Coins from the top 20 will no longer grow steadily and you won't make much money there. They are, you might say, low-risk investments that are likely to bring you money, but not much. Of course, right now it looks like coins meant for big capitals and institutionals and I partly agree with that. Coins like ETH, BNB, ADA, etc. are very poorly suited for portfolios that have liquidity of a few hundred or thousands of dollars. For 3-4 years of holding such portfolio investor will get max 500% profit, which is great for traditional finance world, but very low for crypto investments, the same SUI gave 5000% profit for few days to those who bought through WL. I agree. I am looking forward to the next 2 years as another major bull run but the growth of the top coins are just limited. They might grow more but it will take more years of wait which makes the usual bitcoin halving cycle not enough. Then it is easier to invest in bitcoin, it is more reliable than most of the top altcoins and does not grow slower or faster than this group of coins. I don't see much point in choosing these altcoins over bitcoin. I just noticed that you're staff here in Bitcointalk. It feels good to have a response from people like you. I am still looking for coins that have the potential to grow at least x10 in the next bull run. Any projects you can recommend or coins that you are keeping an eye on?
I have projects that I follow closely and hope that they will give good growth in the future, but I never share my investments. I am convinced that every investor should analyze coins himself and make his choice solely on this data, not on the tips of other users. I can tell you that I am following AI coins and zk projects right now. |

Sure, let's all join hands with someone that has literally single post and the first post would be promoting a DEX. We could be rich right? What could go wrong right?   That Oscar Token smells like a ponzi scheme just like Xal0lex mentioned. It's that usual too good to be true scenario. That's right, it's shilling another ponzi scheme with promises of high earnings. Such tokens are issued in unreal numbers and each one promises unreal profits. And shillers like OP very rarely write more than 1 post here. Once again, I urge everyone to never believe promises of large interest payouts, especially if it requires locking up your valuable tokens for a long period of time. This most often leads to the fact that at the time of unlocking your coins, the value of tokens is already completely absent and all this time you were earning 50% air. |

If they are a bubble then their price should be declining not rising. Maybe this is true for the most altcoins, as we all know many of them are just scams. They can rise and pop like a bubble. There are people who cluelessly called Bitcoin and other legit coins a bubble just because they saw it dumping hard but the point is, these coins are still here and it's possible for them to recover and break their last times ATH's, so they are not really a bubble.
It's normal to experience a loss sometimes when investing in cryptocurrencies. Not everyday Christmas mate but as long as you are confident that you invest in a good crypto, just continue to HODL it and you will be just fine.
And how do you know if an investor is investing in a good cryptocurrency? What are the metrics of a good cryptocurrency that make it easy to hold. This is a rather vague characteristic for an altcoin, because the altcoin industry is built in such a way that some new token from the depths of coinmarketcap may be a better and more reliable investment than a coin that is at the top of the crypto ranking. |

Do you tend to check and verify if the partners some projects claim they have are actually real and authentic and aren't faked partnerships? Because scammers understand that most users would believe in a project if it has lucrative partnerships with big companies and projects so they simply just put logos of big companies and projects on their website just to show that they have big partnerships.
I say that because I have witnessed this, I was once checking out a new project and analyzing it, and I noticed that they have a lot of big tech companies as partners on their website but the reality was that those were just logos and they didn't have any of them as their partners.
This information is extremely difficult to verify. It will be enough to see which investors support the project. This information is much easier to check, you can go to the website of a well-known investment fund or a group of venture capitalists and look at their portfolio. This is the only reliable way to check whether this project is worthy of your attention or not, but trusting the logos of famous crypto companies on the website of another new altcoin is definitely not worth it. This is most often a fraud and a way to attract naive investors. |

USDC is also actively represented in the TRON network, and has been for quite some time. Only it has not had much effect on the growth of TRON itself. Maybe because USDC is not as popular for simple transfers as USDT? Although on DEXs USDC is also popular in various swaps. Competing networks are better, I agree, but there's obviously not less garbage there, especially in BSC network, where the number of scam tokens is fantastic, probably a record among all networks for the last 2 years.
I wasn't aware of that. It's nice to know there are other stablecoin alternatives that makes the TRON blockchain useful. I agree with BSC having lots of scam tokens in its platform. It's a lot worse than TRON itself. I guess that's because the BSC platform is directly tied to Binance exchange. It makes scammers' life easier as they could sell their scam tokens directly on the exchange for profit. I disagree. Just because someone creates a token in the BSC blockchain does not mean they now have access to a token listing on Binance. These are 2 unrelated things. Imagine if that's how it worked. Binance would have long ago turned into a pancakeswap-level exchange with a flood of garbage from low-value projects. In my opinion, the choice of BSC for coin creators is due to the fact that the network is widespread and this chain is extremely popular in the cryptocommunity, and the commissions there are lower than in ETH. |

Probably because many people associate NFTs with images. I've rarely seen NFTs containing chunks of text or audio files. Probably because many people prefer to see what they buy rather than read or listen to it. I remember there was even a little hype around NFT with famous tweets, but that hype quickly subsided and didn't get the proper exposure. Even the NFT, containing the very first tweet in history, has fallen in price many times over, as few people are interested.
Making NFTs out of tweets is ridiculous. After all, those same tweets are stored on centralized servers managed by Twitter. If the company goes down, so will the data stored on those servers. The Blockchain will only prove you had ownership of the NFT, but without the data/content, what's the use? NFT creators aren't even thinking of storing the content on decentralized cloud storage networks such as Arweave or IPFS. They're only thinking about making money in the fastest way possible. If this keeps up, don't expect NFTs to be taken seriously anytime soon. Who knows what the future holds for the industry? Just my opinion  Was it ever taken seriously? In my opinion, this industry was just a way to get rich from the beginning. The year 2021 solidified the purpose of the NFT industry, and NFT has also become synonymous with scam for many, as these pictures depreciate very quickly. Nothing good awaits any industry in cryptocurrencies until regulatory rules are in place there. Although it is all out of the concept of freedom and decentralization, but without regulation, industries like NFT will always be drowning in scams and manipulation. |

Возможно что-то и есть в тех факах, но узкозаточенная тема, подобная той, которую создал ОР, с моей точки зрения более продуктивна для пользователя с точки зрения затраченного времени на поиск ответа на нужный ему вопрос.
С моей "точки зрения" прежде, чем что-то брать из англоразделов желательно научиться пользоваться поиском по разделу. Может эта инфо уже присутствует в разделе. А не писать тут какие-то левые отмазки о продуктивности. И закончим на этом. |

У форума оказывается есть очень полезная на мой взгляд скрытая страница, которая позволяет вывести списком линки на все темы, которые создал тот или иной пользователь. I hope OP that you are right with your decision. Well, of course, I admit that many investors make money in hype projects just like with meme coins but have to be aware that not all have come to good results, sometimes it fails. I've tried joining this kind of investment in the past years, indeed but some of my investments also failed. I would tell you that it was too risky to invest in a project that we just rely on and hoping for hype in order to earn a profit, unlike that we know that it would really come like Bitcoin and ETH.
Such investments can hardly be called investments, I would call it gambling. We just bet, like in a casino, that the project will grow a lot and the investor will be able to earn a good profit in a short period of time. Real investing never involves such an approach and behavior. Everything there is based on analysis, fundamentals, charts and dry numbers. In gambling investments your chance is not even 50/50, rather 10-90 that you will lose, although it can be even lower. |

I am going to be super rich in a year just by investing an Oscar token at 50 percent APY that will be worth hundred dollars after a year
All investors are going to become rich when they buy something, but not everyone puts their plans into practice. The market may have a different opinion on this and what you want from the market, it is not going to do, this happens very often. What makes you think that all investors in oscar token will be paid that 50% APY? Such high returns are more like some kind of pyramid scheme, and your happy post is more like an attempt to schilling another shitcoin with loud promises and prospects. |
