9041  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Quantos merits faltam para você subir de rank? on: March 03, 2020, 04:24:04 PM
Como sempre precisamos culpar alguém, então passo a vez para o nosso merit source se pronunciar @bitmover

Poxa, deixa eu curtir o carnaval kkk
se você olhar, minha atividade caiu drasticamente nas últimas semanas. Muitas questões pessoais e profissionais.

Contudo, vocês não podem depender apenas do mérit source

Distribui muitos Merits aqui, mas vejo pouca troca entre vocês. Pouca gente meritando. Você é estão todos segurando smerits igual o TryNinja? Rsrs

Estou retornando agora do carnaval e vou procurar uns tópicos. Mas como disse o ninja, não é a coisa mais fácil do mundo achar posts pra meritar
9042  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Find your managers on: March 03, 2020, 04:13:45 PM
Ok, so let's see members who have been in LoyceV campaign [ENDED] PlayBitcoinGames.com Signature Campaign | Copper/Member to Legendary.

Some of them are the following members:

bitmover
BitCryptex
Coolcryptovator
ETFbitcoin
iasenko

/enuff said  Grin

It was an honor to participate in a campaign with such distinguished and reputable members. Sadly, it was a short one
LoyceV may not be that experienced,  but he knows how to manage a campaign.
9043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 03, 2020, 10:26:18 AM
I saw bitcoin featured in Billions TV show in 2017.

A moment to remember.
9044  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bitcoinpricemap Acompanhar a cotação do BTC pelo Mundo [Projeto Brasileiro] on: March 03, 2020, 03:43:02 AM

9045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SAFETY TIPS FOR NEWBIES HERE ON BOUNTIES PROJECTS. on: March 02, 2020, 10:30:46 PM
Additionally,  I would only use new addresses to receive money from those bounties.
I see some users using old addresses with lots of funds in bounties.
It is unsafe as you may become a target.
9046  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Warning becareful with coinbase. new problems found on: March 02, 2020, 08:40:38 PM
Your funds are frpzen.

You probably need to do kyc (send some documents)

I've never heard of Coinbase doing that. You're either verified or you're not which to me is vastly more preferable than being kept in no man's land.

They won't tell you why your account is frozen and the likelihood is OP will be told to withdraw, go away and not come back. They won't lose any money.

I saw a user here with problems with btc from casinos, a few months ago.
Thy closed accounts in the past

Take a look here

Thy may have detected something not allowed with his account.
9047  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help to recommend Blockchain book, Python on Amazon, please. on: March 02, 2020, 08:28:15 PM
First of all, you should learn how bitcoin and the blockchain works, for that i recommend the Mastering Bitcoin book:

https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook

And after you can search for python scripts to do what you want to do with bitcoin, things like:

-Generate bitcoin address
-Bitcoin wrappers
-Vanity Gen

In my opinion this is the best book available for beginners.
You will understand how bitcoin works. It doesn't cover python programming,  but it is a must for anyone who wants to have a good understanding
9048  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Fraud site electrum-bitcoin.org is now mine. on: March 02, 2020, 03:43:35 PM
I would just redirect it to electrum.org

Maybe you can make a blog or something like that with tutorials on how to use electrum and avoid phishing.
9049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any guide on how to create a new token in Ethereum? on: March 01, 2020, 11:14:00 PM
I found this guide as well
https://steemit.com/ethereum/@maxnachamkin/how-to-create-your-own-ethereum-token-in-an-hour-erc20-verified

It is very easy and fast to create your own token. But it will be worthless,  unless it has any use case.
9050  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Info] Brave Browser Turn Out To Be The Most Private Browser From The Study on: February 28, 2020, 07:26:34 PM
There are many different websites which consider firefox the most private one.
It is free, no catches (like kyc from brave, bat token etc), and privacy oriented. Just download privacy addons and you are good to go.

It is a better browser.
9051  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning!] Fake Tether USD (ERC-20)! on: February 28, 2020, 06:47:56 PM
It is sad to see people being victims of so obvious scam.
One should only buy tether from reliable exchanges imo.
9052  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't auto Save your login details on: February 28, 2020, 03:45:32 PM
Chrome has its own and it stores them encrypted with different password that the one for user profile.
But this doesn't matter. It was already said (I'll bold it and make it big) and it covers the story correctly:

Lockwise os different because it is a password manager. It can generate new passwords, while chrome, as far as I know  can't.
9053  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CMC Special Announcement, AMA On Friday, Feb. 28 from 9:00-10:00am PST on: February 28, 2020, 11:25:24 AM
Unfortunately, CMC is a Blockchain.info version that tracks cryptos price. Fame is what made him in first place.
Perhaps it was one of the best sites in the past but they did not change many strategies that made ranking cryptocurrencies according to the market capacity "which can be easily manipulated" misleading for many beginners.
The site is now concerned with profit more than developing an attractive and more reliable interface.

I agree that they are more concerned about profit, and the manipulated data is a problem.

But I couldn't find more reliable alternatives yet.
Cmc shows a lot of different coins and tokens, their price on exchanges,  the average price between all of them... updated in real time. I find it very good. I tried others but I always come back to cmc for some reason.

Which one do you use?
9054  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new, I need help and some advice !! on: February 26, 2020, 02:18:24 PM

9055  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't auto Save your login details on: February 26, 2020, 11:41:19 AM
OP, your title is misleading, because from it alone it looks like you're telling to never save login information in the browser, but in your post you are only talking about public computers. There's nothing wrong with saving logins on your own computer, and if you use a master password, it's nearly as good as a full password manager, because your passwords will be encrypted.

I Agree
Firefox has an in built password manager, lockwise.
If you auto save your logins in firefox  this won't happen. But you should never do this is on public computers anyway.

Additionally,  every service states clearly not to save your logins in public computers.

Your funds are frpzen.

You probably need to do kyc (send some documents)
Coinbase is an exchange, not a wallet, you should never leave your funds there.

Your funda are now hostage unil you do whatever they want...

Coinbase should only be used to buy or sell crypto. Then you should immediately withdraw when.
9059  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible for a newbie to send merit? on: February 23, 2020, 11:10:28 PM
and how many can you receive as a Newbie?[/b]

You  can receive unlimited merit.
It only depends on your post quality.

In general  if you are interested in cryptocurrency and act as a genuine person, you will receive enough merits to rank up.
9060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outdated, Loves Ethereum on: February 23, 2020, 02:57:31 PM
How low can John Macfee go?
He abused the fact that he was a somehow famous person in cryptography ecosystem to promote scam projects . He earned lots of money that way.

He had a nice reputation as the developer of macfee antivirus... sadly he is now just a scammer.
