821  Economy / Gambling / Re: Big Win at BetChain Casino on: July 07, 2016, 05:31:18 AM
Hi everyone,

We, here at BetChain, value our players' privacy and would never share any information about them without their permission. Especially the ID which would give you knowledge of their wallet on the Blockchain.
If our lucky players would like to share their screenshots or withdrawal history, it is completely up to them.
Again, we extend a HUGE congrats for this fantastic win.
You are all welcome to enjoy playing with us and please let me know if there is anything I can do to ensure you have a great playing experience.
I hope you will post about your wins, also.
Best,

Brian Mason
Casino Host

Granted that your games are provably fair would you not be able to provide the Bet ID, a transaction ID wouldn't even be useful, the poster himself said he only withdrew 9 coins so far.

I can't see how posting a Bet ID would be a breach of privacy when the user posted about the win himself on this forum and there's no identifying info within that Bet ID, just proof the poster was telling the truth.

One thing I don't like about the new UI is the fact that you can't easily tell if the roll was a win or loss unless you're staring directly at it (the win/loss is WAY too subtle IMO).  On PD3, I could roll continuously and only watch my current wager amount from the left hand side of the screen and out of the corner of my eye, I could immediately tell if the roll was a win or loss simply because it flashed big bright red or green.  I just want the rolls to be more readily apparent that they are wins or losses without having to directly look at the balance itself.  Honestly every single aspect of the wager UI has been a step backward IMO.. changes shouldn't be made unless they are improvements over the existing UI and so far I am not seeing any improvements at all (as far as the wager UI is concerned at least).  The rest of the site looks pretty good.

Not following you here, can't you look at the roll animation/roll bar to instantly tell if you won or lost (If it lands in the red or green region). There are added sounds as well that should indicate a win or loss very easily.

One of the changes we're considering is letting users see more of the bet table, I posted a "lite header" on the other page.
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 out now! The biggest bitcoin game got upgraded! on: July 06, 2016, 07:12:12 AM

BTW, is chat still down for you guys? Not working right now for me.
Same here, i already tried it since 20 mins ago, but nothing happens in chat, its blank.

We're still doing maintenance, should be back soon.
824  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 out now! The biggest bitcoin game got upgraded! on: July 06, 2016, 02:07:07 AM
Honestly not a fan of the new UI =( BUT if it's here to stay, PLEASE at least let us see more than just a few bets at a time while we're betting!  It's ridiculous how much space some features take up compared to PD3.  In PD3, I could see a lot more of my bets at a time WHILE currently betting.  Please revert back to this style.
Zoom out

We've been toying with a "lite header" and perhaps removing padding and moving those buttons under the bet interface. This would make it so users can see more bets, we're trying to think of more creative solutions though as we like the emphasis on the roll bar versus table. Some sort of compromise will likely be met.

Also still working on chat maintenance, will post when back up.

Edit: chat is back up
825  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 out now! The biggest bitcoin game got upgraded! on: July 06, 2016, 01:52:45 AM
We just took the chatserver down for maintenance, all the rest of the site features will work in the meantime. Will post when chat is back up.
826  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice PD3 vs PD4 Showdown! Poll - Which do you prefer? on: July 06, 2016, 12:57:40 AM
It is always the case when well known service or site update their whole layout - people usually get mad, why? Because they are accustomed to he old look.
I have seen people complain about new YouTube layout or new Google functionality just because they were so familiar with the old one.
Just wait, and everyone after some time won't even remember how the old layout looked like.

Every version we've launched we have gotten a similar reaction. Primedice 1 was entirely broken and featureless and users complained when PD2 effectively created dicing as it is  today. The new version is not perfect but it's a step in the right direction and we're closely following user feedback and have in house developers working on some patches to improve the experience.

We do appreciate all the feedback though and I promise we've been looking through and considering all of it.
827  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 Launches TODAY! on: July 05, 2016, 07:35:31 AM
All current issues are related to the fact that the Primedice chat server is experiencing difficulties.

Once that is fixed the extra features we have ready to roll out will be released, we have a few phases of the launch however this small upset has caused a delay on everything, more or less.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Everything is under control as per always however.

Feel free to shoot support a ticket if you do stumble across any major issues.

@Rhaver, thank you very much for pointing out the issue with the seed being wrongly shown. This is definitely something that will be addressed ASAP.

Chat will be offline while we resolve this sockets issue, can't wait to chat with all of you and get your feedback.

Hi Stunna & crew.  Just checked out the new design and it is certainly a step above the old one!  Very efficient and clean.  I like that you focused on the social aspects of the site since that has always been where it shines the most.  Some questions/notes;

Will we be able to turn 2FA on and off client-side now, or is that still a 'support only' option?

With all the teasing you've been doing for the past month, I thought this was going to be the launch of all the other games you'd been talking about.  What's the timeline for those now? weeks, months, or years?

Hotkeys have been generally standardized across all dice sites that have the option -- I'd suggest keeping in line with those.  'C' to multiply, 'X' to divide, etc.

A small bug note -- After clicking on the "Account" tab in the upper right, when you attempt to close it with the "X" button, it needs to be clicked twice.

Paradocks had made a "dark" theme for PD3 that I very much enjoyed.  Any chance of implementing 'themes' server-side?  Otherwise, if anybody else is up to the task of making a new scripted one for me, it'd be appreciated!

Considering the site is 'frozen' for now, I haven't attempted to deposit to try out the new rolling mechanism.  Is it safe to do so yet?

1. Yes, 2FA is available under Account (top right header) > Security

2. We've had 6 games done for some time for a separate website but there's no timeline on that (we are bad with dates as you've seen).

3. We'll consider doing that, I think we kept the same keys as on PD3 but I could be mistaken.

4. That doesn't occur for me but I'll forward that on

5. No plans to add any themes at this second but there are some design and feature improvements that will be patched in relatively soon (week or so) such as private message rooms and improved roll animations

6. Deposits and withdrawals are operational, sockets aren't working which means you have to refresh the page to see new chat messages and all bets generally won't update without a refresh. Placing bets yourself should work fine

Also everyone please keep the feedback coming, it will shape the next few weeks of modifications/tweaks

Edit: there's so many people trying to post on here at once that I had to submit this post 5-6 times since other people "had posted since I had last checked the thread"
830  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 Launches TODAY! on: July 04, 2016, 01:45:01 PM
I really like the slider animation, I think it will people bet alot more the way it moves around makes me more confident when i roll Tongue

Glad you like it, we had some changes to the animation and design made for it which we haven't implemented yet. Should improve that experience though.

Is the chat room broken for anyone else?  I see no chat msgs at all when I click on English chat.
That is a cloud flare issue as Micro already mentioned it will be fixed shortly. Wink

This is the only major issue at the moment, chat will not update without refresh due to sockets. We're hard at work to fix this.

TBH you really need to get your game up a bit with all the extra delays and shit. I'd rather have a casino where they promise to deliver things in 2 hours and actually get it done, than a casino promising to deliver in 10 minutes and get it done 2 hours later.

But I guess that's a part of the joke here. PD4 launches 2019!
they do the same with pd3
took hours and hours and hours before it came online
same story here, just disappointment for everyone

Relax man, will be worth the wait!

P.S sorry to all the people who are waiting and not complaining, you're awesome

Launch process is still underway, we're carrying over your data and waiting for DB to compile. Will post here when pd4 is available.

Giveaway will be credited on new site Smiley

Are the credentials and player stats from PD3 are carried over to PD4?

Hopefully, I don't see why they wouldn't

that didnt happened when it upgraded from PD2.I m not sure what plans r there now.

Yes, should all be carried over this time.
837  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 4 Launches Tomorrow! on: July 02, 2016, 05:45:41 AM
We are eagerly waiting for the new version. I thought the launch was supposed to be on July 1?. I have been login with expectation that it is new version but I find the same PD3

It's still July 1st somewhere right? We're working out an annoying chat bug, more to come.

Edit: The site will be going up and down a handful of times while we prepare.

can you give us ETA like how many hours before we expect the launch of the new primedice? kinda excited on it. hopefully before night time here i can check it out Smiley

We're delaying a day, site is done minus a small bug here and there but our main developer has been awake for 30 hours and we need him online in case something goes wrong post launch. Sorry and thanks for being so patient.

839  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 02, 2016, 12:46:27 AM
What happen? It keeps on loading.

Checking into this, we probably broke it while messing around. We're going to attempt a launch in around four hours not quite yet, doing final testing.
840  Economy / Gambling / Re: I'm 90 percent sure primedice is faking stats on: July 02, 2016, 12:37:22 AM
Interesting enough, they are still the same from when I posted this.

Thanks for pointing this out, for some reason it stopped tracking both bets past 24 hours and wagered past 24 hours

https://dicesites.com/graphs   We actually had a significantly higher volume than that the past few days, so you could accuse us of faking our stats to be less than half as much than they actually are Wink . Primedice is widely known as the most popular bitcoin gaming site, and I'm certain it services more users than any other bitcoin casino.

New site launches in a few hours, will be resolved for that.
