1581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin really crashing on: November 09, 2022, 10:38:17 PM
What’s up people have y’all checked the market, our mini pump is over and we are seeing yet another #Cryptocrash,
so let’s hear your predictions what’s going to be the flow of #cryptocurrencies are we ever going to be #BULLISH or are we going to be #Bearish throughout this year.
Crypto crash, bear market - or whatever it is? It is just a normal scenario, in fact, we even have that worse experience a long time ago but guess what, the market was still able to recover because many are trusting Bitcoin and staying than those who leave and spread FUDs. As we are in the bear market, we expect more of a downfall and instead of worrying about the future, better make open our eyes and see the opportunity. Soon this will be over, the bull market will come next to this. And those who keep their faith in Bitcoin will be rewarded and those who rejected will regret it.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 09, 2022, 11:55:24 AM

Another game that I'm looking is the Hawks vs the Jazz.

Might do some in game bets though, I wanted to see who is out and not going to play in this game from either team.

This is a good game for sure, Hawks are at home, a slight favorite but we know the Jazz, they had a good road record. I think I'll take the moneyline here since I really love the way they are playing, and look at the standing now, they are already the number 1 in the West, the team that is expected to tank are at the top.

But Hawks had an impressive home record, they might not be perfect but they have a 4-1 record, and -3.5 is not hard to cover from a team who beat the an undefeated Bucks. Remember that Hawks beat the Bucks by 19 points and IMO, Bucks are the better team than the Jazz.
1583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 09, 2022, 11:34:14 AM
I don't think Bivol can decline the fight if Canelo activates it because he signed the contract containing that a rematch will happen if the losing side chooses to, but the situation now is different and if you saw the post-fight press conference, it was said that Canelo can't throw a punch currently because of the injury he sustained for about 2 months. So, we might see a unification first before Canelo-Bivol fight.

Well, Bivol vs Canelo should be a good fight, no need for Bivol to fight another champion in his division yet if he can make a lot of money fighting Canelo. His style in the ring is very entertaining, just like Canelo he starts slow but ends the fight well.

The fight between Zurdo, his opponent only won 2 rounds, I think that was only rounds 2 and 3, the rest was dominated by Bivol.
1584  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 08, 2022, 11:36:52 PM
It is based on your passion. If you are confident talking and selling products that give you a commission, that suits you, really. You can really earn a lot of money from doing this, and many people are living this job, perhaps, it becomes their permanent job.
But if this is not your line, salary base job is the best option. Yes, indeed give you monthly or weekly income, or daily pay but the opportunity to earn more is unlikely possible unless we do a part-time job. Or, take them both - some people are gifted enough...

But as for me, I'm not good at speech or marketing - so I preferred to salary base job (skills).

1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 08, 2022, 10:23:03 PM
"Is the bear market over? Hard to say, but a lot of the bad news was priced in. With a maximum drawdown of -28%, SPX discounted 85% of a typical 33% market decline and 78% of a recession bear market. I still like the 1946 counterpart-"
No the bear market is not over; what we have now are simple retrace and bear traps. Be sure not to get carried away by the dip and ignore the bad news too. Check your portfolio, and buy the hidden gems you have researched; the right time to accumulate them is now.
How we can measure or what is your basis for the bear market end?
As I remember before when we were already up around 50% from the cycle's all-time low.
Because the time between bear market recovery -> bull run -> new all-time high is very short compared to the time during bear market, it's very long.
Indeed. Our basis to say that the bear season is over when the bull season comes, is actually when we see the price is likely 50% and above its bottom price. But to speculate when it is going to happen is somewhat hard to say. We usually found some indication - the green chart appears.

Moreover, I see that the bear season will stay for long just like before. We notice that after halving prices will move high leading to a bull market and it possibly is the same scenario to see in this round.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 08, 2022, 11:58:34 AM
Let's say he got lucky to climb the top 5, the champions here are really tough to beat and I doubt Casimero can match those 2 champions holding the super bantamweight titles.

I hope Casimero can be considered by Inoue once the latter moved up weight. Inoue is expected not to go directly facing those champions once he moved up but for that fight against Casimero should happen, the Quadro Alas of PH should at least make it to the top rankings to be considered.
IMO those 2 champions at super bantamweight division is more easier than Inoue, if Casimero will fight against Inoue, there's no hope Casimero can win. At least Casimero need to beat either 2-3 boxers at this weight before taking a challenge to fight one of those champions, I think Murodjon Akhmadalievb is easier than Stephen Fulton to beat. It seems there's no way for Casimero to escape against Inoue, we might see they will fight each other sooner or later.

That's too much underestimating on Casimero, no hope? Are you kidding me? I believe Inoue is the better fighter but I believe that Casimero still has a chance of winning the fight. Though his chance is going to be slim, but if we are looking for a chance, there should be a chance.
1587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 08, 2022, 11:37:15 AM
If he's better coming from the bench then I think he should remain that way.
That might work but it will not work forever because good teams will just beat them on their starters. Westbrook is one of the highest paid NBA players, he should not be on the 2nd unit only, he needs to be a starter but he also needs to improve. Bring the old Westbrook who average triple double, or maybe a double is enough.

Of course it won't because time will come, the others teams in the league will find a way how to stop him to be this effective from the bench and just like what you've said, he should be on the starting line-up and not on the 2nd unit. Anyway, maybe coach Ham have a plan for Westbrook and this is just a first phase towards his return, hopefully.

The strategy was not effective because Jazz destroyed them by beating them with a huge margin. That's not the Lakers I know before, or if they had really made the right adjustment, they should be competitive, but this game showed they still lack big time.
1588  Economy / Economics / Re: Competition in business on: November 07, 2022, 11:49:52 PM
In my opinion with the competition it will have a good impact, the products or services produced will be more attractive, quality, better service and of course cheap prices, most people are afraid So we must learn good business rules and that we can get by often attending training or seminars.
When competence increases, the beneficiaries were the consumers. The consumers get big list and the quality will be kept high to stay on the lead. Keeping the consumers stable without moving to some other store is the real capability of a businessman. This art is the competence in business than just improving the service and the products offered.
It gives the consumers a lot of options where they are comfortable with their services and product as the price won't really just matter but their services as well. I support fair and healthy business competition and see this as a reason for them to be more responsible with their action knowing that the consumers are there to give critics of what they did.

That is why if I am in business, I love to hear feedback from the customers as it places an important role in how we can improve our services and products.
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 05, 2022, 02:01:54 PM
I will certainly be choosing sports betting as I was exposed more to it than others. And not only that, I was choosing this because my chances of winning it were a little bit high than the lottery and card games. If fact, winning a bet in sports is not just a matter of luck but we have the chance to bet on the team base on their performance, not by a wild guess like the lottery. However, not all sports I have to bet on, I was just particular about basketball.
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning Coins new Marketing Ploy on: November 05, 2022, 01:21:19 PM

Is Burning the ultimate solution to get prices going up for our coins out there? And why is this mostly done by a certain niche of coins like xxxxx finance, xxxx inu etc

It was been a practice by some developers but never I see this as even more effective to say whether their project is worth investing in or not.
Some had thought it was a good way to increase the price due to lowering the number of its total market cap. But in the case of shitcoins, I'm not sure if this could help and make the price grow.

I would say that investing in projects with such a history is too risky. Because for me burning is not the solution but a good market strategy and the potentiality of the project is seem to consider when choosing coins to invest in.
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 05, 2022, 12:23:29 PM
Nike is into business, they will always make sure that their promoter will be a good model, as of now, Irving does not fit to be a good model so canceling his contract by Nike is just good for him. He has an attitude problem, he is a superstar but unfortunately not a good role model.
He had been doing these things for a lot of times, I don't why it is just now that Nike did this. It should've been before.
Disrespecting your coach (Steve Nash) at that time was not a work of a good role model too. It becomes a plague, not just in NBA but also on leagues with young people playing basketball. NCAA, or small leagues. Those innocents that thinks what he did is the right thing if you don't like your coach, you can talk bad to them and even make them go away.
And so, it happened.
Good for Irving, well deserved, now, I believe he is already realizing that because of his bad action, he already lost a huge amount of money.  I don't understand him, we cannot deny that he is really a great basketball player but he will never be a hall Famer if he does things that are disrespectful because everyone deserves respect.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 05, 2022, 12:07:50 PM
A good challenge to him now, preparing for his upcoming fight, a new division which would be the first step in his new journey.

The first step and his possible first win, well, there should be no problem with him in this fight, it's on the division that he is comfortable, there is no more weight issues for sure and we will again see Casimero winning via KO. There's a reason why he is the heavy favorite here, that's because people still believe that he still is a champion.
1593  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: November 05, 2022, 09:36:11 AM

I don't know, but mostly what I saw were teens and 20- to 25-year-olds who were lazy and just complaining about everything without doing anything. I think it's because they don't have motivation in life, but most adults are responsible and work hard to reach their goals and earn money, but mostly those adults that go broke are because of their vices and unwanted spending. They mostly go beyond their income, which is why most people go broke and have a lot of debt.
One reason why many were at their young ages is too lazy to find a job and make money is because they don't responsibility to push them to work hard. And it has become habitual for people to start finding a way when they have no option.

 - financial illiterate
 - no guidance from their parents
 - environmental influence
 - prioritize

These things are the most issues why many people are still broke. They don't have any idea where to start, their mind were just focusing on today but not thinking about the future. As they will survive today and tomorrow, that is still okay for them - a mindset problem. Which I see it needs to change and start building up at the very young age if possible.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for November on: November 05, 2022, 09:16:14 AM
As we are close to December, I'd expect a few pumps in the market prices which include ETH and the top coins. Perhaps, the entire market chart is looking good now, it sounds like the bottom is out of our sight now but not really confident if this will be the beginning of the recovery or was just another short recovery that we normally experience during this bear season.

However, I don't make myself bothered too much and check the market every day. As I was holding long-term, I simply ignored the detailed changes in the market because I'd just wait for the bull season to come.
1595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 04, 2022, 03:30:56 PM
LA Lakers escaped from another loss, good thing they have Ryan who forced an OT and the Lakers then too over in the OT. 2 wins in a row, now bad, but hopefully they'll be more consistent and dominant so we will not feel nervous while watching the game.

Westbrook now is playing limited minutes but he had some good contribution, I think that's good for the team.

It's good to see the team going to a better level. They started really badly this year, but it's good that they've won in the last 2 games. I think if they manage to win a few more games, the confidence of the team will increase.
They manage to win but I think it was a lucky win, they need to prove that they really have fix their problems and that is by winning with a decent margin and controlling the game. The first win was pretty convincing, the 2nd one is just luck.

Next is the Utah Jazz game, it won't be easy for them to win this game. But if they can win, it would be great for the Lakers Smiley

This would not be easy by the Lakers, Jazz is doing very well this season, their teamwork is very impressive, so I'm thinking they'll bounce back after a lose to the mavericks.
1596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 04, 2022, 03:03:52 PM
Dragons vs Bolts
Northport vs Rain or Shine

These are the games tomorrow, the first game is quite exciting because if McDaniels will, things are going to be hard for the Dragons despite the fact that they have been dominating the teams they beat in their past games. By the way, the betting spread are below.

Dragons -10.5
ROS -3.5

You got 0-2.

Meralco beat the Dragons by 3 points, wow... their import is really legit because he lead the team by scoring 31 points and spoil Nicholson's 50 points performance. I'm wondering what's the ML odds for Meralco.

Also, ROS win but did not cover.  Sad

We are not wrong with your expectation, KJ McDaniels is the answer for the Meralco's struggle, beating the Dragons is not an easy job but they were able to do it. Now, I can say that Meralco can be a championship contender team, this conference has become more unpredictable because of many teams that have good imports.

If we look at the https://pba.ph/standings, it's very close, so it's hard to predict.
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important message to every crypto investors on: November 04, 2022, 02:40:15 PM
Countless number of times, I've advice close pals of mine to be careful about the so call influencers hype of a thing, Everyone is just after their own pockets, that's why you see most of those coins or Crypto Tokens died as fast as possible, as soon as the hype is gone, the token is died, the project disappear, we just have to be careful, learn the tricks and stay on board, investigate, and research to know what's Worth and what's not, even if you're throwing away a Penny, you still got to value it.
This is the reality of trusting influencers as they don't care about their followers emptying their pockets but rather securing their own.
That is somewhat disappointing but guess what, even how many times we heard this and people read/hear it, whether to agree with me or not, many people are still doing this. I don't believe in learning from experience because these many people still don't learn anything from the past but they believe in the 2nd chance.
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why i believe in bitcoin!! An amateur's outlook. on: November 04, 2022, 01:13:50 PM
Well, we all have reasons why we are here and why we believe in Bitcoin. But there is one thing in common and that is because we see Bitcoin as a profitable investment more than any cryptocurrencies in the market. Honestly, interest has been built up upon seeing on the news, social media ads, and of course, coming from the forum. I know doubts are what we feel at the start but it has changed as time passes by.

I would say good to you who see it as an opportunity but I have to say that never consider this as a forever asset.
1599  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 03, 2022, 10:39:46 PM
I believe that the future of crypto currency is strong and big, I am a long term investment myself but...
Forget and ignore what other people say and stick to your point of view. Other people are not responsible for the gains and losses you experience on your investments, so don't take whatever other people say as a guide before you do your own analysis.

Here are some reasons why you shouldn't trust what other people say:

Quote
  • There are many posts on this forum saying the crypto bear market is over, some are already saying that a pump is coming.
  • The truth is they don't know what's coming, bear market can last longer than they think, it will get to the point where many will give up or about to give up before things start changing.
  • Some holders will get bored and tired.
  • Some will even start believing that crypto is dead.

If you like long term investing, then hold to your stance for anything you can afford to lose. You don't have to force yourself to remain a holder if something happens when you're absolutely sure it's the price you deserve.
This is really the case. Indeed, holding is a good option if we are confident that the coin we invest will pump in the future. Why bother ourselves with FUDs and negativity around if we trust our investment? It is literally most people have been influenced by these negative news and FUDs that only creates panic selling and big sell-off. We know the bear season still dominating the market, so if we let out emotions controlled us, surely nothing happen on us but losses.
1600  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to guide a 10year old on the blockchain journey? on: November 03, 2022, 10:10:38 PM
Is there any proper way a kid can learn how to build on the blockchain? I have a very smart kid who knows way too much about computer software and hardware, I believe that exposing him to blockchain technology is better since it's the future with the way things are going right now, where do you think I should start.
Exposing him is good enough at his age but teaching him is not already the perfect time to do it.
Of course, learning blockchain at that very young age is great but for a 10-year-old, I'm not sure if he already has an interest in doing it. But what you did to him (exposing) might develop such thing (interest) which later on could lead to curiosity and will start asking you. Perhaps, it was an indication but yes, we can't expect too much from his age to seriously invest his time in this stuff, however, it was at least he already have some introduction about blockchain trechnology.
