681  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Anyone bored and want to help me make onion domain and xampp wordpress site on: January 05, 2016, 04:44:18 PM
I need an onion domain with a simple website with site title, image, my texts and a bitcoin donate button that i can provide the code to.

Anyone bored and willing to help me for free or help my web designer who hasnt got a clue about tor hidden services?

Ummm ... no. Offer a reasonable compensation and I am sure someone will help. I can do this on fivver and at least make a few bucks.

It might be helpful to hire a web developer that understands tor/hidden services if that is your aim, or did you bargin-bin that too?

For security, your account has been locked. Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com
Which account specifically? The only times I've heard of accounts being locked manually is when a DT member or a highly valued account is suspected to be hacked.
Most likely its locked because you tired to use the security question feature(and got the answer correct)
but after sending a lot of messages to acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com
Not a good idea, would you like to be spammed by the same person? Drop a message each week(with a signed message from a staked address ofc) to theymos.
I have problem in signing the message but able to provide the private key of address associated with the account.
I think theymos is pretty busy in his work.

Providing the private key is decidedly insecure. For all we know Hitler could be signing the message then.

It isn't difficult to sign messages, especially if you use bitcoin core. For linux users I have a bash utility that even puts it in the correct format for you.
Can anyone tell me how i right the message(in which format) to theymos and how to sign a message using blockchain.info.

See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=180068.0

Format:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
<your message>
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNATURE-----
<message signature>
-----END BITCOIN SIGNATURE-----
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hopefully you had a Bitcoin address staked to your old account, you will need to sign a message from it to prove you are the owner.

This information may be useful to you as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

Were you trying to access your account over tor or another proxy? Little information here, perhaps you can PM theymos or another mod directly.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Why altcoin pump and dump? on: January 05, 2016, 03:13:11 PM
what is the reason of coin owner pump and dump he coin ?

You posted this in wrong section - try altcoin subforum.

But to answer your question simply - greed Sad

Pretty much this - greed. Shady coin developers know there are plenty of noobs that will gladly fork over their BTC hoping to profit in a limited window.

This is why in 2016 I am having very, very limited dealings with any altcoin community. So few have any real features or merit. Last year I investigated the UNO and HAM community (amongst others) and found them unstable. It is extremely unlikely that any new coin has any benefits to offer over established coins.

690  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Exploit to earn 3x your BTC on: January 05, 2016, 02:36:33 PM
OP has told me the site (but not the exploit) and said he'd tell them about the exploit to get rid of my negative trust. I've contacted them via Twitter asking them to contact OP.

@rudefud you've got really messed up principles and a clearly wrong definition of "corruption".

I agree and will watch this area. If OP continues to try and sell the exploit to outsiders and not notify the owners of the site I too will leave negative feedback.

As a side note, you responded to my thread on bitcoin sales. I see now I dodged a bullet in dealing with you.
691  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.008 BTC Loan Almost 50 % more on quick return :) on: January 05, 2016, 02:32:18 PM
If no one has funded this PM me, I will accept the account as collateral.
692  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin private method $1 to $30 Per day on: January 05, 2016, 02:18:38 PM
Its a private bitcoin earning method. You can earn $1 to $30 Per day.

How will it work?
You send me $25+ and I will return you with $28 to $35 in next 3 days.
Lucky users will get $40 in 3 days.
Are you contradicting yourself here ? (Check the bold letters).Shady way to ask money from others for gambling.Any proofs or detailed information you have about the method ?

Indeed, this sounds shady and OP's math doesn't add up (pun intended). Please be cautious about dealing with people who want you to send them Bitcoin and tell you "My method is private" or offer little to no information as to what they are doing.
693  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://cointelegraph.com/ is error ? on: January 05, 2016, 01:11:20 PM
Maybe the site finally imploded under the weight of all the shitty ads that litter the pages. I haven't visited that site in a regular browser in ages because it is so slow to load. I can curl articles or have a quick glance in w3m without having to be targeted by a million ads.
694  Other / Meta / Re: Any way to access security log without typing in link directly? on: January 05, 2016, 01:01:34 PM
Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a button you can click on the main page or somewhere to access the security log or do you have to type in the link manually?

Thanks

You do realize you answered your own question in the quote. Just click that link every time!  Cheesy

Failing that you could, as the others suggested, make a bookmark. If you happen to use linux I have a handy bash script that auto-updates it for you periodically I might be willing to share.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Prototanium otc Exchange on: January 05, 2016, 12:53:04 PM
proto is delisting at cryptopia, sad   Cry
lost money ,thanks

The whole prototanium thing was just a cash grab and a scam by the UNO developer. I'm sorry folks lost out but there were warnings from many not to try and monetize a testnet coin.

I am glad that in 2016 I have a bit more clarity on things. PRO and UNO are both shitcoins and likely scams.

697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lingham, Perklin, Pouliot named to Bitcoin Foundation Board / Mission Statement on: January 04, 2016, 10:27:20 PM
I don't remotely trust any type of self appointed Bitcoin Foundation. I think it stinks tbh & I'd rather place any trust I have in the miners & actual bitcoin community/users.

How long before this foundation start paying themselves obscene bonuses & acting like fiat banks.

Not for me sadly, I'm not interested in supporting them.

Looking at the (finally released) 2014 financial statements there are lots of funds that simply can't be accounted for properly. I agree that the community itself is the real "foundation". A six figure salary for a "Chief Scientist" that does little besides work on his own fork of Bitcoin is ridiculous.

I'm sure The Foundation can get Roger Verified though. He'll shill for anything.

...
I would donate/fund
...
something that helps Bitcoin...not the staff of a foundation.

100% agree

Just for reference the board and Executive Director are all volunteers,  the only paid staff are a part time bookeeper and a part time ops person

We know, you have repeated this like a drunk parrot about 1000 times in the past week. The mismanagement of funds ( including Gavin's salaray) is at issue here.
699  Economy / Services / Re: 100,000 satoshis per website review on: January 04, 2016, 09:10:19 PM
More PMs sent.

Some payments have been made already, please be patient if you're waiting for yours.

Welcome to the forums Gramas, glad to have you on board, especially for your first post Smiley. Lets see if we can sort you out with your first coins too! I remember that feeling of receiving my first bitcoins. What a life changing moment.

Just wanted to verify my deposit cleared without issue. Thanks again, I look forward to using this site and watching it grow!
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Noteable altcoins? on: January 04, 2016, 06:13:04 PM
LOL.  Ethereum and Dogecoindark shouldn't be in one sentence.  You just had to sneak Dogecoindark in there with Ethereum to make it look legit...  You just had to...

So what is not legit about DOGED?

I take it back.  It is totally legit.  Everyone please invest in dogecoindark.  You'll love it.

Is that like the difference between a runny shit and a solid shit? I figured dogecoindark was like dogecoin after taking some pepto and you get those dark green shits.
