They have no more questions on the list under Tokyo Olympics? What is happening futuur? I placed a bet on 1 question under this Olympics - about the number of gold medals that Biles will rake on this event. But now, they totally removed it. Hope they are planning something during this Tokyo Olympics, they need to take advantage of this event before it finishes.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How should we retail investors respond to hacker attacks? on: July 26, 2021, 12:01:25 PM
I also would like to add that we shouldn't store our coins in exchanges as these exchanges are prone to attacks that you don't have any way of getting back at. Remember the phrase, "Not your keys, not your coins" they are going to help you a lot. Also, buy yourself some hardware wallets so you can be extra safe.

But still a lot of people are storing their funds in exchanges. If you want to at least make sure you can still have your funds despite of the attack, better store it in binance as they have SAFU over there. But much better if you will store it in your own wallet, where you have the full control of your funds. Even top exchanges are vulnerable to attacks because softwares are getting sophisticated and hackers will try and try to penetrate their security system.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you like or hate Royal symbols on bitcoin slots? on: July 25, 2021, 11:54:22 PM
I don't really care much about those symbols as long as I am having fun gambling.
It is the game that makes me have fun the designs are just bonus but most of the time when I see those royal symbols it quickly reminds me of gambling.
I would lie if I say that design doesn't matter because it does and sometimes it is also the reason why people play on a gambling site because it isn't plain and boring.

Same here. And besides, they've been in existence for so long already. So a lot of us are already used to it. I don't think there's something wrong using those symbols. And also, a lot of players are after on the results not on the symbols. This is why sometimes, it doesn't matter to most. And everyone can easily recognize those symbols as compared to customized ones.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 25, 2021, 10:39:12 PM

He cancelled the fight with Casimero because of the personal attacks on him and his family.

But he has option B - the Inoue fight, which is more exciting to see against a all Filipino war.

No one is underestimating Donaire, it's that he is facing the Monster who beat him in the first fight although somewhat he won because he as able to break Inoue's orbital bone.
and a considered as Rematch , We know how close their last fight was and I believe that if there is a chance to make it best again then this is the right time.

This will turn out as decision making for Donaire that if he lose on this one then he might really consider Retiring as We also believe that he is in the right age of leaving the boxing arena and become at least a Trainor or a manager depend on what next step he is planning for.

But i will still go for Donaire in this one no matter how advantageous Inoue is.

But no talks yet from both camps. It seems they are waiting for Casimero-Rigo results. We don't know if they are already discussing this potential fight. But if they will see high demand from boxing fans, they may schedule it very soon. However, no indication yet that they are into this re-match.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] World Mobile - Connect billions of people in Africa and beyond on: July 25, 2021, 09:55:10 PM
Why is this project not attracting interest from here? Been more than couple of weeks that you started your sale, do you think you can raise your financial targets here? What will happen if you don't, do you have your own funds to push thru this project?
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 24, 2021, 11:50:24 PM
Is there any progress now about this supposed fight?

Since the fight between Donaire and Casimero has been permanently cancelled, never heard of Donaire or Inoue anymore talking about the possibility of the fight. Or there will be a respective match first before they will bout again.

Like, the boxing council is waiting for the winner of Casimero vs Rigo first.

Both camps are still silent. So we have no idea if this Inoue-Donaire II will materialize soon. In case, Casimero wins over Rigo, I believe Inoue-Casimero will happen much early. Maybe they are still weighing their options here. Let us see once the bout of Casimero-Rigo is finished.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 24, 2021, 11:39:27 PM
It's a bit strange to see that USA have 0 medals after first day.But if you will look at events, where medals were given on the first day, most sports is where USA usually don't have outstanding results - shooting, archery, fencing, judo, taekwondo and etc.
Things will change in next days. On Sunday there will be some swimming finals - it's most interesting thing for me tomorrow.

It is just the first day, USA usually earns a lot of gold medals. Maybe give it another day and we will see them rake some gold medals. At least people are active following this online. Because the actual scenario in their games may be quite boring as there are no spectators allowed. Let's be grateful that this event pushed thru despite of so many troubles owed to pandemic.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: July 24, 2021, 10:01:46 PM
Have these companies taken any steps to minimize the harm related to online gambling?  Is their CSR functional? Not all bet sites encourage responsible gambling because they rely on revenue from the losses of  gambling addicts. My question is, should online gambling companies be responsible for the harm related to their activities because of their current failures in the implementation and control of CSR policies?
I am replying to this thread late. I have some experience about addiction as I was a gambling addict before. I have used my country's gambling site before, foreign one and crypto gambling sites too. My country's gambling sites do not have any protection for addicts, I remember I can send high amount of money daily to the gambling sites and nothing will happen if I lost it. I later used foreign gambling site, they have some protections which is not even helping, like selecting certain amount to be spending monthly which can not be changed often but you will have to wait for like a day before you will be able to increase it, but it can be increased to $5000, this still makes it not protective. I lost thousands into the gambling site. Crypto gambling sites are not also different. It is good for people to know that the responsibility rest on them not to be an addict because no betting company cares.

Glad that you share your own personal experience and it only shows that the action should really come from the gambler himself and not from the casino or government. They can't control your gambling activities and they can only warn about the potential consequences of gambling addiction but that's it. They won't do anything to really prevent it. Inside the casino, whether offline or online, what they want is spend as much money as you can to their games. They won't stop you from playing. That's the truth. So if you do care of yourself, you need to start thinking of how to limit your gambling activities.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 23, 2021, 11:59:14 PM
My friends and I are already using it to gamble,
We bet some small money and fight with each other,
Sometimes my wife and I also use it to bet on who would do the chores around the house if I lose on arena it would be on me and if I win she would do the chores.
So I guess it is possible it would only depend if you are going to use it on gambling.
This is pretty normal on every game if you are placing some bet with your friends locally but the question here is about the update on E-sports with Axie.

I think there's a higher chance for betting since this is e-sports where players will fight the other players and this would be useless if you'll gain nothing so betting could be one of the option, maybe you'll place your bet in terms of SLP.

Betting would be likely a part of this platform and it may grow from that point. This pandemic brought a lot of gamblers online so I won't be surprised if Axie will develop some sort of betting on their site itself. And this can easily expand to other classic casino games.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: July 23, 2021, 11:18:28 PM
How gambling companies should be responsible for addiction? Paying them? Or Make special services for addicts?  Huh
No, it is not the responsibility of gambling companies to handle addiction. It is an individual matter. Although the companies have warned you to prevent addiction, not all people can understand it and know how to control their selves well. The companies are impossible to monitor the habits of all gamblers every time, it is not their business. The gamblers must be responsible themselves to avoid addiction. Only the gamblers know how to deal with addiction because it is about their own habits.

This is very true. No casino can track all their players and know their mental conditions towards gambling. What they can do is publish contacts of offices that can help gambling addiction aside from their usual warning about gambling addiction. I have never heard of a situation that someone sue a casino because he became addicted to their platform.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: July 23, 2021, 09:12:54 PM
The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler?

Do houses always win? No! Homes almost never lose.
We've had countless cases of lucky players who have won big prizes and them withdraw money from the house to their wallet (if not a scam).
The fact is that when you win a good prize, most of the times peoples continue to bet, giving the house the chance to recover from the loss it had.

The solution is simple, plan with a limit on spending and maximum bets, the house will continue to win, but at least you won't leave grumbling.

That's right, so even if you win big but you don't know when to stop, the money will end up again to the casino. That's why casinos always win because even if they pay those gamblers with their winning prizes, the tendency of most gamblers is to play again. So the money paid will go back again to their site.
In short, what the OP laid out is that in life, all of us are like gamblers, whatever we choose, there's some part that we are gambling in this life.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: July 22, 2021, 11:25:41 PM
Due to the corona pandemic situations , my family income already deduced so I can't buy food properly hence I spend my days with very miserable conditions. I think coronavirus and would be stable and food price never be stopped.
The price won't be stopped to increase because of several reasons but the coronavirus pandemic, it will be stopped very soon. It may not be wholly stopped.
But the cases will drop very soon once there's now immunity within the community that has been vaccinated worldwide.

We really need to be smart these days on how to survive these challenging times. If you can't buy food because of limited amount of budget, look for ways on how to earn additional income or how to save money. Even with small space, you can plant some vegetables that you can use for food. You don't need to buy anymore those vegies. Also, you can sell some of your items which are not really important and just cluttering your storage space. Don't lose hope in this situation, should be a challenge for you to get out from this pandemic as a stronger individual.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has fallen below 30,000. Is there still room for appreciation in the future on: July 22, 2021, 09:58:05 PM
It has recovered and even reached a level above $32k. But I don't know the reason. Maybe it's just related to the volatility. Anyway, I hope that we could see a good rally and the price reaches $40k. It'd be great for Bitcoin to gather itself up.

The sentiments are saying about the positive impact of the recently held B Word Conference. Even ether enjoyed a lil bit on this as he mentioned, he also owned ether aside from bitcoin and doge coin.

https://www.coindesk.com/elon-musk-says-spacex-holds-bitcoin-at-b-word-conference

Though only small jump but let's be grateful that we are seeing green again and we are more than 30k. Hoping to see more positive news in the coming days.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: July 21, 2021, 11:57:07 PM
I have noticed that sometimes when I gamble, I used to win unexpectedly even when I never intended to bet. The most shocking thing is that I usually win when my mind is not that prepared to gamble probably jokingly. Anything I'm focused and well prepared I usually lose. I don't know if this is affiliated to luck or just emotions. Does this happens to others?

I've also had many similar situations.
I think it depends on the person and how he deals with nerves and emotions in general.
In order to avoid getting nervous during the game, I always set the limit I can lose in advance. Also, I try to think that I'm not playing to win, just for the fun of it. Thanks to this, it is easier for me to accept the loss and I am more happy with the win. But the most important thing is that it allows me to control my emotions much better.

This is very true, if the money you used to place bet is yours and only extra funds, you won't have the pressure as compared to borrowed money. Because if it is a loaned one, the tendency is you really get nervous about the results as you want to win. You will end up not enjoying the game in this case.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 21, 2021, 11:31:37 PM
Is there an odds already for this match? I was just wondering which has the higher odds. I think I will go on pacquiao to match even though there is an age difference pacquiao has an advantage in terms of experience from the previous match of pacquiao i see that he still have the agility and reflexes, one thing is for sure... this is gonna be a great match.

If you go back a few pages, boxing fans know that Pacquiao will be the clear underdog here because he is facing one of the best welterweights right now. So don't be surprised if the line open as Pacquiao as the underdog.

Of course Pacquiao still has it, that's why he wanted to face Spence and prove that again. He might be old but he can still go with the best of them. If you are a crypto bettor, better wait for the lines as it could be a good win for us if we bet early.

It is already available in sportsbet, fortunejack, betfury and betja. The odds are in favor of Spence but if you are a Pacquiao fan, it is good to bet right now as the odds are at 2.65-3.0. We don't know if it will go down once the fight is about to happen. Indeed! This is for me worth watching as who knows, this may be the last fight of the boxing legend Pacquiao? We always want to see a toe-to-toe fight, not a boring one.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 21, 2021, 10:38:31 PM
Gamblers don't realize they are addicted to gambling until it's worse which they've done unthinkable already like breaking the piggybank of his kid just so he could gamble again. But you as a gambler can also notice it to yourself before you get to the worse situation like selling valuables like jewelry so you could play again.

Is seeking a new strategy or thinking of betting while you are sleeping signs of addiction? If not, what are little signs that unfold you are becoming a gambling addict?
There isn't any single sign or criteria but usually, person is addicted if he/she:
1. Spends more money in gambling than he can afford to.
2. Can't get fun from gambling, instead, he/she is getting nervous/anxious and agitated.
3. Person talks about gambling very often (It doesn't directly mean that he/she is addicted but usually, people talk about things that they are interested in and are captivated)
4. He/She prioritizes gambling more than necessary.
5. He gambles and his quality of life is declining.

Those are the main signs to my mind. If a person thinks about betting when there is a time of sleep, then sure he has very deep problems and it's not a typical addiction.

And when that happens, I believe he already needs professional help. Unless, he will admit it to himself and ask from his family how to address his gambling issues. But most of the time, they don't want their family to interfere their business. It is hard to get out if you are already deep in this gambling habit. You need something to motivate you to change your lifestyle. But up until then, your life may really get worse if not addressed early.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 21, 2021, 09:24:37 PM
Crypto lottery yup tried it but not on exchange and I never won any amount from lottery.
I only had experience of crypto lottery because of Freebitco.in I tried buying all of my earning from their faucet a ticket on their lottery but I never won anything also tried buying with my own money.
I guess I get some free tickets from freebicoin every now and then and I miss claiming them or I am unlucky enough to not win any of them so far.

I haven't played the lottery at exchanges either but I have been lucky enough to win some small ones here locally maybe because they don't have too many participants hence I have a more realistic chance of winning a lottery locally than online.

A lot of exchanges/websites might be even showing fake winners because there is just no way to verify the winners and names are random and they might be their own employees.

I have the same experience, only in freebitco that I am playing this lottery game. But not in pancake or any other exchange. I guess, a lot of gamblers here are joining the freebitco lottery because aside from their free lottery tickets from the faucet, you can buy the ticket at 1 sat/ticket. So that's very cheap actually. But sadly, never won on this lottery thing yet.
638  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BETFURY OLYMPIC GAMES for $150 000🔥 NFT Battles |⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 21, 2021, 08:42:22 PM

This is a great promotion and a very good strategy, at least for me the Olympic games are too important and I don't care about the schedules, I always see them, this time many bettors will undoubtedly play. I have not been able to be in the battles of betfury because I have had many electrical power failures, I hope that now when these games come I can enjoy this promotion, many casinos are launching their promotions and they are really striking, I think the competition to attract more players to the platforms are somewhat exceptional, worthy of this high-end casinos.

If the olympics right now has no actual spectators, this kind of promotion during this olympic period will at least gain online gamblers. It is good that betfury is looking for ways how to stir the interest from its players. Now, for those who are saying that betfury is focusing into farming or staking, I believe otherwise. They keep on surprising us about their offerings here. Just my opinion though.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: July 21, 2021, 08:42:09 AM

i just watched the whole fight. lol certainly this nate doesn't have a boxings skills.

Sure Nate Robinson doesnt have boxing skills, because he is a basketball player and that was his first ever boxing fight Cheesy Btw that was Jakes third fight. While Jake has been doing boxing since 2018 (counting from his first fight), Nate agreed for this fight just to earn.

Just for the sake of money that they can get from this exhibition fight. And now, this upcoming PAul-Woodley exhibition fight. And obviously, bookies are in favor of Jake Paul to win here. Though the gap of odds is slim this time. Maybe after this exhibition fight, Jake Paul should aim for professional belt already. Too much of these exhibition fights.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: July 20, 2021, 11:58:46 PM
I don't think there is a contest about any price. I think the price predictions are made by professional traders themselves and it may not be accurate. so the price prediction contest is very irrelevant in my opinion

Maybe he is looking for some type of betting exchange like betller.io - https://betller.io/, it is a pvp betting site for bitcoin's price. So if he is good in predicting prices as he was claiming, this will be a good way for him to earn money.
