It's worth mentioning that SMF is a really old piece of software, dating back to the last century, or possibly around the turn of the new century, if my memory serves me right. No, SMF was already created in the 21st century. If you scroll to the bottom of the forum page, you will see the dates. The year of the first version of SMF software is listed there. No, mitzie is not a moderator at this time. By the way, any user can check the list of moderators at any time. So the simple fact that I've personally used these as currencies negates your claim that they aren't used outside of speculation.
 So you're trying to disprove my claim that the main purpose of all altcoins is speculation? That doesn't refute the fact I stated. It only confirms how you feel about these cryptocurrencies. I won't argue that the cryptocurrencies you listed are used as a means of payment, but in the context of all altcoins it looks more like an exception to the rule than a refutation of a fact. There are hundreds of thousands of altcoins in the world and their main function is speculation. There are several dozens of altcoins that can be used as a means of payment, but against the background of the total number of issued altcoins it is a drop in the ocean. P.S. In general, we will remain each with our own opinion. |

There's a long road ahead before crypto/Blockchain tech becomes mature enough for mainstream use. Regulations are a way to help bring confidence into crypto assets from investors and traders alike. They're inevitable, especially when governments want a "piece of the pie". I know some countries have turned hostile against crypto/Blockchain tech due to the benefits it provides to everyday people. But not all of them are doing this. The most recent country to attack crypto is the United States. Actions from the SEC (a US government agency) will make crypto exchanges migrate to other countries with a softer approach towards crypto/Blockchain tech. That doesn't mean the industry will die, though. What it means is that the US will be left behind in the dust, while other countries "eat its cake". As you've said before, we're still in the early days of crypto adoption. Just keep buying and holding prominent cryptocurrencies to obtain great results in the future. Mass adoption won't happen until regulators take over the entire industry and all supposedly decentralized protocols cooperate with regulators and governments. Until the entire industry is centralized, governments will not rest and will raid the industry, whether it's a service or cryptocurrency. A lot of decentralized and anonymous services have disappeared from the industry lately, some close down and then reopen, but with changed rules. KYC is becoming more and more embedded in the lives of crypto users. |

LTC really disappointed me a long time ago, I was betting that this coin will meet a similar fate to Bitcoin because it is almost the oldest coin after Bitcoin, and it also has other great advantages such as lack of supply, speed, and low fees.
Unfortunately, I don't see a great future for her.
In the crypto industry, a coin with huge commissions can be 100 times more popular than a coin with about zero commissions. A paradox? More like the peculiarities of the crypto environment. It doesn't matter what a coin is, it's its distribution that matters. Not even Tether (USDT) is safe.
However, look at how the other known stablecoins behaved compared to USDT. USDT performed better than other coins during the market crash of 2022 and during the de-peg of USDC in 2023. No matter how they bury it, it shows in practice that it is the best, even better than DAI, which has been a complete disappointment this year. USDT proves once again that it is much more reliable than other stablecoins, no matter what great models they have for securing their reserves. |

Blur's current can be said to be one of the leading markets for NFT, they have a good approach to product communication and strategies to attract users, but Opensea cannot be ignored when some speculation about future Airdrop, I think users will come back again to use with it. Which airdops are you referring to? OpenSea only beats Blur in fame right now. Say, well-known global brands and people are more likely to use OpenSea to promote their collections than other platforms. In terms of custom collections and commission policy, Blur is, in my opinion, better than OpenSea. |
