Now if Kamaru Usman can not have a rematch against Leon Edwards I think Khamzat Chimaev is ready to fight Edwards, as they have an unsettled fight because, on January 20, 2021, they have a canceled fight so surely this fight needs to happen, and if this fight could materialize I will surely root for Khamzat Chimaev winning it,
Khamzat Chimaev missed weight when he fought at 170 pounds and he should fight one more time in the division and prove that he can make championship weight limit and if Kamaru Usman is not healthy for the London card then i think Belal Muhammad deserves the title bout as they have some unfinished business and Belal is on a 8 fight winning streak and the last Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad fought it ended in an accidental eye poke and hence called off the fight and i want to see that rematch Wink.

He's having a lot of trouble with Twitter and his business, and he's selling stocks to deal with his financial crisis rather than turning to other investments. Elon has a lot of work to do and other investment opportunities, I don't think he will focus too much on bitcoin, which he can't manipulate.
Elon has manipulated the cryptocurrency market when the market was rising and made a fortune but the current sell off in Tesla is to compensate the loans he took when he was purchasing Twitter. He is the worlds richest person but he was not having liquidity when he was planning to purchase Twitter and many chipped in during that takeover and may be he is settling those loans.

Just 2 more sessions left on this test match, don't you feel that Pakistan can easily take it into draw in their home conditions? Right now, Pakistan is trailing by below 30 runs and possibly 4 players can bat which means they can manage for more than 1 session for sure and in another half session, I cannot imagine that New Zealand can score rapidly to defeat Pakistan.
On papers it is an easy draw when the morning session started, but the pitch has worn off badly and the ball is spinning a lot and they lost 5 wickets and if not for the innings from Imam-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz Ahmed they would still be trailing and the New Zealand spinners are bowling well outside the leg stump expecting it to hit a crack and turn sharply and with 55 overs left in the day anything is possible.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's performances have not been up to expectations in recent times. I doubt if anyone else in the history of Indian cricket has been given the amount of opportunities especially given to Virat Kohli. The Indian Cricket Board has a lot of good cricketers who have a lot of potential. On the other hand, these two cricketers are quite senior. Virat Kohli's age is now 34 years while Rohit Sharma is 35. Naturally, they now have to give up the place to newcomers. I think the Indian Cricket Board has taken an appropriate decision and that will be effective for the newcomers.
Virat Kohli performed in the recent tournaments and age is catching up with them and they need to allow youngsters to play in the T20 format and the older players should focus on the longer format. The problem with Rohit Sharma is the fitness as he is having one or the other injury every series he plays, players who are in the bench every series should get opportunities rather than warming the benches and not picked for the next series even without getting a chance to play.

Just another foreign policy failure for the current Indian regime, which is trying hard to appease countries such as Afghanistan and Bangladesh on one hand, and antagonize Nepal and Sri Lanka with the other. BCCI being a proxy of the Indian government just carries out whatever orders that comes from the top.
Who would have thought that US will be ruling by a dumb president and he would make a move that would remove the US army so that the Taliban would get their control back, so you cannot call it as a foreign policy blunder as no one expected this move as they fought around 20 years to remove the extremist government from ruling the country.

~
And this is a big blow to the BCCI, who invested heavily on Afghanistan while ignoring other neighboring nations such as Nepal and Bhutan.
It is not a blow to the BCCI, they are not generating huge revenue for the BCCI by hosting the Afghanistan matches and the stadiums are not packed unless they are playing India and Afghanistan used other venue as their home ground because of security reason.

I wouldn't expect much from Strasbourg to surprise this game. Paris Saint Germain would absolutely pull off a comfortable victory at the end of the game.
I was also not expecting any surprised from Strasbourg but Paris Saint Germain had some surprise in stores with their own goal which equalized the match and then Neymar got his second yellow card and was sent out and for the past 25 minutes i am struggling to make a decision on what will happen again during the final minutes and i wanted to see PSG scoring another goal and seal the deal.

Parlay is very much as we all know that anything can happen in a bad day. I have lost a parlay because of losing one single match which had an odd of 1.4 I guess. Well, the maximum odd I won from Parlay was around 7 including 4 soccer matches.
What's your maximum parlay win (don't share the amount). Share only the odds you got and total matches you have included in your bet.
The most recent high odds win were 39x this year when i placed bets on 3 events taking the heavy underdog in table tennis. I have a live 10.42 odds bet right now and with three event more to complete which is the Australia South Africa Cricket match and Manchester City Leeds and PSG Strasbourg and i placed a bet on 12 events which includes, Basketball, Darts, Tennis, Cricket and Football and wanted to play it safe  Cheesy.

When Pakistan lost 4 quick wickets in first session of Day 1, I had the feeling that this pitch is good for bowling. As the game progressed, it turn out that its another road. Pakistan's record, even on such roads, is not too good as they have lost series recently to Aus and England. Also Multan test is also shifted to karachi because of foggy weather in Multan. So we will see 2 test on this pitch.
I wonder why Pakistan did not create pitches that would help the spinners and test the New Zealand batsman as they do not have quality spinners while Pakistan has some new talents and i was surprised to see that New Zealand got to a flying start without loosing any wickets and most probably this match will end up in a draw.

Australians are dominating south Africa in this 2nd test match of the series, at first warner score runs too slowly but after set on pitch he almost hit 16 boundaries as well 2 six and score a stunning double century what a gem player, but unfortunately when he jump during celebration of his double century he hit with ground and got injured, after injury he left the ground and replace with other batter.
Warner was struggling with his fitness even before reaching his double century as he was really exhausted and it was a really hot day and Green is also injured and retired, despite these Australia is in a great position and should win the match easily.

It is so weird to see fighters who has restarted UFC (I am talking about season first the ultimate fighter tv series) pass away. Few days ago Stephan Bonnar passed away. I remember that he and Forrest Griffin were the only two fighters from TUF, that got a contracts, despite one of them had lost. Another UFC fighter who has died relatively young…
The Ultimate fighter final between Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar is one of the greatest fights and that attracted more exposure and fans for the UFC when they were literally struggling to attract audience and so is the reason Stephan Bonnar got the contract even though he lost the fight and it was a really close fight and it is really sad that he is no more.

Absolutely true. And democracy is by the people, of the people, and for the people. But the people are retarded. So that is why democracy is not going to be the way how any country or organization can flourish. At least as long as the people are retarded. And that’s exactly what is happening in the subcontinent.
The politicians wants their voters to be divided and retarded, pseudo nationalism or in the name of religion is how you earn the vote by creating a villain out of nothing and it was successful in the past and sadly it is successful even now. In the case of Pakistan the military has a major control in politics and that is how the system works.

90% of the audience for the IPL are Indians. Nice work, achieving global audiences.

Why you think the advertisers are happy in shelling out millions for the IPL, they are reaching the targeted audience and as long as they are happy it does not matter 90% or 100% audience are Indians.

71 runs in an unbroken eighth-wicket partnership, India's highest partnership for that wicket against Bangladesh in any innings. Ashwin, who got life by 1 run, remained unbeaten on 42 runs, India won by 3 wickets. This is India's win against Bangladesh by the smallest margin batting in the fourth innings.
All the credits for the drama goes to the curator as the pitch started to wear out from the third day and the Bangladesh spinners were on top for majority of the match until Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer came to the crease. Ashwin was lucky enough to survive the pressure due to a sharp drop catch and then one flew through the slip fielders and then the momentum shifted.

How in the world did SBF decide that gambling was the best course of action for recovering the funds? It seems to me that he has terrible friends around him.  Have you ever thought of gambling as way to recover your funds and pay your debts? Does this look like a case of compulsive gambling?
I am not surprised he burned $100 million in online casino's, the millions he donated to political parties and hundred of millions he spend renaming stadiums and sponsoring sports teams. One of the dumbest person i have seen in this space including the entire team that includes his girl friend and Caroline Ellison who was the CEO of Alameda Research once claimed in an interview that she used to loose millions while trading and she uses rudimentary math skills while taking a position.

Every is taking a hit because of what had happen to FTX and to Terra Luna as it affected the market negatively. So for now, no one will know where we are heading, even ETH, the top altcoin is also down big this year.
The NFT hype is not there anymore, when it all started there was a huge hype and majority of the NFT were selling at exorbitant valuation and majority who purchased them thinking that they would fetch a higher valuation would be kicking themselves. One of the issues with Solana was the number of network outages they suffered in the past one year alone which is not promising for a project.

Start of the next day pitch will decide how things will be, either batsman can make runs or pitch suitable for ballers.
Till now Things are in favour of ballers but margin of runs is the main problem for Bangladesh.
The pitch is helping the spinners and Bangladesh does have a good attack and if the total were above 200 runs then i would certainly place a bet on Bangladesh to win the match. The right handed batsman were struggling and the Indian top order is gone, looks like the left handed batsman were able to overcome the angle of spin and they still have left handed batsman in Axar Patel who is still in the crease and Rishabh Pant who could take the team home without further damage.

So that is the main reason for this year, but we don't know if we have reach the bottom in this bear market because the decline will continue till next year.

Of course, we can still recover, but the best time for it is after the halving in 2024.
The main problem i see is that new investors that lost big due to major scams might not come back and even the FTX scam, which was seen as a major exchange in the space were funneling user funds and misusing the funds and then file for bankruptcy and the number of users that lost money due to that will be thinking twice to invest again and it might influence other potential investors as well and hence we might see a good recovery after the halving but i am expecting some changes in the way we used to see bull runs.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 23, 2022, 08:06:51 PM
Sadly, Rishabh Pant fails to score a well-deserved century today. It was Iyer's partisanship with him that saved India, even though he missed the century. A pathetic performance by Kohli, and Pujara contributed to India's failure to score big in their first innings in test matches. Actions are followed by equal and opposite reactions. It's the same strategy that Bangladesh batsmen will follow after surviving Indian batsmen. Let's wait and see how the ball turns out on the third day morning.
In the last match the first two days the pitch was spinning a lot and the final two days the batsman were able to score runs, so not sure how the pitch will behave in the final two days and it is a disappointing performance by India as well, thought they would score a huge lead but Bangladesh just trail by 80 runs and it all depends upon how Bangladesh would perform in the second innings and with plenty of time left in the match i would be surprised if we do not see a result.

Lanka Premier League ended today quietly atleast for me as i did not follow the series and it was mainly due to FIFA World Cup fever that i missed the entire series but watched the final 5 overs between Colombo Stars and Jaffna Kings and it was interesting as the match went to the last over and Colombo Starts was able to pick wickets at the right moments during the final overs but Jaffna Kings somehow crossed the line and won the tournament for the third time.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK on: December 23, 2022, 08:42:26 AM
^^ I would rather see this fight being made in England though, money wise it will be the best decision for Usyk as well. Of course, he wanted it to happen in his country, but there are going to be problems infrastructure wise that in doesn't make sense for promoters to push for it.
It is not just the infrastructure problem that is hindering the fight in Ukraine, the war is still ongoing and if Usyk says he wants the fight to take place in a war zone he is just out of his mind  Cheesy. Financial wise, GCC countries like Saudi and UAE is a good option as they are willing to spend huge amount for these fights to happen and then England is the best spot as this is the most anticipated fight in boxing and a money grab for everyone involved.

I thought it was a really bad move by the ICC. Reducing the fund for associate countries was absolutely the road to make. ICC absolutely did not understand that if new teams are not interested in cricket, the money that is going to be generated is eventually going to be reduced. 10–15 teams are only going to be able to generate so much revenue.
If ICC have unlimited funds they would be sending plenty of money to every country, it is business after all and they are providing a grand to develop the sport and consider them as bonus.

At least there should be 30 teams playing cricket regularly. And in the World Cup, we should also be able to see at least 25 to 30 teams competing against each other. But instead, we get a World Cup that is played by 15 teams maximum. And a few old teams are losing its way because of not having enough funds. Even though it does not feel like Cricket is dying right now, I can assure you that cricket will be dying very soon if this continues.
Hope you understand that increasing the number of teams alone will not bring in the revenue, you need people to watch the sport as well and if that was the case we would not be talking about revenues other countries are getting in the first place Grin.
