981  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy now or be sorry! on: March 03, 2016, 10:30:43 AM
yeah those who can spare definitely you can purchase coins so that you can profit in the long term. there are certain things holding the price , but realistically how much it can rise Huh

To the fucking mars.... And not only can it, likely it will...
Check back in a year and see if you can still get $4xx coins....
I severely doubt it....
982  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Moving forward with Armory on: February 20, 2016, 09:31:28 PM
is there a link for the last stable version i can download ?

the main site seems to be still down .....
983  Economy / Speculation / Re: 232 days before bitcoin block reward halving on: February 20, 2016, 08:57:09 PM
price will rise, so buy much bitcoins as you can now, and sell them later for larger price

But there will be a lot of selling as well once it reach the price that is double to what it is prior to the halving so the price will dip again. We just don't know at what price point will it stabilize.

it will trigger some selling/ dumping but people can only dump once ..........
eventually the shortage of coins will surpass the dumping and the price will rocket
as the people who have already sold their coins are effectively out of the game  and can have no further effect
on the market

when they dump at 800 or whatever and the price keeps on rising they will be unable to afford to buy back in .....Smiley
984  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 20, 2016, 08:44:03 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will be 10000 $ in 2020s but it could be 2000 - 3000$.

Well we never can tell what will happen with bitcoin by then. 2000 -3000 dollars is also a good amount of money.
I am just hoping as a minimum 5000 dollars or more.

I'm completely different from you. By 2020 only one bitcoin is more than enough to become millionaire. I believe in bitcoin's growth in exponential manner. So, bitcoin will be hitting $10k mark by end of 2016, then 2020 would be year we can see bitcoin will be hitting one millions mark.

It's a bit too optimistic. A realistic optimistic price speculation is 10k$ by 2020 IMHO and that would make a lot of people happy (including me).
100 BTC is definitely a good position (a good bet ?) for the future.

If the price reaches $10k by 2020, 100 bitcoin is worth $1 million. I suggest anybody with the ability to buy 100 bitcoin do that.

i have 178btc but its less likely to happen. havent cross the $1k mark yet and its not going to be over $1k by 2020 IMHO

you couldnt be much more wrong ..........
the price will break 1000 in 2916
whether it can maintain 1000+ is another matter but i think 800 is likely by the halving
985  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is IMMORTAL... on: February 15, 2016, 07:46:38 PM
bitcoin has the first movers advantage and that will keep it well in front for a long time .......

986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be stable in 2020 on: January 17, 2016, 11:19:29 PM
It can also become the first currency to conquer space if we are throwing predictions left and right. Price volatility is not the only barrier for adoption. Bitcoin has to solve its user friendliness if that's a word or concept. Unless people to adopt it massively in the next years I don't think it can't survive.

I think you're wrong...
I think with the ever dwindling supply even at current adoption rates the price will flourish....
Dark markets, Gambling and porn alone are worth billions never mind all the legit uses....
The legit users (of they are to adopt it) would send it way past the moon, maybe even past the Mars.... Smiley
987  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some one sent 7xx bitcoins to 1k+ loop address on: January 17, 2016, 08:56:35 PM
Well they are making life for bitcoin very tough

If they are going to pay for spamming the network that's okay, larger block adjustments are on the way

My transactions are confirming just fine as it is... Wink
988  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mike Hearn exits, sign of big price jump? on: January 16, 2016, 11:06:56 PM
If bitcoin was dependant on one man, it would be at zero already

The rest of the foundation could leave as well and they would be simply replaced with people who want to be there

989  Economy / Speculation / Re: drop it like it's hot. on: January 16, 2016, 01:03:04 AM
Why is kwuk still here? I stopped visiting this forum as much becuase of all the trolls, I come back, and it's worse. Moderators really need to step it up. This looks bad for the face of bitcoin if our community is a big joke.

Kwuk is here for his own reasons... I think we all know what that is.... But nobody listens to his crap anymore.....
990  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is just the beginning of the end. on: January 16, 2016, 12:45:14 AM
Wow, so many doomsday threads going on here.  I say that this is just a dip--a big one, but a dip nonetheless and I believe we'll rebound soon.  I could be totally wrong, we could be going to zero but I don't think so.

It's a downward spiral. Already 30% of miners have shutdown their operation over this crash. Making the network significantly weaker and slower yet again.

Bitcoins scalability problem doesn't go away with 'oh it will be fine, the price will recover'. Besides an unfounded position it's also a selfish one not considering the potential of Bitcoin for this entire world. There is serious work that needs to be done for Bitcoin to survive.

Bullshit.... Smiley
991  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price is below 400$, What next? on: January 15, 2016, 05:56:15 PM
Bitcoin will die because 1 guy says so.  ..  Lol

I hope nobody dumped their coins after hearing this....

I would guess someone paid him to make that statement to upset the market and, he probably still has his coins....
992  Other / Archival / Re: Why bitcoin will never die in two words on: January 09, 2016, 12:14:41 AM
LIMITED SUPPLY.........
993  Economy / Speculation / Re: um.. why is the price going up? on: January 07, 2016, 07:22:03 PM
Bitcoins are going to get very scarce very soon, I would imagine this is only the start of things to come as the old school economy's start to crumble.... This China rise is the tip of the ice berg....
994  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will this bitcoin will go down? on: January 06, 2016, 09:51:58 AM
I mean , i really want to invest in this , but the price is too much high, do they go down? In what month?
i dont think its going to go down anytime soon. the halfing is also gonna happen next year and thats just gonna drive the price up even more. id say look at the price price as the lowest and invest in now.

I agree, get in now while you still can...

I remember people saying $10 was too expensive before it went to  $250.....you don't want to be them when that happens this year....
995  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: January 05, 2016, 01:51:41 PM
I think few thousand is better. Then sit tight for a few years and pray.

If everyone does that it would be at zero.... Trading, buying, selling, spending is necessary for success, if everyone just bought a few thousand back and did nothing except sit on them they would at some point become worthless....
996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Christmas Call: $700 on: January 04, 2016, 08:45:46 AM
Christmas has passed. The price is below $450. So the Christmas call has not been reached.

Very unlikely people have spare cash at this time of year to invest, a lot may even be in the red after buying gifts etc

Let's see what happens when they are getting paid from work again Smiley
997  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: January 04, 2016, 08:36:46 AM
Two years ago I found that flat earthers theorist. The first 3 months I was in total denial, like someone "sane" would be. After that, in an exercise of extreme open mindness I started seriously doubth about it. Now, Im pretty sure earth is a sphere BUT in the meantime I have concluded that all NASA, the mars missions, the apollo ones, the rossetta landing, the international space station, all them are scams.

All-of-them. You just have to examine the facts.

What about bigfoot?  Smiley
998  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: January 03, 2016, 08:10:14 PM
Most of my bitcoins are sold directly after the price got higher.
It's bad to sell but saving for the future is hard to do when there is profit to be taken...

I know people who trade all day long...
I know others that just  bought and  intend to hodl for 5-10years ...
I will be interested to see what the results will be and which strategy paid off......
999  Economy / Speculation / Re: 57 bitcoin... will I have 6-figures in my bank acct by end of 2016? on: January 03, 2016, 07:20:49 PM
keep ten coins and sell the rest

That makes zero sense to me.... Keep them all if you can afford it...
1000  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market ended. Now going to $500 on: December 31, 2015, 10:18:34 AM
Lol if anything the bear market is growing.
Sentiment is very negative. VC is retreating from bitcoin investments. Early adopters are selling massive amounts...

Early adopters selling their huge loads of coins? That's great! The sooner we have less people with a lot coins, the better. I see this as a great thing. Beside that, the sentiment is good. Most of the people expect the price to rise further in 2016. You are just kwacking nonsense.

Sentiment has never had this much pressure to go forwards, even without the halving of suppply
.....

Moonboots in June motherfuckers.... Yip Yip ya.... Smiley
