This question can only be answered by global moderators and administrators. This is their prerogative. If I'm not mistaken, all the punishment options you listed are still in effect. By the way, there are also temporary bans, which no one canceled.

You mean on the forum on the engine epochtalk? So on this forum the same situation and for a very long time. No one paid attention to it, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think it's a bug. Otherwise theymos would have fixed it long ago.
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MultiversX - Thoughts? on: March 26, 2023, 01:07:14 PM
Have just started investing in MultiverseX (EGLD) which was formally known as Elrond.

Tokenomics are great with a circulating supply of 25 million and total supply of only 31 million its not far off Bitcoin in terms of how scarce it is.

It is not a project I hear too much about and only stumbled upon it a few days ago.

Just wondering if there is much interest on this forum and for those who know a thing or two about it what can we expect next bull run?

$1000 seems to be the average prediction which would give us a 24x return.

What? What $1,000, what are you talking about? At the expense of what will be the growth, and even in 2 times higher than the previous ATH, even the top altcoins do not always grow so dramatically. Now the project has a billion dollars capitalization and circulating supply of almost 100%, to attract the growth of x24, calculate for yourself, how much should attract the project. Given that the hype on metaverses has already died down, you have to dream that this project crawled at least to its ATH, and here already some dreams about 24x. That's not going to happen.
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulating supply matters to you? on: March 26, 2023, 12:32:22 PM
What is the fair percentage of a total max supply that are in circulation that can make you invest in a project? It is fine to avoid a project that has low circulating supply? Why? What about if the project is a brand new project and the use case is killing it?

In order to invest in a project, the circulating supply should contain as few coins of the main investors as possible, if we are talking about new projects. When the price is at the bottom and the circulating supply consists mainly of speculators' and public investors' coins, this is a good sign, because such projects, having a small supply grow in price very quickly.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: March 26, 2023, 12:08:13 PM
Hmm, it seems I have a different understanding of this; I'll recheck later. So based on my experience, before altcoins soar high, it's always bitcoin's price that increases first, and then most people's attention will be fixed on bitcoin and trading volume will be increasing significantly. This will increase the bitcoin dominance score and make the altcoin prices go down because there's less demand for altcoins and they all go to BTC. After BTC reaches its ATH or new ATH, people start to sell their BTC and turn their investment to the altcoins in order to buy at the lower price and sell at the higher price. This is when the BTC dominance score started to decrease.

You are describing the classic behavior of bitcoin and altcoins in the crypto market. This is often the case. Investors understand that it becomes much harder to pump bitcoin and they transfer their funds into altcoins, then, when bitcoin goes into a correction, the transfer of assets continues into bitcoin again and this can be repeated several times until the bull run itself loses its strength and the market goes into a global bearish stage. Sometimes, when bitcoin already starts to go into a global correction, some altcoins can still show crazy growth, as was the case, for example, in 2018.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ordinals - NFTs on Bitcoin network on: March 26, 2023, 11:42:57 AM
Negatively, this NFT spam is clearly not good for bitcoin's blockchain and mempools. Imagine another bullrun when bitcoin will try to break through its ATH. In 2021, the fees were super high, on the order of 200 satoshi per byte. Now add to this hype the NFT issue, the mempools will be overflowing and bitcoin transfer fees will fly into space and will be comparable in price to ETH smart contracts interaction fees.
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we build a strong community of supporters for crypto projects ? on: March 26, 2023, 11:23:56 AM
The greatest strengths of a project that will attract a large community are, among other things, initiatives. Initiatives before the project launch and after the project launch. Discussion of some successful retrotrope or testnet sometimes promotes the project better than custom advertising in all sorts of social networks and forums. If a project allocates a large allocation to initiatives and community, there will be a big hype and community around such projects.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking advice needed on: March 25, 2023, 02:08:09 PM
Staking risk is based on the value at which you bought the staked coins and what the value will be at the end of the staking cycle,  but because of the unpredictability and unsustainability of the market value of most altcoins staking them has become less profiting.

I have never dived into staking before but with my knowledge of the altcoin market, I learned to stay away from auctions most especially staking or farming them.

Staking is more or less justified when you buy coins at a public sale and the Launchpad prompts you to put your blocked coins into the staking. Then you get some benefit out of waiting to unlock your coins, and you're not tied to a price, because you can't do anything with your coins because they aren't available to you, either way, whether the price goes up or down.
1553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 25, 2023, 01:18:17 PM
I am wondering what the fate of projects like Volt inu, Baby Doge and other meme coins would have been if Elon Musk never supported Doge coin, would Shiba inu ever made it to top 20? What would have happen to meme coins? Will there ever be any if Elon never existed?

Dogecoin used to be in the top 10 without any involvement of Ilon Musk, for example in 2016 Dogecoin was on the top 5 in the cryptocurrency ranking. Dogecoin certainly caught a hype after Musk started promoting it, and the only thing it affected was the price of DOGE. I highly doubt that without Musk the price would have reached 73 cents. All the other meme coins, DOGE wannabes, they would never have had that liquidity had they not been promoted by influencers.
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: March 25, 2023, 12:45:02 PM
There are times in the market when all the money overflows into bitcoin and only bitcoin grows, and altcoins take a back seat. That's why at such moments you don't see the usual growth, now it is bitcoin bullrun, when money flows from different markets into bitcoin. There are also altcoin bullruns when altcoins are growing the most and bitcoin, on the contrary, is falling in value.
1555  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism Vs Scam on: March 25, 2023, 12:41:21 PM
Base on the answer you gave above, if I scam someone and come out publicly to attest that I really scammed and yet not remorseful about it, will I be banned?

I highly doubt you (or anyone else) will get banned for that. Fraud is not moderated at all. So on what grounds are you going to get banned? I may be wrong, but I honestly don't remember a single instance of a user getting banned specifically for scamming the forum.
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks soon on: March 25, 2023, 11:42:05 AM
"in just a few years, a younger generation of financial services users are going to into a bank and gain access to create ☑️ credit products, savings accounts and investments that can host both crypto and fiat assets. In fact, the inroads that will allow for all of this to happen are already breaking ground.
...
Consumers will soon define a “full service” bank as one that offers financial services in both crypto and fiat. The time to start acquiring the necessary tools of the crypto banking trade is right now. The world need it.👌Banks need to start adapting or get left behind. So what do we all think about this

Article: https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-banks-are-going-to-swallow-fiat-banks-in-3-years-or-even-less

If that happens, don't expect crypto banks to be centralized and non-custodial. No one will allow full control of their money. Such crypto banks will become fully centralized and custodial because they need control over their customers' money. If there is no control and full freedom of action and decentralization is implied, there will be no replacement, as the banking sector and governments are not interested in such libertarian views. Only control, only centralization.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future is looking good for P2e games on: March 25, 2023, 11:26:11 AM
The future of p2e has already been discussed here many times and my opinion is the constant. As long as people will come to such business models solely to make money, the vitality of such projects will be negligible and they will constantly experience problems with inflation or liquidity. People don't want to support the internal economy, they don't want to participate in the development of gaming communities, they want to come and snatch a piece of liquidity and that's it. What kind of p2e development can we talk about with that kind of attitude people have towards these projects? P2E needs to be radically redesigned, do vesting, do linear unlocking of tokens, retain part of the earnings in favor of the project treasury, then these projects will at least somehow live and develop.

Closing thoughts

To summarize, while the recent occurrences involving Silvergate, Silicon Valley Bank, and Signature Bank are worrisome, they are not reflective of the banking sector as a whole. Banks are subject to stringent laws and security requirements aimed to protect consumer assets. But, there is always the possibility of loss or theft, so it is critical to select a reputable bank and examine various types of investing to diversify your portfolio, like converting your assets into crypto and securing your funds in a crypto exchange.

At the moment, FMCPAY is running KYC Event which gives huge rewards in FMC Tokens. For more details, please visit: Click here.

Keeping money in the exchange? What kind of nonsense is that? Cryptocurrencies are designed for people to store them in their wallets, not in banks and exchanges. What you are suggesting is completely against the very idea and concept of cryptocurrencies. For secure storage, choose your bank or exchange? What's wrong with hardware wallets, why are people suddenly constantly trying to impose these outdated ideas of custodial and centralization, that your money has to be carried somewhere in order to keep it. You don't have to carry them anywhere, you just have to buy a good wallet, work through the mnemonics, and that's it, your money is always with you, without the involvement of third parties.
1559  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism Vs Scam on: March 24, 2023, 07:54:05 PM
Plagiarism can always be checked by forum staff using specialized services, or users who report cases of plagiarism always confirm the plagiarism with links to the sources. In this way plagiarism is provable. With the facts of fraud is quite different. To confirm the fact of fraud we need to investigate many factors, no one from the staff will do this. Plus, there is the possibility of staff interest in a particular investigation. That is why fraud is not moderated on the forum.

Again, posts moved to trashcan is still counts. That's why you see 1 post on that profile and 0 activity.

Do you want, let's check. Write in any topic in the Russian section of the post with any text, then I'll delete it to the trashcan. Thus, we'll check whether the posts, which are moved to the trashcan, are counted in activity or not. And we'll close this question. You can choose any topic, or I can give you a link to any topic, as you want. Remember your post count before you write your post.
