What is happening with the Phoenix Suns? they already lose 5 straight... This team is not legit, they'll never win a championship because of their inconsistency. Rockets are enjoying beating CP3, that's coming from his old team.  Smiley

Also, another great performer was the Utah Jazz as Markkanen's return sparked a big win.
1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in this case? on: December 13, 2022, 09:53:31 PM
A well known crypto newbie contact me about two crypto project he his currently holding, Mina Protocol and Fuel, the problem is Alameda and FTX are big investors of these two projects, he is asking if he should sell his bag and replace with other altcoin?

Is this a good reason to sell off your coins and replace with another that Alameda and FTX aren't involved? Pls drop your idea .

What will you do in this case?
Just tell him the higher risk if he will keep that particular project knowing the issue of FTX. Diversification is needed for him to secure his money before it gets compromised and loses it. We need to anticipate the possible thing to happen as this exchange has already been compromised. Better suggest him OP put his money into reliable projects that can give him sure profit like Bitcoin or any of the top 10 coins in the CMC rather than investing in not known altcoins.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 13, 2022, 03:50:49 AM
I'm curious who you guys would list as your top 5 players in the world right now? I think you've obviously have to include
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, and Kevin Durant.  But after these three, I feel like it's pretty hard to round out the top 5.  I feel like Lebron is still in this category, although of course getting pretty close to longer being there.  But who else would you guys choose to round out your top 5?
These are my top 5 in no particular order.
- Giannis
- Durant
- Tatum
- Jokic
- Curry

I picked Tatum over Luka because of how his performance impacts his team not only this season but all throughout his whole career. The remaining has already an all-star for a long time and all 4 of them are a future hall of famer.

Your question is a bit general, and I must think of a specific time frame for it. I mean is it "all-time" or "this season only" or in the last 5 years etc. My choices are the best in the world for the past 5 years and I think they are the ones who has the most impact on their team.

I will have the following.

-Giannis
-Davis
-Zion
-Curry
-Lebron

I have Lebron and Davis who are in one team because they are playing great basketball, can't deny that Lebron is a hall of famer and he is still the king of basketball. Comes playoffs time, Lebron will be in beast mode and that will give their team a good chance of winning.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 13, 2022, 03:14:53 AM
But this one is a different fight. This was all for fun and for charity. We can understand Manny if he's not that relaxed. This is his first exhibition match I think.
Well, if you will research the meaning of "exhibition match" it is all about to entertain the audience and promote the sports (boxing).

Now, for a fighter like Manny a knockdown, or KO/TKO in a match is well entertaining match than to use up all the remaining rounds, it might be a short fight since it was stopped after KO/TKO. But again it is well-entertained and its the true essence of boxing (win from KO or TKO). For those boxing fans in the stadium, streaming online watching the match, it's an expectation for a fighter like Manny. I won't buy if there's no knockdown or KO in a match while this legend is there in the ring, unless he's matched to a pro boxer with his caliber.

It's definitely scripted, Manny could hurt DK Yoo if he would do so, but since it's just for the purpose of entertainment, the main thing that has to be assured is the safety of both boxers, and in this case, it's Yoo's safety because he does not have an experience of becoming a pro boxer.

What if Manny will fight Jake Paul? I think that would be fun to watch, I would still go for Manny winning by KO.
1485  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 10, 2022, 12:21:07 PM
Now you have $100,000 in your account, pure savings, and you don't need this amount of money to cover your daily expenses. Obviously it's good/free money to use at will. Let's say if you deposit the money into a bank and the annual interst rate is 3%, you will get a steady interest income year by year. If you use this money to buy Bitcoin, let's say the BTC drops to $17,000, you'll buy less than 6 Bitcoins. In the long run, what would you do with this money ? And why ?
People are encouraged to invest or run a business to grow their money but if you are afraid of risk and totally no-how from doing it, it was the best option to keep it in the bank and earn a few bucks. Actually, the majority of us don't have any idea who is benefiting from depositing our money in the banks. We can say at least we earn 3% but guess what, banks are benefiting more than us depositors. They use our money to grow their business.
But anyways, we can't urge ourselves to do business if we have no knowledge, courage, and time. We preferred to become an employee rather than being an employer.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should be my fear? on: December 10, 2022, 11:38:12 AM

For us who have witnessed collapse, and experienced intense bear seasons can say that what is happening now is a regular thing. But for OP, a newbie would be hard to bear despite hearing a lot about crashes, and history shows bitcoin will recover once the bear season is over. The best way for him to overcome those things is for him to experience it first-hand, no advice is as effective as a real experience. So I will agree with you, advise OP to invest with money he can lose.
He can listen to our advice anyway but it's up to OP if he will follow or not. But putting a position as a newbie, fear can really be what we feel and it was normal. Having an experience could change a lot and could also influence the way we think in the future and the way we respond to the market. We have to conquer our fear as this would be a reason for our failure, take the risk and have some experience. We may lose money from trying but it somehow also gives us some idea of how to interact with the volatility of the market.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 10, 2022, 02:37:00 AM
I'm talking Atlanta Hawks live at 4.52 moneyline.

4th quarter now and the game is still very intense. I'm not expecting much but i'm hoping that we will see an upset here so I would be able to get my bankroll capital today. hehe.. good luck guys, hope your bets would also win.

Good luck on that, the game is very close so it could go either way. Hawks have good playoffs experience, so this type of close game is not new to them. Young will be the key here, if he will continue to produce good output, they might win this game. Young had 29 points already.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 10, 2022, 02:17:14 AM
Manny was the legendary player of boxing world with all types of matches. But DK also the good player with some good strategy towards the game.DK was master of various martial arts and it also includes of boxing. So his game was unique with different techniques. His fight against the legendary fighter Manny had a huge audience to the game of boxing.

I'm not sure though if you have followed DK career, this is boxing not martial arts exhibitions, so in any case he will be at a disadvantage here because this is Manny's bread and butter to speak off.

Unique as in what? they will just stand in front of the ring and throw bombs, you can't used your legs here.

And obviously this is just an exhibition match so fans are going to buy this fight because of Manny Pacquiao.

Even though DK Yoo isn't a natural boxer, Manny Pacquiao stated that he will never underestimate his opponent.  That is a good thing and the best thing to show respect to his opponent.  I believe we can see a serious Manny Pacquiao throwing heavy bombs on DK Yoo.  I think this fight is also a fight where he will assess if he is still good to come back in boxing fighting professional boxers again.  Hopefully, Manny will just let the younger generation to compete in the professional boxing fights, he has already established his legacy and had proven a legend by getting 8 division title belts.  He is already one of a kind and considered the G O A T of boxing in terms of division achievement.

That's great, he is still a humble fighter despite fighting an opponent that is not a professional boxer. That's what I like with Manny, he does not trash-talk and even have respect on his opponent in the ring, just like the Margarito fight, he always look at the ref and hoping that the fight will be stop for the good of Margarito.
1489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Day Trading on: December 09, 2022, 09:54:13 PM
Since you are here since 2021,you will have enough trading knowledge. Trading can be learn with the good knowledge into the trading. As the experience traders know, trading knowledge will be learn by practice of trading in day to day. Some people learn the trading from the you tube channel. But only few YouTube channel are trusted one. Because they won't place the high game against the video fron you tube.
There are many ways to learn trading and understand how to do analysis, it can be done visually or by reading. I think watching Youtube channel will be easier to learn something about trading than reading, so it's worth a try. In addition, practice if needed to hone their skills. So with have a little capital, it will be good to start.
That is what I did, online trading information is easier to copy and apply in actual trading. There are a lot of Youtube tutorials available online and very easy to follow but honestly, it was a different situation when you are in actual trade. This will tell us that experience is really a good teacher because what we got from reading books and watching videos are just ideas that we can use but overall, I see decision-making had make it different as you need to decide in every situation.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 09, 2022, 09:33:25 PM
There is a lot of talk to be said on this subject, but let's talk from the data that took place on the ground.

Bitcoin has proven to be better than fiat money, gold and other assets and it has also proven to be better than all other crypto assets and investments.

- Regarding money and financial assets: it proved its failure through the events that took place during the Corona epidemic and the current crisis due to the Russian-Ukrainian war, while on the other hand, we see that Bitcoin maintained its value and high position despite all the major events that it was exposed to.
In general, Bitcoins give more benefits than fiat and gold. And this is one reason why many people got interested in Bitcoin. The Covid-19 crisis proves to us that Bitcoin can survive despite the difficult times and global market crisis.
Quote
- As for crypto assets and investments: We have seen through recent events, especially the FTX disaster, and before it Luna, how all these projects failed and people lost confidence in all these cryptocurrencies and centralized platforms, except for Bitcoin, which proved to be the only safe asset (as long as it remains in the wallets that we have the private keys to).
Despite the big issue some of cryptocurrencies and exchanges, people still give their trust in Bitcoin because they know that it was different from others and never disappoints them. Though it was not the safest asset, at least we know that Bitcoin can be trusted.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 09, 2022, 02:53:51 AM

Dragons Vs. Elastopainters. Coach Yeng is a very talented coach and had many titles on his back already, but on this one, they will bow down to the Dragons. Phoenix Vs. Magnolia will be a better match-up because Phoenix also played well this conference though they went to a losing streak after having a 5-game winning streak and TBH, they might have a chance to beat the Hotshots in Game 1.

It's a must-win by the ROS, so might as well try to back them because the spread is too high. Coach Yeng will have his pride at stake here, he cannot just say that the Bay Area Dragons are so good and they cannot do anything to be competitive as that will only be a lame excuse.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 09, 2022, 02:03:00 AM

Feel sorry for the Spurs though losing 11 straight games and winning only 3 of their last 20 games. I wonder what Coach Pop is feeling with his team right now.

This is probably his worst season in the NBA, I think this would already call for retirement, or maybe he wants to have at least one shot before making a decision to retire. The Spurs are now in the tank stage, just like the Lakers before, but since they are not a big market, I don't think they'll be able to sign a Lebron liked player.
1493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Approaching $17000 on: December 08, 2022, 09:41:59 PM
The movement towards the end of the end is marked as strengthening even though it hasn't increased significantly, but the $17k support area might last before reaching $20k, I really hope that the year-end closing price strengthens above $20k but the market potential has not improved and is very vulnerable to being affected by FUD news. We will see the market reaction at the end of the first quarter in 2023.
If the market never shows strong resistance and market demand, it becomes impossible for Bitcoin to reach $20k. For now, we turning green already but still no big changes in its price as we are still in the $17,000 to $17,300 range. FUDs is really a huge influence on the mind of the people and I just hope that the FTX issue will be the last big scam that happen this year so at least the market can also relax.

I hope what I have seen in the market chart today (pump) will continue and so at least we can just reach $20k before the year ended.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: December 08, 2022, 08:59:48 PM
For sure bnb would hit $300 and even bypass it. Remember this is CZ we are talking about here, not some random lesser known crypto project. CZ has this stranglehold on crypto which he aint letting soon
CZ has too much influence in the market and yes many trust this guy so much because of a good system with Binance and I also believe that BNB can even go higher than this price. Binance continues to expand their business, and their recent acquisition from Japan can make a huge impact. 2023 will be a better year for sure, Bitcoin will start the trend and top altcoins like BNB will surely follow.
That is one reason why many people know about BNB and give their trust in this project. Of course, we can't deny also the potential of this coin and we believe that with continuous development it will soar high. However, facing the current situation is also a huge factor in not reaching it far as we are targetting next year but if we disregard the time frame, $300 is certainly possible as they can be also bullish soon once the market is done with this bear season.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 08, 2022, 01:11:59 PM
Surprising endings today.
The Warriors almost won a game against the Jazz using their 2nd unit.
The Celtics blew out the Suns so hard early in the 3rd quarter with 40+ points lead in the Suns' homecourt. Ouch!
Clippers losing against the Magic, Paolo Banchero was dazzling with the big help of Bol Bol and the Wagner brothers.
Nets and Pelicans didn't cover the -10 spread, the Bucks did.

0/3 early bet. 1/2 live bets. Took the Celtics -5.5 before it went bad for the Suns.
Congratulations to the winners.

Really surprising with the Clippers they all played aside from Wall but it was the core of Clippers that I'm thinking to dominate but the young Magic
show up and snatch the win in OT.

On the Jazz vs Warriors game, I was in the impression that Jazz might lose the game after that flagrant 2 that being charged to JC Warriors leading
by two points less than a minute tough defense by the Jazz.

A comeback snatch against the defending champ, something that coach Kerr needs to talk inside the locker room.

Jazz are not giving up, that kind of win proves that they are good in clutch time, they don't have Clarkson anymore and yet they were still able to make some good plays to win the game. they don't panic in short, they are focus on their goal to win and for them, it's a big win that is something to celebrate.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Mercito Gesta (January) on: December 08, 2022, 12:30:46 PM
I love the decision of Ryan Garcia, it's a great tune-up fight as we all know how dangerous Filipino fighters are. I hope there will be no upset, otherwise, we will not be seeing a Garcia vs Tank Davis fight. Anyways, good luck to both guys, I'm sure we will witness a very entertaining fight.

I love to see Ryan wins so Tank can knock him out but Gesta is a sentimental favorite he has a great career in the US, and he has been to a lot he has fought for the World title twice already and he loses both via unanimous decision he's been fighting professionally for 19 years already so he is a veteran and can give Ryan Garcia problem.
Ryan can beat Gesta but I'm sure Gesta will give him a tough fight, there's a possibility of an upset because Ryan's chin is questionable he will be tested here because he is up to against a fighter who is a veteran of many tough fights.

That's what I'm expecting, though we will think that it's just a tune up fight for Ryan Garcia, but he should not underestimate this fight as he is a Filipino boxer, not an easy opponent. Still Ryan Garcia has the advantage in all factors, so I'm expecting him to be the heavy favorites in the betting sites, I'm thinking of betting against him and hope for an upset.
1497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Volume really matter ? on: December 07, 2022, 10:47:03 PM
It is for OP to understand that Trading Volume signifies something big which could influence your trading output.
 - huge volume means there is an active trading event and the chances for you to earn more in a short period of time as it was easy to fill our buy/sell orders
 - low volume means only a few traders have used that coin and the chances for you to wait longer to fill your buy/sell orders, earning is slow

As we can see, it matters on time and that is a significant factor also that could affect our trading.

1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Month of Accepting Bitcoin for Payment on: December 07, 2022, 10:01:24 PM
Congratulations for accepting bitcoin in your business and figuring out how to deal with it's volatility.

I will want to know who bears the transaction fee. You or the customer.
Also how do you convert btc to USDT with Trust wallet.

I decided to use a trust wallet because I just felt that since I was not holding the bitcoin for investment purposes, I should just use trust wallet to receive my payment.

I was about to ask the same question, who bear the transaction fees and how do ops intend to handle the exchange of the Bitcoin received to fait money to use in purchasing materials for future production?
It is a good thing that ops is accepting Bitcoin in his furniture store but it will be more better if ops can use an exchange for direct payment and easy exchange of the money to avoid paying double transactions in sending the funds from a trust wallet to an exchange.
That is we never know but if I'm in that situation, the customer will bear the fee. Of course, they must be aware of it and it was their option to continue using their Bitcoin or just keep using fiat money. There will be a clear agreement between the owner and the buyer, and if they agree then there is no problem.
Anyways, I think the fee isn't big enough and probably it was deducted from the price of the furniture. Maybe the price is a little bit different when using crypto compared to using fiat money.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 07, 2022, 03:34:39 AM
~
My prediction here are as follows.

Ginebra will beat NO (2-0)
Bay Area will eliminate ROS in 1 game
SMB will beat converge (2-1)
Magnolia will beat Phoenix (2-1)
My prediction is almost the same as this one. The only differences that I think will happen are:
Ginebra will defeat NorthPort 2-1
Magnolia will beat Phoenix 2-0.
This might be a surprise (and a bit of a bias since I'm an SMB fan) but we might see them winning against Converge 2-0.
Bay Area will finish this one in one game easily.

We will know the result today on some of the games, we have 2 games today.

Ginebra vs Northport
Converge vs SMB

I was checking the betting odds in my sportsbook but there's no available line yet, anyone here already put their bets on the games later?
I'm curious what would be the spread of the two games.

You can check on stake.com, they already have the betting odds available if you want to bet early. As expected, Ginebra and SMB are heavy favorites against their respective opponents. We've seen Romeo in their previous game, so I'm expecting him to play more minutes as converge is a tough team this conference, it's a best of 3 so game 1 is very important.

1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 07, 2022, 03:09:27 AM
Tuesday night on TNT has a lot of superstar power on tonight's doubleheader.  First you have the Lakers and Cavaliers.  Always a good matchup when LeBron takes on Cleveland.  The Lakers have been playing great lately too so that game might be surprising.  The Cavs are favored to win by 5.5.
An 8-point lead going to halftime by the Cavaliers.

As I look at the stat sheet, I was surprised with 2 things. One is it seems like this night is Jarrett Allen's night as he scored 22 points in the first half and their main scorer Mitchell scored 14 points only. The second one is, after that monstrous 55 points against the Wizards, Davis only scored only 1 point in the first half. Take note, 1 point and their highest scorer is Lebron, and some bench player named Thomas Bryant with 11 points each. Well, he is probable coming into the game, and he only played 8 minutes in the first half so that might be the reason. I'll go with Cavaliers on this one.
As of the Anthony Davis 1 point in first half, that's because he just forced himself to play tonight but actually, he is having flu.
He went out early in the 1st quarter and won't be back the whole game. Sorry for the Lakers fan and those who bet for them.
The good part is if he will be able to play tomorrow against Toronto Raptors.
That's their 4th road game of 6. AD would be better to just rest it out, I know they need the W's but it would be worst if he keeps on forcing it.
Cleveland is on their way to closing this game with a double-digit win.

1 more game later for the TNT doubleheader. Funny Shaq at halftime. Grin

Without Davis in most of the game Lakers still remained competitive, but now we saw how important Davis is, without him then I guess Lakers will start tanking again. Davis injury was not so serious though, so hopefully he will be back in a couple of games so their effort will not be wasted.
