1521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you should never try to time the market bottom on: November 30, 2022, 05:42:51 AM
waiting for more dips so that it lags and the market picks up again is a frustrating experience. it shows greed for doing nothing when the price continues to fall. The prediction will not work 100%, it's just a marker to find out where the limit is.
The current bear market is the best opportunity to start buying and don't keep hoping for the price to continue to fall.
buy now and hold on, if you have spare cash it could be another option to buy back.
I'm going to say it was another great time for buying but unfortunately, I already spend my money at the time when the price of Bitcoin reach $18k. I've never expected another drop that is why I put everything on the first set of price deductions. So for now, I'm just watching the market, counting how many days we are in the correction to look for a pattern. I feel bad about myself and for the others, I could really imagine a similar situation as we have before after the 2016 bull season.
1522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Secret of success in futures trading on: November 29, 2022, 11:26:00 PM
Someone is trying to claim himself as the best trader. Maybe I'm wrong but there is one thing I've noticed here, someone is trying to offer his signal in exchange for money and then make himself a good/best trader that he only knows about it.

I'm not against doing it but due to a rampant scam issue of using signals, this makes me think that it was not good anymore. If I were you OP, better keep your signal and continue what you are doing because there is no other reason of saying you can give true/good signals other than collecting some amounts. If you are making money from trading, then that's good but never trick newbies.
1523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term Crypto winning strategies on: November 29, 2022, 09:58:15 PM
Bitcoin is extremely the best coin that is sensible to hold and forget. Every dip is worth another DCA.

Altcoins are another alternative to earning. Highly risky but they are the jackpot of a bullish market. Pick up several potential altcoins. It is not an easy venture, we have seen countless of these potential altcoins that became worthless. Top coins are easier picks for altcoin investments. There are occasions when we want to invest in brand new and low market cap coins and it involves due diligence. Invest with caution and always limit the size to an amount bearable if they become unsuccessful.
Choosing coins to trade is also a big factor to have positive results in trading. Some traders believe that choosing cheap coins will give them more but unfortunately, it was a big lie and a big opposite outcome.
For me, I choose those coins that have a huge trade volume because this is an indication that there is a heavily active trade happening on that project. Plus, the use of reputable exchanges will help a lot. They should be accompanied together with our strategies in order to work and get what you want.

1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 29, 2022, 12:30:21 PM
Might be possible that Williams is really trying to move away from his contract and be traded or be released so he can play overseas where he can earn a huge amount of money.

That's not what I'm thinking because he will surely face a legal complaint if what you mentioned will be true. If you guys remember, Mikey Williams is currently in a fresh contract extension after not playing for their early games in the last conference. Yes, it's clear that he wants more money that's why he acted like a diva again.

After a series of talks, he now decides to return to the country and join the team at the half conference.

Not officially reported but it's no doubt he was offered a much more salary than average by the TNT.

I think Mikey is not trying to dishonor his fresh contract but maybe being arrogant is already human nature to him because he thinks he's a star. Good thing that Jojo Lastimosa is not that soft and did some actions to slap Mikey in a nice way.

Yeah, Williams understands that and he will not go in that direction, facing legal case will surely hurt his career. He's back but not in the same mindset as he was in his rookie year, He feels that he's now a superstar and no one can touch him but that's not the case, coach Jolas is not that soft he was very vocal with William's attitude.

We might see them working, but it's really another adjustment for TNT. If Williams will continue to play like this, TNT will have no other option, either to trade him or let the new contract to end then part ways with him.

The problem was already created, the coaching staff will not forget what he did and they'll label him a "disrespectful player" although he is a superstar. Well, no doubt that Williams is good, but with bad chemistry he won't be effective as a star player and later he'll be traded or be out of contract.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 29, 2022, 11:52:35 AM
I prefer pre-match betting in the NBA because it's hard for me to predict results in quarters. I tried to determine any regularity by quarters, but in the end I realized that it was too difficult for me. )

Same here, I don't prefer betting per quarter as I'm not so focus in watching the game, for some bettors they love betting in quarters because that gives fast result of their bet, or maybe they are following the game that they think they can find an advantage.

I love pregame betting and live game betting as I find it easy and a bit successful on it.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: November 26, 2022, 12:12:46 PM
This kind of gambling is always fun because these animals fights in the circle of human, have you been involved in this kind of animal gambling or have you watched such game before. Can such game be in the casino?
That is not suppose to be fun but yeah we don't have same perspective so I wouldn't get in the way for that. I use to see these kind of fights even in my younger days and it's still can be seen these days and fairly legal but right now only in the weekends. I think I can't watch other animals that fight to death other than these cocks that was traditional in my area.
The government supports this legal cock fighting in our country and I see that the government is also benefiting from this. It was a widespread gamble, offline and online are also available which means that bettors or gamblers are consistently growing as well. Might in the other country this is not acceptable but for us, in our country - I think this could never be stopped anymore. In fact, many rich people are already involve and putting huge amount of money in this, it considered as their business.
1527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk says the price of BTC will rise on: November 26, 2022, 10:06:48 AM
We can't argue with that and most of us can tell also that BTC will rise again and Elon Musk is just repeating it OP.
It doesn't matter who says it because what is important is that we see people are not losing their hopes but are still optimistic about the future of Bitcoin. Might it takes so long before it comes, yet it was not a problem at all, especially for long-term holders. After 2-3 years of waiting, I know investors can still do it without hesitation. It is really just a matter of patience.
1528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest reason why you dont make profit first on: November 26, 2022, 09:40:22 AM
Well, talking about the Biggest reason OP- you can't assume that you can learn everything in trading for one day. It is a fact that traders never get successful easily but it takes time. That is why people are saying OP that starts trading with small capital for they believe that this amount will just lose upon learning. The big mistake that most traders do is that they keep in their mindset that making a profit in trading is easy and they believe. This is why it makes them a surprise when doing actual trading and makes their money lose it all.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 26, 2022, 06:32:56 AM
We also have to consider the quality of opponents Casimero has face in the past as compare to Akaho.

Akaho has failed in this two world championship attempts, while Casimero has been tearing the bantamweight leading to the failed fight against Paul Butler. And John Riel is the younger of the two, the road warrior but obviously the experience goes to Akaho as he has been professional boxers for 17 years as to Casimero's 15. But again as I have said, the key difference is the opponents that they have fought and so I think this is the big advantage for John Riel Casimero to win impressively.

That's the only advantage I see on Akaho, but overall, maybe 80% advantages goes to Casimero. I hope he is still the same, the hunger to win should still be there so he will beat Akaho impressively, the best way to win is via KO and that should be his goal in this fight.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 26, 2022, 05:47:42 AM
Ok just having some fun with the earliest game that we have right now, Hornets vs Timberwolves. Hornets playing at home but they are down 10 points.

So I put up a live bet on the Hornets, at 9.5 odds is 2.05.

Let's see how the Hornets will respond on this game, they have the full 3rd and 4th quarter to impressed their fans here.

Congrats mate, Hornets were able to win the game, I think you should be more ambitious and took the moneyline instead. Anyway, that's a win and it's something to be happy with. Rockets and Hornets were the heavy underdog who won the game today, it should b a nice parlay bet.
1531  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: November 25, 2022, 10:20:54 PM
Stocks give like 20-30% returns in an year but bitcoin and other crypto coins can give this much return in just one day. At such, do you think that increasing popularity of bitcoin has reduced interest of people in stocks.

Perhaps, earning huge amounts is a big factor why some investors are spending more funds on crypto than on stocks. But it doesn't mean that they are totally leaving stock, they are just multiplying their investment. But for those who can't afford to take high risks like investing in crypto, stocks will be their fall.
For me, it never reduces interest in the community, in fact, not all are also interested in crypto the same thing as stocks. People will go to what they feel is comfortable and safe.
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you believe in Litecoin? on: November 25, 2022, 09:46:18 PM
I do still use Litecoin to exchange for faster confirmation and less fee for every transaction on every exchange. Sometimes the fee of exchanges are too high with Bitcoin, so I use Litecoin for the alternative and have pretty good result for low-fee transaction stuff. Litecoin was pretty good when the faucet still exist with so many faucet giving actually decent amount of litoshi every claims, but other than aforementioned stuff above I rarely used it.
And you confirm the usefulness of Litecoin over other platforms. It was the fee concern and Litecoin gives you the best offer.
Was true that many users still keep using this coin, yet the demand is just low still I know that investors and traders will still notice this project someday.
That is strong proof of why Litecoin will never fade. In fact, we have noticed that the price is moving high meaning, the demand is quite growing as well. And it simply means that people still consider Litecoin a valuable asset in the crypto market.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 25, 2022, 12:09:27 PM
Looks like NLEX will have a chance of breaking their losing streak tonight, the game against the Ginebra now goes to OT and NLEX are leading by 3 points with 3 minutes left in the game, if they will handle the ball well and make some effective plays, they might upset the heavy favorite here.

I'm not watching the game now but it looks like they already won the game.

Based on the play-by-play record, the score is 120-117 in favor of the NLEX.
https://pba.ph/playbyplay

Brownlee had 39 points but Clark had a great game as well with 37 points, and Trollano contributed 26 points from the local.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 25, 2022, 11:27:59 AM
There are good games tonight, but the odds of the games are not clear for now.
My bet list but I'm going to pick a few of them tonight.

Boston Celtics vs Sacramento Kings
Indiana Pacers vs Brooklyn Nets
Houston Rockets vs Atlanta Hawks
Milwaukee Bucks vs Cleveland Cavaliers
Los Angeles Clippers vs Denver Nuggets

I hope you'll hit a winner on your picks.

Well, my personal picks are the Bucks, Denver, and the Hawks.
These are all favorites but I like their consistency so far so I would not hesitate risking my BTC on this team, of course with the spread.
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin survive the apocalyse? on: November 24, 2022, 12:54:37 PM
Okay, just to keep saying; Nobody exists forever...
Like, Bitcoin will soon die for some reason and that is the thing that we never know. If we talk war, inflation, government regulations, etc... I'd just stop thinking about it because these are not enough to stop Bitcoin. Because the only thing that will stop Bitcoin is when no one will ever use it, buy or trade. Something like people abandoned Bitcoin totally,  but for now that we see adopters, users, investors, and traders growing which is really impossible.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 24, 2022, 12:22:01 PM
It is very certain that the market is going to be come back bigger and better than this one even though things look like this as if every hope is gone. This same thing happened in 2017 when everyone thought the crypto market had crashed forever until everything chances and started moving back. I hope to see the same movement this time because the market  will never be down forever. Many newbies may have been complaining of there crypto portfolio reducing value but this is only for the main time. The time is counting for a positive time for the market to take a bold step to the moon.
Perhaps, the drop is expected to happen. People who have been here for many years quite know already about this but sometimes we still neglect to anticipate the situation and are still affected by FUDs and panic selling. Yet, it was just a matter of time before seeing the market rallying back high again. Yes, people must adhere to the nature of the market and adopt this. Otherwise, we are just like those people/investors last 2017 who lose opportunities to buy low as they just buy when the market started to grow.
1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 24, 2022, 07:57:05 AM
No games tomorrow due to Thanksgiving in the US, but we do get an ESPN doubleheader today to help ease the pain. First up the Boston Celtics bs the Dallas Mavericks and then later we get to see the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors match up. I like the Celtics and the Warriors today, but am looking forward to seeing both games. Good luck to the bettors out there!

Didn’t put a bet down but I should have as the Celtics and Warriors m came through with wins on ESPN tonight. Day off tomorrow for the NBA but we’ll be able to enjoy games on the next big holiday, Christmas. Enjoy Thanksgiving if you’re in the US and if you aren’t, sorry for the lack of basketball for a day. Smiley

That's okay, they should also have a day off and enjoy that day with their family. I'm not from US but I'm okay with that, besides, they'll only have one day off and the action will resume the following day.

Update, Utah Jazz from number 1 in the West is now ranked at number 4. I think they should start winning games.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 24, 2022, 07:20:37 AM
Well here is something to rescue, and it is that Manny Pacquiao is a very good boxer and this fight is clearly an exhibition fight, obviously it is fixed, I am not one of those who like to watch exhibition fights, but Pacquiao will be there, and that changes everything , when there are exhibition fights I don't even see them, it would be practically the first time that I go to see a fight like that, because I always like the real thing, when there is rivalry and they fight for a title or for the defense of a title, that is what moves us all and that good bets can be made, that is another thing that I like about boxing.

Also boxers who are in exhibition fights should feel calm ´because they will see it as something that will be beneficial for another person, I think this is what I like the most.

Exhibition fights are obviously for entertainment purposes + getting some money without compromising or affecting someones statistics since its not official. It would really be that obvious that there would be no

betting lines or odds for this one considering that results or outcome would really be that too obvious on whose gonna win. Some do say about being beneficial for DK since
he had an opponent which is really that popular which it would really boost up his popularity too.

Lets just enjoy on what would really be they tend to show about. Tongue

Or probably there are fans that are not going to bet on this one, and to be honest I haven't put a bet on exhibitions fight even if there are odds. As you have said, the purpose is to just entertain us so no need to put money on line as we might get nervous watching the fight, Lol.

But I have nothing against those fans who love to put some bet here, watching and then enjoying it at the same time.

Obviously though if there is a line that is open already, Manny is the outstanding favorite here.

Personally, I would not bet on this game as it's very obvious who will win, so I'm thinking what if Manny will intentionally lose this fight in his favor, so that would mean goodbye to our money. I would be alright watching this fight with some beers on the table.
1539  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree that an employer should hire employees who are smarter than him? on: November 23, 2022, 09:46:04 PM
I was listening to a YouTube video by a famous business man and he was saying that he prefers to hire employees who are smarter than him. Do you agree with this style of working? What are the possible intentions behind doing this? Isn't their fear that these smart employees can steal ideas from office or get client details and then start their own companies? What is your view regarding this?
It could be an advantage in our business as we don't need to spend more time in training but never let it runs that way, we should also have to level up our knowledge in regards to business because what will happen if they will run away and mismanage the fund of the company? As a business owner, it is not all about hiring smarter employees but also hiring people who are loyal and who could spend their time doing good for the company, and who are willing to help for the success.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 23, 2022, 02:38:17 PM
That's right apart from this the exhibition fight is for charity purposes.
I am a Pacman fan and I miss seeing him box again, for me seeing Pacman back in the ring is entertainment in itself.
After Pacman retires, Pacman fans will surely miss seeing him in the ring and in action again.
And I think for DK this fight will definitely boost his popularity on social media.
And what's more, this is a very rare opportunity for DK to fight one of the Pacman boxing legends.
I'm interested and can't wait to see how Pacman and DK will provide entertainment during this match.
I've missed him getting into the ring as well and that's why seeing him go back to his major craft in his early days is a good thing. After the presidential election, a lot have said that he should focus on his current post as a government official but then he just can't resist doing other things that he's done before and one of them is boxing. For DK, it's an advantage to him that he's able to have time and even box with Manny Pacquiao on this charity match.

Not just an advantage but it is an honor too to fight the one and only 8-Division World Champion and the legendary Manny Pacquiao, not all famous fighters and boxers can have the chance to box with a legendary boxer in the ring. Which also made me curious about DK Yoo, out of all famous fighters or boxers in South Korea, why him? Is he really that famous to attract audience apart from Manny Pacquiao himself?
Promoters of the fight know for sure what they are doing, we might not know the reason but they won't make this fight happen if they will not make a lot of money. I have to admit that I don't know his opponent until this fight was announce, so I just hope it will not disappoint the fans as it's the first exhibition fight of Pacman after retirement.
