941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: December 24, 2021, 04:28:30 PM
You may think that by reviewing the current context and understand what should do exactly at this moment. If you have invested a few days ago in Bitcoin, you are definitely fallen in lose because Bitcoin price has decreased. So hold is the better suggestion. There is not alternative way right now.
That is the right advice for now because there really is no other choice but to hold it in and hope the market will recover soon,
the most important thing is to stay calm and conditions like this are normal,
As of today, bitcoin is trading with a value of $51.2k and has grown 10% than in the last 5 days so I think bitcoin is starting to recover after a month of declination. So for someone that had choosed to hold their bitcoin despite of the dip then congratulations you made the right choice and had the right mindset and sorry for the ones who had sold their coins because their commitment isn't that strong enough. Bitcoin has been known to recover from every dips historically and its future is still promising as bitcoin continues to grow due to its scarcity.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH OR BSC on: December 24, 2021, 11:02:49 AM
For me, ETH will always be better than BSC. Due to the low gas in ETH I recently started using ETH even more often than BSC. There are no innovative projects in BSC so I don't think I will be here for a very long time.

Nope, eth fees are a bit higher than BSC fees and nowadays, many new projects prefer to run under BSC network instead of the ethereum one. Due to my daily routine in hunting airdrop on bsc's projects, I use BSC more than ethereum.
Folks, I think that there's no need to choose between Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain when you can always invest on both of it. The only thing that people chooses BSC over ETH is that its trading or transaction fees are much cheaper compared to ethereum. About projects, they're both promising. But if you believed that someday soon ETH will likely to reduce its gas fees then hold unto it. As for me, I have those two on my portfolio but I did invested on ETH or than I did in BSC.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk once again throwing shade at bitcoin on: December 24, 2021, 07:57:28 AM
It's funny how he says this, yet the largest % of his stack (by far) is bitcoin. He has stated a few times that the only crypto he owns is bitcoin, ethereum, and some doge.

He even clarifies that the doge he has was all mined. He has not spent a single dollar on dogecoin.

When asked why he supports dogecoin he said, "I like memes and dogs."    Solid reasoning!

That's exactly the reason why people should stop following Elon Musk because as the OP said, we can't for sure knoe what is his motive or he thinks because maybe he's just only up to manipulate markets to his own benefit and dump it again after. Now that Elon Musk is again on the move and trying to pump Doge after his tweet that his pro-doge even though his past statements doesn't match well.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 24, 2021, 07:27:37 AM
Actually, I also don't see any improvements of IT this season ans yeah his presence is also not felt next to Rondo, infact in their last game vs The Suns, IT only scored 3 points in his 26 minutes in the game while Rondo scored zero in his 23 minutes time. Lakers is indeed struggling now especially without Anthony Davis, though they're consisted of star players, their chemistry isn't just good enough.
Now they're placed 6th in the Western Conference, it looks like Nuggets or Mavericks will be able to fill their spot soon.

Of course, Isaiah Thomas had a terrible performance against the Suns, but he played well in the first two games. By the way, his 10-day contract will end on December 27, and it means that he still has two more games to prove himself on the court. I wonder if the Lakers will decide to re-sign him or not.
Lakers has lost again today against San Antonio Spurs with a huge 28-score difference (LAL 110-138 SAS) by the way it's their 4th consecutive loss just this week with ofcourse IT on the court. He only scored 2-points in 21 minutes play, so I think Lakers won't renew his contract as he is not that well suitable in the Lakers.
Their next opponent is against Brooklyn Nets, the only game left for IT to prove his presence before his 10-day contract expires but I think we already knew what would be the result of this game tho.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: December 24, 2021, 06:43:25 AM
Binance Coin has been one of the one-stop shop like for investors nowadays, since BNB it was moved to Binance Chain which uses BFT to validate the transactions and speed up the transaction process in four different types of nodes. Also, investors are really drawn into it because the trading cost are much more cheaper compared to ethereum and bitcoin alone and Binance now are having great discounts when you buy BNB, like the more you buy, the more you receive on discounts on transaction fees.
So, $1k is really an easy obstacle for BNB to reach. Experts are already having some forecast and predicting that it would probably reach $2500 by 2025.
946  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: December 24, 2021, 06:02:28 AM
This goes to show that the control system of fiat is actually a double-edged sword. On the one hand, there may be some good in the fiat mechanism that allows it to be controlled by the government. The effect of an economic depression or any economic crisis brought about by natural and man-made disasters, such as what we're currently experiencing with COVID-19, could somehow be eased with certain government steps. On the other hand, however, a bad monetary and economic decision could easily make this control system the cause of a much larger economic problem in the future.
The people who actually works in such Federal Banks where fiats is printed and produced doesn't really know what it feels to be a regular citizen because they're in the higher position of the economy. But for the normal citizens who only just got enough money to put food on the table and for other bills certainly do felt what the government did and how deep they have dug just to pay the debt by producing more fiats.
Actually, government knew that already that at some point economy will collapse, they have just neglected it and just cared to fix the problem on their time while they have the job and then transfer the responsibilities to pay the debts again by the incoming government officials. That's why it's a never ending cycle.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 23, 2021, 06:53:29 PM

A great chance for him however as even for a 10-day contract, there's a designated salary for it.

I'm not sure we will see a good impact from him, AFAIB, Joe Johnson is no longer the same when he was still with the Atlanta Hawks, lots of young players already who can play better and deserved to be given a chance, of course we will never forget him, he will always be of the greatest NBA Player back when he was still with the Hawks, but it's time for retirement now, if he still play, then maybe we should not expect much from him.

Obviously, he is no longer on is prime, IT was given a chance by the Lakers and was doing good. So why not take the chance for Joe to play again in 2021? at least he can still earn some money and play with this young talents and have the one time and nostalgic experience for him and his fans to see Joe on the floor again.

I can agree with you on that, IT was really doing well as he averages 11.7 points so far with the LA Lakers. Hopefully this good stats will continue and I'm pretty sure he'll benefit on the current situation of the Lakers as they are still experimenting to find the right chemistry so they'll get the consistency they always wanted.

It's too early to tell, we need more games to see his consistency. But actually, I don't feel his presence as the Lakers are not hyping me anymore, I mean they are not winning games as expected, so this team is just an ordinary team that struggles despite having a lot of all star players.
Actually, I also don't see any improvements of IT this season ans yeah his presence is also not felt next to Rondo, infact in their last game vs The Suns, IT only scored 3 points in his 26 minutes in the game while Rondo scored zero in his 23 minutes time. 948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2021, 06:23:07 PM
When I first heared about bitcoin way back 2016, I didn't really cared about it or atleast gave any thought because I just thought it was just an another SCAM who promised profits or returns to gain investors, what I did is I just listened but there's nothing going inside my mind as I don't have any interests about it at all, maybe my mind is just tired to hear any new schemes that somehow won't survive in the coming months. But then, a friend of mine has shared it again to me on the following year how he's life has drastically changed about bitcoin and that's the start of my interest on bitcoin. And the rest was history!
949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 23, 2021, 05:54:24 PM
Its just a December offer you will get 20% discount on $60K so its actually 50K at the moment actually this is inspired from someone's Avatar. Smiley

Bitcoin may rise or fall which can't be predicted by anyone to be honest, next question please.
And bitcoin keeps going down to $45k currently, so still a good discount. But in my case, I would rather wait, for me it will still go to the lower $40k'ish and that will be the best time to enter.

Yes, it may rise or fall, because that's the nature of it, very volatile, however, there is what we call bearish and bull market. And for sure you know the difference already.
There's no reason to wait until bitcoin will dip as much as $40k because as you said, bitcoin may rise or fall and we nobody could really predict it. And as of my today's writing, bitcoin's market is slightly having an inclination and it's valued at a price of $49.8k (6.55% more than in past week) so now is still the best time to buy and hold before the December discount is over and maybe the price will recover in 2022.
Bitcoin's fall is just a temporary we know that because of it's high volatility rate. So if you could afford now, why not.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Popular Cryptocurrencies Of 2021 on: December 23, 2021, 05:28:41 PM

Now came the time of NFT. NFT is a morden trend and NFT allows to earn even more money then other altcoins.
Now appear project like this https://twitter.com/LaCucina_DeFi/status/1466776061493059584 that allow to combine NFT with DeFi to allow people to earn even more money.
New technologies offer new opportunities.

Many people prefer stability. Bitcoin has a limited issue and the demand in Bitcoin continues to grow.
That is why people prefer to buy bitcoin and use it for investment purposes.

In 2021 cryptocurrency market has raised a lot. Hope 2022 will be so successful for the market like 2021.
The cryptocurrency industry is actively developing and a lot of new and interesting projects appear.
It's quite a fact that more and more projects/coins are created yearly trying to give the crowd more options to choose as it's decentralized but only few coins survived in the industry and mostly not all are promising to give you returns in the future because its system isn't developed well so investors doesn't give any attention to it at all, and some coins are powered by crypto whales to create a temporary hype to gain investors. So choosing something worth it is really a challenge.
Actually more people now are engaged to crpytocurrencies that in the recent years, as it gives people hopes to be financially free and ofcourse the best reason to that is cyptocurrencies is the best hedge against inflation, for a fact.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: I think most people still trust the USD more than Bitcoin on: December 23, 2021, 05:12:54 PM
Ofcourse, there are still many people who chooses to trust USD than bitcoin over bitcoin because bitcoin isn't that fully developed yet and its volatility is too high to trust on. The fact that the government isn't favor on cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin, and that's really normal nowadays. And the other factor would be is, people doesn't have enough knowledge about bitcoin and its works that may eventually help their lives in a much more different way. So, I think it's our obligation to give people some knowledge especially if they think that bitcoin is a scam or bad for the economy.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: December 22, 2021, 07:31:15 PM
for now we do not dare to conclude.that because bitcoin has not been.widely used or adopted.by the public.so we do not dare to conclude.that bitcoin is better than money in the bank but if this has been.realized in the future with the widespread.adoption of bitcoin then it is not impossible that bitcoin is more real than money in the bank
We can already conclude it because we can now alteast attest or make a conclusion from it for what we've experienced since we invested in bitcoin. So yes, we can answer that question on our own now on which is more real even if it's not yet adopted in other countries or widely used by public.
IMO, bitcoin is much more real because now we have our own free will and liberty to be our own bank with no one is there questioning every step we make to our very own money. While having your money in the bank is somehow tiresome nowadays as they keep on watching us more and questioning us more. That money we put in the bank is considered as dead money waiting on when to be wasted.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: December 22, 2021, 06:55:26 PM
According to the article here, that Tommy Fury is dealing with an injury even before it was announced leading him to pull out of the fight. That rib injury was caused by what they called an idiot on that gym that punch Tommy Fury with a bare knuckle that leads to a broken bone.

I can't imagine why that event happened in the first place? Not saying Tommy Fury should be able to handle it but did he receive the punch without paying attention? But regardless, at least his body should be strong enough to handle the impact even unaware and defense less.
Oh, that explains why Tommy Fury's team decided to pull out few days prior to the fight as he is badly injured and needs immediate medical attention. A rib injury is indeed a painful experience especially if it's caused by a bare knuckle punch, even if it's equipped with gloves a rib injury could still happen. Ofcourse that punch came from a much stronger guy with a motive to help Tommy endure the pain and make his body strong enough to withstand consecutive punches, it was just too sad that his body can't handle that much.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Investment Suggestion on: December 22, 2021, 06:18:57 PM
Long term is a simple technique to be able to get big profits, when we are optimistic that the coins we buy will be profitable for the long term then don't panic when you see prices go down, the best way is to buy, store in a private wallet and leave it according to the timeframe, don't check the daily price because it makes us tempted to sell.
You mean buy and hodl long term? Yes, that one is infact the most classic technique of all time. It goes on any assets, either real estates, golds, and other essential commodity. The only challenge about hodling it long term is to find what's the exact promising coins would you invest to gain serious profits in the future. And after that, patience is really needed so yes if you're planning to hold it for let's say 2-5 years then you should avoid looking at the price daily because it's irrelevant anymore. Just check it quarterly.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on sale, will the support continues to hold? on: December 22, 2021, 05:32:30 PM
Analyst says Bitcoin is 'on sale' after BTC price dips below $54,000

Quote
Bitcoin price is dropping back toward monthly lows, but analysts agree that the current range is a “buy zone.”

Bitcoin's (BTC) downtrend extended a few rungs lower on Dec. 3 after the price dropped under $54,000 and traders will note that the BTC/USD daily chart shows a notable uptick in sell volume.

Investors seem concerned at the emergence of a new COVID-19 variant and hawkish comments from the Federal Reserve. Meanwhile, veteran investment icon Charlie Munger added to the fire by comparing the price action in the crypto market to the dot-com era that ended with the bubble popping.

Strong lower support at $52,000 to $53,000
The “listless” nature of Bitcoin's price action over the past few weeks was highlighted by crypto market intelligence firm Decentrader, who pointed to the choppy price action on lower timeframes and the evidence of a slow downtrend on high timeframes as cause for traders' increased fear “that the bull run may be over.”

The analysts suggested that once BTC breaks out of its current range, “the most obvious support cluster lies around $52,000 to $53,000” near the point where the price broke down during the May crash earlier in the year.

Decentrader said,

“Should we get a deeper correction then a strong support area lies around the 200DMA at $46,200 and at the lower support level of $44,300. To the upside, a significant resistance level lies at the round number of $60,000.”

I guess we are starting to see some people who are panicking with the possibility of bitcoin going down below $50k.

What are your thoughts, will bitcoin support enough to avoid a dump, and if this price will dump, how low it will go?
Since we are done talking with the possible new ATH, then maybe we should not overlook what is happening now.
Almost the last month the price of bitcoin has experienced a very deep price decline. Even the price of bitcoin has dropped to as low as $42k although it had risen to as low as $50k last week before falling again. Conditions like this make some people panic so they sell their assets because they are afraid that they will experience big losses.
Since bitcoin broke another ATH last month, the market has experiences price declination afterwards until now. And if I'm not mistaken the lowest price of bitcoin after the ath was below $46k. So it can't be avoided that lots of investors lost its hope on bitcoin after it's consecutive steep declination in the past few weeks, those said investors are the one who aren't committed and trust bitcoin that much when in-fact bitcoin has proved its potential since then. Those who have sold their assets already lost the battle, and soon if it recovers again they would feel bad that they had sold their assets in the first place.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: December 22, 2021, 04:17:10 PM
Yes, there's no gender preference about being in a cryptocurrency, and nobody has prohibited it neither discourage other gender. But the fact is, men tend to be more risk taker than women. I'm not saying that women can't do it, it's just mostly of the women doesn't developed their skills and instincts like the men has, like to blend easily in any environment even if it's exhausted mentally or physically or logical reasonings. Just imagine the stock market, can you see more male or female? Yeah, exactly! Let's just face the reality that there are certain jobs that only men or women can do because not all jobs are the same even if there's no sexual preference established.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: December 22, 2021, 07:39:08 AM
Once people was crazy about meme coin. After publishing lots of article, videos Against meme coins as cautioins, and after knowing that such step would be risky but they keep invested on such coins for earn quick money. Doge was pumped after elon tweet but dump again. now it seems people are more careful than before and most of memcoins got flop. so holding meme coins still make you rich or soon it'll be end of meme trend?
Holding some cryptocurrencies even if it's a memecoin like DOGE and SHIB. Still it can make you rich if you could eventually flip it wisely and your timing is indeed good when whales decides to pump and dump it again. While it can make you rich fast, it can also makes you lose your funds fast because of the whales schemes, and that's the hard part of it which makes it extreme volatile and riskier. About the hype and trend? It's to soon to decide if the trend already ended knowing that we know one famous whale who manipulates market for fun according to his wants. I bet you know who he is.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 22, 2021, 05:48:10 AM
Lance Stephenson just got a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks. Great to see his crazy ass getting another shot in the NBA. He is getting older but still extremely talented. It’s a shame his strange on court behavior limited his ceiling in the sport. His blowing in LeBron James’ ear clip will surely be a moment remembered for a long time.
Yeah, I also remembered that moment he's blowing LeBron's ear on the back Grin
And when I read the news on hoopshype ealier today that Lance Stephenson is returning to NBA with the Hawks, I was so excited that I immediately looked at the schedule of when they're going to face the Lakers. Sadly, the schedule of their face-off is on 8th of January and Stephenson isn't going to make it that day because he just got a 10-day contract.

So far, 90 percent of the possible 21 million Bitcoins have already been mined, but it may take up to 2140 to mine the remaining 10 percent.
Source: https://www.cnbctv18.com/cryptocurrency/why-crypto-bill-is-unlikely-to-be-taken-up-in-ongoing-winter-session-of-parliament-11887082.htm

Then I think bitcoins price would appreciate even more as time goes by especially when then mined bitcoins is already at 95% to 98% stage. The bitcoin's value would surely rise in an unprecedented value because of it's scarcity. 50 years from now, bitcoin's future is at unpredictable stage and we can't predict what's likely to happen as bitcoin's ecosystem is not yet fully developed.

People dont listen smart people.
Its been said many times by smartest people now its here to be honest usa economy is going in toilet.
And it will be bad for the dollar ....but not if  the dollar USDC and tether will be most dominated currency around the world after china digital currency.
Anyways dollar value will grow bigger as fed protecting rather usd value then making economy better.
2022-2025 will be nice suffering times
And the repo will end as soon as march 2022 not later.
What is coming ? We all know whats coming prices will fall down and shortage of fiat currency.

Dont be stubborn listen people who knows its been said many times that BIDEN goverment will cut off the printer brrrrr...as Biden is not a money printer guy.

Its over say hello to nice deflation

LOL you don't know what you're talking about.  Who are these smart people, are you including yourself in this prestigious group?  Also did I just see you type that China's digital currency will be the most dominant worldwide or did I happen to read that wrong..because that is absolutely never going to be the case.  The US is struggling a bit right now but so is the rest of the world.  The world needs the US to do well for it to do well, facts.. so careful what you wish for.
Yeah, I bet he/she is included in that highly prestigious group who called themselves as a righteous smart people. I hope that guy isn't from USA or any country that is highly dependent in USA. So anyways, USA has been the greateast and powerful country no matter what era we are in for a reason. This is just a huge wave creating a brink of collpase but sure that wouldn't happen. The USA will always get through it, it may take some time but they will.
