701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 07, 2023, 06:19:52 AM
The only issue is his shooting, but given the importance of defense, I think he's been a tremendous help for our success.

Yeah, that was pretty obvious, but we have to cut him some slack. I heard he was coming back from an injury, so maybe he was just getting back into his groove. But let's give credit where it's due – he was seriously impressive at the free-throw line. I can't even remember him missing a free throw in the finals.

Even during the game against China, if they hadn't substituted Fajardo with Kouame, China might have exploited Fajardo's slower defense. Kouame's presence made it tough for China to penetrate the paint, as our defense was ready to challenge them. Instead, they often had to resort to outside shots, which put them under a lot of pressure, especially with our quick guards closing out on them. That led to lower shooting percentages for them.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you the spot/Future Trader Then this is the best tool for you. on: October 07, 2023, 05:24:19 AM
Hi everyone i am sharing the best upcoming project for the Traders where you can do spot trading , future trading with 125x leverage the name is 0xfutures.trade isn't it amazing.
No other project offers this much leverage and there is not restrictions for leverage also traders can do spot trading with limit orders.
and best part is everything will be automatically confused? They have a telegram bot where you have to provide the parameters for spot trading and future trading else their bot take care for your trading and i am sure easily maximize my profits. I am a full time traders and looking for this tool now I finally found one what's your opinion?
Website link are below: https://0xfutures.trade/

What will be the reason why traders would have to trust the site? Because I will tell you that people never just only look for the possible earning and offering high leverage but they/we are looking for a platform that can be fully trusted. Many get fooled by such offerings, now it is an old tactic that most traders already know and are aware of what will happen next. If you and the site will lower the leverage amount, maybe that will gain attention and confidence but with that 125x, that could be the reason why they will stay away.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Even Seasoned Analysts Can Get it Wrong on: October 06, 2023, 10:55:56 PM
...

So this is a great reminder to us investors to not just believe anything that a person, no matter how popular or knowledgeable they are, stated without doing any researches to verify their statement.  After all it was out money that is on line.
That is why we make decisions based on what we understand about the market situation, not these influencers or being called market experts because they still never know what gonna happen next. What they did is just pure speculation and none has been right, can be close but not really get the exact price. Indeed, performing research is advisable and we can do the same (speculate). The more we got into analyzing the market personally, the more we understood about the volatility of the market.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading purely based on luck. on: October 06, 2023, 10:13:09 PM
I tried to trade without any analysis, relying only on luck, I was flipping a coin for each trade I entered.
During a three day period, I initiated three trades per day, each with a small profit target and a stop-loss order. Surprisingly, these results outperformed the trades I made based on speculation and trend analysis.
it is important to note that the long term outcome remains uncertain.
I considered this experiment a success mainly due to the fact that I was trading on a demo account with no emotional involvement, and the trades automatically closed when they reached their stop loss levels, and I did not make impulsive decisions to alter the stop loss orders.
In real trading scenarios, emotional factors, such as adjusting stop-loss levels and increasing leverage, often lead to losses.
What you did will simply tell us that having into a trade without any market analysis will end up getting lucky or not, and the chances in very slim. Considering the volatile nature of the market, you can't simply put your trade on the way, or else, you're making this for a loss.
That experiment will show something that every trader has different outcomes even though they are using the same strategy and this is because we all have different market approaches, understanding, and emotions.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 06, 2023, 02:58:25 PM
It looks like the Philadelphia 76ers have finally caved to Harden’s pressure and will be shipping him to the Clippers. The Clippers are said to be doing everything in their power to make it happen. After all the offseason drama it seems like Harden is going to end up getting what he wants, while Dame didn’t get the trade he wanted, but might get himself a ring.

The latest rumor I've seen is that the Clippers offered the 76ers an unprotected first-round pick and a swap pick. But the 76ers want more and seem to be interested in Terance Mann. So, I think if the Clippers offer Mann and at least one first-round draft pick, the 76ers will probably take it and send Harden to LA. It's time for this drama to end.
I get it that they want as many key players available since PG and Kahwi are often injured but adding Harden would make the team out of balance. I cannot imagine these four guys all healthy and playing on the court at the same time. This doesn't look good on the Clipper side unless they can replace Mann but they probably know better so let's wait

Let them figure out what they will do later. Right now, they need to focus on improving their lineup. Obviously, with James Harden also being a superstar, this should result in an improvement in the team's performance. If they continue to struggle after acquiring James Harden, I believe the problem runs deeper, and it might be time for the Clippers to consider a coaching change.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a 20% Annual Return good ? on: October 06, 2023, 12:12:18 PM
With my experience in the cryptocurrency market, I decided to develop a short-term Bitcoin spot trading strategy using the TradingView platform and its strategy programming tool. I managed to create a strategy that yields an average annual return of 20% according to backtesting. My question is, is this return acceptable, or in your opinion, what would be an acceptable or good return?
Well, for me, that was big enough. If that strategy assures such a return, you can really be making rich in trading, and that is absolutely what people are looking for. But the question is if that will happen in real life. It might be working in your backtesting but was not sure it would work in real trade and you probably know why, it is because of emotional dealing and decision-making. These are some factors that cause a different result, until then, at least earning a 10% return is already satisfying.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up, buddy. That poster looks pretty slick, right? Brownlee looks all calm, while RHJ's wearing his heart on his sleeve. You know, we always prefer a cool and collected Brownlee; he's a beast that way.

Some folks are saying it was a lucky comeback, but honestly, who cares? What really matters is that we came out on top and showed the world our basketball brand still kicks it. I'm stoked to catch the game. And no worries about the streams; our Facebook vloggers are already gearing up for this massive event in our basketball fan lives
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: October 05, 2023, 10:05:36 PM
the risk is very big and the profit you can get can also be a lot if the project is successful, but of course at this time I don't really recommend you to investing in new projects, because market conditions are very bad, so instead of investing in new projects, it's better for you to invest in projects that are already popular (BTC, ETH, BNB and XRP), because it's safer and will definitely give you a profit when the bull run comes.
Honestly, there is no wrong about investing in new projects as long as it has a use case but yes, the risk is too high compared to those old projects that have already been established well. In fact, we're giving some room for these new projects but I'm suggesting spending just a small amount and never holding it for long because many new projects are just good in their early days but they change and start to decline after a while. In the end, a better choice seems to be a working idea especially if we plan for long-term investment.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardwork pays not luck! on: October 05, 2023, 09:43:32 PM
I am a person who never won any lottery but when dedicated to working on something, I get an ample amount of money. In 2018 when I started working as a Bounty hunter(as the secondary job of course), After two three years I came to know how much money I had earned which I would not have earned doing an office job for 10 years. Here the game turned. Seeing so much money in my hand, suddenly I saw everywhere when traders were earning thousands of dollars doing cryptocurrency trading. It was like the grass is always green on the other side. As mentioned earlier, due to overconfidence and not following risk management, lost some portion of the money that I earned through bounties. Now I have realized that I must work hard and that too with dedication, then only I can have a good earning status. Just to iterate, working as a bounty hunter or trading in cryptocurrency was never my primary source. Still, I am working in a tech company and getting monthly salaries.
I have no question that many bounty hunters got a lot of money in the previous years as I experienced as well (that was 5-6 years ago). But now, I'm not sure still be like that knowing that most of the bounties these days turn to scams and receiving shitcoins as rewards. Joining them could be an earning opportunity but if you think that they are reliable enough, I doubt it.
Well, good job you didn't quit your job because some did it as they are now full-time in crypto trading and some succeeded while the others are in regrets.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: October 05, 2023, 01:47:39 PM
Time flies so fast that this Casimero vs Oguni would be happening next week but have not seen odds yet for this fight, hopefully they would cover this early.

There's no betting odds yet on sportsbooks, however, I've seen a website that could give us an idea about the possible betting odds of the fight.

https://champinon.info/schedule/casimero-vs-oguni/#iw-modal

Latest Odds
FavoriteCasimero to win: 1/2
UnderdogOguni to win: 2/1

As we can see, Casimero is a slight favorite with 1.50 odds if converted on decimal, I think it's already worth taking.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 05, 2023, 01:07:17 PM

They had an impressive win, coming back from a 20-point deficit is hard, but Gilas made it and won by a single point. Brownlee is still the key to Gilas' success tomorrow evening. Jordan, although very confident as they are undefeated, should be a bit worried since China was ranked top 1, yet Gilas defeated them.

With the Philippines at 3.30 odds, that's a good deal already, like getting more than a 50% discount. Betting $100 would win you $230, a good deal indeed.
Not trying to become negative but it’s better to bet on handicap instead of ML just to make sure since the performance yesterday is not happening in regular basis. Brownlee shooting skills is not typically like that so we need that kind of luck in able to beat Jordan which has taller and stronger player naturally due to their genes.

I really hope that PH manage to win tomorrow but that 3.3 odds speak to itself on how PH players has disadvantage in terms of stats. We need more of Brownlee accurate shots to win this game, double than what he shows on China. Betting +10.5 to PH is a safe bet with still good odds imho.

Brownlee makes things possible; when he's hot, his shooting is very accurate. Maybe Jordan will put more pressure on him, but mate, don't forget that this is a championship match. Personally, I wouldn't bother looking at the handicap anymore; I'd just like to bet on the Philippines to win. So, I would go for the Moneyline as well.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Is academic pursues enough to get incomes? on: October 04, 2023, 09:59:29 PM
An academic pursuit sure increases ones ability to earn and broadens their thinking scope to explore other options beyond ones boundaries.
You know academic pursuit could even be on the subject of expansion of ones knowledge on BTC and the cryptocurrencies market or based on cyber security for all things relating to decentralized wallets or systems for those who need to be secure from hackers.
It is way better to pursue academy qualifications in an area where one is more passionate about than in other areas because people are doing so or as directed by anyone who's someone to us.
Perhaps, if we are seeking a better job, this was a way to get a higher position and salary. Sometimes I would say that without a better education background, companies will never let you in and work with them. In fact, even in our country, they consider this academic performance as a metric to get a spot with them. It is something that urges us to go to school and enroll in known universities to gain a huge opportunity to have a job after graduation.
Well, we can say now that education is a huge asset which makes those people who can't afford to send their kids to school become hopeless and choose to live the life that they have now.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 04, 2023, 03:00:23 PM
Yes, I think the Warriors can adjust without Draymond in the early part of the next season, they have recently acquired Dario Saric. So this is a big test for him to somewhat be in the position that Draymond used.

As for Kuminga, him and Andrew Wiggins should take part of the PF to SF position. Either can have a night wherein they are going to be the biggest contributor in Warriors offense. And Kuminga is very athletic indeed that's why the Warriors chooses to still be in team as he can improved a lot and not just like Poole who complains a lot and seems the be the fame gets into his head last season.

Draymond Green improves ball movement on the court, so not having him early in the season might not give them a good start as expected. The good news is that they have CP3, who is known for his playmaking; he can certainly fill the loss of Draymond. With new players who have helped improve their interior defense, I think the Warriors will be okay.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: October 04, 2023, 01:57:55 PM
So I kind of agree with the odds although I was also expecting something like 1.22 for Kingry earlier.

Most likely, the odds will be like that, probably not higher than 1.30.

Ryan Garcia is trying to redeem himself after a devastating loss to Tank. With a decent opponent, I'm sure he will be tested to see if he is really back in boxing. He isn't undefeated anymore, but his one loss could be the best learning experience for him. Who knows, he might have a rematch with Tank Davis in the future. For now, he has to focus on coming back strong.
715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: October 03, 2023, 11:30:54 AM
Halving events have frequently been associated with increase in price of bitcoin with significant upward momentum both before and after halving. Bitcoin halving often generate increased market attention and hype. Expectation of lower supply and likely price increase may fuel positive feelings amongst investors and traders.
Well I can boldly tell you that no one actually knows the correct answer to that question and answers you will get are speculation on stats gather from previous halving event which if you ask can be close to the desired answer. The halving period comes with so many drama and so many investor are currently waiting for the halving to come and go and to see if there is actually going to be a significant rise to the price.
If you already experienced the previous halving, you will know that there is a sudden change in its price trend and it is incredibly increasing. There is no drama to see other than people are expecting bullish after halving.
Investors are holding and are excited for the next halving because they believe that they could see Bullrun and ATH. Experienced investors and traders already know and have that kind of insight because that is what happened in the past, and this will happen again and again.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good fundamentals don't ensure a great investment. on: September 30, 2023, 09:24:00 PM
There are tons of projects out there for every coin or token to take off due to all of the competition for people's money.  Unfortunately some of the good projects fizzle out because they can't reach the right group of investors and eventually the people working on the project slowly drop off.  And vice versa, some terrible projects are marketed correctly and pump in price.  That's crypto.
No matter how promising the project looks but if that never suits the needs of the people or traction to the investors, it certainly just dumps and dies. Indeed, the market competition is very tough and those projects that already gain support will continue to grow while the others go down. This is the reason why I choose old projects rather than making a fortune in new projects knowing that it was hard for them to get attention when the trust of the inevstors had already hooked up by these projects.
717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: September 30, 2023, 03:05:11 PM
I would tell you OP that you can never see good results from TA if you don't believe. It is useless honestly to say that TA is good if you don't understand it clearly.

As you can see, traders are using these tools candlesticks and price charts to analyze the market trend and that is because they believe that this would help them predict what will happen next. Though it was not 100% but at least we have some basis for our trades and the chances to earn is higher than those who have nothing. It is clear to us traders that we need these tools otherwise, it makes no sense when trading if we have no basis as it is just like gambling that are hoping for luck.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and gambling which one has done you more harm on: September 30, 2023, 01:10:57 PM
Too sad to know that many people have chosen to gamble instead of making an investment. And this is probably because we usually think that gambling could make us rich in an instant if we get lucky. Such thinking can be found by most gamblers, especially poor people and it should be corrected knowing the fact that our chances are very slim. I've found also that many people are willing to lose their money in gambling rather than investing as they really don't get the idea that investing makes our lives better while gambling takes our money from us.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 30, 2023, 12:38:41 PM
In my opinion making cash from gambling is not a good option and the statistical probability that you will win every game at every casino is very low. I think winning or losing every game is completely in your head, so your individual tricks are not there. However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.
It depends on the type of gambling we play because as far as I know, not all gambling games only rely on luck, for example the poker card game where you have to play by prioritizing strategy to be able to keep up with your opponent and if you succeed in using a better strategy than your opponent then the chance of winning is there. on your part when you are in the game, but it is different if we are in a game like slots or similar which are controlled by machines and systems, then it could be said that only luck guarantees our victory.

Though skills are very important in that play still, we need luck in order to win.
In general, when it comes to gambling, luck is something we need and skill is just an additional asset. Indeed, you can take advantage of your opponent and raise your chance to win the game. Just like sports betting, knowledge, and familiarization seem to work well and give us a bigger chance. That is why I preferred to gamble in sports betting as I know, luck isn't the only thing we need.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 30, 2023, 10:21:44 AM
Today I want to take a deep dive into gambling and how negatively it has impacted our society;

Growing up into a man I got used to gambling believing it will change my current financial status, which I was wrong, it was quite the opposite, not that am not seeing money, I was but I was too fix in making it through it.
That is the problem because we assume that gambling gives us a passive income and think we always win neglecting the fact that losses are even more possible. If we are into gambling, we must be aware also that we could lose our money. So instead of thinking about winning, better think about enjoying the moment so it won't hurt us if ever we lose.
Quote
When I finally quit the addiction, I realized that I was doing better than I even thought,

That was a good decision. Yes, we commit mistakes and take this as a reason to decide if we continue or not. Because if we are looking for passive income, gambling is not the answer.
