1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: April 08, 2023, 05:30:40 PM
If the ban is lifted, it does not mean that investors will run to these old coins and start to frantically pump them. I expect that the lifting of the ban will not lead to the pumping of some old projects, it will lead to the fact that more teams will appear in this jurisdiction and present their new services and projects. Crypto industry has its own specifics, it is easier to make money on a new project than to try to revive an old one.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 08, 2023, 05:10:45 PM
There is no doubt that Elon Musk is one of the Dogecoin Whales, he and those people working on Twitter would have benefited greatly from these changes, this is pure market manipulation, it is even possible he bets in both directions before the logo was changed and after the logo was changed. Even a novice trader knows that when the logo was changed that the price is likely going to dump and this is one of the best short trades this year.

If it's so obvious, why do most people still fall into this trap and run to buy an asset after Musk did something with the logo. This is absurd. The coin didn't get any additional distribution, there were no new announcements or developments, someone just wanted to have fun and stick the badge where it didn't belong at all. People blame all their losses on Musk, but for some reason they still can't stop reacting to some of his next manipulations.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 08, 2023, 03:57:24 PM
It looks like many altcoins are already moving and are in significant gains this year after bitcoins' strong recovery in this year's first quarter. I also started to slowly accumulate some altcoins. Although what is happening this early strong crypto bounce does not guarantee a more upward movement in the next months. I still consider this year as a bear year or accumulating period as most call next year the highest probability of a bull run due to the bitcoin halving. But I can smell that this year will be better compared to last year.

I don't quite agree that many altcoins are rising and showing good growth. Altcoins are rather recovering, they only show growth for those who bought at the bottom. What about those who bought last year or in 2021? There is no growth for them, as the assets have not recovered even 50% of the values they had during the bull run. Still, most investors in the crypto market are still at an unrealized loss.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crew3 an effective tool to attract community members ? on: April 08, 2023, 03:55:13 PM
Me and a few friends have used it, and I find Crew3 to be a great platform for people with similar interests and interests to meet, share knowledge and experiences, and suggest activities. Fun activities to join together. Crew3 offers great features such as searching and connecting with the community, creating events and participating in existing events, as well as sharing information and helping each other. It is a useful tool in creating and maintaining connections in the community, especially in the current digital era, when location restrictions are no longer an issue. All in all, I think Crew3 is a great platform for those looking for a common community with a shared passionate interest.

I wonder what you're talking about? How can you share knowledge in CREW3, if there are tasks where you share your social networks to promote the project and perform various quests to get the appropriate ranks. This is not a forum of some kind. And how do you meet someone there, can you share your experience?
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 07, 2023, 06:58:24 PM
Metamask is becoming more and more feature-rich, transforming itself from a wallet into a multitasking machine. The question is whether this wallet will remain as secure as before or if hackers will have more opportunities to find vulnerabilities. Of course, I understand that the developers want to make their brainchild into something more than just a wallet, additionally attracting more and more attention to metamask, but nevertheless, I began to have more doubts that it will work perfectly and there will not be some data leakage.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of tokens like Uniswap, Pancakeswap, Sushiswap, Apeswap? on: April 07, 2023, 06:27:34 PM
I like the way Uniswap is developing, at some points its trading volume already exceeds that of the centralized exchanges. I fully support this development of decentralized exchanges. But at the same time I absolutely do not support DEXs like Pancakeswap. They are breeding grounds for scam and all sorts of fake tokens. We need to do something about it, otherwise with the abundance of such sites cryptocurrencies will continue to be associated with scam and distrust.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crew3 an effective tool to attract community members ? on: April 07, 2023, 05:39:09 PM
There are a lot of decent web3 platforms for promotion of your projects, there are dozens of them, it makes no sense to list them all. I don't know exactly what crew3's criteria are for deploying their quests on their site, but they often publish all sorts of large and well-known projects, such as for example SUI. If the project has no budget, no big investors, it is unlikely they can attract the community on such sites.
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion on Cardano on: April 07, 2023, 05:28:58 PM
Guys, I wanted to get your opinion on Cardano. I've heard a lot of good things about this cryptocurrency, I'd like to hear your opinion as well. Thanks.

Cardano is already a so-called blue chip in the world of crypto investing. You should not expect big x50-style profits from it anymore, but it is quite suitable for conservative investing, considering its historical returns and ROI. Right now the price is quite attractive to buy, there is a high probability that in the next bull run ADA can outperform its ATH again.

1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC is not safe on: April 04, 2023, 04:40:08 PM
I would not be surprised if in the near future, the share of stablecoins in the crypto market will fall dramatically, and many banks that cooperate with these crypto projects will either close or stop servicing accounts that have cash collateral on them altogether. The era of CBDCs, the dreaded state-controlled tokens, is coming. These are even worse than stablecoins, and have absolutely nothing to do with real cryptocurrencies. States and banks will push this garbage into the crypto industry in every way they can.

Stablecoins proved to be a "failed experiment".

Disagree. USDT has proven to be quite resilient, despite being buried many times, but it has survived all the bear markets and major cryptocurrency crashes with dignity.

They will eventually be replaced by CBDCs as governments push their agenda of a "Global Reset".

From CBDC will need to stay as far away as possible, because it is a parody of cryptocurrencies.

People should stay away from stablecoins after what happened with Terra's UST stablecoin and USDC + DAIq.

UST turned out to be a failed Stablecoin because its algorithmic model was questionable from the beginning. The USDC and DAI were in de-peg for only a few days. Unless you are a short-term speculator, you would barely notice this de-peg of the dollar.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 04, 2023, 04:34:40 PM
Someday Musk finish badly and have to answer to a court of law or pay a hefty fine. Well that's obvious market manipulation, especially since he is a big DOGE holder. When the SEC comes to him, will he also refer to his illness and that he didn't know what he was doing? It seems like he just bought this social network and decided to turn it into some kind of toy to satisfy his own needs and he doesn't care about the audience and investors.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What crypto porfolio trackers are people using? on: April 04, 2023, 03:52:39 PM
Excel spreadsheet? This is the past century, there are a huge number of services on the market, where you can conveniently track your portfolio of altcoins. You can use cryptocurrency market monitoring services like cryptorank, coingecko, coinmarketcap, etc. Or you can use specialized services for portfolio tracking, like Koinly, CoinTracker, etc. There are a lot of such services on the market and therefore you can always choose a service for any tasks or needs.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is crazy on: April 03, 2023, 06:20:14 PM
Something crazy is going on, I was watching some price predictions of my favorite altcoins on Youtube yesterday and I was a few videos about some women that claimed that God revealed to them that a certain amount of crypto projects will bring huge amount of money to those who invest in them, are you ready for this?

Shiba inu was predicted to reach 50$ per token, this woman said God revealed this price to her, another channel which is also a lady claimed that God said Shiba inu will be the new wealth transfer for people in few years to this time.

I read some comments and I saw how many people belief in this prophecy, has anyone seen something like this before. What do you believe?

Ha ha ha. What nonsense these Influencers publish in social networks, just to increase the activity of their accounts and increase the hype around these or those coins, for which they are paid. These bloggers are extremely corrupt and everything they advise should be divided by zero. The value of their predictions is zero and has nothing to do with reality. Tomorrow some fanatic will say that SHIB will soon overtake bitcoin in price and a crowd of hamsters will run to buy this token and provide the next market maker with additional income at the expense of new stupid newbies.
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto world without CEXs...How would it be? on: April 03, 2023, 06:11:55 PM
Although this is an unlikely scenario, but something tells me that centralized services will always be popular, whatever the weather on the crypto market. People themselves are very often lazy and do not want to manage their assets themselves, do not want to learn the basics of decentralization, it is easier for them to trust some third party to quickly solve all their problems and to make cryptocurrency transfer operations as easy and convenient as possible. People always choose convenience over security, otherwise centralized services would have disappeared long ago.
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are collapsing. Will Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies rise from here?? on: April 03, 2023, 06:07:33 PM
Recently bank like Credit Suisse and Silicon Valley bank are collapsing. People are switching their money to bitcoin. Is it the sign that more people are no longer trusting the bank and are moving toward to decentralized world?

Investing in bitcoin does not always mean that people have now moved to the side of decentralization. A great many bitcoin investors store their bitcoins in centralized services or custodial wallets. It's definitely not about decentralization, although their asset allows them to opt out of a third party. So far, centralization has very much dominated the crypto market, and that trend will only intensify over time. It would seem that over time people should learn to understand the full meaning of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin, but something is not going according to plan, and people are choosing convenience over decentralization and self-custody.

Cryptocurrency is risky but with additional presence of stable coins, a trader can easily convert most of his crypto assets to stable coins whenever there's bear in the market. Stable coins is safe during the period of bull season, and there's clear difference between USDC and USDT, because I've seen situations were they're classified as the same thing. Stable coins are general in the market with usage from top exchanges and countries. USDC is a stable coin but over the past months, we experiencing issues concerning the stable coin about inflation.

Stablecoins are useful in any market and at all times. Converting profits into stablecoins is not always wise, because some profits are better converted into fiat and withdrawn from the cryptocurrency sector, thereby diversifying your portfolio and creating a safety cushion. Although fiat money is constantly depreciating, keeping all your capital in cryptocurrencies is just as risky, so many traders constantly forget that their profits should sometimes be fixed in their real wallet, not just in a virtual one.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinions of future in Crypto with AI technology? on: April 03, 2023, 05:23:07 PM
AI is the biggest thing that we all faced in 2023 I think. With chatgpt it became everyone attention. I have seen lot of crypto projects that are marketing they are using AI technologies in their projects. So what do you think about this? Are they really using AI or is it for market themselves? Because I don't find anything about AI technologies that they are talking In their websites or whitepapers.

In fact, there are a lot of projects that use artificial intelligence in their descriptions and names, but in fact, they have nothing to do with the industry at all. If you saw something like this during the DeFi hype, you know what I mean. All projects listed on unknown exchanges, as well as all projects that do not have large investors in the form of funds should be ignored. These projects are created only for the quick enrichment of their creators.

1519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync Era Mainnet launch on: April 03, 2023, 06:14:07 AM
I've tried to do what was done to meet the requirements, but in my opinion the transactions here are the same and can even be said to be slow, then the fee is quite expensive for one transaction, I thought it would be cheaper, it turns out it's not much different from ETH.

It is expensive, because the network was attacked by bots, and the commissions do not go down even on weekends. Many people now, on the back of the success of Arbitrum caught the hysteria and rushed to perform all these activities. Videos on Zksync Era have flooded all over YouTube, Telegram is full of different guides. So it's not surprising that this network has been experiencing problems since the launch of Mainnet. Everyone is trying to get this drop, cheat farms are not sleeping either and contribute to the instability of the network.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What makes Binance stay strong despite all FUD ? on: April 02, 2023, 06:00:39 PM
Even the strongest crypto empire can suddenly collapse. We don't know exactly how Binance is really doing. Maybe they try to pretend that they are able to withstand all these attacks, but in fact everything there collapses like a house of cards. Binance can play this role till the end because if holders suddenly feel really threatened, the outflow of liquidity may destroy this fragile ecosystem and Binance will repeat the fate of FTX. I am not surprised by so many accusations towards Binance, for 5 years of their dominance they created so many different schemes, it all accumulated and accumulated, and then the bubble burst and it all came out at almost the same time.
