Is the image still large for you? Can you show me a screenshot how it looks in your computer? It looks great on my screen also on 1080p laptop. I want it to be a good size for all members.
It works well. My previous recommendation is for general use of infographics. Over using infographics and with over large size always result in annoying threads. One more thing, when quoting threads with infographics, I tend to snip images/ infographics to save more space. Personally, it think it the best option when quoting threads with infographics. |

Ah, I already known the topic, and this one: Forum chronicle - UP Rank List (BPIP statistics, trust (by Nikisa) My objectives are different than those twos: What I really want to collect are stories of constructive guys, who already ranked-up with their self-made efforts, and great initiatives. Only some of them shared their stories, and I tried collecting their available stories and post them here. In real life, stories will make a difference. Some of them are boring stories, some of them are inspirational ones, like the speech of Steve Jobs at the Stanford university years ago. Even boring stories, readers can find some interesting points/ lessons inside. That totally depends upon the viewpoints of each readers. Inspirational stories usually have magical impacts on human mood, attitude, can change the way they grow up/ rank up in the forum space. Yesterday, ideas come out, then I created the topic immediately to avoid forgetting it. I believe those two topics will help me to finish my objectives. I will spend my time to screen all ranked-up cases to see how many guys shared their stories, and will fullfil the list later days.
I don't really get your opinion. So, what did you call my topic? Has it been a pseudo-constructive one?  Sometimes, people have to pay fees to listen to famous ones. Those shared experience is totally free, simply enjoy it, and grasp specific helpful points for your interests. Being somewhat active but not just because "you have to rank up/get the bounty" is a start.
I find other languages part of the forum more prone to discussion and less to spam so if you can try to post there too.
If you don't see the topic is helpful, meaningful, and inspirational for you. Simply skip it, or even add me into your Ignore list. That's all. From now on, I will turn the topic into a Self-moderated one. All un-constructive threads will be deleted. Don't see the use of this post. I think that from the stories, new comers and lower-ranked users can learn from those promoted guys and their shared stories. Your effort to make the infographic is really appreciated.
Infographics should be used carefully with resize and/ or width option in order to have relevant image inside threads. Over-large images will make threads/ topics really hard to follow. |

The fact is I don't really think that Spambies have enough patience, knowledge, and skills to make quality threads. Why? Most of them joined the forum with their original purposes to earn easily free money. They simply have not cared about knowledge, and experience in the forum, in aspect of constructive sides. Over time, they have been spambies in their mind, and maybe unable to make quality threads in any case. Of course, they probably tried to make pseudo-qualitied threads, which do not make sense at all. Certainly. However, I hear some of them went as far as buying "quality post" in order to get merits, and after that they'll resort back to spamming. It's impossible to stop, but in the long run I believe quality posters will definitely get what they deserve and cheaters won't be able to reach that point (unless they buy an account).

Hello the SplitBird, I have a small suggestion for you. Your infographics is well designed, and better than some of older ones, but it looks too big, and takes lot of space. I known that users can edit the size of it by using the width option, like this: I still think that it might be better if you resize your original infographics a little bit smaller.

If your recommendations implemented, there are a complicated pyramid ranks and rewards/ previledges. Maybe I am wrong at this point. I have almost forgotten about that. During recent days, when I saw the topic of CryptopreneurBrainboss, namely Another win for the merit system. Thank you LoyceV, who got promoted to a Full Member rank. The topic reminds me that I was ranked up weeks ago.  I joined the forum last year, then got stucked at Junior Member when the merit system launched on 24th of January 2018. After a very long journey, less than one year (we have come closer to the one year anniversary of merit system), eventually I was a Full Member since December. At the day merit system launched, I felt something like 'Oh no, I will got stucked at Junior Member or Member for years'. Fortunately, I have made my initiatives with appropriate approaches to improve myself at first, then contributed to the forum. Consequently, months later (months, not days), merits come to me automatically. In a word, everyone can rank up with merit system. It takes time, but it is possible and we all can rank up, except Spambies. Looking at patrol, it is clearly that spamming endemic has still been there, but at least it has been reduced at somewhat extents. In addition, Spambies (most of them) got stucked at their deserved lower-ranks. My topics: 1) Time Series Analysis on Distributed Merits in the forum (daily, weekly, monthly)2) Available courses on Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology from colleges and Universities3) Time Series on monthly statistics of forum (new users, new topics, new posts)4) Inspirational stories from self-made promoted users

It might be better if you can scrap the total unused airdropped sMerits into two parts: This isn't really possible: theymos airdropped 600k sMerit, but it's not published how many each account received, and Merit source amounts are more or less a secret. I don't remember exactly but I read somewhere months ago that thanks disclosed that the rate of sMerits airdropped depends on both ranks and total active time within last one year before the launch of merit system. Lots of users [heroes] complained about they got only 500 merits, then theymos decided to make additional airdropped merits to Heroes who have total active time above specific threshold. |

3) All the initially unspent airdropped sMerit could perhaps be used unwisely in the future. I mean, if after a year, the initial sMerit airdrop remains unspent or barely touched, it doesn’t really seem to be doing any good there, and could potentially be used for foul play at some point.

It's true. However, the newest merit tide has not lead to outliers at all. All intraday merits over the last two weeks have not been in the range of potentially extreme outliers, from 123 to 1163. (1) Potential outliers are days that have intraday total merits beyond 123 or 1163;

sMerit distribution has risen a fair share over the past two weeks. Specifically, the last complete week (Monday to Sunday – 07/01/2019 .. 13/01/2019) shows a total of 5.859 awarded sMerits. That is 37,15% more than the previous week, and we need to go back to April 2018 to see such high figures (with the exception of the September week where the number of Merit Sources were incremented, and the 1 Merit requirement was added for Jr. Members).
It is just an assumption, no one knows but I agreed with the assumption. This is likely due to three facts, although I do not venture which bears the most weight of them (I’d say "b" if I had to, seeing that the previous week rose likely for the same motive (*)):
a) End of xMas holidays.
b) Additional Merit Sources and, specially, Merit Source allowance resizing (that I believe resets the counter so for those resized it meant both a different allowance and a fresh start for the 30 day period to distribute them in) -> 05/01/2019.
c) DT struggles for representation (since earned merits allow for more voting power, perhaps merits were awarded to members to get their vote to count).

I don't know but I guess that the rate for grin is a fixed one, at 0.00675676 BTC via grin, send 2.252253333 grin At the rate, theymos accepted higher rate than real-time price of Grin on exchanges at the moment. No one knows where Grin will go next months. Let's see. Anyway, it is interesting to see that the forum eventually accpeted another payment gater, rather than only in bitcoin. |
