801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: September 13, 2020, 10:56:50 AM

Shall we play a game?

Come one - come all.  First one gets the prize.  I’m not biased or racist anymore since some appear to think they own everything.  Up yours, maggots!!!

Wow, And I m guilty paid the top already:)

And further I remember paid .99  around 1991 . Nearly factor of 10 soon

Self moderation removed? And lots of others with that? Meh

Btc needs hard protection... now it needs patent protection from Twitter boss, or what?

804  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bitcoin legal or not on: September 12, 2020, 11:52:18 AM
I am new to crypto currency and I don't know the Bitcoin is legal or not plse help me
Bitcoin is a digital currency. For this reason no government control it. For this in some country Bitcoin is not legal. But in my opinion near in future Bitcoin will be the currency of every digitalized country.

Not a single government alone, rather. But there are ways esp in finance where governments come together

Here is a chance to get Bitcoin clean and safe, but only fully compliant to what Bitcoin must be, was defined and specified

EU developments:

https://www.euractiv.com/section/economy-jobs/news/leak-eu-to-create-superbody-of-watchdogs-to-oversee-digital-currencies/

Interestingly,

Quote
The rules also impose the prohibition of granting any interests to holders of these digital assets.

This would cause a huge move of btc into US-based interest-generating custodial accounts (such as blockfi and celsius, maybe even Coinbase/Kraken)

Quote
The draft text also obliges the Libra Association and the issuers other significant e-money tokens, to redeem, at any moment and at par value, the monetary value of the e-money tokens if the holders decide, either in cash or by credit transfers. The rules also impose the prohibition of granting any interests to holders of these digital assets.

In this context, it looks sane to me. Tolerably so, at least. You issue tokens, they must be backed by something.

For tether, is the something what exactly?

Lol
806  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: September 12, 2020, 11:46:13 AM

Mich würde trotzdem interessieren, was in dieser Erklärung steht.

https://www.europarl.europa.eu/RegData/etudes/STUD/2020/648779/IPOL_STU(2020)648779_EN.pdf

Roll Eyes

Immer dasselbe. Bad Aussie Man Smiley

@Devs, here's a new step forward to help you, Bitcoin Scripting Language release,
Bitcoin Scripting Language support for Visual Studio Code.

This extension adds language support for the Bitcoin Scripting Language also known as Bitcoin Script or simply, Script. Specifically, this extension adheres to the grammar of post-genesis Bitcoin SV.

The file type for the Bitcoin scripting language is .bs

    Features
    • Syntax highlighting
    • Layout
    • Code excerpts
    • Definitions
    • Debugger
    • Linter

    Quick evaluator + debugger
The Quick Evaluator will run the script and display whether it is TRUE, FALSE or INVALID.

The debugger will show you the resulting stack, the alt-stack and the type of error produced.

    Layout
The trainer automatically places each opcode and data element on a new line. All OP_IF / OP_ELSE branches are indented.

    Definitions
The definitions are based on the definitions.yaml file which was created by scratching the Bitcoin Wiki and later corrections were added from the Bitcoin SV Wiki . To add or update definitions, please do a PR editing the definitions/bitcoinscript.yamlfile.

    Installation
Start VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl + P), paste the following command and press Enter:
    ext install shade.bsl
You can also download the extension from the marketplace .

    Release notes

    0.0.15

Surely if all that Defi crap is falling to pieces the money would go into bitcoin (if investors are crypto literate people).

Why on earth are people selling the king?

We have coins and we have tokens

    https://coinmarketcap.com/coins/
    https://coinmarketcap.com/tokens/

Within tokens we have DeFi tokens

    https://coinmarketcap.com/defi/

Tokens seems to get hit hardest lately, specifically the DeFi tokens.
From the coins category (which includes Bitcoin), the Altcoins were already hit hard these last few years due to the bear market (most are at 85% / 95% Down from ATH).

Maybe the DeFi tokens and other tokens are getting cashed out, to be re-invested in the coins category (and then specifically re-invested into those coins that have very high % Down from ATH).
So maybe there will be a flow from tokens to coins. Triggering an Altcoins season when least expected.

How much is scam ? More than 99%?
