1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Flokipepe #FPP on: May 16, 2023, 05:50:16 PM
Just another meme coin that's made maybe for just around 5 minutes through a dev that's selling a service about how they're quick in making altcoin of yours.

Another shitcoin that took the name of famous and expensive projects and is trying to make money on this nothing. I recently encountered a post on a forum that such memcoins can be created in less than a minute. No wonder that such coins grow like mushrooms after the rain. Their creators are so lazy that they pick up names for their projects from already existing ones Cheesy
Yes, that's true that these shit/meme coins can be made within a few minutes. Those are being offered by some devs that are looking for quick money. I've seen those offers and that's why every time I see a post like this, that's the first thing that I've been thinking of. Like that, they've just bought it from a dev that offers this type of service. As we can see, it's all about everything and even the names are just barely named after those projects that have been successful. Well, this is just one from the many that we're going to see so we should brace ourselves as many of them coming.

Along with the fever for these meme coins, which by the way are clogging up the blockchain and raising commissions, there is also fever for creating BRC-20 tokens in various blockchains. First bitcoin, now DOGE. All this puts a shadow over the cryptocurrency industry itself and in the eyes of many people, especially those who are just getting acquainted with this field, it all looks like dabbling and some kind of dubious scam. All these shitty tokens do not bring anything useful to the industry, but only show it from the negative side.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on potential portfolio on: May 16, 2023, 05:35:16 PM
An odd, in my opinion, choice of altcoins for the purpose, which is to reasonably maximize profits. All of these coins have already increased and almost all are in the top 50 of the cryptocurrency rankings. What are you counting on? They aren't going to yield much profit anymore. A few old and large projects in your portfolio is good, but it also wouldn't hurt to have a few young projects, and you don't have any. What's the point of buying coins of the same weight class?

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any suggestions for young promising projects?

If you are interested in the tickers of specific projects, I, alas, will not give them to you. The reason is that everyone should choose projects on the basis of their own research, not because someone on the Internet suggested it and brought ready-made analytics. Finding promising coins takes a lot of time, so I don't want to just share it with everyone. It's not because I'm greedy, but because then you, or anyone else, might be motivated to do your own research. It will come in handy in the future, I've been through it myself, I can say with confidence.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MicroCap buying "technique" !!??!! on: May 16, 2023, 04:34:51 PM
99% of my holdings are Top100 coins but I decided for the first time to invest some of my profit into Rejuve.ai as a very long shot.

Since I bought it's dropped by 50%  ...... so my question is when you buy a microcap moonshot do you place a stop loss to try and get it cheaper if the price drops significantly or do you simply buy and hold in the hope/belief it will make significant gains come the bull run.

I personally do not, because I always buy long term. Stop Losses are for traders, not investors. Don't forget that the shorter the timeframe, the higher the volatility. The shorter the timeframe, the more likely your stop loss will trigger. Microcaps are good over the distance, that's when you get the maximum profit, I don't see the point in buying a microcap with a time frame of, say, 3 months, especially not in a bull market.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PEPE AI Scamcoin ? on: May 16, 2023, 03:57:37 PM
Is the PEPE AI scamcoin or another memecoin ?

Anything created after April 18 with the prefix PEPE in its name is already a potential scamcoin. All these variations on a promoted token serve only one purpose, to lure you into another project to enrich its developer. Right now, everyone has FOMO and many are looking for similar projects to try to make money the way they could have made money with PEPE if they had bought those tokens in the beginning. That's what the creators of crap like PEPE AI are counting on.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PEPE time to buy NOW? on: May 16, 2023, 03:54:37 PM
The PEPE  is down to 0.000001 value  now is good time to buy yes?Huh?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pepe/

Binance aproves PEPE as a good oportunity.11.5
Elon musk made a Tweet about PEPE 10.5

5000% PROFIT IN MAY POSSIBLE TO ALL ?

It's too late now. Just like it was too late to buy SHIB at the end of 2021. Understand one thing, you have to buy a coin when hardly anyone knows about it and sell it completely at the moment when everyone is talking about it. That's a strong signal to sell. With many investors it's the opposite, they start buying when the coin's hype has gone down. Memcoins don't go up forever, they all have their peak. By buying coins now, you are providing liquidity to all those who are now fixing their profits. They will leave with valuable cryptocurrencies like USDT, ETH, and you will be left with PEPE, which will get cheaper like SHIB.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: May 15, 2023, 06:02:56 PM
I won't pick any of the three Altcoins as promising because all the 3 are already big projects with a market cap in Billions of Dollars, to me a promising project should be a low market-cap project that has the potential of returning 20X to 100X for investors, to me Ethereum can't give more than 5X from the current value which will give it a price of $10,000 and this is a lot of money for big accounts but for a small account you need to look for low market-cap projects that can return 10X minimum

This is a good plan, but it is worth keeping in mind that low capitalization is not a metric for future growth. Most altcoins die with small capitalization and when an investor thinks that at the moment the project has small capitalization and that is a reason to buy, in fact, it was the peak capitalization of this project and in the future it will only decrease until the project dies completely. It is also important to consider the circulating supply of the coin, as well as the support of the major players and exchanges.

1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 15, 2023, 03:09:29 PM
I was joining bounty from year 2017 till present i have experience joining different signature and social media campaign with good  earnings and there are also campaigns that is not profitable  and sometimes there are campaign that doesn't pay, because the project does not reach the hard cap when they launch ICO, most of the projects pays token that is not listed on exchange and we need to wait a months or maybe a year before we can sell our tokens and get the profit and sometimes we also buy tokens from the good projects that we promote and hold, can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investors patience?

Bounty is dead and it makes absolutely no sense. I do not understand why people still participate in this outdated and inefficient form of getting tokens. All activity has long gone far beyond the forum and it spreads a little differently, through early use of networks, ambassadorship, testing of test networks, participation in discord, etc.

Не совсем правильно составлен опрос. Не хватает, по моему мнению, пункта "Принимал участие в СВО, демобилизовался". Есть же такие люди (и их немало), которые отвоевали, как бы, и вернулись целыми и невредимыми.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: May 15, 2023, 01:53:16 PM
All of the NFTs you know and love today, have their data stored their on centralized servers (images, video, etc). What is only stored on the Blockchain is just the properties of the NFT itself. While you're basically the "owner" of the NFT, you could lose technically lose it if the centralized server hosting the content of the NFT goes down.

So, what's the point of investing in NFTs if they can disappear in an instant? Unless all of the content is stored on the Blockchain itself, I don't see how NFTs will be able to last forever. Are there already solutions in the works that I'm not aware of? Please enlighten me on this. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Ha ha. Good point, proving once again the absolute impracticality and ineffectiveness of buying NFTs as some form of digital art, and with an exorbitantly high price tag. Investing in NFT is suitable only for speculation, but not for collecting or anything else. Art is eternal, but these chitcoins are fleeting. As the recent situation has shown, NFTs can only effectively destroy entire ecosystems, and they will never be attractive for investment.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins ? on: May 15, 2023, 10:37:38 AM
Memcoins is a scam. Sluggish scam, because sooner or later the coin will die, because it has no utility, and a hype never lasts forever. Memcoins are good for the earnings of their creators, are there many people who have made a lot of money from memcoins? For example I know enough people who lost money on them. Memcoins are such a phenomenon of the crypto industry, created in a couple of minutes, and can raise a billion dollars in capitalization in less than a month. Fantastic. For short-term speculation, it's a viable tool, but I don't recommend anyone to hold them in the long term.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats Your Favourite Meme Coins? on: May 15, 2023, 09:55:26 AM
I noticed that there is a hysteria around meme coins on this forum. I remember 2021, when there was a hype around SHIB, there was something similar, a lot of discussion about coins. My favorite meme coin is that meme coin which hasn't been released yet. This way there is one less scam on the market Cheesy

I bought some BONK once and already seem to regret it. Don't break your own rules, even if everyone around you is trying to convince you otherwise. There's not enough profit for all investors, no matter how successful the meme coin is.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate Meme Coin is Here Sheep coin Launching soon on: May 15, 2023, 09:00:42 AM
Another useless garbage that was delivered to the forum. The creators of this miracle on their website even wrote the reason for the creation of this shitcoin. The rise of Pepe. It is stated on their home page (not direct text). Such projects should never be considered for investment, because they appear purely on the excitement of a project and try to attract at least part of the audience while memcoin is extremely relevant. Such projects, as a rule, die very quickly. Don't think that this is a new Pepe, because Pepe grew for a reason, and Pepe did not offer anything or advertise anywhere, it just appeared out of nowhere and immediately began to grow. If some memcoin behaves differently, then it will never repeat the fate of the one it is trying to copy or imitate. Remember this.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New trend PEPE ? Seems many projects Launching with PEPE Names. on: May 15, 2023, 08:26:00 AM
Have you observed the significant number of project launches featuring the name "PEPE"? If you check the recently added list on CoinMarketCap, you'll notice that approximately 90% of the project names include "pepe." Lately, meme coins have been experiencing a remarkable surge in market capitalization. What are your thoughts on meme coins and the prevailing trend of pepe-related projects? Personally, I wasn't initially a fan of meme coins, but it appears that they have gained considerable hype. I'm curious to know your opinion on meme coins as well. Have you invested in any of them?

I ran across various DEXs and counted about 40 tokens containing the word PEPE or PEP. Most of these coins have capitalizations ranging from $10,000 to a few hundred thousand dollars. Usually such coins grow on the first day after listing, then the graph tends down to infinity. Such coins have no bottom and they are created every day in order to get a piece of hype on the loud name and earn on naive hamsters.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulating supply matters to you? on: May 15, 2023, 07:26:20 AM
Circulating supply does matter to some extent when I'm considering investing in a project, but it's not the only factor. A fair percentage of the max supply in circulation really depends on the project, its stage of development, and its overall potential. If a project has high supply coin, then likely the value of each coin would be very less. If the supply goes high all of the sudden, this will indeed crash the price of the coin. If a coin has very low supply, it might raise some concerns, because very likely the developers are using the low supply to manipulate the market.  The main thins is, you should dig deeper into the project's tokenomics, roadmap, and see how the team plans to distribute the coins in the market. If the project has a killer usecase, I doubt supply would  be an issue.

Right, it's also worth paying attention to the distribution of supply among categories of investors. If the developers and main investors hold the bulk of the supply, then such a coin can easily make a dump, especially if the timing of unlocking such coins is not that far from the listing date of that project on the exchange. If most of the coins are blocked, however, it is worth calculating the FDV parameter to understand how much money the project will need to raise when the supply on the market increases.

1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Blur will overtake Opensea on: May 14, 2023, 07:16:43 PM
Opensea did nothing wrong and never scammed anyone and a legit place, and I still think that it will be considered the market leader when people lose all the hype for Blur, but just because they are legit, doesn't mean opensea never had any scammers in it, you could create NFT and sell it there today, and sell it for millions, and you could take it and leave and never follow up on the project, opensea can't do anything about it. They are not responsible for that, and people would still blame them.

OpenSea supported large-scale wash trading, organized insider trading, and 80% of the NFTs that were added to the platform's listing turned out to be scam, plagiarized, or stolen projects. It would be too naive to believe that OpenSea did not use any of these schemes for personal enrichment. It is just as naive as to believe that bank owners are not scamming anyone and are running their business completely honestly, just like cryptocurrency exchanges. Cryptocurrencies are an ideal place for all kinds of financial schemes, and when someone owns the largest marketplace, where hundreds of millions of dollars are circulating, he will certainly use it for his own selfish purposes, as one of the managers of this marketplace did.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investor lose billionaire opportunity -Damien Slash lost it over MEME coin SHIBA on: May 14, 2023, 06:51:53 PM
Every project is unique, and success is not guaranteed.

I cannot support this opinion because not every project is unique. A lot of projects in the crypto industry are copies of well-known projects and do not add anything new to the already existing concept. Simply put, they are clones, and in some cases they are clones of clones. Such projects on the market in the majority. The most quantity of clones accounts for ETH and BTC, as they are the most popular coins, there is always a hype around them. As you know, where there is a hype, there always appear a lot of clones.
