861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 03, 2016, 10:53:20 AM
Monero will recover i have no doubt about it at all

some of you people may want to get some and some hodl them
unless youre conformatble with the volatilitys of  day trading

monero is basically a better bitcoin and transcation privacy will get more important going forward
than it is now so this is a buying opportuinity to get it this cheap
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Bitcoin on: October 02, 2016, 08:45:16 PM
monero is a better version of bitcoin but btc first mover advantage is way to massive to be overcome for the time being .....

at the moment people outside the darknet dont really care about privacy and traceability but i think they will care more in future
so the anon based coins like XMR ,SDC and NAV will certaintly gather some marketshare bigger than  they have now
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 02, 2016, 08:01:17 PM

N-rG (cheibesiech) reminds me a little bit of TC back in the day  Grin

haha this is so true, it's why many are silently watching and probably chuckling at these games.

N-rG posts/activity ratio is way off so it is just an alt account of someone who is regular here anyways. Nearing 50 posts now in last 5 pages and deserves the dump from noobs I suppose. Working extra hard and extra hours round the clock.

you wont buy at 0.0085 though
thats the critical hole in your Master/disasterplan
you and others like you would probably have made more by simply hodling and doing sweet FA

I wouldn't be so sure. Every bear who has posted here relentlessly during different periods of time last 2 years has got the price they wanted.

eventually the market will weed out these people
its akin to people who wanted btc at 50 when it rose to 100  or wanted 200 again when it went 400

i dont think monero price  will half again ,every once in a awhile the train pulls away from the station and leaves some people behind Wink
864  Economy / Speculation / Re: why should anyone invest in btc right now? on: October 02, 2016, 07:35:49 PM
because with use bitcoin very fast growth money
use bitcoin you can trading pair altcoin or trading bitcoin pair fiat money

i agree bitcoin is really growing fast even with lots of hiccups along the road.  I wonder when can bitcoin beat the peak way back 2 years ago, seems lots of people are still at a deficit (those who bought at 1k+ usd)  Still i think it is better to buy btc now coz people are hoarding bitcoin and waiting for the price to increase and dump when it hit more than thousand dollar.

i bought my first bitcoins for $6 and and im still buying mo0re at $600

i will not be dumping at 1000 either ,the next ATH wuill be 3000-5000 imo
865  Economy / Speculation / Re: why should anyone invest in btc right now? on: October 02, 2016, 07:33:17 PM
Honestly, as much as I dislike altcoins, I think right now you're probably better of buying altcoins instead.

Bitcoin just seems crippled right now and is not keeping up with progression.

alt coinsd are highly volatile  so its easy to make or lose a few 100%  in a day etc but bitcoin  is the gold standard of crypto
bitcoins are more of a solid  investment whereas altcoins are more like a pump and dump scheme by
people trying to acquire more bitcoins
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 02, 2016, 07:22:33 PM

The fact is, Monero is now so cheap this price is sustainable even without Darknet markets. Sure Monero was cheaper in a few months ago - but it was more or less the same for 2 years despite the emission is cut significiantly.
I think you are ignoring here the fact that Monero is fundamentally the best and has the merit of being more expensive than today.

No you just dont get that we actually are not that far from each other than you think. I also believed in the future of XMR and still do. But now things changed.

Oasis exit scam (yes i know you disowned this)
AlphaBay looks suspicious cause they dont cash out
No other big market announced to use XMR

These are negative points. When i sum up than the negative feedback of vendors/users at the DNM i easily come to the point that at the moment the price will not reach 70$.
So i cannot tell a newbie "ya keep your coins thats good" when i dont believe so.
You say: Keep it.
I say: sell and buy later more coins for less money.

If you are right and the price is at 70$ somewhen, he has more advance with my tipp, hasnt he?

If someone doesnt care for that all, buy, put into your wallet, live your life and than see what happend 2 years later.

If I would act like bagholders, i would have now lost ~40% of my money. Now i have even more money and can buy hopefully cheap at 0.0085. Easy thing.

you wont buy at 0.0085 though
thats the critical hole in your Master/disasterplan
you and others like you would probably have made more by simply hodling and doing sweet FA
867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit is comming soon, only a matter of time we explode to 1000+ on: October 02, 2016, 03:49:42 PM
The only thing exploding will be those greedy f@ckers faces when Bitcoin fails to reach 1000 after segwit is released.

comeback sometime if you can ever afford a bitcoin ,....but the clock is ticking and time is not on your side
you broke ass degenerate turd  Grin Grin Grin
868  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC = $600USD, now a good time to buy? on: October 02, 2016, 02:48:22 PM
people are hoarding btc en masse but trying to do so quietly at the current price to lock in a lower price
off chain txs are now responsible for more than exchanges ,this will become more apparent or harder to hide in future
due to coin scarcity.......
869  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell my stocks buy bitcoin... on: October 02, 2016, 02:45:09 PM
Don't invest all your money in bitcoin. 30-40% would be good.

on the contrary ,everyones % of investment may be as high as he chooses
wealthy people such as warren buffett and mark cuban have stated "diversification is for idiots "
this is obvuiously an extreme but i have no problem keeping all my cash in btc but i have a better
under standing of it than most people
year on year btc has won me me profits than i could have made buying property ,land ,gold ,stocks ,bonds
or anything else that conventional wisdom says to invest in for "safety"

as long as you dont leave all your bitcoins with a third party ,i would consider it a very safe investment and i think the next
two years will produce record breaking yields for anyone who has the stomach to ride the stormy seas ......Wink
870  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC = $600USD, now a good time to buy? on: October 02, 2016, 02:19:08 PM
the price of $600 is one of those prices like before. for example like the $400 earlier this year. it is stable and no matter what anybody does, it will not go down.

and if it is anything like the past, the price will rise up to $800 very soon after this stable period ended.
We also shouldn't forget recent dump on price after bitfinex got hacked when price was around $700 and now i think price is on the way to go beyond that price range. But there could be many event similar to bitfinex hack in future too, so better not to think price can't go down. Bitcoin price can go anyside anytime however pump over $700 is well predicted and long waited.

700 will be passed in the blink of aN EYE

Hillary Clinton is great.
You never seem to be able to at least show some compassion for Bitcoin, right? It's only hate and negativity coming from you.

SegWit is the kind of update people here have been waiting for, and when activated, it can bring Bitcoin to the next level.

But no, you are still being the ultra bear that you always have been.

And if you really believe more in ETH and XMR, then why are you still in the Bitcoin part of this forum?
I marvel at how you don't have this dirtbag on your ignore list yet. He sold out at 10$ coins and has been wanting to influence noobs out of the opportunity of a lifetime by spreading FUD whenever he can. True world class street rat of the lowest order, that's right I said it.
I fully agree with you, but I don't have anyone on my ingore list as I want to see every post made in this forum.

I have been keeping an eye on him for quite a long time now, and even though he is behaving like a full dirtbag as you also mentioned, he's still buying and selling Bitcoin no matter how much shit he is spreading to make Bitcoin look bad.

And exactly that is what makes him not only a liar, but also the lowest of the lowest.

hes a bottom feeder who spends about 23 hours a day here trying to convince newbs to sell their btc cheap so he can buy them
and rob them of their future gains

CHEF RAMSEY is correct ,he is among the lowest of the low around here...........
872  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit is comming soon, only a matter of time we explode to 1000+ on: October 02, 2016, 02:14:32 PM
Segwit is just a step before price raise, we need something else to pump bitcoin price such as raise the HYPE or spread the words about how useful is segwit for bitcoin future Roll Eyes

kim dotcom is launching new services
etfs are coming
segwit ,sidexchains ,litening ,mimblewible and too many other features to list  are coming

these are the last times you may see 600 bitcoins ,if you dont care dont cry later
ive been in since $6 bitcoins  and im still adding to my stack after taking profits several times already  Wink

873  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC = $600USD, now a good time to buy? on: September 30, 2016, 07:33:27 PM
not 50/50
at least 60/40 if not more favourable odds btc price will only rise
874  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC = $600USD, now a good time to buy? on: September 29, 2016, 06:41:56 AM
a lot of improvemnts arer coming to bitcoin
the next time the price jumps ,it will happen rapidly
600 is probably as cheap as its going to get
get them now if you want to be on the train when we pass 1k again Wink

I disagree with this kind of thinking. It is not only trying to create hype but it is also ignoring one key rule in trading. Always look for a bargain and always protect your money. The present price should not be thought of as "cheap" or "expensive" now but rather start thinking of how you can get Bitcoin at a much better price than what is offered now. It would be an irresponsible thing to say "buy now! buy now!" to the people who do not know any better, only for them to find out that it might be a wrong move. Also do we even know if it will pass $1000 in the near future?

if your serious about btc and in it for the long haul ,600 is cheap my friend

ive been buying btc since they were $6 and they have a long way to go yet

if you think theyre too expensive at 600 ,thats your perogative but you  wait for a dip that may never come

when the price is $3-5K you will wish you stocked up but it will be too late ,your move .......
875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell my stocks buy bitcoin... on: September 28, 2016, 11:53:13 PM
crypto has much more poetntial for growth imo
by 2020 a bitcoin will be $3000-5000

879  Other / MultiBit / Re: can anyone clarify how secure is Multibit HD actually ? on: September 28, 2016, 10:35:37 PM
due to the way the developers  fees are extracted
Mandatory developers' fees were removed in version 0.3.0 (and even before then, the devs did their best to maintain user privacy with their BRIT donation scheme).

and also privacy can be compromised more easily  ......
Are the developers able to see how many btc is in your balance?
No. Privacy is perhaps a bit better than many other desktop wallets because you need a password to simply view your current balance (many other wallets only require a password to initiate a transaction; addresses and balances for those are available w/o a password).

MultiBit HD also uses a significantly better (if perhaps imperfect) wallet encryption scheme; in particular its key stretching makes brute-forcing much more time consuming than MultiBit Classic's.

Can they adjust their donation  fee higher if they want to?
As you already noted, they certainly can via new releases (but not remotely). The old fee code was removed from MultiBit HD, and they have committed to not reintroducing it in the future. That doesn't mean they're technically incapable of doing so.

Given how long they've been involved in the Bitcoin community, I think it's safe to say they are among the most trustworthy of wallet developers IMHO, and I wouldn't worry about this possibility.

thanks for the feedback gentlemen Smiley
sounds like a worthy upgrade from the  classic
if there is no mandatory  fee  are the guys not getting paid anymore  ?
880  Other / MultiBit / Re: can anyone clarify how secure is Multibit HD actually ? on: September 28, 2016, 08:02:13 PM
That's what I thought about it also... But I have a friend who argues that the developers can take your any amount of your  bitcoins if they want to....  (or a hacker could use that method  to steal your entire balance etc)

Just wanted to clarify it with some members who have more experience with the HD wallet

Anyone else use it for large amounts?
Are the developers able to see how many btc is in your balance?
Can they adjust their donation  fee higher if they want to?

From what  I can see, As long as common sense security is  adhered to,  the HD wallet should be as secure as  any  other spv wallet...
