That's an excellent approach.  What are the most common objectives you hear?

They are a captive audience and don't want to be "sold" anything.

Useless they're clueless, you're selling them repeat business. I suggest informing them that because of their fine establishment, you thought it best to approach them first with the near zero risk proposal, also informing them in almost the same breath that if they respectfully decline the offer, you're prepare to go to their direct competition with the exact same offer.

Damn, I like this guy! I think I've read every issue of ALL IN. I know as a fact that every issue I did read, I did so cover-to-cover, albeit not in order. I loved that poker magazine!

Phinnaeus Gage! That is awesome, man. I just registered yesterday on here, but I have been following your posts as I was researching bitcoin. Glad to know you read ALL IN. It is coming back under the new owners by the way as poker is looking to get legalized state-by-state.

Excellent news! To assure a poker player that a high percentage of fish are represented at the table, one may consider moving to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia or South Carolina, solely based on national education rankings. All the five, my choice would be Texas, rank fifth SC is ranked first, being the worse).

Then again, you don't want too many fish at a table due to the schooling (no pun intended) effect.

6865  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Value Predictions For The Next 14 days on: August 31, 2013, 09:36:16 PM
Is there any way to predict BTC value for the next 14 Days. I'm not very good at math and I'm trying to come up with a prediction for the next 2 weeks. I can say that I am going to be opening up a few books to get a clue on what I need to survive as a crypto investor, starting with a mathbook any suggestions on what books I should read.

Assuming you are not a troll, I would suggest starting with Malkiel's A Random Walk Down Wall Street to understand the difficulty with any prediction of this type.

Another excellent math book! Any other suggestions? I'm beginning to see a pattern here.

I suggest reading this math book first:

6870  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any Legit ways to make money online? on: August 31, 2013, 04:15:25 PM
Buy 100 ebooks on how to make $1,000 a month online, NO WORK AUTOPILOT super easy et cetera and follow them.

By the end of the year, you'll be a millionaire.

Once a millionaire, take the time to teach others how you did it by selling an ebook...

They probably want to get their money out of gox and have no choice in the matter? Buy BTC and transfer out?

Once out, they will then deposit into BitStamp. taking advantage of arbitrage. Some people just don't know how the Stock Market works.  Roll Eyes

i think actor tom truong is member of the bilderberg group.  Grin

Any member that calls out other member of being a member of the Bilderberg Group, is a member of the Bilderberg Group. Then again, members of the Bilderberg Group are well aware of the unwritten rule paraphrased as follows: All members of the Bilderberg Group must call out other members of the Bilderberg Group in an open forum, regardless if they are a known member or not, thus creating confusion as to whom the real members are.

I've posted a message in the Spanish subforum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=282270.0

Thanks a bunch!  I was afraid I would have to learn the Spanish language and fly to Mexico. Hopefully someone notices.

Excellent translation devices do exist.

Ponzi Dice with a 100%+ payout with a forced downline matrix comes to mine.

EDIT: This just gave me a brainfart!

Hi Rassah,

I wanted to reach out to you because I saw your site Bitcoin100 and your goal of getting charities to accept Bitcoin.

I run a site called Coinlock (https://www.coinlock.com/)  that basically allows anyone to sell digital content almost effortlessly, with strong assurances of privacy and anonymity.

I was thinking that it would be a great way to sell premium content for charity causes. So for example if an artist wanted to sell art that directly benefit a charity cause they could use the charities bitcoin receiving address when they uploaded the content. I also may modify the site so that a portion of a particular sale could go to multiple receiving parties.

Do you think this could be useful? Please check it out, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks,

Matt

Apologies, for I couldn't get my head wrapped around the concept. This is not a dis toward the project or its owner. If anything, its a dis at myself for not being able to get my head...

Is that really the profile of Josh from BFL? If it is, have yourself a good laugh and look at his trust ratings. The head of the "top of the line bitcoin mining hardware" company is selling video games via BitMit LOL.

Yes he is. I see nothing nefarious there. I do see that he removed his dis toward me. Thanks, Josh.

Raspberry.
