Imo the insurance only makes sense for exchanges, like binance.
Online wallets are very insecure and funds are often hacked or lost. This makes no sense because of their poor security, due to convenience. It is a trade off, which is worth for the people who use those services.
Paying to make an insurance in an online wallet is a waste of money Just move your funds to a safer wallet for free.

We could say ethereum classic is the decentralized face of ethereum ETC is a completely dead fork. Doesn't even have enough hash power and miners to be considered decentralized. The dao hack and fork were certainly a bad indicator and proved that vitality has too much power...

But, no one has ever been able to show me where it really matters.
It just shows if holders are selling or not. Most of the volume comes from traders who will sell if it price goes up. When thousands of days are destroyed, we have a movement of selling which is deeper than the usual, when true holders are selling. It also can prevent fake volumes, like the smart person sending coins back and forward. I don't think it is an useful metric... but that is it. From the nc50lc link: The idea of "bitcoin days destroyed" came about because it was realised that total transaction volume per day might be an inappropriate measure of the level of economic activity in Bitcoin. After all, someone could be sending the same money back and forth between their own addresses repeatedly. If you sent the same 50 btc back and forth 20 times, it would look like 1000 btc worth of activity, while in fact it represents almost nothing in terms of real transaction volume.
With "bitcoin days destroyed", the idea is instead to give more weight to coins which haven't been spent in a while.

Rank in this forum means nothing.
There are legendaries which doesn't even know what is a private key. I was really impressed when I joined this forum and saw so many legendaries which were completely newbies in crypto.
The reason is that this forum had a bad time before the merit system was implemented. People created accounts here just for bounties and spammed everywhere. Now it is harder to rank up , so you will find newbie working hard to rank up.

#Decentralized: it should be using a blockchain.
Not because something uses a "blockchain" it doesn't automatically mean it's decentralized. Name one project besides Bitcoin that's actually decentralized. Ethereum tries to be. The idea of ethereum is to be a world computer, a computer which cannot be stopped. Thi way, a decentralized app is an application which cannot be stopped by anyone. It is running in the world computer, in the blockchain. Why would we need an app which cannot be stopped? If it somehow is offensive to powerful people. Nobody knows that can be done with ethereum... what kind of projects should be done there. But the potential is enormous. Ethereum is still a new project, and if it is going to succeed or not is unknown. But it could be a game changer.

It was an honor to participate in a campaign with such distinguished and reputable members. Sadly, it was a short one LoyceV may not be that experienced, but he knows how to manage a campaign.

I saw bitcoin featured in Billions TV show in 2017. A moment to remember.

Additionally, I would only use new addresses to receive money from those bounties. I see some users using old addresses with lots of funds in bounties. It is unsafe as you may become a target.

Your funds are frpzen.
You probably need to do kyc (send some documents)
I've never heard of Coinbase doing that. You're either verified or you're not which to me is vastly more preferable than being kept in no man's land. They won't tell you why your account is frozen and the likelihood is OP will be told to withdraw, go away and not come back. They won't lose any money. I saw a user here with problems with btc from casinos, a few months ago. Thy closed accounts in the past Take a look here https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7bhf5v/coinbasegambling_site_what_exactly_happens_if/Thy may have detected something not allowed with his account.

First of all, you should learn how bitcoin and the blockchain works, for that i recommend the Mastering Bitcoin book: https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbookAnd after you can search for python scripts to do what you want to do with bitcoin, things like: -Generate bitcoin address -Bitcoin wrappers -Vanity Gen In my opinion this is the best book available for beginners. You will understand how bitcoin works. It doesn't cover python programming, but it is a must for anyone who wants to have a good understanding

I would just redirect it to electrum.org
Maybe you can make a blog or something like that with tutorials on how to use electrum and avoid phishing.

There are many different websites which consider firefox the most private one. It is free, no catches (like kyc from brave, bat token etc), and privacy oriented. Just download privacy addons and you are good to go.
It is a better browser.

It is sad to see people being victims of so obvious scam. One should only buy tether from reliable exchanges imo.
