8641  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock-to-Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity on: April 25, 2021, 09:54:56 AM
i find it real funny

most of the math that make up 'stock to flow' metric is averaging a yearly price. .. of averaging a 10 day price
so when seeing the yearly average price line and then saying 'oh look there is a relationship to daily price'... OF COURSE THERE IS
the average is definitely going to be within a 5% deviation.. because the price is only on average 10% volatile (5%up or 5% down)

stock to flow is not predicting anything. its just reformatting a price into a new line thats not the daily price but an averaged price.. so yes ofcourse the line would be within limits of the daily price

if you use a true coin generation/circulation metric. that does not include a price average or any math including the price.. and then set that against the price.. then you wont see the same pattern or correlation

the reason for the S2F correlation vs daily price has nothing to do with coin generation/circulation amounts. and everything to do with the 'average price' math they added into the metric

OP creates a fantasy about cannibalism. wants people to discuss cannibalism and ends post saying whats the point of cannibalism

guess he opened and closed his own question in one post.

..
so lets tweak his fantasy question a bit.
a state where rules dont apply. complete 17th century 'new world' wild west paradigm..

the answer is slowly those with smart brains create civilised living and respect. and the outlaw idiots die out killing each other.. where civility becomes the surviving trait. not cruelty
8643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Accidentally sent Litecoin to Bitcoin address on: April 22, 2021, 03:16:53 PM
LocalBitcoins wallets support only Bitcoin. Transactions sent to LocalBitcoins receiving wallet addresses that contain unsupported cryptocurrencies cannot be reversed or recovered.

technically its possible. but looks like administerally they just dont want to.
still worth a try asking
8644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Accidentally sent Litecoin to Bitcoin address on: April 22, 2021, 04:44:04 AM
I sent from Binance 1 LTC to Localbitcoins which is BTC.

My 1 LTC is lost now?

transactions dont use 'address' in raw data format. but keys.. meaning your kinda in luck. alls not lost

in short
ask localbitcoin to locate the private key for the BTC address you used.. import that btc private key into litecoin wallet so they have access to the ltc coins

and then send you the coins to a LTC address you want the refund
(or ask them to associate that ltc key as your localbitcoin deposit balance address)
8645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone just bought 8000+ bitcoin on Coinbase on: April 22, 2021, 04:30:25 AM
Someone just bought 8000+ bitcoin on coinbase https://ibb.co/pb3Yt9T

nope. the actual reality is
someone deposited 8000btc into coinbase pro wallet
yep its a 8000btc movement not a dollar deposit
(dollar deposit=buyer)

maybe that someone sold some of those coins but not all.. however unlikely right now
coinbase pro's volume for the entire day of all traders is $127,627,412 = 2320btc
so that 8k hasnt been sold yet

coinbases daily trading volume average is ~$200m=~3600btc

so with there being an 8k btc deposit. expect either a sell off to a factor of 2-3x daily volume either quickly in one day or slowly over multiple days

..
heck the wallet movement may not even be a user.. it can just be a hot/cold wallet shift internally
8646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stock to Flow Model the most accurate prediction of all models saying 82k May on: April 22, 2021, 03:45:05 AM
chart in OP is meaningless

the colourful line is the daily prices...
the line is just the average of those prices

its not predicting anything

its just whole numbers and yearly averaged numbers

its not taking 2 different datapoints of 2 different metrics.
its just the same piece of data represented in 2 ways

sorry guys but its meaningless
8647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PBOC (China CCP ) Already Controls Bitcoin - It's done on: April 22, 2021, 03:03:54 AM
your maybe 5 years behind in terms of false propaganda

china owns less than 20% of hashrate
ill leave you to spend the next 5 years catching up with facts
8648  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Virginia Police Officer Fired After Making A Donation on: April 21, 2021, 10:35:34 PM
so what your saying public servants should not be held under scrutiny
.. and then you must be hinting its ok for cops to look into citizens bank accounts. but no one should look into cops bank accounts?

hmm

What a shit show, rat invested jab, well not real that bad, nevertheless amazing what people shoot-up
https://apnews.com/article/health-business-coronavirus-science-4cde25193f4604f6b460963a87611bae

just goes to show that they do check things
and no one shot up the bad batch because of protocols and quality assurance checks were done at the ingredient processing part before its then formulated into a vaccine

it never even had a chance to become vaccines.

so atleast tash can now say he has been debunked by his own links
8650  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Riots after Death of Man in Minneapolis Police Custody on: April 21, 2021, 06:34:35 PM
No, I am suggesting that Floyd took pills and swallowed them to hide them once the police approached his car.

How else can you possibly explain partially chewed up pills being found in the police car where Floyd struggled with police WITH Floyd's DNA on them? He did the same exact thing during his 2019 arrest which was shown in court, not the full bodycam video but partially. Police yelled at Floyd saying "spit it out". He has a history of doing this.

Am I to believe that had nothing to do with his death?

oh so its not longer a story:
Quote
and the fact that chewed up fentanyl/methamphetamine pills were found in the back of the squad car Floyd was placed in had no effect?

so no longer about pill packed in police car.. but now pills before the arrest...
..
hmm so how come he was still alert and able to talk and spell his name and give date of birth and answer questions..

do you still not know how overdoses work

its funny how the video has been public for months.. the jury has already passed its verdict.. but you as a sofa jurer have a different story to tell that does not follow ANY ACTUAL EVIDENCE

by the way the medication packaging found in floyds sisters car was not fentanyl. and the amount of that other medication in his blood was not overdose amount. it was not even therapeutic/recreational amount

so heres some actual facts.. not stories
fentanyl levels in floyd were similar to those found in DUI stats. but not enough as postmortem stats
0=clean    9-12=DUI(alive)         18+=overdose(dead)
                  ^ floyd had 11
also those that overdose and die. dont have norfentanyl in their system as they die before fentanyl has chance to break down
floyd had norfentanyl in his system meaning he took fentanyl along time before the police approach. and had enough time for the fentanyl to break down(recover from peak of high)
so again no overdose risk
8651  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chinese communism is a biggest threat to the humanity but why? on: April 21, 2021, 03:47:05 PM
Communism doesn't allow anyone to grow. Chinese communism also allows for Uighur muslims to be thrown into concentration camps and forcibly sterilized. But, is it really communism at that point? Seems more authoritarian to me.

China will be the #1 threat to first world democracies within the next 10-20 years. Just watch.

firstly.
china is not the old orient of rice paddy fields and samauri's
china has actually grown alot.
maybe you missed alot of history but china is the largest manufacturing industry in the world.. more progressive than america which is why america uses china for manufacturing

maybe you forgot other snippets of modern history. where america locks up mexicans and native americans and sterilises them
did you forget the native american sterilisation history

china is more wealthier then america
if you priced all goods and incomes based on a 'breadloaf' value or a price of fish value.
china value is way higher than america.

america hides this value by tweaking the exchange rate in dollars towards us favour
but if you look at true value and measure it against true gross product(PRODUCT NOT DOLLAR). china is already far ahead

america want to jump ahead with QE of creating a few more trillion out of thin air to further hide the true GDP in their dollar sinkpit
lets use a simple unit calculation
if chinese have a min wage of 18cny/h and america has a min wage of $7.50/h
then each cny would be 2.5x of a dollar
but the FX exchange wants to make it 8x diffrence between cny and dollar
.....
anyway. china has more autonomous zones than the US. and has progressed more in the last 30 years than america has in the last 60 years
8652  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Riots after Death of Man in Minneapolis Police Custody on: April 21, 2021, 02:57:57 PM
Dr. Baker also testified that it appeared to him the knee was on the upper back area between the shoulder blades for most of the time. So which is it? Was it on the neck, or was it on the back?

maybe if you as a sofa jurer watched the video you could see for yourself. thats why not only the 'expert' words but the video itself are used

also he was handcuffed. so if you want to suggest he reached in his pocket upwrapped some packaging and put a pill in his mouth.. seems you dont understand handcuff logic much
also in full view of several police officers.. seems you dont understand visual logic

so.. lets see if you can watch the video. and actually see the events. and not make up 'maybe' stories
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjKjaCvXdf4

as you can see in the first 5 minutes he was conscious. talking. and alert enough to even spell his name and give his date of birth.
yes he seemed upset that he was being arrested for what he deemed as a victimless crime. but then who would be happy.
none of this displays any sign of someone that has overdosed.

also to your suggestion that he took something out and left it in the back of the police car.. well the cops frisked him and emptied his pockets before he got into the car

so. lets get things straight. look at the video linked above and actually tell me the specific times where your assertions occured

oh and one more thing. starting at 11:30. you can see chauvins LEFT knee hard on his neck. and right knee hanging in the air in his back area
i know you only want to talk about the right knee but be aware of the left knee
8653  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AFRICA: where did they lose it ? on: April 21, 2021, 11:28:05 AM
This sums up what happened in Africa

This brings us back to my point about Africa suffering from excessive population growth. This is partly due to the 5 stage development cycle, but also certainly due in large part to catholic missionaries... they 'converted' the African population as part of the colonialist drive to establish control... and of course the catholic church bans contraception. The refusal due to western indoctrination to use contraception leads directly to a population increase, which in many cases these countries can't support... which in turn contributes to poverty, malnutrition and starvation. The pope and the catholic church are responsible for a huge amount of suffering on the African continent.

tribal africa always had high birth rates. .. but also high deathrates. hense the need for high birth to counter the deaths.
this was not about democracy. this was about modern medicine.. or lack there of
tribes needed warriors/farmers so need to expand. but tribal battles/disease/famine decreased population. hense more births needed

next came the foreign democracy. this put up borders to stop africans migrating out of africa. while africa internally lacked democracy to negotiate its way to freedom
yes africa still lacked democracy
so the lack of emigration out of africa added more 'growth' to the populous due to no escape to dilute it down

next came the influx of american/european nations colonising and displacing africans. leading to the
houses:population being pushed to its limits where it became a crises

then modern medicine allowed for a better survival rate. meaning population explosion as the birth:death ratio became unbalanced. but again not democracy.. but instead modern medicine

then came the colonial expansion of more displacements and then the land grabs and the political control from the colonials. and the the coups trying to fight back to get land back.
which has occured many times now . same game different face.

then came the african democracy. but still fighting over who should be leader of regions. who has the peoples voice. who has been corrupted by western greed.. more coups. more fights
8654  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ORIGIN OF NON- ALLIGNED MOVEMENT on: April 21, 2021, 11:10:42 AM
with 2/3rds vote of the UN they are powerful
they get to temper down some over reaching policies of certain blocs of UN

they are not talked about at the UN in media. but then again the other blocs are not either. the media representation of the UN is independant states finding unity.

yes the large economic blocks of US/UK/EU have one agenda. but without the non-aligned movements general acceptance the US/UK/EU bloc cant really do much.

this makes the US/EU/UK bloc not create over reaching policies of control. and makes them have a few more morals and ethics if US/EU/UK want to get anything accepted into policy

yes there is bribery and corruption like 'donating' aid to non-aligned movement countries to sway there vote
yes some policies have slipped in that have hurt their nations. but overall without the non-aligned nations. there would have been far more bad policies passed.

they are not collaborating to over power the economic bloc. they are there to prevent the economic block overpowering them

its not perfect. but its something

debate over.

stop defending a cop that used excessive force.
the verdict has passed..

i had a bit of arm ache. not worthy of complaining about
kind of feeling like laying on your arm too long.
8657  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Riots after Death of Man in Minneapolis Police Custody on: April 21, 2021, 04:07:43 AM
overdose is:
take the drug. go into a high instantly and slip into a coma.
yep thats how it works

its not
take a drug. and decide to go to a store and buy cigarettes and then walk to a car and sit in drivers seat
listen to some music while chatting to passengers, interact with cops, get out a car on his own feet and walk to the side walk. talked to the officers clearly and plead to not go into the back of the police car.
he was alert and pleading.. meaning it was not a drug induced overdose
https://youtu.be/VDd5GlrgvsE?t=162
as you can see.. clearly standing walking and talking. ..

...some people want to also argue that the claustrophobia thing is not real.
actually being in a front seat of your own car where you know you can open a door and be incontrol and you can see clearly out of the windscreen.. this is not the same as being handcuffed in a backseat where you cant open the back door and the windows are shut and tinted to not see clearly
and where the leg room of the back seat is restricted and a PVC+metal panel dividing the back/front means it can feel more like a prison/cage..(as police backseats are designed to feel like on purpose)

however the claustrophobia did not cause the death. it caused the need to remove him from the car.

being put onto the road should be to have a few seconds for the THREE officers to reposition themselves and at most put leg shackles on. maybe 30 seconds..

a knee in the back should not be something done for 9 minutes while cops just sit and do nothing.
a knee in the neck should not be something done for any minute while cops just sit and do nothing.

but lets say there was some vaguely stupid reason to knee the neck of someone for more then 30 seconds

a knee in the neck should not be continued when the person has gone silent
a knee in the neck should not be continued when someone is known to be unconscious
a knee in the neck should not be continued when an ambulance has been called
a knee in the neck should not be continued when the ambulance arrives
a knee in the neck should not be continued when the paramedic got out and was standing by the person

choking someone out for 9 minutes. is not police policy
choking someone out and continuing to choke out and not do anything to aid recovery. is not police policy

even chauvins boss and colleagues and specialist in police training are all saying what chauvin done is not policy

so accept it chauvin broke the law in a manner that caused someones death
accept the verdict is in.
accept that chauvin is guilty
8658  Other / Off-topic / Re: ⚽ BREAKING NEWS: European Super League Football Teams vs Football Fans on: April 21, 2021, 03:20:47 AM
UAFA and FIFA have become too monopolistic and are taking a huge cut of profits from every game just for being the 'regulator'

many teams want to break away and have a 'regulator' that is founded by the football teams and not some other business where none of the chiefs have kicked a ball in any official game

..
yes its about money. but its the same plan as a music artist wanting tos tart its own management company to avoid other management companies syphoning off the money for their plays

if football teams/music bands dont like their management company they should have the ability to set their own management company up and not have their income controlled by some stranger
8659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which on-chain anayltics have you found to be most useful when predicting price? on: April 20, 2021, 07:57:40 PM
you cannot predict the price.

you can however weight the risks

for instance knowing the cheap:expensive mining cost of $21k:$72k. you can see that if the price ever tanked down to $21k where no one is profiting via mining. then everyone will prefer to buy coins cheap instead of waste it on electric
so you can work out some bottomline value lines no one would want to go below.
where the buy pressure is super high to prevent it going that low
you can also work out the most expensive mining cost. where by if the price ever went above this. no one would want to buy because they can get coins cheaper via mining/pool OTC

so you can form a window of value of $21k-$72k(at current mining costs)
and if the price is near the tip of this then the buy support is lacking.

you can then add on more metrics.. like the UTXO movements of the last 12 months (active traders) and look at where the majority have moved coins above certain price. where they too would not want to sell at a loss

for instance 50% of last 18month of coins moved when prices were above $37k (75% of 12 month coin movements)
so there is strong support not to sell below $37k

so you can narrow down the window to ~$37k-$72k as the speculation zone of support and resistance

you cant predict the exact price at any time. but you can evaluate if the price is at a low good value or at a high overpriced bubble.. and then weigh out the risk of oppertunity

8660  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Have Caused Bitcoin to Flash Crash On Sunday? on: April 20, 2021, 07:20:13 AM
dont think of it as a 'crash'. because the month average has been $56k anyway

the $64k was a temporary blip. not sustainable.
a $53k-$56k is a normal flow average for the last month. and not something to panic/worry/question

but now we know the market has tested $62k twice in the last 3 months. it shows that its capable of going up in the midterm future. but just not ready yet to go up and stay up
