I'm still looking for a SP20 controller ... Spon is charging like 150$ + shipping for one... not an option for now.

yeah, maybe just selling as dead miner would be more economical, especially when btc is rising.
someone with extra controller might just go for it (sorry, not me-i am sold out of SP20).

Yeah I could sell the blades but I would like to mine with it ;-)

I've uploaded Custom Firmware 0.93 for my customers. 0.93 contains an update which should mitigate, if not completely resolve, the issue of U3 zombies on the R1 controller! If you've purchased through the website or group buy and don't have the download link, please contact me via PM.

Any chance we can get it if we didn't buy it from you ?

Thanks

I'll provide the updates to the community once I'm sold out. There are exceptions for those who have purchased from me in the past, just contact me via PM.

Allright will be waiting.

I wanted to post my recent experience with Bitmain.  After having a brand new unit's controller die within the first days of use, I contacted Bitmain and was less than pleased by their proposed solution (ship the entire unit to China and wait for a response).  Thankfully, I stumbled upon the Bitmain USA team and contacted them.  They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the resolution, and I am appreciative for their assistance.  I highly recommend dealing with their USA team out of Denver to make your life easier when dealing with Bitmain Products or Services.  Here's their number.  (844) 248-6246

Any email ? I need a S5 daughter board. (18 pins)

Thanks

Running my  stick at 125 mhz (waiting for some Y usb to push it) for 14 days ... 0 HW. 6.868 GH/s

Insane stick !!!

Hats off to Sidehack and Novak !

you can do 150 with no issues at all!

Nah I tried, looks like my USB doesn't like it. I tried to tweek the pot and I couldn't stabilize it.

I'm sure it's all power related with my USB port.

Thought I'd share my misery for the last 24 hours.
Tried playing with voltage and frequency (for the contest) on my two sticks and minera-cgminer pi.
Everything went to hell. Only this morning do I think I got things back to where they were- 24Gh at 225.

Also edonkey gave me this so I didn't have to wait for a 1K share to appear, which is what cgminer seems to require before down regulating my share difficulty. But it doesn't work. I did put a space and a number (80) after 'diff'

/var/www/minera/minera-bin/cgminerStartupScript: line 4: --suggest-diff: command not found

Any thoughts on this one?
Good job!  Just a lil curious at what voltage your running.  Seems incredible to reach 24ghs at 225 freq.

It's two sticks Meech so 12gh each Tongue

976  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS : 4x Spondoolies SP20E's $350 each (US Based) on: October 23, 2015, 04:00:47 PM
These things are selling between $300 and $350 ea so I will offer $320 and pay shipping. The last two I bought earlier this week I got for $310 shipped.

Ok, a fair offer so you have a deal.

Call it $340 all in with shipping -

BTC price = 1.22BTC per miner inc. shipping.

Payment address : PURE BULLSHIT

Drop me a pm with your shipping address.

Thanks Smiley

use another fan and if it's doing the same, it's the controller

if not then you did something to the connector and/or cables

Good point thanks Smiley

I had this happen to me once over the 9 months I ran a bunch of S5s here.  one of my S5s reverted back to the previous config (before me) and was working for Li for 2 days.  Li provided full compensation to me to cover the loss outside of the 14.4 allowed hours, no problem at all.  Have they corrected the issue yet?  Sometimes mistakes are made when the crew is working with hundreds of miners at a time.

yes, it's back on now, but this does not sound wrong to you? miners reverting back to lee's pool? same as mine. I might be seeing something that is not there, as someone who has been scammed of hundreds of BTC over the years I have been here, But I believe it's worth looking into, I have been pm'd by another user who has had this issue, then they "refund" when they get found out.

makes me think why they have a 14.4hr off time in the first place. thats alot of pool time IMO

I'm trying to keep my eyes open, If lee comes back with a legitimate reason, I will back down, I don't idly throw stuff around, I am not saying to leave his pool, I am not saying jump on my bandwagon, still plenty of happy people here.

I understand that it looks like to be very strange that one of you miner was mining for Lee.

My personal experience over the 6-8 months with Lee always been good. He fixed my half working machine, compensate when he had too. I had a minor issue with the compensation process but we cleared the issue. We are talking only a few dollars. It wasn't a big deal at all.

The bottom line is there is not a lot of honest person running around Bitcoin business but I think Lee always been quite good with us. It might not be perfect but I highly doubt he would try to steal 2 days of mining from one of your S5 and risk his trust for something you can find be yourself by looking at your pool stats quite easily.

The 14.4 hours is just over half a day. Imagine something major happen and you only have 14.4 hours to fix it. In that perspective, this is isn't a lot of time.

This is just my 2 cents ;-)

I Hope you can find some peace with Lee hosting service !
