901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: August 14, 2023, 03:31:03 PM
it's not wrong if someone wants to get rich quick, but this needs to be understood. We don't need to rush into making decisions. things like this make the risk in our investments increase.
Also, don't get attracted to coins that have fast growth, however, in-depth research and forward analysis is an important point. we can invest in a coin whose price has increased by 100%, but we don't know why the price of the coin has increased, and what will happen in the future. people sometimes think it's going to happen again, and think they're going to be rich in no time, and end up rushing into investing.
Wanting to get rich quick is everyone's wish, however, I think this needs to be based on in-depth knowledge, analysis and research.

The psychology of many investors, unfortunately, is organized in a similar way. They consider it futile to buy a coin that no one is talking about. At the same time, they are happy to immediately buy the coin that everyone in the crypto community is talking about. Only problem is, when everyone and everywhere is talking about a coin, it's a sure signal to sell your coins rather than buy them. A truly great investment is to buy when there is no hype yet, but without specialized knowledge and insider knowledge it is extremely difficult to get such signals.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: August 14, 2023, 03:28:21 PM
This memcoin was once insanely popular without the participation of Ilon Musk. All thanks to its utilitarian features in terms of cheap commissions when transferring your funds from one service to another. Now, thanks to Ilon, this feature has lost its relevance and many exchanges ask for 20-40 DOGE for the transfer of your funds, which can hardly be called a good option for the transfer. Ilon Musk has done nothing useful for DOGE, except turning a unique coin into another speculative tool.
Besides what you mention. The worst part is the circulating supply is unlimited while there’s no token burn mechanism. The price is still stable while the supply is increasing which is forming a bubble. This is the worst meme coin because it’s valuation is purely due to hype of Elon while the utility is still the same for P2P transactions which most of the mem coin with token burn mechanism and other utility already have.

All memcoins depend on something, be it a group of investors, some influencer or a developer who spends money to promote the memcoin. Without these components no one wants any memcoin, people buy these coins when they are very much talked about in the crypto community. Once shillers and Influencers forget about memcoin, it becomes absolutely no use to anyone. The whole memcoin industry is built only on speculation and hype.

904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Meme Tokens Forge a New Era of Crypto Champions? on: August 14, 2023, 10:04:07 AM
I doubt it. Simply because no one is interested. Memcoins in the crypto community are perceived solely as a way to get rich quick. There is no other merit to these cryptocurrencies. No one is trying to look for some kind of utility, useful functions in them, or to create large communities. The whole idea of creating memcoins revolves around greed and lust for enrichment. This is why I believe that memcoins will not unite into anything.

What if we don't just casually rule out the possibility of this unification? By default, I am of the same opinion as you but then I did a quick research about the project OP mentioned MEMEVENGERS proposing this unification and I can see that It just got its token MMVG listed and Bitget is hosting a deposit/hodl event to split 85M MMVG in commemoration of the listing. This brings me to the realisation that this idea of memecoin unification has gone past just a mere idea and is already being implemented. What if....just what if from this one project memecoins evolves into something better than what we have known all along?

Any news about memcoins serves to attract investors and their money into useless and overvalued projects. The very meaning of memcoin is to enrich its creator and those who invested in it. We're not talking about simple market investors here. If Bitget is talking about something, it means he wants to make money on it. The idea of some kind of merger is just a reason for you or someone else to pay attention to memcoins and buy them.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi Regulation on: August 14, 2023, 09:25:01 AM
If we want to attract VCs and institutional investors into crypto, regulation would be our only choice.

At the same time, funds have been investing in crypto projects for years, where there is almost no regulation. So, the presence of regulation is not so important for them to invest in some projects.

Despite the alarmimg threat of centralization, we still have a small number of projects that are actually decentralized. The only thing is that they're not as popular as their centralized counterparts.

For example? Any known altcoin is by definition centralized, as such an altcoin has a development team and major venture investors.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: August 13, 2023, 07:05:11 PM
Well, it is to say that Doge gains popularity because of Elon Musk, not because people had see it as valuable in the crypto space. So, what will happen if Elon Musk is gone and leave Dogecoin, could we think will be hyped again, I don't think so. I don't think Dogecoin deserves too much attention and so are these meme coins. Yes, it can't deny that many people have made money from them but can't see how many people had suffered losses because of these shitcoins. I don't want to assume but I know most of us know about Dogecoin, it was not a good choice for investment and so thinking it will bullish again is impossible.

907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: August 13, 2023, 06:32:15 PM
I believe there is no way to find out whether a meme coin is good or bad. If Binance were adding MEME coins daily, we could have said that you can buy them and take the risk. However, MEXC is not a top-tier exchange, so I don't trust the frequent launch of new meme coins. If you are very lucky, you might make some profits, but most of them won't rise significantly, and after some minor movements, they may become stagnant. Once a MEME coin experiences a pump, don't expect it to pump again; greed might lead to losses as the chances of that happening are high. Overall, I would advise not to rely on any guarantee regarding meme coins, as they may pump beyond imagination but also involve a substantial risk when holding them.

I agree that there is no tool that reveals whether the memcoin in front of you is good or not. The only option to buy a good memcoin is to buy everything. With dozens of new memcoins hitting the market every day, the probability of hitting a gem the first time is slim to none. I understand why many investors suddenly have these questions in their heads, FOMO does its thing and makes you look for something that doesn't exist in nature. Any indication of whether a coin is good or not.  Memcoins are roulette, when people come to a casino, it's not like they are trying to ask what number on roulette is good and what is bad. It's all absolute randomness, just like in the case of investing in memcoins.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs real or fake? on: August 13, 2023, 06:02:37 PM
99.99% of free NFTs that suddenly appear in your wallet are either phishing or scams. The scammer's job is to get you to interact with some service where you try to exchange or sell this NFT, then you do a full approve of your wallet and lose all your funds. There is nothing free and valuable in cryptocurrency at the same time.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: August 13, 2023, 05:28:14 PM
Bank investors have more certainty because there capital is completely safe but they give 8-10% annual profits to the investors of per year. But it is comparatively less in terms of profits.

On the other hand you will get constant profits from crypto as if you are experienced in trading then daily profits is possible. Otherwise you can get profits by investing. However crypto investment puts your capital at greater risk (main point).

What is the point of comparing high-risk investments and bank deposits? They are completely different ways of investing your money and completely different risks. As a rule, if you want a lot of money, then you need to take more risks, otherwise there is no other way. Bank deposits are more for preserving the value of your money, not for making money. Altcoin investments are used for getting rich quick, not for preserving the value of your money. I have never seen any altcoin investor who invested $100,000 in altcoins, then withdrew the same $100,000 after 3 years and was satisfied.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worldcoin launch with ORB to scan your eyes on: August 13, 2023, 04:50:33 PM
I am watching how things are going with this project and this whole story reminds me of another full-scale scam like onecoin or something similar. Regulators everywhere are paying attention to this altcoin, they come to the offices with searches and inspections, this is no longer a good sign and a red flag. At the same time, many people, stupefied by euphoria, are raring to carry their money into this dubious hype or are waiting for the price to drop in order to invest profitably.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumors spread that SBF is tied to the $BALD rugpull on: August 13, 2023, 04:28:19 PM
Another memcoin scam has successfully defrauded many gullible gambling investors and escaped with their money. Another developer got rich at the expense of ludomaniacs. Nothing changes in the crypto world and even if the market swallows another 1,000,000 projects like BALD, I doubt that something will change in the minds of investors and they will stop participating in such scams. There is no limit to human greed.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if USDT falls down? on: August 13, 2023, 04:25:06 PM
If you recall what happened to USTC, I mean the Tera classic stable coin? It wasn't backed by anything other some portion of some BTC and their tokens. It was an experiment meant to succeed beyond the space of USDT but failed when Bitcoin price start dumping and when some people saw some flaws in the Defi, they made use of it to manipulate the price and short the he'll living out of the stable coin and today, it's worth nothing, all investment down the drainage.

UST had an impressive LFG fund which was the collateral for LUNA, this fund had tens of billions of dollars in bitcoin. The main problem was that UST was giving an unrealistic interest rate, almost 20%. At that rate, you need a constant inflow of new money. It was more like some kind of pyramid scheme, where the pyramid lives if there is a constant inflow of new money. Because of the problems in tokenomics, LUNA faced hyperinflation and even a huge fund could not save the situation. Apparently they realized that the situation cannot be saved and it is easier to sell off all bitcoins than to try to keep UST from de-peg.

But my question is, can moderators edit our posts?

They can.

I corrected a user error with a very long link in this post, and since this post was quoted, I corrected the same error in the quote. No need to worry, moderators don't change the meaning of your posts. If any moderator is caught doing such a thing, he will instantly lose his position and get red trust. Thus his journey on this forum will be over.

Main ne is post mein ek user error ko theek kiya tha bahut lambi link ke saath, aur kyun ke ye post quote ki gayi thi, maine usi error ko quote mein bhi theek kiya. fikr na karein, moderators aapke posts ke maani ko badal nahi dete. agar kisi moderator ko aisi koi harkat karte pakda jaye, toh uska turant apni position kho jayega aur use red trust di jayegi. is tarah uski journey is forum par samapt hogi.
