681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can’t cope on my own. What do you think I should do? on: October 14, 2023, 11:23:46 AM
Then after some time I decided to try my luck again so I played one of his games and i won i was so happy and it was as though the curse placed on me has been lifted and I tried some more games and i won again and again and since the beginning of the new season i only lost twice and i am now proud of my gambling achievements.

According to the channel free games are limited and we can only enjoy for a month and now the month is almost over and only VIPs will be entitled to games when the month elapses. I have been having doubts whether to join the VIP zone because I don’t want to be scammed that’s why i want to know your opinions.

What do you all think i should do?
Believe me, it is not a curse that makes you win, but you could say that the victory you get is a temptation to not be able to stop gambling. Casinos apply stimuli and measure your response after being awarded a win. Then you will be interested and increasingly confident in playing at this casino that you consider very promising. We know that this channel has succeeded in bringing you into its circle of fraud. So would you believe that it is a blessing that playing at other casinos is not profitable and then finding a gambling house that is willing to lose money on you? Of course not, from the start you started to enter the group's channel and until now you are still interested, meaning you have succeeded in being deceived by them.
Winning at first is a bait where you're encouraged to gamble more and enjoy your early days in gambling. Indeed, not a surprise that is why we should be careful in those groups that we join and of course, the platform. Many sites looked good and would give us a favor at first but later on, we found out that they were just playing us while they saw us as having interest. They just observe how we gamble as that will give them an idea who we are. That is manipulation and many gamblers have fallen to such a trick.

Better to know other projects rather than hoping for them to rise again as it was impossible. Though I won't say they are worthless, however, with their performance after bullish, it is not really convincing enough to trust and think for a profit. That will tell us that investors are quite losing their interest and demand is declining. Honestly, they're out of the trend already and investors nowadays are watching AI projects and meme coins. These gaming projects seem to be going to decline more rather than seeing them recover, the chance is very slim.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: October 13, 2023, 09:59:56 PM
I'd like to hear from those of you who have experienced this or are still dealing with it. Please share your testimonies.

I don't have direct experience like that. However, it cannot be denied that this could happen to some people who really like gambling. Especially for those who are addicted, it will be difficult to escape the memories and shadows of their gambling activities. In this case, initially it might just be for fun in between work so that you don't get bored, don't get bored, or don't get stressed. Maybe it also started from playing regular games. However, over time, this will actually backfire on the perpetrator. Because if you lose when gambling at work, this will definitely affect your mood. I'm not sure if someone spoke it wouldn't have an effect. However, defeat and losing money will definitely affect our focus at work, especially when we are working, plus the pressure of the workload at that time.

That's why you should be professional, when you're at work you should just focus on your work. Do gambling at home or outside working hours so you can focus on the gambling you are doing.
As long as we can manage our time correctly and it never affects our performances that is still okay provided that we are doing this during break time, not during office hours. There is a perfect time for gambling which is I don't understand why some gamblers will gamble at work when we have time for a break and after work. In fact, management won't allow them to do other stuff during their working time. And more often, the results are not good, and possibly we just lose our mode which certainly affects our performance.
684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dangers of trading on: October 13, 2023, 03:00:06 PM
There's risk involved in all of man's endeavors, not just related to trading.
But I quite agree with you that you need knowledge before getting involved in trading. Moreso, you also need to trade with what you can afford to lose, because the market can turn south.

no one in this world can escape from risk, so risk when trading is a very natural thing that can be experienced by everyone who tries to become a trader, currently there are many videos or tutorials that explain the best steps to reduce risk when trading.  trading, and knowledge like that is something that every trader must have, especially beginner traders, remember that trading is an activity that requires intelligence, a lot of capital is not that important, if you have good skills then you can make profits quickly.
It is a mere fact that a trader must understand how trading works. We can earn profit from trading but we also suffer losses if we get wrong especially if we have no knowledge about this. A reason why we did not rush to enter trading nor we would think about earning fast but instead, make it a priority to learn it first. Many people got a huge mistake from thinking that trading will be a way to becoming rich because it was not that easy, you may be earning today but can't be sure of the next day.
685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach all-time-high before halving. - BitQuant on: October 12, 2023, 09:54:38 PM
Now is the time that determines the conditions for the halving day that will occur in early 2024. If this year's price closes still as it is now then you can be sure that the halving day will be difficult to create a new ATH, and of course we have to be prepared for all conditions and if things go bad happens then holding on and being patient is a better thing.
Regarding the issue of surviving and being patient, I think there is no need to be warned because everyone also has their own way of surviving and being patient when facing conditions that are not as usual. But if we focus on the closing price which is still below $30K for this year, it could indeed be very possible for Bitcoin to reach a new ATH even though this is not impossible for Bitcoin. It's just that there are more levels for Bitcoin to pass through so it will be a little difficult to see a new ATH if the price of Bitcoin does not return to above $30K within this year.
The problem is that we still believe in things that it was not possible. We could think about ATH and we are certain that it comes but we never know when it comes exactly. Therefore, we can assume that we are bullish this year or before halving but based on my experience, the price of Bitcoin skyrockets after halving. Of course, we believe that is in our mind and with our experience but still, we can't assume that what will happen in the past will be happening again at the same time. Perhaps, everyone can make their own speculation but we don't have to wonder why it fails because nobody was able to predict the market right.
686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Don't be afraid of buying Bitcoin on: October 12, 2023, 09:33:14 PM
Rich people can never be afraid of taking risks as they are not afraid to lose their money as well, unlike those who are in the middle class or poor class.
As we can see, wealthy people mostly get into making business and investments because they have enough capital to start with.
These are the most common reasons why people are afraid to buy Bitcoin
 - lack of funds
 - lack of knowledge
 - hearing negative feedback/scam issues

It was hard to convince someone to get into buying when we were already influenced by negativity.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: October 12, 2023, 12:30:37 PM
You've got a point there; it seems the hype around Casimero wasn't matched by his performance, and it's hard to see him matching up against Inoue successfully. It's pretty funny that he jokingly called Inoue his best friend in an interview before the fight.

A rematch might be possible, but it doesn't look all that likely. It's not exactly a high-profile bout, and I think Casimero might be better off moving up to face a tougher challenger, like Nery. However, beating Nery could be a tougher nut to crack than Oguni, for sure.

Casimero is self-destructing, or he is deteriorating. His promoters are spending a lot of money only to give that kind of performance for is not acceptable. He was training hard but i think he needs a legit trainer now, not just rely on his brother as this might end his career abruptly.

He was supposed to look good in this fight but it seems he was revealed, i mean how can he call out Inoue if he kept on getting that kind of sub-par performance? A rematch is unlikely because the aim here is to get higher ranking in every fight won so i think Nery could be a good fight if his promoters can secure that.

Right from the get-go, it seemed like Casimero was off-balance, and he lost some of his speed. It appeared as if he was eager to finish the fight early with a knockout, which might have caused him to tire out. This strategy didn't work out so well, especially since his opponent had a strong chin and absorbed many good counter punches while continuing the fight.

It's definitely a draw, and I'm sure quite a few of us were hoping for a KO or a clear win by decision for Casimero.

Now, it makes me curious what was the odds for draw, isn't it x100?
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: October 12, 2023, 11:52:49 AM
The fight ended not as we wanted it seems the referee ruled it a draw because of the cut on Oguni's head the rule is if there's a cut because of the headbut before round 4 it is considered a draw, I noticed that Casimero lost sting on his punches, but he deserves this win because the cut results from punches and not from headbut there's a possibility of a draw but with this fight we have seen that Casimero is easily losing steam he caught Oguni with big punches but failed to bring him down, could be Oguni has a solid chin or Casimero losses in his punches.
I don't think he stands a chance against Inoue if they ever meet.

You've got a point there; it seems the hype around Casimero wasn't matched by his performance, and it's hard to see him matching up against Inoue successfully. It's pretty funny that he jokingly called Inoue his best friend in an interview before the fight.

689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9 years ago today, an epic battle played out on bitcoin exchanges. on: October 11, 2023, 10:00:23 PM
9 years ago when Bitcoin was not yet known globally, people never thought about if the price would increase and that person is a big example. It was not a mistake IMO because if we are also having Bitcoin at that time, we probably sell them cheaply. Just because of the current of Bitcoin, we could really say that was a big mistake and regrettable event that happened to his life and for sure, he couldn't imagine what he did as well. But it was 9 years ago and all of us have no idea what will happen next, and even now.
690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Elon Musk keep what he said or not? on: October 11, 2023, 09:42:13 PM
Nobody knows if he will keep his word or not. Besides being a businessman, he is a speculator. This kind of person is very likely to lie in order to reach his personal goals. Don't put faith on him or on any other whale. When you do this, you are expecting Bitcoin to become an hostage of those people, so when it's interesting for them, BTC skyrockets, and when they don't want anymore, BTC crashes. Bitcoin has to be independent and non-manipulable by figures like Musk.
Well, Elon Musk is a very influential person and whatever he has said on any social media platform can influence the mindset of the readers. Maybe we could say that this won't affect the price of Bitcoin but can't deny the fact that the number of followers who have been in the crypto space will also give impact the market trend.

Anyway, we're not sure if he is lying or not but he could do nothing to manipulate the price but for Doge, still he can.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 11, 2023, 01:15:58 PM
He didn't liked being sandwiched by Theis in the previous play so he took his revenge on the next play. It's a well disguised hit on the nuts and it honestly doesn't look like a "dirty" foul without the replay. Appreciate the refs for sending a strong message as early as preseason and hopefully they apply the same rules to players like Draymond.

He's already a marked man; everyone is aware of his reputation. Even if a player slightly exaggerates contact, the referees will blow the whistle right away. He's familiar with that kind of scrutiny, so he shouldn't keep adding to his bad reputation, as it could potentially come back to haunt him in a significant way one day. I recall back when he was still with Memphis, they used to label Draymond as a dirty player. So, what are they calling Brook now?
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: October 11, 2023, 12:44:28 PM
I'm pretty confident I won't miss that one. With plenty of streamers online, there's no issue catching that fight. Casimero taking on a relatively unknown fighter might not be the best matchup, but the fact that it's happening in Japan could set the stage for some serious hype around a potential Inoue vs. Casimero showdown.

They say Casimero should secure a win by KO, so it's a smart move to bet on him for a KO victory.

Unfortunately, there aren't any betting odds available yet for Casimero winning by KO. Right now, it's just the moneyline, and the odds are only at 1.15.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: October 10, 2023, 10:37:12 AM
How will you feel if someone you know or just a friend of a friend walk up to you and ask you to finance them in gambling in exchange for a portion of their winnings? Does this even make any sense?

This seems like a deceptive scheme, and it's likely that only individuals lacking in critical judgment would fall for it. The promotion appears to emphasize the potential gains while conveniently overlooking the associated risks. In reality, such offers are typically skewed against your favor. You, as the participant, bear the primary risk, and even if successful, you might only receive a fraction of the winnings, not cool.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 10, 2023, 09:59:45 AM
My takeaway after watching a recap of the Lakers vs Nets matchup was that Ben Simmons looked really good. He was even attacking the basket. A completely different player from last year. We’ll see how his season goes… Anthony Davis also looked great on both ends. LeBron is still LeBron and Austin Reeves is going to be getting a lot of shots this year…

No doubt, Austin Reeves was a massive surprise! If he hadn't been discovered, he might have remained the Lakers' hidden gem. What's fantastic about the Lakers right now is their arsenal of offensive weapons. Reeves has already proven himself in the playoffs and seems to thrive on the big stage. Plus, with his recent contract signing, I'm sure that will motivate him to take his game to new heights. Also, being part of the USA basketball team in the FIBA World Cup is another experience that could skyrocket his confidence. So, I can only expect him to deliver some outstanding performances this season.

The Lakers' roster is looking exciting, but do you think they have what it takes to secure a championship this year?
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of cryptocurrency?? on: October 09, 2023, 09:50:04 PM
for the future of altcoins (because you are discussing altcoins) it will continue if the devs continue to develop the products they offer, day by day altcoins will continue to innovate, and there will be many kinds. Here we are required to continue to be careful because there will definitely be a lot of fraud in the future. This will make the image of cryptocurrency  themselves bad.
The future of altcoins is still promising because many altcoins can develop well. Later there will be competition between these projects to get a good position in the market. Developers are required to be able to complete the master plan for their project and show investors that their project is better than other projects. But investors also need to be careful and always look for more information to find the right project to invest in.
You can expect competition but never think that the majority will get to that point because the number of altcoins is growing but the number of legit/good projects is declining. As you can see, we are flooded already with shitcoins, clone projects, etc...And the only projects that stay in the market and will survive the competition is those projects that have use case only. That is why we can say that the future of crypto isn't really that promising as these worthless projects will ruin the market.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tszyu vs. Mendoza Confirmed for WBO Title Showdown on October 15th on: October 09, 2023, 06:33:19 AM
While Tszyu may not be known as a knockout artist, I have to admit, his style isn't as thrilling to watch as boxers like Tank Davis and Crawford. However, in this matchup, it's pretty clear that he holds the advantage over Mendoza. That's not to say Mendoza lacks capability, though. This is just my personal perspective, and I'm backing up my opinion with a bet. I'm taking a bit of a risk here since Mendoza tends to engage in toe-to-toe battles, but my bet is on Tszyu winning by KO/TKO.

The Warriors went and played a team in prison… Cool idea. Hats off to them for doing it. The best part… They lost.

https://x.com/thedunkcentral/status/1711053895332466872

I had never seen this one coming and I think they are the first to do this, giving hope to those people who once made life-changing mistakes on their lives is great, and giving them some hope that they can still be helpful and recognized as people who contribute positivity to their nation if they wanted to change their lives for good. Obviously, they were just casually playing against those inmates and didn't take their time to chase the score, which made them even greater because that was part of the plan to give inmates some hope and dreams.

That's the human spirit there—they aren't afraid to play even in prison. Maybe that prison's being run well, and the people there are behaving themselves. After all, they're still humans, right? But you never really know what could happen, so this move is pretty risky yet admirable.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 07, 2023, 03:31:33 PM
We don't know yet our future if we can still reach in 50+ ages or not but For me if I have given a chance to get older then for sure I will still gamble for fun. Actually here in my country like what other said there are many old people still gamble not just because they are addict but they will still gamble because they will feel happiness when they are in a world of gambling .

Even at 50+ one can still find gambling to be more interesting to play, but when you begin to reach age 70+ i don't think there's anything fun in gambling as you would have gotten while you're still younger, when we get to certain age limit, we will by ourselves adjust without anyone to tell us what to do, gambling is for fun, but when we are old enough then it will be our joy in seing the younger generations and our grandchildren playing it than we doing it ourselves, that is why we just have to enjoy it all while it last and we are still young in age.
The love of gambling makes someone play even though they are old already and retiring. As long as they still see gambling as their pastime, they will go and play just like in the old days when they were young and strong. Of course, with their age, they still have the chance to win but I don't think they are in after with that because what is in their mind is to enjoy their life while still alive.
If my father is a gambler and is still playing now, I don't stop him either but to let him go with what he wants.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ban from a Casino for Nothing Other Than Winning Too Much Money on: October 07, 2023, 01:45:42 PM
I feel it's more about the casinos that issued this bans... Maybe they don't wanna be a victim of bankruptcy just by a single stake.. anyone can decide what they want for their establishments.
You see, alot of strategies to bypass 'em casino's systematic manipulation has surfed the internet and, anyone would wanna try them on different casinos to see Which one cuts,..that exactly might be the problem at this point.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
- cheating is the reason they will say if asking them.

But the truth is that they don't want to see someone get this winning streak because if they still let this person win, that will drain their income, and banning a gambler could be their last option. To say it was too unfair, yes it is but we can't stop the casino operators from doing that. We could say that these casino operators have no way to give a gambler a chance to win but instead, they love us to keep losing.

700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 07, 2023, 01:06:25 PM
Setting win limits is a very important task among gamblers. Some gamblers continue their gambling activities even after receiving more winnings or bigger wins.
In as much as gambling is concerns we shouldn't place all our focus on gambling, or using all our money on gambling with the hope that it will work for us and perhaps if it eventually fails it becomes a setback for us, but perhaps having a job could also help our mindset in times of gambling were as all the attentions will not be channel only on gambling but for other things too, also with that someone can easily control his method of gambling or perhaps just like you said it will also be good if we should set a target of wining or losing that whenever you losses or wings a certain amount you should call it a day instead of betting beyond that.
That’s how responsible gamblers should be. But unfortunately, when people are already winning, they also increase their winning expectations and continue to gamble all in. Until they realized that their profits are slowly coming back to the casino until they used up everything they have. Setting win limits is actually crucial, as every responsible gambler has its certain goal to achieve, and once it’s already happening, then that’s the time to stop gambling and go home and never get carried away with the urge to gamble more.
I think this effect of winning actually happens to every gambler and it only takes a well principled mind to avoid this effect. I have also encountered this effect before and the most annoying part is that you can even set a target for your withdrawal but that will actually depend on the way the winning actually comes because money and winning actually have a spirit that controls the gambler to want more winning and if you are not careful you will end up losing everything to this effect.
It is a mindset that wants to take control of our minds. And the more we think about winning, the more we lose control of ourselves, and the more lose money. In the end, we are the ones who suffer the consequences. If we are into gambling, we must know our limits and must know when to stop. If we lose today, it means that we are not lucky, and accept the fact that gambling does not come all in winning, sometimes we even lose more because the thing that comes out in our mind is to stop when we win until we lose everything.
