1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I liked this project let me know about your thoughts on this on: February 07, 2023, 08:43:08 PM
Here is the catch, our APR is not static it varies based on number of contributors. For instance if only one person stake his token then APR probably 1,298,000% but as long as contributors increase then APR may drop upto 5160%.

I wonder if anyone really believes that the project can pay at least 10 investors 5160% p.a.? If that happens, the project will most likely go bankrupt. Such huge interest rates only serve to attract liquidity, such figures have little to do with reality. I don't even want to say anything about hundreds of thousands of percent, or even millions. This is an outright lie and a scam. No one will ever pay such interest on staking.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu turns into privacy coin like Monero or ZCash? on: February 07, 2023, 08:31:50 PM
And does that mean that its rate will now start growing?

The rate will go up, if only this coin will suddenly become wildly popular among private coin lovers. But why do they need SHIB when they have Monero? People who value privacy will choose Monero. SHIB is a memcoin that has grown through social media shilling. Most people don't care about its utilitarian features, they only care about the difference between the purchase price and the sale price.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Battle of Currency: Fiat Cash vs Cryptocurrency on: February 07, 2023, 08:11:43 PM
Fiat money has more leverage, because governments and banks are interested in spreading fiat money, not cryptocurrencies. Through fiat money they have full control and regulation. Decentralized cryptocurrencies are out of their control, of course, if we are talking about truly centralized cryptocurrencies, not their semblance with censorship, like Ethereum. I think cryptocurrencies will be in the shadow of fiat money for a long time to come, because traditional finance is now completely tied to fiat money.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake paid promotions on Twitter on: February 07, 2023, 08:04:17 PM
You don't need to pay attention to any coin ads from famous people on Twitter at all. This is their business, they make money on it, luring naive investors to buy this or that project. They make money, while investors lose their money. Very often these Influencers advertise all sorts of gaming projects, NFTs or memcoins. All this is not worth your attention and money. These are all garbage projects that will never bring good profits to their investors. Only to those who bought before the appearance of such advertising from a known account.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tip and Tricks about when to buy or when to sell? on: February 07, 2023, 07:27:19 PM
Hello,
I know that trading requires knowledge, but any tricks for newbies about when to buy or sell? For example, looking at the volume, looking at the queue for buying and selling and etc.
Sorry if my question is not a good question.

Thank you.

Everyone will recommend their favorite and understandable for them tool, but it will not help you, because you do not have that vision, which the one who recommended you what to pay attention to when opening deals has. It's very simple, there is no universal solution to what to pay attention to in trading. You have to determine for yourself what you understand best in trading and try to develop this tool. Without your own skills and understanding you will only lose money, even if you use tools that others can make money with.

1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CRP]Self-funded and Released Utopia P2P ecosystem and Crypton privacy coin on: February 05, 2023, 07:24:16 PM
In the main Utopia client in the "uWallet" section I saw a tab "Mining". It says that you can mine with the help of mining bots. I have a question about this, is it possible to mine a coin with the main client without using mining bots? And what do I need to do to do that?
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Utopia Poker Client - review campaign on: February 05, 2023, 03:07:18 PM
I see that the poker room is completely empty Sad There are no tables, no tournaments. Nothing. Based on that I don't even know what kind of feedback you expect from your pokerroom users. Сan't check anything there at the moment. To start with, you need to attract players there, at least. In order to try out the poker room, you can at least begin by adding tables with virtual chips.

P.S. I apologize for the off-topic. In the client, I saw the "Mining" tab. That is, I understand that the CRP token can be mined. What do have to do to do this?

1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: February 05, 2023, 10:04:48 AM
I've been hoarding lots of airdrops for a year or so, glancing at their pricing makes me angry. I wouldn't dare or suggest airdrop to anyone I know.

It is worth expecting if you use some kind of analytics before you take part in an airdrop. Undoubtedly, many airdrop are just a mountain of garbage. You should NOT expect coins that are not backed by anything, not backed by big investors or exchanges, and only listed on one DEX to be a valuable giveaway. Many airdrop hunters waste their time on such projects, thinking that suddenly out of nowhere they will draw liquidity to them and those tokens will skyrocket in value. They won't. If a project does not have good tokenomics, no investor support, such tokens will never gain any value, so why waste your time to get such shitcoins?
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CBDC and Regulation discussion on: February 05, 2023, 09:59:05 AM
You as a crypto adopter would you like to use CBDC if the pairs are available on all crypto exchanges as a way to store yourself some digital US Dollar?
Well, between the currently stablecoins we have disponible which are issued by private companies (which have already been under the center of a lot of polemics) and CBDCs which are going to be issued by governments, I think the second is still more reliable, right? Both are centralized and not 100% to be trusted, but at least the government can give some extra insurance those shady companies don't.

However, I'm not sure yet if the CBDC of a determined country will be disponible for citizens of foreigner countries, what would forbid most of us from using dollar CDBC.

Yes, they are both not secure and centralized. But it should be understood that with CBDC, you will get additional KYC and regulation, that is, it will not be as easy to use in the cryptosphere as regular stablecoin, which can be added to exchanges without any KYC. CBDC is the same fiat, only in digital form, and to deposit fiat on a centralized exchange, you must always pass KYC, just like with CBDC. Therefore, to work with cryptocurrencies, it is more reliable to choose stablecoins to protect yourself from additional checks and blocking.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bithumb CEO arrested on: February 04, 2023, 07:21:01 PM
I would like to see other crypto scammers arrested instead of moving freely around the world, like CEO Terra, or former FTX CEO. There is a lot of scams in the crypto-sphere, especially in centralized exchanges where insider trading and price manipulation are rampant. Tougher regulation would rid the community of characters like SBF or CEO of Bithumb.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: February 04, 2023, 07:08:41 PM
But again in the crypto world anything can happen.

Maybe, though unlikely. With the tokenomics that SHIB has now, we can say that we'll never see $1, there's just not enough money to make the coin pump to such values. But there is another option. For example, have a revaluation. Raise the exchange rate and burn a huge amount of coins, thereby reducing the circulating supply, but leaving the current capitalization of the cryptocurrency. Then we can talk about the value of SHIB in $1.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to profit from altcoins collapses? on: February 04, 2023, 06:43:42 PM
The opportunity to make a profit when the market drops sharply has a very low success rate.  I am also experiencing huge losses with my altcoin portfolio but I am not selling them all.  I recreate the altcoin portfolio with projects I think have potential and stack them.  Instead of my portfolio of 6 altcoins, I'll be selling those that don't have much upside based on my analysis.  Use the proceeds to buy more altcoins that I hold.  I expect one of them to thrive in the long run.

The most common strategy to profit from a falling market is for margin traders, but margin trading itself is risky. The best strategy for profiting from a falling market is to buy back cheap coins at a deep discount, then hold them for the medium or long term and then sell them. This is much safer than playing with shoulders and putting yourself at risk of liquidation.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: February 04, 2023, 06:41:17 PM
Are you for or against XRP?

For a long-term hold, unequivocally NO. For a medium- or short-term hold, unequivocally YES. XRP has always left a dual feeling when investing. On the one hand the project is a blue chip and is one of the top 10 cryptocurrencies by capitalization, on the other hand it has not updated its ATH for 5 years and there are constantly some lawsuits and SEC prosecutions around it. At the same time, it has good fundamentals and the coin clearly does not look like a scam.
