1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: July 03, 2023, 08:11:59 AM
I am dropping it here because it is just for information to all the users. Mostly for those who not heard the return of Terra Luna. Terra Luna a token in the Cryptocurrency Ecosystem collapsed last year May and the co founders were jailed, the co founder was given 4 month jail term. In the month of April, the programmers came up with new idea to relaunched the coin and they call themselves  “Six Samurai." The rebranded name is "Terra Classic"
Six Samurai: Anonymous Developers Seek to Revive Terra Classic Ecosystem

Scam happened, the coin bankrupted many investors, CEO turned out to be a crook who hid from the authorities for some time, but the community is still discussing the possible return of Terra Luna. What's wrong with you guys? It's time to forget about this crap and switch your attention to some worthy projects that have value and reputation in the community. LUNA has neither of these things, and you are still waiting for some mythical revival, like the phoenix from the ashes.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: July 02, 2023, 06:50:14 PM
If you look at the chart, BCH is currently experiencing a significant decline. This is not surprising as BCH is one of the big coins in recent years. Currently their trading volume has fallen by 50% which indicates that their prices are deliberately inflated by certain parties.

And if you look at the round-the-clock charts, you can see that BCH is still way below their ATH. And I don't think BCH is still worth watching if it hasn't touched $500.

Now BCH is interesting only for short-term investors, in the long term BCH is of little interest to anyone, because of its incessant bearish trend and the fact that the price is constantly tending to decrease. Prices of 2017, most likely, we will never see. In the long run, holding such coins is extremely inefficient.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best NFT marketplaces? on: July 02, 2023, 06:33:30 PM
Besides OpenSea and Rarible, do you know of any other NFT marketplaces that are worth exploring? I'm looking for a place where I could find quality NFTs that are worth the long-term investment. ETH-based marketplaces would be fine, as long as there nothing Solana-based. Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

If we are talking about decentralized marketplaces, then of course we should pay attention to Magic Eden and Blur. In my opinion, these are the top NFT marketplaces right now. Magic Eden, mainly focuses on Solana blockchain, and Solana blockchain just recently surpassed Ethereum blockchain in terms of trading volumes on the NFT marketplace. These are the marketplaces I recommend paying attention to.

NFT should not be considered as a long-term investment, so it is better to refrain from such purchases, almost all NFT in the long run do not grow in price, but decline, pay attention to this sad statistic.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin for bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 06:08:34 PM
The most important thing is that they do not try to organize all this on the bitcoin blockchain, which can somehow handle bitcoin itself, but not enough to process some stablecoin with silly pictures to finally become an unworkable system. Bitcoin's blockchain is too slow and has big scalability issues. I'm sure value transfer in these stablecoins will be just as expensive, slow and unprofitable and people will prefer to move to other networks somewhere else.
1045  Other / Meta / Re: [LOG] The ranked up members - Congratulations! on: July 02, 2023, 06:04:26 PM
The logs and chart have been updated. I also published the third part of the logs in a separate post because there are already too many Sr. Members on the main page of this thread.

BitcoinPenny, RickDeckard, dragonvslinux and Upgrade00 earned a lot of merit and now own over 2000 merits.
FatFork, Julien_Olynpic and Xal0lex who are active on Croatian and Russian local boards respectively have also crossed this threshold.
Bravo! Cool

I would like to make some corrections to your list. The fact is that I have never written in the Croatian local board. But I recently reached the 2,000 merit mark, that's right.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: July 02, 2023, 01:07:31 PM
Invest according to your plan - if you want to be a long-term holder, then you should be able to safely buy it now. Dollar Cost Averaging [DCA] - that's what you need to think about if you want to do entry. If you're in doubt - then don't do an all-budget entry but consider DCA.

ETH is one of the best performing altcoins – but also consider diversifying even if you are optimistic about the future. So far I haven't bought ETH - but it would be nice to also have it in my long term investment portfolio.

ETH is a good buy, many consider it as a long-term hold. I bought ETH for my portfolio, and I've already applied the DCA method to it several times. But from my investment experience, I can say that other altcoins don't really benefit from this tactic. Many altcoins, especially those at the top of the rankings, do not have enough investment efficiency to constantly invest portions of money in them, thereby averaging their average purchase price.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or not? BTC investors need to rethink their strategy as on: July 02, 2023, 12:27:05 PM
Why would a bitcoin holder reconsider something based on some short-term data? A long-term bitcoin holder never looks at such news because his strategy is designed for many years and a lot of good and bad things can happen during that time. If he revises his strategy on every event, he will turn from a bitcoin holder into a regular trader who takes losses. A real Bitcoin Holder will not revise his strategy even if Bitcoin crashes threefold right now. Let traders and short-term investors do that, it matters much more to them.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: July 02, 2023, 11:45:26 AM
I don't want to ruin your expectations, but what makes you think the 2024/25 season will be bullish? Where does that analytics come from? I see a lot of people talking about this date and preparing themselves to profit. It will be painful if all this crowd is fooled and their expectations are not met. The market often plays against the expectations of the majority. Do you have some kind of plan in case the bull run doesn't come in 24/25 or are you all built on just believing in a good future?
It's largely due to Bitcoin's historic post-halving surge and the swell in global crypto uptake. But let's keep things real: patterns offer insights but don't etch the future. Crypto, a worldwide decentralized market, sways to the rhythm of many drums, including geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, tech breakthroughs, and market mood.

Investors eying the 2024/25 bull run alone might face a sticky situation. Astute investors spread their risk and brace for every scenario.

I agree with you that the past does not determine the future. All I said was my assumption that if the market goes bull run, many of the top altcoins will go up as well, and maybe update their ATHs. I can't predict exactly when that will happen right now. Many are sure it will be in 24/25, but what if the market fools everyone and it happens in 29/30? You have to be prepared for that too, you are right, but not everyone will psychologically be able to sit around with big losses, lose time and no income for that long. Many will panic and sell their coins at a big discount because they were not prepared for such a scenario.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold-Backed cryptocurrency with Passive Income on: July 02, 2023, 11:43:02 AM
This happens very rarely. If you initially had no budget to launch it on a well-known exchange, it is unlikely that this budget will appear in the future. I can not remember a single well-known project, which would have started its path, first with DEX of the same level as pancake, and then got a listing on binans, kukoin, etc.
Oh I think theres a lot out there started with dex like pancake, and uniswap got started with dex. Especially some memecoins or some airdrop retro projects with literally have potential or honestly speaking got some monster volume. Its all about huge volume. Right now, there are potential projects that are gonna list with the likes of Binance with no charge. Ive been staying on dex mostly so I knew which one is started there and suddenly listed on big cex. Mask, people, shiba, pepe, bkex, yfi, comp, ape, crv and many more. These are highly unknown before and only lurking on dex. So how come it rarely happened. These projects rarely pay off listing fee and only listed by cex on their own accord. Want some potential listing insight? You heard of pendle finance? Not listed on major cex but only on dexes. Im not gonna suprise, one day Binance will list and other big ones. Its not just about how they start but how impactful they leave marks on community. Thats how hype and potential projects on dex become a cex aces.

I agree, there are some projects which start their way on DEX and end their way on Binance. For example, PEPE project made such way just recently and it took only 1 month to do it. This is an incredible result. We are talking about individual cases that break the standard perceptions, but if you look at the whole situation, many projects that start their way on DEX, they end up there, or go to CEXs, which are little-known compared to those CEXs that we are used to hearing about.

В общем, это кошелёк не для «конченых потребителей», а, скорее, для тех, кто готов развивать сеть.

"Конченых потребителей"? Оригинально Smiley

Наступило 01.07.2023. А значит пришло время мне, как и обещал, отчитаться о дивидендах ! Smiley

2024/25 will be my first bull run and I have been patiently buying and holding for over a year now.

Just wondering for those who were in the last bull run what it was like and how fast prices pump during the peak bull times?

Any advice on how to prepare when it comes to being ready to take profit?

1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming vs Staking on: June 30, 2023, 06:15:53 PM
I've came across "yield farming" which looks quite similar to staking. You basically go on a "hunt" for "De-Fi" platforms which offer the best rates for your stablecoin (or token) holdings. This is done in a non-custodial manner through the use of smart contracts. On staking, I can basically "delegate" my coins to a validator and earn daily income.

What I want to know is if "yield farming" is better than staking. An overview of the advantages/disadvantages between the two would be nice. Any clarifications would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

In my opinion, staking is more reliable when it comes to staking known coins. Yield farming is often accompanied by earning new tokens by delegating your valuable tokens, such as ETH. Whether those new tokens that are given to you as rewards will have any value is a big question, plus those tokens are often hard to sell due to lack of liquidity or they have high slippage. I would choose staking.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: June 30, 2023, 05:57:45 PM
Binance's native blockchain token (BNB) experienced a dip in price after the SEC fiasco. The exchange is facing heavy pressure by the US government regulatory agency. If Binance wins a lawsuit against the SEC, BNB's price could go all the way to the moon in an instant. But if it loses, BNB could experience new lows until it goes below the "triple digits".

I'm wondering if now is the good time to buy BNB or should I wait a little bit more? The crypto market is still bearish, so we should expect further pressure against an altcoin like BNB in the short term. Who knows if BNB will reach higher prices in the future? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

BNB is unlikely to fall below $200, unless there will be some serious events with Binance, which will contribute to the decrease in the rate and prosecution of the exchange by the regulators. In my opinion, such events are unlikely. Right now the price is not so high to invest in the long term. I think in 2-3 years, the price of BNB may reach $1,000 and bring a few hundred percent return from the current marks.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: June 30, 2023, 05:13:12 PM
6. BCH is not where near it's all-time of $2940 high back in 2017. While most coins like Bitcoin and ETH are above their all times of 2017 ($20K) and 2018 ($1,200) respectively, Bitcoin cash instead continued to plumate to $231 where it is today

It should be somewhere $4k at the least if it followed the bull cycles. If this is not a dead coin to you, Accardo, then I don't know what is.

Unfortunately, not all coins, even the most famous ones such as TRON, Ripple, have the ability to update or reach their former ATH. In 2017, there were a lot of speculative spikes that sent prices sky high, very high. BCH is just a prime example where there was a liquidity spillover from bitcoin to BCH and then back again. I don't think we will ever see BCH that expensive again.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold-Backed cryptocurrency with Passive Income on: June 30, 2023, 05:10:42 PM
So why are they so often concentrated on the PancakeSwap exchange? It's very simple, because of the ease of listing on this platform, anyone can place their coin there and completely anonymously. Perfect conditions for scammers of all kinds.
Some projects that are startup are really gonna depend on dex like pancakeswap since the payment for cex is so high and expensive. You are right that mostly project can easily list there so as to other dexes on other chain. Since its a dex, a decentralized one format. If theres too much restriction or requirement we cant call it decentralized like big cex are doing upon listing. I may not comfortable with the project he have but he got a point about pancakeswap. No dex on bsc can match this, and it pretty well known on the altcoin ecosystem which I am aware too. Ive been using it eversince so I knew it is the top dex for bsc and its pretty popular even its swarmed by scammers.

It is also worth bearing in mind that if a project originally appeared on DEX at the same level as pancake, it is unlikely it will be further traded on the top centralized services. This happens very rarely. If you initially had no budget to launch it on a well-known exchange, it is unlikely that this budget will appear in the future. I can not remember a single well-known project, which would have started its path, first with DEX of the same level as pancake, and then got a listing on binans, kukoin, etc.
