Mbappe didn't play in this game even for a minute but it was still no problem for PSG. They beat Lille by 3-1 anyway. There is such a great chemistry between Vinicius Junior and Bellingham this season. The Girona game must be one of the best examples for that. I can't even imagine what would happen if Real Madrid bring Mbappe to the team as well this summer. There would be a very deadly trio in the attacking line.  However we don't know yet whether they are serious about the Mbappe transfer for now. Even Mbappe hasn't made up his mind yet. But I hope he would end up with Real Madrid instead of extending with PSG for no reason considering his career in the long run. |

I'm very contented with what I saw in the Leverkusen - Bayern Munich game. Leverkusen showed such a strong character in the game and completely deserved this 3-0 win. I wasn't expecting Bayern Munich to be this ineffective though. It was like nearly everyone played horrible. I saw Boey in the starting eleven in his second game already but he also couldn't show a good performance just like the others. Now the point gap between these two teams has become five. While we are slowly getting near the end of the season Leverkusen have a huge advantage to go for the league title and finally break Bayern Munich's streak. |

I must admit that for once I thought Roma were going to surprise me. But it was until the end of the first half unfortunately. They surrendered to Inter very quickly in the second half by conceding 3 goals without answering those goals. The defensive problems are huge for Roma and we can see them having big issues in this kind of games. De Rossi has a lot of work to do. He is even a temporary manager of course but it is in his hands to stay here longer. He will need to improve Roma's current position to earn a new contract. This could be done in the Serie A or Europa League. |

Real Madrid crushed Girona by the way. After their previous head-to-head I was curious about what Girona would be able to do this time. But not much thing changed since then. Not too bad to be at the position I'm currently seeing em, though I know they have to work together and hard to earn the spot we all think they should be. Despite talks of it being the farmers league, these lads are having a Competitive season.
They should be against Nice if I'm correct, and Nice at home is one tough nut to crack. Hard one to predict to avoid defeat then they must try to get a point because I'm sure they'll not be able to win this game.
For Brest, Ti's off course a good chance to see them level up with them current points, they should off course beat Clemfort who's had less wins against Brest.
I don't know, I think they should be able to get better than Brest at least for example. We should be seeing a team like Monaco at the third position at worst in this season. The points are still very close to each other so they can still get there depending on keeping a decent form. We are still in the middle of the season in the end. Chelsea must be really surprised with Enzo Fernandez's wanting to leave these days. Because I assume he is one of the rare players with a this long contract. After seeing this kind of a contract I thought he was planning to wait patiently and fight for Chelsea to get better in time. But being this horrible for two seasons must have caused him to run out of patience. I think he is a great player with big potential. But he would cost quite high numbers for interested teams. Chelsea paid 120 million euros for him. I don't feel like they would be able to make profit in his sale. A rich team might want to take advantage of Chelsea's condition and try to sign him for a much lower price. |

Another easy game ahead for Barcelona... I assume they would manage to get a decent win against Granada home as well. But they are still hopeless when it comes to the title competition in my opinion.
I mean I know that the point gap with Real Madrid and Girona is less than 10 points. But when it comes to the way Barcelona play it isn't just convincing you know. Their defending is terrible and they are desperate against teams which are playing a strong attacking game. I think the best position Barcelona can finish the season at is the second depending on Girona's consistency.

Al-Ittihad are expected to make another move for Mohamed Salah this summer. As you might remember they made an offer after the end of the previous summer transfer window. But their offer was turned down by Liverpool because of being out of a transfer window. But this summer they will have a chance to find a replacement for him if they let him go. Klopp must be hoping to see him staying despite Klopp himself being about to leave by the end of the season. I wonder what Salah is thinking about his future.  His contract still lasts until 2025. I think they should keep Salah until the end of his contract even if he doesn't extend more. |

Monaco are just really bad this season. Not only in the cup I mean but also the Ligue 1. They have lost a lot of points in the league so far and they are out of the Champions League spots at the moment. They are still not far away from those spots by points of course. But this performance needs to be improved more if they want to make it. The Ligue 1 has a quota of three teams to join the Champions League groups directly this season. Even the fourth finishing team have a chance through qualification phase. Monaco shouldn't miss this chance by maintaining a poor performance. |

Exactly. I would also put Stuttgart in front of Dortmund when it comes to performance in general of the season. I must admit something here though that Stuttgart are this powerful thanks to Guirassy's great individual performance. He has been a goal machine for them so far and this helped carrying the team to the third position as well. If Stuttgart didn't have Guirassy then I wouldn't have expected much from them to achieve. Real Madrid seem like they want to make the squad younger by signing quite talented players these days. However they are still caring about keeping useful experienced players in the squad as well. Otherwise Modric would have already been sent from the team. Therefore I think Kroos could still be offered a contract extension and I assume he would accept it. But let's see if they will prove me wrong about Kroos. In case Kroos leaves at the end of the season maybe we could see him going to Saudi Arabia. I assume there would be an offer by a team there as well in the summer. |

I must admit that I was impressed by Athletic Bilbao's win over Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey. They really captured a significant advantage before the rematch home. This season in general is going on just great for Athletic Bilbao actually. Because they must be playing even over the expectation level in the league as well. They are competing for top four technically even though their job isn't easy at all. It would really be an extra work if they make it to the Champions League. They are already deserving the fifth position completely considering the performance of their nearest opponents. |
