761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever lost a bet in this way? on: March 04, 2021, 08:58:36 PM
--snip--

Greed really affects it out, unless you are experienced gamblers who knows that when opportunity knocks grabbing it is the first thing to do.

The problem is, nobody knows what's going to happen the next moment and so, it's almost impossible to predict the outcome of the game in which even the best of the best players lose sometimes.

And like what how you explained from your first statement, cashout feature is not there before, good to see that it was introduced and many disipcline gamblers can do enjoy this function, allowing them to take early earnings and use it again with other avaliable games to extent their chances to have more possible profits.

There's one thing I didn't describe here that in some games, even if your bet still has some odds available (like if you are winning your bet and it still has 1.1x or even 1.01x available), the site removes the cashout option which is tricky sometimes so I'd say it's on a game-by-game basis.
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: When BTC Bull run will end? on: March 04, 2021, 08:47:14 PM
Can anyone guess [educated guess please] when the current bitcoin bull run will end? The last bull run ended around 8th January 2018. It would be interesting to know when the bull run game will over.

Lol, do you want us to guess the nearby price from where BTC bull run may end and even start crashing? Or you need a date? Because we are not astrologers here who are able to give you any dates, but yeah, as an analyst, I'd like to let you know that it's not going to end any time soon because when one institution wants to exit this market, there are at least hundred others who are ready to buy their BTC and take this market to the next level. They're not getting in just because they are waiting for the low price to accumulate as they've got enough patience in order to hodl on taking a position. According to our belief, BTC must reach $1 million to be highly recognizable, even higher than it is being known and understood currently.
763  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: March 04, 2021, 08:10:45 PM
The pandemic has definitely had a positive effect on the cryptocurrency ecosystem, I think it will give positive results as long as the pandemic continues. And in this case, people have restricted money spending and are looking for ways to fully protect and increase their money, ultimately turning to cryptocurrencies.

May it had a positive effect, it made many lose their lives. So, please don't "pray" for this shit to continue anymore just because the greed of human beings have risen up to a new level, but we should expect that this pandemic just gets out of this world and should open up wider opportunities for almost everyone out there to earn a buck. And yes, its effect was seen on all the crypto when big names came out calling BTC in their portfolio.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever lost a bet in this way? on: March 04, 2021, 07:49:38 PM
... So, have you ever lost a bet in this way?

Certainly, this happens when you bet for a team with very good odds, kind of thinking of an easy small win and then the underdog scores. The odds shift so dramatically that you do not get a chance to bail-out and there is a too big of a material loss to close the bet.

Exactly, that's how I wanted to elaborate here.
I've made bets in the past on teams which scored around 5 goals while the opponent team just had 2, but after 60 minutes are gone, I don't know what exactly happened but the opponent team scored 3 back to back goals during each 10 minutes session ahead. It was so shocking for me to see myself losing that way.

This is not a very recent feature, it exists on gambling sites since very long time AFAIK. You have to manage that like a crash game or a trade : you must choose a target price/odds before playing and only changing it if you think parameters are really not the same anymore.

When gambling is compared with trading, I guess this "cashout" feature can serve as a relative point between both of them because it allows us to move our money out of the markets just like we do in crash games as you said.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever lost a bet in this way? on: March 04, 2021, 05:16:16 PM
I don't quite understand the point you're trying to make here, if the odds of the game changes during the match and you placed your bets before those changes happen, then you will get the return based on the odds when you placed the bet, and basically your bet would not be affected by that, so why would you be bothered by the change of the odds?, odds just change based on how the teams play or when/if a team scored a goal and game results were changed, unless there are some sportbooks that I don't know about that use a different approach to calculate the wins and odds.

Ok, let me make it a bit easier for you to understand.
We are emphasizing specifically on "Cashout" feature of any gambling website here (and I hope that you're familiar with what it is).

Let's say we have a match today between Real Madrid and Sociedad today.
Odds are 1.89 on Real Madrid's win and 3.45 on Sociedad
Now, you've placed a BTC0.01 bet on Real Madrid's win, so if you win, you will get BTC0.0189
Now, there's 0-0 goals during first half, so nothing changed.
Let's say Real Madrid scored a goal at around 70-75th minute, which makes the scoreboard to 1-0 and now the odds have decreased to 1.10x-1.15x and you're currently getting ~BTC0.017 through the cashout feature, what will you do? Will you rather wait for the next ~20-25 minutes to get the whole winning or just cash it out and leave the game?

What if Sociedad manages to score a goal during the last few minutes? The scoreboard will then be 1-1 and so, the win of Real Madrid will possibly turn into a draw if they don't manage to score another goal here. So, your win turns into a loss here. And even the odds will rise over 5x-9x immediately once Sociedad scores a goal (the 2nd goal that makes the game draw during the last minute), so your cashout value will come next to nothing.
766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: March 03, 2021, 08:59:06 PM
This is where the fun is. While everyone is waiting for a dump, the pump continues. The same thing happened at the start of the bull run. Everyone was waiting for a dump, but it was one, then again everyone continued to wait for a dump, but nothing happened. Notice how all the media sat and silently watched the growth of bitcoin. Everyone who said before that this is a bubble that will soon burst, they all ate their words.

Don't overestimate the power of bulls, mate. I'm not bearish on BTC but it's true that whenever such growth has been established by BTC, it used to retrace on a very big scale in order to keep the balance ongoing (the recent dump from $58k to under $44k outshook the world that what did just happen, but the same way they brought it up with a speedy recovery too). Though, I believe that whether the dump takes place or not, growth will be seen constantly in BTC.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Have you ever lost a bet in this way? on: March 03, 2021, 08:47:24 PM
I used to gamble in a different way till we got introduced with a feature called "Cashout" which wasn't there for few years on crypto gambling sites. Now, whenever you make bets, not some average or tipped ones but high confidence bets, you see that you've already won and the odds that you placed your bet on (which could be higher than, let's say 1.50x) and it has dropped to 1.01x, will you use your "Cashout" feature and leave / lose a few % of profit just because you fear that the game can still change? Or you'll just go with the flow and let the game run, and you'll wait till the end to get complete profit?

Now, my main question,
What if you didn't cashout your potential winnings and then suddenly, the game changes and let's say that you placed a bet on a Soccer match between Team A and B and you believe that Team A will be the winner (based on less odds and past performances), the score is 1-0 and time is 89 minutes. Now, if Team B manages to score one goal at the last minute and set the score to 1-1, won't you regret that you were so close that you must've cashed out your bet, but lost big due to that last minute goal? This happened to me a few times and I bet it may also have happened with many of you. So, have you ever lost a bet in this way?
768  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best and "safest" investable casino out there? on: March 03, 2021, 08:01:19 PM
I don't really believe I've heard of any casinos since long time who are currently taking investments from users IIRC as whenever an investment bankroll funding gets announced, there are thousands of investors dying to invest in it and so it gets filled in moments. I truly think it won't be an easy task for you nowadays to find a reliable source (here: casino) to invest your money because the price of cryptocurrencies spiking too high on a daily basis.
769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Elon Musk's twit caused the Bitcoin bubble burst? on: March 02, 2021, 11:58:02 PM
Has Elon Musk's tweet caused the bitcoin bubble to burst? Will it be the beginning of the bitcoin crash?

He's been jerking off over to the price of BTC when it went up too high because as he mentioned it "later" that Tesla bought $1.5 billion USD worth of BTC, some fools (according to his mentality and as he thought) believed that he bought at a high of $45k. Freak, did they really believe his shit? He must have bought it already during the accumulation phase of around $10k and $19k and have sold it over at $57k-$58k and then started tweeting about the price of BTC being so high, just in case to test it out that his tweet does the job for him or not (which it probably did because this bastard has a wide network of high-end investors whom he can easily influence and move the markets to his desired direction). Now, he's the only one who is in huge profits and is still going to make a move soon once he accumulates back at a specific support area.
770  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 02, 2021, 11:47:34 PM
of course, there are still people that know the importance of dignity and credibility. but there will always be individuals or group that will practice illegal stuffs for the sake of money. it may not be all, but there will always be someone who will corrupt the system one way or another.
if you want to live with clear conscience, it is up to you how you will live your life, whether you are an athlete or the coach.

This doesn't really make any sense unless every single entity in the system becomes clean-hearted and that is almost impossible because the greed of a person can make their hearts go dumb and their minds deaf, so they won't even bear to listen to these things while doing the "bad" thing and hence, this proves that money can buy almost anything.
771  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 02, 2021, 11:26:36 PM
It depends on the country. I don't see how we could generalize and say that it affects all sports around the world. Is it really worse than when Russians and Germans were abusing steroids and pumping their whole teams with them so much that women were developing male features? I don't think so.

Corruption is worse than almost anything in this world. I believe that the hunger of money can make any player sell their conscience and play for the people who bought it just because they've bet something big against the odds and want to win it at any cost. There's probably nothing that could move out the greed of a person than his own will not to commit such a thing.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: February 28, 2021, 05:15:26 PM
Well, isn't freebitco.in a gambling website which has a faucet and allows to charge up the account ?
We can use the free roll and get around 5 satoshis every hour and also use the wheel of fortune to get some extra rewards.
We can then use those free satoshis to gamble. Although it's just a waste of time to acquire such small amount of Satoshis.

Dear, I specifically meant it for websites like Duckdice, Bitsler, etc. where they don't dispense the faucet till our balance is 0. And whether we get any amounts dispensed or not, nowadays, the price of BTC has enormously decreased the amount of Satoshis we can receive on any website for free through faucet, so yeah, I agree with you that it's literally a waste of time nowadays to depend on faucets unless you've got a very big number of referrals under you.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: February 28, 2021, 03:52:39 PM
If we do not want to pay the high fee, we can save it for some weeks or months, so when you want to withdraw, you can do that at once, and I think the payment will still be bigger. And if the site has a faucet, you can get additional free coins which you can use to gamble without using your payment, and I think that will be safe for you to withdraw your earning. We use a faucet to help us enjoy playing gambling and I think that is the win-win solution for people who want to play gambling still.

Are you kidding me, bro? Faucet when you already have some balance on your account? You really believe there is any gambling website or casino which allows you to charge up your balance with faucet when it is above 0?  Cheesy
Never. I've never seen any gambling site doing that and the websites where I used to get paid for my signature, they never had any faucet facility available for their users.
774  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckyfish banning unnecessarily for whatever reason. on: February 28, 2021, 03:38:24 PM
I don't agree. Licenses are a way for the government to make additional money on the side. They are already earning money when the casino pays its taxes, but licenses give them a secondary source of income from license fees. The government doesn't care if the casino is a scam or not and is not going to audit it prior to issuing a license. All that matters is if the books are in order and all fees are paid. They don't even verify location, because online businesses only need a mailing address and this is usually done by renting out a mailbox in an office building.

Correct, and the government doesn't really check how and where the casino is operating from and they don't really care enough about the same. All they expect is the money that needs to be paid on time in order to renew and let their license up and running. I believe that there must be an in-person check in order to check the authenticity of a casino and then only decide whether to give them a license or not.
775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest me what to do now! on: February 28, 2021, 10:29:00 AM
I can only suggest you to:

- Invest some of your portfolio in IDOs after getting whitelisted in them as I've seen many IDO tokens giving more than 10x-50x

- Don't FOMO, if you do, you'll lose only. Just try to wait for the correct entry because we don't need to get the low entry, but rather should get the right entry in order to gain something out of our investment

- Always keep your eyes and ears open about the tokens you've invested in, because if they don't have their circulated supply diluted to the total supply level, you should always be very cautious with it and if they ever announce anything about the same, you must react quickly and just sell it before any major move takes place
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: February 28, 2021, 10:12:29 AM
--snip--
Im skipping out to play recently due to that high fees on where it do covers almost 1/4 of the signature campaign earnings that I do had which I don't see for it to be worth.

$40-60 might not be much for some but these amounts are just enough to my gambling needs plus if I do still have left which are allocated for my savings even on gradual phase.

Im aint a heavy gambler but I could utilize the amounts into various things from gambling to savings or basically converted for my needs.

The problem with me is that, I need every single piece of my earnings because I've worked for it which is why I try to gain some part of the fee through gambling so not to pay them a big part of my earnings. It's not a necessity though to gamble but it's a matter of choice whether you simply want to withdraw your earnings by paying them the fee each week or just stack it up for some weeks and then withdraw them all at once.
777  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria’s vice president, Yemi Osinbajo speech at economic summit on Friday on: February 27, 2021, 10:39:05 PM
The problem here is, it doesn't come out well to someone's personal comments and Governments too don't give a damn on a major person's comments whenever they try to talk crypto and push it to the next big extent. Big trials have been rejected before whenever they were made in order to promote crypto and it's a fact that can't be denied that Governments are tyrants that do their own, hardly listens to others.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: February 27, 2021, 10:22:43 PM
There's nothing wrong in saying that I like gambling on a few sports and whenever I get a chance to serve a gambling website through their signature campaign and get paid on my account, I like to gamble but not much, as the fees for withdrawal are very high nowadays and I only try to gamble around the worth of fees I'll be paying, in order to save myself the remaining at least if I lose it.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History Of Crypto Gambling on: February 27, 2021, 05:02:09 PM
I was a player at Satoshidice and Justdice and IIRC, I got some CLAM coins too for playing there and being a part of their website for a long time. Satoshidice was one of my favorite sites where we just used to send our bets and then we either win if the number comes over/under the given slab, and my favorite part was when I get my winnings straight to my Blockchain wallet. Those days, I miss them a lot because they are no longer going to be back again.  Undecided
