okay people 3 new members  all joined the forum  this month  they are marked above.

I realize the prize is very good so new names are to be expected  but I will track and make adjustments if this pattern turns excessive  in fact I am inclined to not let any more new members pick this adjustment.
The three in can stay in but no more new members is looking like it may happen here.

I'm sorry but those 3 new member should be removed ... check their post history, it's complete bullshit

the 3 post in the same thread for nothing (How much time have been logged into the forum ...) and one of them also posted a nude selfie of a female.. Nothing about bitcoin at all.

EDIT: I'm sorry Phil, I didn't put the 0 in my guess ! 15.0 ... /failed

Did you tried another PSU ?

I'm no expert, this looks strange :

Dec  9 20:03:16 miner local1.warn minergate[527]: i2c read word 0x0 0x88 error8
Dec  9 20:03:16 miner local1.warn minergate[527]: INPUT VOLTAGE=0

I2c read error and no voltage

Thanks for trying, it's hard to believe you couldn't beat 1B share :-(

Phil said one of his did a 2B before but there's no screenshot evidence so I'm not sure Roll Eyes Cheesy.

887  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards on: December 09, 2015, 03:36:30 PM
Main server having some issues. We're on backup server now.

If you didn't get reconnected after 1-2 minutes, you may have a broken DNS server that caches entries longer than their TTL. You can fix your DNS or add us2.bitminter.com:3333 and/or eu1.bitminter.com:3333 as backup pools on your miner.

I used us2 as backup, my miners jumped on it right away. It was all good on my part. I was looking at the pool when it happens, the hashrate came back pretty quickly.

/Highfive for the backup server ;-)

888  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Sp20 issues on: December 09, 2015, 03:32:31 PM
Well, if you want to give up on them, I might be interested to buy them if we are not too far from each other (I'm in Canada)

Let me know

I have problems whit an SP20/cgminer

CGMiner dont work,

CGMiner Version: NA
CGminer Miner Status: Not Running

What can i do?

Hostname
miner-FL1444045005
MAC address
6C:EC:EB:93:80:78
Hardware Version
SP20 Jackson
FW Version
2.6.14
CGMiner Version
NA
CGMiner Status
Not running
MinerGate Status
Running

Check in the ASIC Stats page or your pool settings

Poolsettinks ok

you sure your PSU can handle 288/ 288 /288 /288 ?

this is an extreme setup... we do not recommend it. Try at lower spec .... like 200 / 200 / 200 / 200 and make sure your PSU can handle 800 watt ( minimun 1000 watt PSU => 80% rules)

Well, it's good to know it doesn't fix the "Internet lost and burn to death issue". I will make sure mine are correctly manually set.

Thanks for the info, I was sleeping thinking I was all good with the latest firmware ...

Thanks

Here we go! Feels like my miners are back where they belong.  Cool
Very glad you did Smiley
You found our current block Smiley

 Cool Grin

Awesome!!

3rd block I've hit! (that I'm aware of at least)

And to think, I almost made a pit stop on ck's pool before switching over from slush. Was thinking about going at it for 24 hours or so. It's all good though, I'm happy to have found a block for the pool, and I wouldn't necessarily have found one on ck's pool. (right?)

Impressive stats from your s7 5.7th @725 with 0.03% HW!!

Congrats on the block

May I ask what voltage your psu output is ? (12.X ?)
896  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Sp20 issues on: December 08, 2015, 03:41:53 AM
if that doesn't work you can also try to boot it up with a cable into the console connector if you have one ...
897  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Sp20 issues on: December 08, 2015, 03:40:24 AM
I have two sp20's that just turn on and never become available on the network. The network lights flash but the green or yellow light never flash. The boards are good as I tested them with another controller. I'm assuming either they have static ip's and I can't find them or the controllers are bad. any ideas on what to try. Is there a way to login to them thru usb or RS-232.

Some people have been successful by pre-heating it with a hairdryer (a bit not over heating).

The unit or controller?

into the unit, do not over heat anything

Yes even with the new diff increase we are still at +5-6% for the day. Keeps going up and up.

Do you know when Bitmain will stop building the S7? I assume they only ordered a limited amount of the S7 ASIC chip. Once they run out, its going to cost millions to manufacteur more.

yeah that would be a nice piece of info to have.

@ bitmaintech feel free to let me know how many more you will build.

And while you are at it  please put aside 2000 chips for sidehack.

Thank you sirs Smiley

Yeah !! please !! Tongue
