681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 31, 2023, 09:17:52 AM
      -    In general, it cannot be denied that gambling came first. Before bitcoin appearance. And it is also obvious that there are many people all over the world who are obsessed with playing gambling, especially in the modern era that we have today where even if you are at home you can gamble at an online casino without any hassle.

That's why Bitcoin should not be compared to gambling because of the size of their difference, it is because Bitcoin can be considered a long term investment and gambling is not, but rather a type of entertainment that can be wasted if you just want to have fun.
Well, the truth is that people love to gamble rather than invest. Maybe they'd just know about Bitcoin because it was already been an option now in gambling sites but thinking this would give them interest, I don't think so. Because as long as fiat still exists, we can't assure that gamblers will choose Bitcoin, with the high fees and transaction delay - that was a big deal for them.

Yes, we can't compare Bitcoin to gambling in any aspect and much more about popularity because whether we like it or not, Gambling has been known for many years and people are happy despite suffering losses.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 31, 2023, 06:17:38 AM
So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.
Greedy is basic human nature, nothing is wrong with that. I ever in the past when didn't take advantage of the opportunity so that make it all gone. what we can be done this is how to manage it. The meaning is, we should not do the same thing again in the future. So when we have the same situation again, we should be as much as possible to control it. I know $1200 is big money, who doesn't want to get big winning, but if the reality is we only can have chance wins of $200, there is no harm if only take that $200 only.  Smiley

That's a problem for most since not all the time we can control ourselves. There is a time that we are too aggressive and wanted to win more especially when we got the momentum already without thinking that the next bet will be our unlucky bet. That is why I would say that most gamblers usually can never take home big winnings. This is how gambling works, we can win at this time but can't think that we can win all day and this is because luck never stays long for us.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 30, 2023, 12:15:15 PM
It is not cheating yourself if you're eating out and enjoying the good food or anything where you spend your money you are happy with because you've worked hard on it and you deserve it. People desires, decisions and realizations varies. I do understand that spending less on food is a good thing and to invest some of it into assets like Bitcoin.

As long as you can afford to do so, there's no problem with that. Each of us has their own strategy if it's about investing. If it is comfortable to you to less your spending budget in eating out then that's good.

While the others don't really have budget on investing because that's how they value themselves. No need to debate on this matter, it's a good motivation out of nowhere that there's random person giving his opinion and became an inspiration to the others.
Each and everyone deserved to have an expensive meal as long as we afford it. But that person that OP had talked about is a person who had thinking about the future, not just today. He chooses not to spend his money on an expensive meal but he chooses to put into something that gives him more. It is not really about if we can afford it or not but what I see is that this person showing something to us that we have to be smart in spending our money. Foods are still there but losing an opportunity can never be back again.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 30, 2023, 09:46:43 AM
I don't think anyone here expected Donaire to lose, but it turns out the opposite happened. We thought Santiago would be a good match for Donaire's target to KO his opponent, but Santiago has matured and knows how to play the game well. He clearly knew how to beat Donaire, resulting in a unanimous decision win.

What can I say, I guess it's time for Donaire to hang up his gloves. He is already old, and it's evident he doesn't have the same activity he had in the past. To think that Santiago isn't even a top contender, and he still defeated Donaire via UD, that's enough to conclude his boxing journey is over.

Congratulations to Santiago! It was a good win for him, and now he is the champion.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - why no major pump? What to expect now? on: July 30, 2023, 07:10:25 AM
I have only been invested in XRP for 3 months and its great they have now won the case but I expected more.

For months I have been reading and watching videos online of predictions ranging from $2-10 when they win case and it didnt even reach $1. Why?

I will hold for now and buy more if we go lower but did expect more , what is everyone else thinking?
No, you won't. I tell you that even reaching $3 is pretty hard, so better not to expect $10 because you only get disappointed. Even before and even during the bull season, XRP never climbs high unlike how these shitcoins do. It is somewhat to see that the developers don't let it happen. As you can see, it never attracts investors because if that scenario and if you expect to earn a huge profit, XRP makes you fail.

I suggest selling you XRP and moving to other altcoins. There you can get a chance to double or get more profit.
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: July 30, 2023, 06:34:34 AM
Why will someone new to trading will only rely on that instead of taking their time to learn how to trade by themselves, the question is for how long will they keep depending on copy trading, there are many ways to learn trading and become a professional, i won't advise a newbie to go on this instead of taking their time to learn and make discovery on trading, your discussion will also best fit on the trading discussion board, you can move the thread there,
That really matters in how you consider copy-trading on you. If you are doing this for just a while like just for less than a month, I didn't see any problem with it because that also gives you an idea. But if we become reliant on this, that was a problem because this won't lead us to success. Because as newbies, what we think is all about learning, not earning. And we gain ideas from our experience and being into copy-trading gives some light on what we gonna do next and to soon to become independent.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: How billionaires are really affecting the economy. on: July 29, 2023, 09:50:54 PM
...
Everyone think being rich is rich and they just get the money out of thin air. Isn’t that is funny as well? I think somewhere in the forum I have read a nice article stating that how rich people are also tangled in the status maintaining challenges. They also have a lifestyle that they need to maintain which is ultimately built from the income source they have.

Indirectly they need to keep the business up and running all the time. They have to feed the salaries, keep business in operation all the time. We should keep down the debate that rich are happy every minute. :-o
Rich are afraid to become poor which is why they still work hard to maintain their finance level and even become richer.
Well, they have different lifestyles because they can do whatever they want as they have plenty of money. They'll somewhat be a part of growing our economy, their participation plays some role but guesses what, these billionaires never pay the exact taxes they have. Well, doesn't matter to me but what matters most is that these rich people give job opportunities to jobless people and help them survive.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 29, 2023, 09:27:31 PM
As children their way of thinking is not same with those of adults, putting a reward for every time they watch the bitcoin cartoon clips don't you think the children mentality in them may out their focus on the (candy) reward. For while they're viewing the cartoon their mind is on the reward just waiting for the cartoon clip to end let them take their reward especially when it doesn't interest them to watch it but because you have coerce them to with an attached reward.

With my personal experience I have had with my uncle kids while watching educative cartoon clips with them. Before we go on with it I'll tell them all that I'll ask many questions about all the things that were said and showcased in the cartoon clip and for each person that gives me answers to my questions would have a reward.

Kids usually get attracted to cartoon movies and I don't know why. Putting Bitcoin into that can ( maybe) grasp their attention as well but the question is if that will remain in their mind. Yes, we know that kids are not really prepared enough to take responsibility like adults. Indeed, they would probably listen and gain their attention but I know their mind is not ready enough for this, they're still life playing games and enjoying life as a kid. So I don't think we need to force them to learn crypto if we know that they can't. Honestly, there is a perfect time for doing this, let it come and be done.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 29, 2023, 01:26:51 PM

Nonito was most taller, So he get more range as compared to other people. The shorter boxer will be easy for the Nonito, he can crush the short boxer using his hand power. In addition he had a power punch compared to the Santiago.Santiago had win many old experience boxer using his power arm. This fight will against the two power arm fighter. So the game winner will be the maximum punch player. The Nonito should win the game against the Santiago to prove his power against the most powerful player. This will make them to prove his power and make other to think about the match, even this help the Nonito to get the championship.

Nonito Donaire could win this fight easily because of his natural speed and power but the problem here is if he can still manage to take punches and managed to survive up to 12 rounds of non-stop action. Because as we know, he is no longer feeling like his old self, and taking multiple power punches is way more harder than before. Most likely he will higher his chance to win when Santiago distances himself and will not gonna choose to throw multiple power punches throughout the rounds because he is scared of the counter punches from Donaire.

I'm pretty confident that Donaire could still survive in a 12 round judging on Santiago's style of boxing. I mean he's the kind of boxer who does not have a good footwork and head movements and he's not a knock out puncher as well, it is a perfect thing of an opponents disadvantage for Donaire as he still has the speed and a bit of power is still there regardless of his age. Donaire does not need to knock his opponent down, he just need to play smart as he is out of his prime already and It was all evident from all his previous fights that he's easily gassed out in the later rounds - so that could turn out to be an advantage for Santiago to bring Donaire down.
The real question here is that, could Donaire still pull this one off and take his former vacant title?

I don't think it will reach the judges' scorecards. Santiago isn't a special boxer who poses a big threat to Donaire's goal of becoming the oldest champion. Look at Donaire's last 3 games (excluding Inoue); they were all KO wins, while Santiago's last 3 fights were won via decision. In case this fight goes to a decision, Donaire still has the edge, as he is taller and quicker. Age is just a number for him, as he has proven himself many times, and without Inoue in his path, things should not be hard for him.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 29, 2023, 12:23:36 PM
Going to the big event tomorrow this is the result of the poll for this super fight

Terrence "Bud" Crawford   - 24 (88.9%)
Errol "The Truth" Spence   - 3 (11.1%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)
Total Voters: 27

They have their final face-off both fighters did not trash talk each other, from all the boxing events this year this one is by far the most exciting because we have three great fights in this event, The Donaire - Santiago title match, the Isaac Pitbull - Cabrera match and the much awaited Crawford - Spence fight, I hope we can watch this fight, I'll be early to check the live feed on social media.

Even outside the forum, Crawford is still the heavy favorite. There have been rumors before that it was Spence who was ducking Crawford, so in the minds of the fans, Crawford is the better boxer. Additionally, if we look at Crawford's boxing record, all of his previous fights have ended in knockouts, so he would be breaking that streak if he does not win here via knockout. Personally, I believe that Spence is strong, but I like Crawford to win by KO because the odds are very attractive.
691  Economy / Speculation / Re: How did you see BTC in future? on: July 29, 2023, 11:37:48 AM
Within the current year, $40,000 is indeed a reachable target. $50,000 is way too high approaching the halving. $40,000 is the highest the price could hit. I don't even think that while it is reachable, it is easy. It is possible the rest of the year would just be sideways with $35,000 being the highest.

2024 and 2025 are years with so much expectations though. I think that the previous ATH would be broken either in the end part of 2024 or in 2025.
We're expecting bullish by 2025 but before it happens, prices may move sideways just like what we normally see.
As the halving is coming, we've been too positive as well but it wasn't many price improvements to see as it still moving quite low. That is why I would agree that reaching $40k is likely impossible but $35k is much reachable indeed.
These days, we are still uncertain about the incoming but we do believe and have faith that it will come.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’ve created a tg channel with trading calls (signals) on: July 28, 2023, 09:35:47 PM
Well, I'm going to be honest with you OP that it was hard to convince people from using signals these days, they are somewhat educated themselves already. No matter what you have to do or any promotion that you have this will just be wasted and rejected, maybe some will fall into that but the majority will ignore you.

In fact, I couldn't really imagine what is the purpose of doing signals for free because if I do that, I simply ask for money from my subscribers. No, it wasn't just free, so I don't believe that word, sorry.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: July 28, 2023, 11:48:02 AM
Well, you are too lucky because Pepe accidentally had pump. I'd accidentally because it was unusual to happen to projects that don't have any market contribution. Meme coins are shitcoins - a sad reality. If you are too lucky these days OP but I will tell you that it was hard to believe for another meme coin to soar high like Pepe and Shiba Inu. I would say that stop focusing on finding them because you will only find it regretful instead, have your time spent wisely looking for potential coins, not on hyped and scam projects.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 27, 2023, 11:17:20 AM

Maybe he will start by unifying the belts with Tapales, and let's see what his decision will be next.

That's his next goal and once he achieve that, for sure he will not stay, instead he will choose to move up and challenge the champion in the next division. Inoue is currently in his prime, it would be an honor to his country if he will break or at least tie with Pacman to be an 8th division champion. Inoue is a very discipline fighter, he loves to win so I have no doubt he will achieve the highest success.

As per ranking, he is currently at the number 2, but soon he will be at the top since he started from the very low weight class and slowly climbing up.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 27, 2023, 10:47:10 AM
On our local bookies i managed to get a nice bet as i'm betting for TNT +18.5 @1.99, different from crypto bookies.
~snip~

Nice job, kabayan! Regardless, TNT still covered the spread, but it's good you were able to get 1.99 odds. Was that from live betting? Because the odds are high, it's supposed to be only 1.90 and below if it's pre-game odds.

It's pre-game odds kabayan. The odds drop when the TNT katropa led by almost or 20 points in the first quarter.

TNT +18.5 @1.99
TNT +19.5 @1.86
TNT +20.5 @1.79

Above were the pre-game odds on our local bookies, two hours before the game to be exact. Maybe next time we can't see this kind of odds when TNT is playing as they always cover the spread when bookies put this wide margin.

That was a great steal; they were underestimated, despite having some close games in the past. It's good to gamble with local bookies as you can easily cash out your funds, especially if it's through GCASH, which is a very popular payment system in the Philippines.

Tomorrow, we have two games:

-Rain or Shine vs Bolts
-Northport vs Converge
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 26, 2023, 01:31:49 PM
Even if they hype Fulton, people would still favor Inoue because they will look at the fighter's performance. The fact that Inoue was the favorite despite being the challenger shows a big underestimation of Fulton's capabilities. The guy was so confident that he could successfully defend his title that he flew to Japan to fight Inoue. However, as usual with all of Inoue's opponents, the expectations of the majority of the fans did come true.

There's still hope for Fulton to become a champion. Maybe he will move up or choose to stay in the division, since I'm sure Inoue will move up once he successfully unifies the belts.

Fulton tried to dictate the tempo on the first round but Inoue is such talented that he is able to prevent it from happening.  Fulton see that and possibly hesitated to implement their game plan.  Inoue just beat Fulton in jobs, speed, combination and angles where to execute punches.  And as a result, he was caught on the eighth round where a combination of body to head punch is proven again as a devastating combo.  The shot to the body made Fulton to lower his guard and a straight right hits right on the pocket stumbles Fulton and eventually goes down after another punch.

Fulton's game plan was to hit and run, but that didn't work against Inoue, who proved to be incredibly fast. Eventually, Fulton found himself in a situation similar to Butler's, attempting to avoid exchanging punches with Inoue and opting to run throughout the fight. Unfortunately, Inoue caught up to him, which caused Fulton to slow down. Perhaps Fulton realized that if he didn't engage more, he would easily lose his belt. So, he took a risk, but it resulted in a devastating loss.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: July 26, 2023, 12:58:03 PM
I have full confidence in Inuoe that he will dismantle Tapales with his punches and that will make him win easily. He is a brave fighter. Tapales might be bigger but that is not what we consider,if you watch the victory of Inoue over Fulton yesterday, you will know that he will be the winner in November 20. Tapales sluggish moves isn't good enough to knock Inuoe out of his way to be the champion. I will bet on Inuoe because it is a sure win. The Filipino might still prove us wrong if he can withstand and win the fight.

I thought there's no date yet. But in any case, this will be a very good opportunity for the Filipino boxer to get a lucrative fight.
He can even get a deal that can be a very good for his retirement, even if we say, he has slim chance with Inoue.
But so far, Inoue is not yet in the list of the "elite" fighters as based on this article -

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2365353-five-boxers-who-are-just-a-win-away-from-being-elite

The names of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, Alvarez are seemingly on the list.
Whereas, Lomancheko, Santa Cruz, Mikey Garcia, Wilder and Crawford were said to be a win away when the article was written in 2015.
So this year, 2023, I believe, Inoue will be on this list of elite boxers as he attained the 4-weight champion of the world.
If he will continue to win fight after fight, he will soon find his name along with boxing greats such as Pacquiao.

It's too early to consider Inoue as an elite boxer. While he may be a four-time world champion already, there are still questions about whether he can dominate outside his country. Most of his fights have taken place in Japan, so I believe he needs to come out and compete in front of bigger crowds and challenge the best in the next division he moves up to, assuming he wins this unification fight.

There's no doubt that Inoue will dominate in the super bantamweight division, but as he moves up in weight, there will be questions about whether he can still carry his speed and power and continue to prove himself.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 25, 2023, 09:10:38 AM
The events just started the first match featured Maldonado against Takei, where Takei won via stoppage via liver punch as of this writing there will be two more fights before the main event.

https://www.facebook.com/100095103423448/videos/2928904020577106/ I hope this one will not be taken down so we can all see what I expect to be an action fight match between Fulton and Inoue.

I just saw your post, and unfortunately, the live feed was already taken down. Hopefully, there will be more streamers showing a live stream of this particular fight, as I didn't see a PPV streaming on my IPTV either. Anyway, I hope Inoue will have a good fight. Good luck to us.

700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: July 24, 2023, 03:48:37 PM
Have bought some ETH last week but i don't know if there will be another progress in the next couple of months but i am not in a hurry because I know that this will take long before making it there or at least next year before it ends again.
Okay, just think about what it happened to ETH in the past few days. There is a dump and there is a pump as we can see, and this will happen in the coming days, months, or years. If it dumps today, the pump will be coming next, and this is why I don't lose hopes and keep trusting this project because I know that it won't disappoint me. Yet, things are never done so easily and fast which is why learning to manage our emotions and to hold is somewhat we have to acquire in order to get the results that we wanted.
