681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT Trend Can Go For Long? on: June 05, 2021, 09:46:39 PM
Hope All Is Doing Well, As You all Know Binance, the world top best Cryptocurrency Exchange is going To Launch NFTs market place soon In Upcoming Weeks. So Whats Your Opinion that NFTs Can become trend and this trend can go for Long in 2021?
It is not a big surprise that Binance is launching their platform as they are copying anything new and wants to stay afloat in the market. The idea behind NFT is novel and there are many projects that are coming out and it is normal that we will have an influx of projects when there is a new trend and that is what we are seeing here as well. I am following a few projects as well and hopefully it will end up being successful and lets see how long this trend will last  Grin.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 04, 2021, 06:36:33 PM
I swear I’ll never watch another Floyd Mayweather fight every time because of his style of running. I always hope this time will be different and he’ll go for the KO. We’ll see…
Never getting a punch is a talent in itself  Grin. With the drama they created with his brother i wont be surprised Floyd Mayweather trying to knock him out but when is the last time Mayweather knocked out anyone  Cheesy.

Connor McGregor got a clean uppercut on Floyd. It isn’t out of the realm of possibility that Logan Paul could do the same. Logan is much bigger than Connor and has been exclusively training to throw punches, so he might have the knockout power Connor didn’t. I think that’s everyone’s hope anyway.
If Logan Paul is able to connect a solid punch in his chin then there is a possibility that he could knock him out because with age the chin might get weaker, but considering the level they are in there is no way Logan Paul will be able to land one punch on Floyd Mayweather.
683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 04, 2021, 05:13:34 PM
I have got some amount from the last bull. It was a great journey although I had lost huge amount at the end. Now, I'm only holding USDT and planning to utilize the money for buying BTC long term.
Will we ever see BTC below $10k? Actually I'm waiting for BTC to reach $20 so that I can invest my 50% and later on if price fall further, another 50%. But what if it doesn’t go such below? I will miss the potential gain.
How come you lost huge amount of money, i believe that you are talking about the potential gain you could have attained if you sold the coins at the all time high valuation, if not no one in the right sense will be selling the coins at a loss since you are around the market for a while. There is no point in getting disappointed thinking you missed out on a potential profit as the market could potentially reach those valuations again in the future.

So, what do you think? Will we see BTC $10k anytime soon? Maybe in next year or in 2023? Or I should start DCA right now?
Everyone will be dreaming about the price of Bitcoin going down to those valuation, i am expecting a blood bath after the final rally and i am expecting the market to come down around $20k or below, lets see how the market will perform in the next two years.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 02, 2021, 07:52:52 PM
~
If cricket becomes an Olympic sport, then definitely sports-crazy countries such as China, Japan, South Korea and the US are going to take note. Because for them, an Olympic medal is priceless.
That is the expectation that more countries will emphasis on cricket if it is an Olympic sport but the problems i am hearing for a long time is that the ICC was not interested in including cricket in the Olympics because they do not have any incentives.

BTW, anyone watched the Netherlands vs Ireland ODI today? It was a cracker of a match and in the end Netherlands won by 1 run. I paid ₹399 for annual subscription of FanCode, to watch this match.  Grin
Glad that i did not place a bet on this match because i would have placed my bet on Ireland to win because they have some solid players who will perform once in a while but i have not heard about Netherlands playing outstanding cricket in recent memory.

With the subscription will we be able to view all the matches and is it available globally?.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 02, 2021, 06:32:48 PM
Tyron Woodley was once a UFC champion, defended that title four times, but had lost to a former welterweight Kamaru Usman (current champ) by decision. You can be "not so famous" and be a champ. The only disadvantage of Woodley is that he is more wrestler than striker.
Tyron Woodley was a NCAA Division I Wrestler but he had knockout power in his hands when he was rising in ranks in the UFC and then after becoming a champion we started to see him fight patiently and his explosive power were not in display and now he is on a loosing streak but he lost against world class fighters and i believe that Tyron Woodley can strike against Jake Paul.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 01, 2021, 11:51:16 PM
You'll never know that it's really turning the match when someone got his very lucky punch. I've seen some matches that did upset the whole crowd because of it.

But your points are valid and I agree to what you've said when it comes to technicalities and knowing that it's Floyd. Well, that's just the hope for that one lucky moment.
You can only hope to see Floyd Mayweather loose and all of his fights are attracting huge crowds because they expect him to get defeated and he always wins with his superior defensive boxing skills and now i do not think it is a fair fight as he is fighting someone who is much heavier than him but Logan Paul does not belong to his league in terms of the boxing skills and i find it hard to see any lucky punch going through against the best defensive boxing in history.
687  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: June 01, 2021, 11:28:02 PM
It's no more dangerous than boxing or MMA, and regarding it not being interesting, I personally can't stand soccer and motorsports, but some people can't get enough, so I doubt there are not enough people that will find this entertaining.
I would to say is they are slapping full on without any defensive mechanism and it is going to hurt them without a doubt and may be they will be concussed as well and these are conducted as fun games and i cannot view those as real sporting events. When it comes to your hate for Soccer which is the highly watched sports in the world and i would like to know what all sporting events you watch as i am curious to know.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the fastest asset to hit 1 trillion marketcap on: May 31, 2021, 08:47:05 PM
It has happened a lot of times since the first halving and its not new. Back then a single FUD from China's statement about bitcoin would destroy it current ATH and now we have Elon Musk the-know-it-all that tweet nonsense stuff about crypto yet people believe him. Wether you like it or not, all those people that are here for some quick money, helps pump up the price and I think its good
Do you really think that majority are believing everything Elon Musk is tweeting, it has become a trend and i do not following him to believe everything he says but whenever he tries to created these kind of hype i usually jump into what he is trying to achieve to ride the rally. I understand the risk involved but i think it is not a huge deal to test with a couple of hundred Euros.

I'd rather see bitcoin's price at the current 30k ish rather than below 10k tbh
I would rather like to see the market going down further than $30k ish simply because i want to see the same rally yet again from a very lower valuation to its present all time high valuation and give me the opportunity to book my huge profit unlike any other market  Grin.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: May 31, 2021, 07:21:37 PM
~
Take the case of India for example. When the news of an impending ban came out, large number of users in India sold their coins in panic. And within the next 2-3 months, the exchange rates went up by more than 100%. On the other hand, investors in more cryptocurrency friendly countries such as Russia and Japan don't face these issues. They are profiting from their investments and they can chose the time when they want to sell their crypto-assets.
Why would anyone sell off the coins in panic if a country bans Bitcoin, there are several ways to hold the coin and cash out and there are many P2P exchanges as well which will sort these kind of issues. You only need to blame yourself if you sell off the coins in a panic.

Some of these countries might ban here and there and that will not affect the market as long as there no global ban and it is highly unlikely for a trillion dollar market even though everyone is expecting the market to be regulated.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: May 31, 2021, 05:23:32 PM
I wish I could agree with you but all the "strong" economies are propped up by fake things. Fake money, more fiat pumped into the system. I mean even big global companies in Europe and USA all fall if they close for a few weeks and yet we are expected to live on savings for months.

That is what COVID revealed to me,,, that banks and financial systems and economies are so, so weak with nothing to stand on.
I am literally surprised that the economy still holding up even if the entire industries were on a stand still for a long time and still the stock market was not having any major correction and i was expecting the stock market to fall badly last year but that did not happen and still the market is holding well and with the financial aide these governments are pumping will hold the market for a while, we will literally see a major correction.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin will Flip Bitcoin on: May 31, 2021, 03:30:26 PM
~
that proves that if the power of bitcoin to the crypto market is dominant. there's no coin that can rule bitcoin.
The entire cryptocurrency market depends on Bitcoin and there were many that was shilling Dogecoin in the past including Elon Musk before the rally and it did not have this kind of impact and when he started shilling when the Bitcoin price started rallying it had an impact and it rallied like we never seen before.

Bitcoin is the same level as gold in term store of value.
I do not completely agree with the statement, store of value should not be highly volatile.
692  Economy / Speculation / Re: why the price of Bitcoin dumping? on: May 31, 2021, 01:15:39 PM
I wanna know the reason of dumping bitcoin price. I am new so i wanna know a lot about it.
When you started the topic the market might be going down but the 24 hours percentage shows it has grown above 3% and the market is able to sustain above $30k which is a good sign and whenever the market reaches those support levels we usually see the market getting increased interest in buying more and if that support can be sustained we might see another rally in the coming months.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Defishit finance of uniswap on: May 30, 2021, 11:56:23 PM
I tried swapping on uniswap with 0xbtc and it charged me $ 5 in ethereum per transaction, then it told me I didn't have enough ethereum. if this is the new defi finance it is a failure. much better binance.
If you are using Uniswap then you need to pay higher fees for your transaction because of ETH, all i do is to make transactions only with BSC chain coins and i am not even using Uniswap because of the higher fees and i do not want to give away $10 to $20 every transaction and so is the reason BSC became a success instantly with Pancakeswap.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: A bubble is when price is not justified on: May 30, 2021, 06:57:26 PM
During that bubble there were many stocks that never recovered but from it emerged the tech giants of today like Google and Amazon, and something similar is going to happen to the market of cryptocurrencies, from all the coins that exist today only a handful of them will remain during the next decade.
I do share the same and we might not see many coins that are in the market today, when i started there were other hyped coins and some of the died eventually and after the arrival of the token market we started seeing a lot more shit coins in the market as it became easy to start a project to raise money and then keep on shilling to pump the coin and eventually the developers will cash out and shut the project altogether. We have seen many like that in the past and we will see the same trend in the future.

695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano hit $3? on: May 30, 2021, 06:01:47 PM
Ethereum make another ATH after Bitcoin hit the recent ATH , if Ethereum can make it then why not ADA?
The entire market rally started because of the halving and hence it is obvious why the price reached its all time high and when it comes to Ethereum they are changing their consensus mechanisms to POS and some have invested heavily to stake the coins and you need 32 ETH to become a full validator has changed things in favor of its price and the market started rallying. If ADA could pull off some gimmicks like these then they will also rally.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin become more stable than Bitcoin on: May 30, 2021, 03:44:49 PM
Dogeocoin couple of days 0.5% minus only. It became a stable coin  Grin
Yes good luck with the stable coin theory  Cheesy. People are investing in Doge whenever there is a correction hoping that they would get a good profit and you cannot complain.

People feel more confident to invest now in dogecoin.
Seems like it stop being a pump and dump and people hold it long term.
May be the new users are more confident in investing in Dogecoin, i did not touch Doge after the market rallied and i wont be investing in them anytime soon but that will be a coin i will be holding when the market settles down and hopefully will make the same profit during the next rally as well.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 30, 2021, 01:10:42 PM

If you look at the governing bodies for other sports, you can see that most of them are being administered by former players (FIFA, FIBA, FIH.etc). However, the case with ICC is different. Out of the 16 presidents and 4 chairmen till date, almost all of them have been businessmen with no link to cricket.
If these sports bodies are looking for improving the game then they should give opportunities for former players who are capable enough and i am certain you can find more than a dozen capable candidates from former players and putting them to improve the sports will go a long way.

The biggest joke was when Sharad Pawar (an Indian politician) became the president of the ICC. Nowadays cricket has become a very rich sport with annual turnover of billions of USD. And unfortunately, this has become a curse as well.
It looks like BCCI and its money power, if not how can jokes like these happen. All the sports organisation are there to make money and that attracts people from different sectors and may be that is what we are seeing here.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All the crypto industry is running by shills on: May 30, 2021, 12:12:10 PM
Basically, most of the crypto channels are run by scammers and shills who are in the business of selling fake signals to newcomers, it's not so easy to do you own research, but with more patience and less avarice, it's possible to achieve.
You cannot necessarily call them scammers but they will promote anything if you are willing to pay them and this is nothing new in the market, a couple of hundred dollars and they will start shilling for any project and this is going on for a long time. So anyone new in the market should be aware of these things whether they see something in social media or elsewhere you need to understand these things.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 30, 2021, 09:39:36 AM
And yesterday there was a BCCI meeting. As expected, they have delayed the decision on the T20 World Cup once again. The message is very clear - they want the world cup either to be held in India, or postponed to next year.
So the ICC is willing to delay the World Cup once again so that the BCCI could conduct the IPL. They should have cancelled the entire tournament if the ICC cannot come to a conclusive decision on when they want to hold the World Cup.

So if they are moving the World Cup to 2022 and if i am not wrong T20 World Cup is conducted every two years and will they conduct two World Cups next year, In January 2022 they will conduct the 2020 edition and by December will they conduct the 2022 version Cheesy.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 30, 2021, 08:34:25 AM
Sri Lankan board is the biggest obstacle for growth of cricket in that country. When Kumar Sangakkara was planning to contest for the post of ICC chairman, the SLCB came up with some baseless charges of match fixing against him, forcing Sangakkara to cancel his candidature.
Why would the Sri Lankan cricket board come up with these baseless accusation, i did not understand this point, someone who is in power in Sri Lanka looking for same job position. If these targeted accusation is the reason for him to cancel his candidature then i feel pity about the whole situation.

It was a big loss not only for the Sri Lankan cricket community, but also for the global cricket fans. Sangakkara as the ICC chairman and Ganguly as the BCCI president would have done wonders. But what to say? Now we have the businessman Greg Barclay as the ICC chairman and he is interested only in money.
It would have boosted them as these were good players during their time and educated enough to hold the positions who really understands cricket and knows how to improve the game unlike some who have no business getting to those positions of power and do nothing.
